Assembling your 16 Inch Pedestal fan
Take the two base cross segments (18) and push the base end caps (19) into the ends and then
cross them over together.
Remove the four screws from the base and attach the lower base pole (15) to the base using a
screwdriver (not supplied).
Unscrew and remove the pole clamp (14) and slide the screw cover (16) down over the
adjustable and lower base pole (13 & 15) until it is in place over the screws.
Replace the pole clamp (14) and at the same time raise the adjustable pole (13). Attach the fan
assembly on top of the pole and tighten the pole retaining screw (12).
NOTE: the adjustable pole (13) can sometimes slip inside the lower base pole (15) during transit.
Remove the Rear Guard Central Fixing (4) nut. Place the rear guard (5) onto the motor housing (7)
and replace the Rear Guard Central Fixing (4) nut by screwing back on clockwise.
Take the fan blade (3) and slide it onto the motor spindle (9) ensuring that notches on the rear
line up with the splines on the shaft. Screw on the Blade Retaining Nut (10) in an anticlockwise
direction.
Remove the guard nut & screw (2) from the front guard (1).
Turn the five clips around the outside edge of the front guard outwards.
Hang the front guard (1) over the top of the rear guard (5) and push the clips inwards until the
front guard is fastened to the rear guard.
Finally fit the nut and screw (2) through the hole in the bottom edge of the front guard arrowed
and tighten with a screwdriver.
Operating Instructions
Place the fan into the desired position and ensure that it is level.
Press the ‘0’ button to ensure the fan is in the off mode.
The fan can be tilted vertically up and down by moving the guard assembly up and down to the
desired position. NOTE: do not adjust the fan while it is connected to the mains.
Slacken the pole clamp (14) and adjust the fan to the desired height, tighten the pole clamp once
the desired height is set.
Insert the mains plug into the nearest socket, press 1 for low speed, 2 for medium speed or 3 for
high speed. Press the ‘0’ button to switch the fan off.

Oscillation mode
Press the oscillation control (8) to enable the fan to oscillate from side to side. Pull the control up
to stop oscillation.
Care and Use of your Fan
Ensure that the fan is not connected to the mains supply before cleaning.
Wipe the fan body clean with a clean, soft damp cloth.
Remove the Guard assemblies and pull off the fan blade then wash it in warm soapy water to
clean, dry immediately. Ensure the guards and fan blade are thoroughly dry before reassembling.
Do not immerse the fan or its cord in water or any other liquid.

Montaje de su ventilador de pedestal de 16 pulgadas
Tome los dos segmentos transversales de la base (18) y empuje las tapas de los extremos de la
base (19) en los extremos y luego crúcelas juntas.
Retire los cuatro tornillos de la base y fije el tubo inferior de la base (15) a la base con un
destornillador (no incluido).
Destornille y retire la abrazadera del tubo (14) y deslice la cubierta de tornillos (16) hacia abajo
sobre el tubo ajustable y el tubo inferior (13 y 15) hasta que quede en su lugar sobre los tornillos.
Vuelva a colocar la abrazadera del tubo (14) y al mismo tiempo levante el tubo ajustable (13).
Coloque el ensamblaje del ventilador en la parte superior del poste y apriete el tornillo de
retención del tubo (12).
NOTA: el tubo ajustable (13) a veces puede deslizarse dentro del tubo inferior (15) durante el
tránsito.
Retire la tuerca de fijación central (4) de la rejilla trasera. Coloque la rejilla trasera (5) en la
carcasa del motor (7) y vuelva a colocar la tuerca de fijación central de la rejilla trasera (4)
atornillando nuevamente hacia la derecha.
Tome la hoja del ventilador (3) y deslícela en el eje del motor (9) asegurándose de que las
muescas en la parte posterior se alineen con las estrías en el eje. Enrosque la tuerca de retención
de la hoja (10) en sentido antihorario.
Retire la tuerca de protección y el tornillo (2) de la rejilla frontal (1).
Gire los cinco clips alrededor del borde exterior de la rejilla frontal hacia afuera.
Cuelgue la rejilla delantera (1) sobre la parte superior de la rejilla trasera (5) y empuje los clips
hacia adentro hasta que la rejilla frontal quede sujeta la rejilla trasera.
Finalmente, coloque la tuerca y el tornillo (2) a través del orificio en el borde inferior de la rejilla
delantera con la flecha y apriete con un destornillador.
Instrucciones de Operación
Coloque el ventilador en la posición deseada y asegúrese de que esté nivelado.
Presione el botón ‘0’ para asegurarse de que el ventilador esté en modo apagado.
El ventilador se puede inclinar verticalmente hacia arriba y hacia abajo moviendo el conjunto de
rejillas hacia arriba y hacia abajo hasta la posición deseada. NOTA: no ajuste el ventilador
mientras esté conectado a la red eléctrica.
Afloje la abrazadera del tubo (14) y ajuste el ventilador a la altura deseada, apriete la abrazadera
del tubo una vez que se haya establecido la altura deseada.
Inserte el enchufe de alimentación en la toma más cercana, presione 1 para velocidad baja, 2
para velocidad media o 3 para velocidad alta. Presione el botón ‘0’ para apagar el ventilador.
Modo de oscilación
Presione el control de oscilación (8) para permitir que el ventilador oscile de lado a lado. Tire del
control hacia arriba para detener la oscilación.
Uso y Cuidado de su ventilador
Asegúrese de que el ventilador no esté conectado a la red eléctrica antes de limpiarlo.
Limpie el cuerpo del ventilador con un paño limpio y suave y húmedo.
Retire los conjuntos de protección y saque la hoja del ventilador, luego lávela con agua tibia y
jabón para limpiarla y séquela inmediatamente. Asegúrese de que las rejillas y la hoja del
ventilador estén completamente secas antes de volver a montarlas.
No sumerja el ventilador o su cable en agua ni en ningún otro líquido.
