Sicherheitshandschuhe schützen vor Stech- und Schnittverletzungen
durch handgeführte Messer und ähnlichen Werkzeugen, insbesondere bei Ausbein-,
Auslöse- und Zerlegearbeiten von Fleisch, Zerschneiden von Nahrungsmitteln, beim
Bearbeiten von Leder, Textilien oder Kunststoffen und ähnlichen Materialien (EN1082-
1:1996).

„E”, „D”, „DC” und „M” Sicherheitshandschuhe schützen auch bei
Arbeiten mit elektrisch oder pneumatisch angetriebenen und handgeführten Messern bei
leichtem Kontakt mit der Schneide wie Enthäuter, Entflieser, Bandmesser oder ähnlichem,
deren Schneiden glatt oder nur schwach gewellt sind gegen schwache Kontaktierungen
mit der Schneide (EN14328:2005).

Sicherheitshandschuhe schützen nur die vom Ringgewebe bedeckten
Hand- und Armteile beim Gebrauch von Handmessern und ähnlichen Werkzeugen vor Ver-
letzungen durch Stiche und Schnitte. Je nach den Anforderungen einer Gefährdungsanalyse
des Arbeitsplatzes können auch weiterreichende Schutzmaßnahmen z. B. das Tragen einer
Stechschutz-schürze erforderlich sein. Sollen noch andere Körperteile vor Schnitt- oder
Stichverletzungen geschützt werden, ist das Tragen weiterer persönlicher Schutzausrüstung
notwendig.

Sicherheitshandschuhe sind aus einem rostfreien Chrom-Nickel-
Edelstahl hergestellt, welcher sensibilisierend wirken oder allergische Reaktionen auslösen kann.
Die Produkte sind zulässig für Personen über 14 Jahren.

Sicherheitshandschuhe bieten keinen Schutz bei Arbeiten
mit angetriebenen Messern oder Messerklingen, welche eine Zahnung auf-
weisen. Ebenso sind sie bei Sägen und ähnlichen Werkzeugen, bei Arbeiten
an Abschwartmaschinen, Kuttern etc. sowie bei Arbeiten an Maschinen und
Vorrichtungen, die das Metallringgewebe oder Handschuhteile einziehen
können, nicht zulässig. Lesen Sie hierzu die Bedienungsanleitung der ent-
sprechenden Maschine oder Vorrichtung.

Sicherheitshandschuhe bestehen aus Edelstahl. Vermei-
den Sie daher die Nähe von Leitungen, die elektrische Spannung führen
sowie das Arbeiten an elektrischen Anlagen.

Sicherheitshandschuhe werden in 7 Größen hergestellt. Dies sind
Standardgrößen und entsprechen den deutschen Handschuhnormalgrößen von 5 bis 11.

Achtung: Abweichend von der europäischen Norm EN 1082-1:1996 die eine farbliche
Kennzeichnung vorschreibt, kann die Größenkennzeichnung der ecomesh

Sicherheitshandschuhe auch auf einer Plakette im Bandbereich als internationale Größe
oder in englischer Sprache angebracht sein (siehe Tabelle oben).
Größenauswahl
Die richtige Größe darf nicht zu klein gewählt werden, da das Ringgewebe nicht elastisch
ist. Bei geöffneter Hand ist daher ein Materialüberstand am Finger vorhanden, der für ein
ungehindertes Bewegen erforderlich ist.
Je nach den Anforderungen einer Gefährdungsanalyse des Arbeitsplatzes können auch
weiterreichende Schutzmaßnahmen erforderlich sein. Die
ecomesh
®
Handschuhe
sind daher mit Stulpen aus Ringgewebe in einer Länge von 8, 15, 19 oder 21 cm sowie für
Arbeiten, die einen Schutz des gesamten Armes bis zur Achsel erfordern, auch als
Armschutzhandschuhe lieferbar.
Sollen auch andere Körperteile vor Schnitt- oder Stichverletzungen geschützt werden, ist das
Tragen weiterer persönlicher Schutzausrüstung notwendig.

„E”, „D”, „DC” und „M”
Insbesondere bei Arbeiten mit elektrisch oder pneumatisch angetriebenen
Messern (EN14328:2005) darf der Handschuh jedoch nicht zu groß sein, da
sonst die Gefahr besteht, dass das Ringgewebe durch bewegliche
Maschinenteile mitgerissen werden kann.
Einstellung der Handschuhe

„T” Sicherheitshandschuhe können nur an der dafür vorgesehenen
Hand getragen werden. Die Handschuhe werden werksseitig zum Tragen an der linken
Hand geliefert. Für die rechte Hand muß bei der Bestellung der Zusatz „Rechts“ ange-
geben werden.

