SLIMLINE WATER BUTT
INSTALLATION GUIDE
RAINWATER DIVERTERS MUST BE
INSTALLED BELOW THE BOTTOM
OF THE BOWL OF THE PLANTER.
a. Position the water butt a maximum
of 500mm from the rainwater down-
pipe.
b. Using a 32mm hole-saw or spade
bit, cut a hole just below the base of
the planter bowl and insert the rubber
seal.
c. Fit the rainwater diverter to the
downpipe according to the manufac-
turer’s installation instructions.
d. Trim the connecting pipe if
required, and push one end on to the
diverter. Push the other end through
the seal tted onto the tank.
Lubricate if necessary.
e. If, when xing a tap to the raised
outlet, the tap does not face down-
wards, use another layer of PTFE and
try again. Do not use too much tape
as this may damage the threaded out-
let. Hand tighten only; do not use a
spanner or wrench.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The Ecosure Slimline Water Butt Planter must be sited on a at, level base.
• When xing your tap or valve to the moulded outlets, use 4 or 5 layers of
PTFE tape and DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. Hand tighten only; do not use a
spanner or wrench.
• When using any power tools, be aware of others around you and wear suit-
able PPE (e.g. eye protectors and gloves).
