One Year Limited Warranty
Edifier warrants to the end user that all of its computer speaker systems are free from defects in material and
workmanship in the course of normal and reasonable use for a term of one year from the date of purchase.
This warranty is the exclusive and only warranty in effect relative to Edifier multimedia speaker systems and
any other warranties, either expressed or implied, are invalid. Neither Edifier nor any authorized Edifier
reseller is responsible for any incidental damages incurred in the use of the speakers. (This limitation of
incidental or consequential damage is not applicable where prohibited.)
Edifier obligation under this warranty does not apply to any defect, malfunction or failure as a result of misuse,
abuse, improper installation, use with faulty or improper equipment or the use of the speaker systems with any
equipment for which they were not intended.
The terms of this warranty apply only to speaker systems when such speakers are returned to the respective
authorized Edifier reseller where they were purchased.
Under the terms of this warranty the original consumer purchaser has certain legal rights and may have other
rights which vary worldwide.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read all the instructions herein. Please retain this manual safely for future reference.

Please adjust the volume control to a comfortable level to avoid damaging your hearing and the system.
WARNING
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK:
Do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture.
Do not use the speakers near water, and do not immerse them in any liquid or pour any liquid on them.
Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than
the other. The wider blade is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult
an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched
particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
For added protection during lightning storms, unplug the speakers from the electrical outlet and turn off the
computer.
Unplug this apparatus when unused for long periods of time.
Place the speakers away from all heat sources, such as heaters, stoves, and direct sunlight.
Do not block the openings in the speaker cabinets. Never push objects into speaker vents or slots. Prevent
risk of fire or electric shock hazards, and provide sufficient space around the speakers for proper ventilation.
Place the speakers in a stable location so that it will not fall causing damage to the speakers or bodily harm.
Unplug the speakers from the computer and from the electrical outlet before cleaning them with a damp cloth.
Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as the power-supply cord or
plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been
exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped. Refer all servicing to qualified
service personnel only.

The lightning flash with arrowhead inside the triangle, is intended to alert the user to the presence of un-insulated
dangerous voltage within the product's enclosure that may be of a sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of

Introduction of frontpanel
1:State indicator:
VOL LED is on , the system is in the stateof volume .
C LED is on ,the system is in the status of center volume fine-tuning.
F LED is on , the system is in the status of front Volume fine-tuning.
R LED is on , the system is in the status of surround volume fine-tuning.
SW LED is on ,the system is in the status of bass fine-tuning.

4: volume up key: increase the volume and the other volume.
5: volume down key: decrease the volume and the other volume.

6: MODE function key: change the adjusting status of the system; the system is in the status
of the volume adjusting when power supply is turned on ,at the same time the VOL indicator
is on; press the MODE key in turn the status indicator can circle by VOL-C-F-R-SW-VOL.
7: VOLUME indicator: display the volume from bottom to top , the volume is the most when the 5
LED are all on and the volume is the least when the 5 LED are off(the volume is in the middle
when the 3 LED are on that the system default.) EXPLAIN: the indicator have no change when
you adjust the other channel volume in the fine-tune state .

Inserting the batteries into the remote controller:
Insert two 7#(size AAA) batteries by matching the + and -on the batteries.
Note:
1 Do not leave the remote near an extremely hot or humid place.
2 When the remote no longer operates the player, replace all the batteries with new ones.
3 If you don`t use the remote for an extended period of time ,remove the batteries to avoid possible
damage from battery leakage and corrosion.

Connect the satellites
Connect the satellite speakers to the output splints on the back panel of the Sub-woofer. Please note to match
the color, the cord with red sign to the red output.
Connect the subwoofer to the Audio device
2 channel signal input by AUX port, output analog 5.1signals;
2 channel signal input by AUX port, output analog 2.1 signals;
5.1 channel audio signal input by FR/FL,SR/SL and C/SW;
Please make sure the infrared transmitter of the remote is pointing towards to the receiver area of the amplifier
front panel.
Please use remote within 7 meters (20ft.) from the Amplifier

No sound from any speakers:
Is there power to the system?
Ensure that your subwoofer is plugged securely into a working AC wall outlet and power indicator is on.
Ensure that the power switch on the subwoofer is on.
Are you receiving an Audio Signal?
Connect your speakers to an alternate audio source, such as portable CD player or walkman to determine
that your speakers are working.
Popping/Buzzing/Humming from the System:
Are your cable connections secure?
Ensure the input cable is snugly inserted into the input socket on the rear of the subwoofer.
Try plugging the system into a different AC wall outlet.
Note: Aslight low level of hum or vibration is normal as the subwoofer contains a transformer.
Distorted, Little, or No Sound in Oneor all Satellite Speakers:
Are your Soundcard Settings Properly Configured?
Ensure your computer has the latest soundcard drivers from the manufacturer.
Most computers contain a standard two-channel soundcard and will not require any adjustments to the
speaker configuration.
Adjust your computer`s internal volume settings for left-right balance.
Ensure that there are nicks, cuts, kinks in your input cable.
Jiggle the cables at the subwoofer input sockets whilst playing music through the system to detect a break in
the audio signal.
Adjust the master volume control whilst playing music through the system to determine whether the level of
distortion changes.
Determine if the problem persists in the same channel or moves to the opposite channel when the left and right
speaker connections and reversed.
No sound or weak bass from thesubwoofer:
Is the bass volume too low?
Adjust your computer`s internal treble and bass volume settings to mid-level.
TROUBLESHOOTING
3 Playing the audio device
Plug the power cord into the AC outlet and turn on the power switch, the system enter the status of adjusting
volume and start playing , the power indicator and VOL indicator is on, press the and key, the volume
can be increased or decreased (or turned off); press the MODE function key, the C indicator is ON and
VOL indicator is off, the system enter fine-tuning status of center, at the same time ,press the and
key ,the center volume can be adjusted imperceptibly ; Press the MODE key again, the F indicator is on,
the C indicator is off ,the system enter the status of front fine-tuning ,press and key ,the front
volume can be adjusted imperceptibly; Press the MODE key again, the R indicator is on, the F
indicator is off ,the system enter the status of surround fine-tuning ,press and key ,the surround
volume can be adjusted imperceptibly; Press the MODE key again, the SW indicator is on ,the R
indicator is off ,the system enter the status of bass fine-tuning ,press and key ,the bass volume can be
adjusted imperceptibly; when you press the MODE key again,the system return the status of volume ,the
system will circle according to the above order.