„E”, „D”, „DC” und „M” Sicherheitshandschuhe können wahlweise an
rechter oder linker Hand getragen werden. Geliefert werden die Handschuhe für die linke

Hand, für das Tragen an der rechten Hand können die Handschuhe problemlos gewendet
werden.
Wenden von linke auf rechte Hand:
1. Wenden Sie den Handschuh von innen nach außen.
Nur bei Stechschutzhandschuhen mit Stulpe:
2. Ziehen Sie das Handgelenkband durch den Schlitz wieder nach außen.
3. Biegen Sie ggf. die Wellenbandaussteifungen gerade.
Einstellung des Bandes:

„T” Sicherheitshandschuhe haben ein Textilband aus Polypropylen, das
längenverstellbar aber nicht austauschbar ist. Der Handschuh wird werkseitig für Rechts-
händer geliefert, d. h. zum Tragen an der linken Hand.
Für die rechte Hand muß bei der Bestellung der Zusatz „Rechts“ angegeben werden.
Mit der Druckknopfschnalle kann die Bandlänge angepasst werden. Überstehendes Band
kann leicht gekürzt werden, Ideallänge: 25 mm. Das Bandende ist nach dem Kürzen mit
leichter Hitze zu versiegeln (z.B. Feuerzeug).

„E”, „D”, „DC” und „M” Vollmetall-Sicherheitshandschuhe haben ein
Band aus Metallringgewebe. Das Bandendstück wird in die entsprechenden Befestigungs-
ringe eingehängt (siehe Bild 1) und muß dabei fest einrasten.
Beim Schließen des Handgelekbandes ist zwingend darauf zu achten, daß
der Schlitz durch das Band verdeckt ist.
Da der Handschuh wendbar ist, hat das Endstück zwei entgegengesetzte Befestigungs-
nasen. Vor dem ersten Gebrauch muß die nicht benötigte, nach oben zeigende Befes-
tigungsnase zugebogen werden (siehe Bild 2 und 3).

Sicherheitshandschuhe bestehen aus Edelstahlringgewebe, jeder Ring ist
einzeln verschweißt. Schon bei Verlust einzelner Ringe muß der Handschuh repariert wer-
den, um die Sicherheit zu gewährleisten. Die Reparatur darf nur durch Fachfirmen erfolgen,
die den Originalzustand wieder herstellen können. Bitte nutzen Sie unseren
ecomesh
®
-Service, der eine Qualitätserneuerung garantiert. Fortwährender Verlust
von Ringen an mehreren Stellen zeigt, dass das Ringgeflecht weitgehend geschwächt ist
(durch Abnutzung, Ermüdung und dergleichen). Der Handschuh muss dann aus dem
Verkehr gezogen werden. Ob eine Reparatur noch wirtschaftlich sinnvoll ist und aus
Sicherheitsgründen befürwortet werden kann, soll eine Fachfirma entscheiden.Ein
Reparaturset sollte stets bereit liegen! Ersatzbänder erhalten Sie bei Ihrem Fachhändler.

„T” Sicherheitshandschuhe haben ein Textilband aus Polypropylen. Es
ist sehr haltbar, reißfest, biegsam bei allen im Einsatzbereich üblichen Temperaturen, hitze- und
kältebeständig, widerstandsfähig gegenüber Wasch- und Desinfektionsmitteln, leichten Säuren
und Basen. Trotzdem können Veränderungen eintreten, die den Tragekomfort oder die
Gebrauchsfähigkeit herabsetzen (das Band wird härter oder weicher, spröder, klebrig etc.).
Sollte dies der Fall sein, geben Sie den Handschuh zum Austausch des Bandes zur Reparatur.
Die maximale Reinigungstemperatur von 75°C sollte nicht überschritten werden.

