Battery Installation (Turning on the Recorder)
After you installed the battery, hold the recorder’s control button
pressed during 1-2 seconds. If the LED ashes three times, the re-
corder starts self testing that takes 5-10 seconds. (If the LED doesn’t
ash three times, the battery is uncharged or damaged.) Then the
recorder ashes the forth time and is ready for recording. Duration of
the last ash can be some dozens of seconds and depends on the
recorder’s memory capacity.
To estimate recording time of the recorder in different modes, use the
table (for alkaline battery).
Attention! Install a battery the same way as it is shown in Figure 2
(its positive terminal to the front side of the recorder); or the recorder
could be damaged.

To get these ratings, use the batteries of the known brand names.
Using zinc-air batteries, remember that they have restrictions:
- Operating temperature not low than 10 ْ C (50 F)
- If you removed the battery’s protective sticker, start using the bat-
tery (after activating, its shelf life is not longer than a month).
- To use fully this battery’s capacity, avoid modes with the high con-
sumption current (top part of the table)
Turning on/off Recording
The LED blinking sequences indicate a rechargeable battery status
and available memory. The rst sequence indicates a battery sta-
tus: one ash – fully charged, two ashes – enough for work, and
three ashes – should be changed as soon as possible. The second
blinking sequence indicates the amount of memory available: one
ash – 75-100%, two ashes -51-75%, three ashes – 25-50%, and
4 ashes – 1-25%.

Guarantee card
The manufacturer undertakes warranty repair liabilities for 1
year from the date of purchase, but no longer than 2 years
from the date of manufacture of the product (warranty does not
cover batteries). Paid repair is provided within recorder’s operation
lifetime (5 years). The manufacturer reserves the right to refuse in
repair after the expiration of recorder operation life.
Claims for guaranteed repairs are not accepted at:
• violating operation rules;
• mechanical damages;
• absence of Telesystems’ stamp on the present document.
All the questions concerned returning and exchanging the product
are to be solved in accordance with the Consumer Protection law.
