Ecofan® Operating Instructions
TheEcofanisdesignedtobeusedonfreestandingwoodstoveswithnormalsurface
temperaturesof185°F-650°F(85°C-345°C).Temperaturesabove650°F(345°C)may
damageyourEcofan.RelocateyourEcofantoacoolerspotonyourstoveifthesurface
temperatureexceeds650°F(345°C).Goodwoodstovesafetypracticeincludesusinga
stovethermometer.
Safety
• EnsuretheEcofanhandleisuprightbeforeplacingonstove.
• Whileinuse,thebaseoftheEcofanisveryhot.DO NOT TOUCH! When
repositioningyourEcofanalwaysdosobythehandle.
Getting the Most From Your Ecofan®
Foroptimumperformance,placementonthestove’s
surfaceiscritical.BesuretopositiontheEcofanonthe
stovetopsothatcoolairwillbedrawnoverthecooling
ns.TheEcofanshouldnotbeuseddirectlyinfrontofthe
stovepipeoratthefrontofthestove.
NOTE: Overheating will reduce the Ecofan’s
effectiveness and may damage the thermoelectric module
and void the warranty. Remove the Ecofan from stove if
temperature exceeds 650°F (345°C).