„E”, „D”, „DC” und „M” Sicherheitshandschuhe haben ein Band aus
Metallringgewebe. Das Band ist sehr haltbar, reißfest, flexibel bei allen im Einsatzbereich
üblichen Temperaturen, hitze- und kältebeständig, widerstandsfähig gegenüber Wasch-
und Desinfektionsmitteln, leichten Säuren und Basen. Sollte am Verschluß oder den
Einhängeringen ein Defekt festgestellt werden, muss der Handschuh repariert werden. Die
maximale Reinigungstemperatur von 75°C sollte nicht überschritten werden.
Instandhaltung und Reinigung:
Reinigung:

Sicherheitshandschuhe müssen nach jedem Gebrauch komplett einsch-
ließlich Band gereinigt werden. Wenn keine besondere Handschuhwaschmaschine zur
Verfügung steht, empfehlen wir die Reinigung mit warmem Wasser, ca. 50 °C, unter Zusatz

von handelsüblichen Reinigungsmitteln. Handschuhe und Band sollen dabei kräftig abge-
bürstet werden. Nach dem Trocknen muss der Schutzhandschuh mit einem in der Nah-
rungsmittelindustrie üblichen Desinfektionsmittel behandelt werden. Die Lagerung sollte
möglichst hängend in einem speziellen Aufbewahrungsschrank erfolgen.

Sicherheitshandschuhe müssen bei jeder Reinigung auf eventuelle Fehler
am Band oder Löcher im Gewebe kontrolliert werden. Ebenso ist das Gewebe auf ge-
schwächte Gewebeteile zu überprüfen. Handschuhe mit schadhaftem oder geschwächtem
Ringgewebe dürfen nicht mehr verwendet und müssen zur Reparatur ausgemustert werden.

Sicherheitshandschuhe sind ein Qualitätsprodukt. Trotzdem können
chemische Verbindungen, Reinigungsmittel, Fettsäuren den gebotenen Schutz herabset-
zen. Auch Verschleiß, Alterung und Beschädigungen können den bestimmungsgemäßen
Gebrauch beeinflussen. Im Zweifelsfall geben Sie den Handschuh zu einer Überprüfung an
eine Fachfirma.
Diese Sicherheitshandschuhe sind ein prüfpflichtiges Sicherheits-
produkt! Sie dürfen ausschließlich in der gelieferten Originalform
verwendet werden.

Bei Beanstandungen sind wir nur verpflichtet, fehlerhafte Produkte zu ersetzen oder zu
reparieren.

einer fest angebrachten Plakette, womit eine nahtlose Rückverfolgung möglich ist. Diese
Plakette ist Garantiebestandteil und darf keinesfalls entfernt werden.
Für die Schweißstellen des Ringgewebes übernehmen wir eine Garantie von 2 Jahren.
Löcher im Gewebe, die ohne äußere Einwirkung entstehen, werden kostenlos repariert.
Während der Arbeit dürfen nur einwandfreie Sicherheitshandschuhe eingesetzt werden.
Ausschließlich der Käufer oder Benutzer ist für den fachgerechten Einsatz der
Sicherheitshandschuhe verantwortlich. Eine weitergehende Haftung oder Garantie als oben

safety gloves protect against puncture- and cut-wounds caused by
hand-held knives and similar tools, in particular for boning, triggering and dissolving of
meat, cutting of food, processing of leather, textiles or plastics and similar materials
(EN1082-1: 1996).

„E”, „D”, „DC” und „M” safety gloves protect you even when working
with electrically or pneumatically driven knives, making gentle contact with the cutter, such
as skinners, defrosters, band knives or the likes, whose edges are smooth or slightly wavy
(EN14328: 2005).
When using hand knives and similar tools,
ecomesh

safety gloves protect only the
parts of the hand and the arms from injuries caused by punctures and cuts that are covered
by the ring fabric. Depending on the requirements of the workplace hazard analysis, more
extensive protective measures e. g. the wearing of a stab protection apron, may be required.
If other body parts are to be protected against cuts or puncture wounds, it is necessary to
wear additional personal protective equipment.

may have a sensitising effect or cause allergic reactions.
The products are approved for persons over 14 years old.

safety gloves offer no protection during work with mecha-
nically operated knives or knife blades, which are serrated. Also, they are
not approved for using with saws and similar tools, when working on skin-
ners, cutters etc., as well as working with machines and devices that
could trap the metal ring fabric or glove parts. Please read the operating
instructions of the relevant machine or device.

safety gloves are made of stainless steel. Therefore, avoid
working close to power lines that carry electrical voltage, as well as working
on electrical systems.

Attention: Deviating from the European standard EN 1082-1: 1996 which requires a coloured
marking, the size marking of the

safety gloves may also be affixed on a pla-

Size Selection
The correct size must not be too small, because the ring fabric is not elastic. When the hand
is open, therefore, the material must protrude on the finger, which is required for unhinde-
red movement.

the ring tissue may get caught by the movable machine parts.
Adjusting the Gloves

„T” safety gloves can only be worn on the designated hand. The gloves
are factory delivered to be worn on the left hand. For right hand, the addition 'Right' must
be specified when ordering.

„E”, „D”, „DC” and „M” safety gloves can be worn either on the right
or on the left hand. The gloves are delivered for left hand wear; the gloves can be easily tur-
ned for wearing on the right hand.
Turn from left to right hand wear:
1. Turn the glove inside out.
Only for stab wound protection gloves with cuff:
2. Pull the wristband out through the slot.
3. If necessary, bend the waveband reinforcements straight.

„T” safety gloves have a polypropylene textile wristband strap that is
adjustable in length but not interchangeable. The glove is factory delivered for right-handed
use, i.e. to be worn on the left hand.
For right hand, the addition 'Right' must be specified when ordering.
The length of the wristband can be adjusted with the press stud. Overhanging wristband
strap can be easily shortened, ideal length: 25 mm. The end of the tape should be sealed

with a little heat after shortening (e.g. by using a lighter).

„E”, „D”, „DC” and „M” full metal safety gloves have a wristband made
of metal ring fabric. The end piece of the wristband strap is hooked into the corresponding
fastening rings (see Figure 1) and must firmly engage.
When closing the wrist band, it is imperative to ensure that the slot is
covered by the band.
Because the glove is reversible, the end piece has two attachment lugs in opposite position.
Before the first use, the unnecessary, upwardly pointing fastener nose must be bent (see
Figs. 2 and 3).

safety gloves must be inspected for any defects in
the belt or holes in the fabric. Likewise, the fabric should be checked for weakened spots. Gloves

unds, detergents, fatty acids can reduce the required protection level. Also wear, aging and
damage can influence the intended use. If in doubt, give the glove to a specialist company

aux lames lisses ou légèrement ondulées (EN14328:2005).

également fixé sur une pastille dans la zone de la bande comme taille internationale ou en
anglais (voir Tableau ci-dessus).
Choix de la taille
La taille choisie ne doit pas être trop petite car la cotte de mailles n’est pas élastique. Ainsi,
il doit y avoir un excédent de matière sur le doigt lorsque la main est ouverte, cet excédent
est nécessaire pour la liberté de mouvement.
En fonction des exigences d’une analyse des risques sur le poste de travail, d’autres mesu-
res de protection plus complètes peuvent être nécessaires. Les gants de sécurité
ecomesh
®
sont donc disponibles avec des revers en cotte de maille d’une longueur
de 8, 15, 19 et 21 cm et des manchettes pour les travaux exigeant une protection de tout
le bras jusqu’aux épaules.
Si d’autres parties du corps doivent être protégées des coupures et des coups de couteau, le
port d’autres équipements de protection individuels de sécurité est nécessaire.

Ajustement des gants

„T” ne peuvent être portés que sur la main prévue
à cet effet. Les gants sont prévus initialement pour être portés à la main gauche. La men-
tion "Droite" doit être ajoutée lors d’une commande pour la main droite.
Les gants de sécurité ecomesh
®
„E”, „D”, „DC” et „M” peuvent être portés au
choix sur la main droite ou la main gauche. Les gants sont fournis pour la main gauche,
les gants peuvent être retournés pour être portés de la main droite.
Retourner de la main gauche à la main droite:
1. Retournez le gant de l’intérieur vers l’extérieur.
Seulement les gants anti-coups de couteau avec revers:
2. Tirez le bracelet par la fente vers l’extérieur.

„T” ont un bracelet textile en propylène réglable en
longueur mais non remplaçable. Le gant est fourni en standard pour les droitiers, c’est-à-

dire qu’ils doivent être portés sur la main gauche.
La mention "Droite" doit être ajoutée lors d’une commande pour la main droite.
La boucle à pression peut être ajustée à la longueur de bracelet. L’excédent de bracelet peut
être facilement raccourci, longueur idéale : 25 mm. L’extrémité du bracelet peut être scellée
à faible température (exemple : briquet).
Les gants de sécurité métalliques
ecomesh
®
„E”, „D”, „DC” et „M” ont un bracelet
en cotte de mailles. L’extrémité du bracelet est accrochée dans les bagues de fixation cor-
respondantes (v. Fig. 1) et doit se trouver solidement encliquetée.
Lors de la fermeture du bracelet, il faut obligatoirement veiller à ce que
la fente soit cachée par le bracelet.
Le gant pouvant être retourné, l’embout dispose de deux nez de fixation opposés. Avant la
première utilisation, le nez de fixation non nécessaire orienté vers le haut doit être replié (voir
figure 2 et 3).
