OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
FILTER REPLACEMENT
SYSTEM SPECIFICATION

SETTING UP
1. Detach the FX225 from its packaging.
2. Lift off the filter lid and place gently on the ground.
3. With the filter package exposed remove all protective packaging.
4. Make sure all filters are centered then carefully replace lid.
5. The Unit is supplied with a 6 foot IEC detachable power cord
6. Plug the Unit into a 110/115 Single Phase 60HZ supply.
7. The Unit will take a few seconds to build up to speed on initial start up. This is
quite normal for the design of the Unit.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Push fit the 50mm flexi arms onto the connection on top of the unit.
2. The FX225 is capable of extracting the fume from 2 x 50mm Articulated or Stay
Put Arms.
3. The Unit is designed for continuous running, the suction performance will
deteriorate as the filters become bocked. Change pre-filter (XF2501) when
significant suction loss is noticed. Main Filter (XF2502 or XF2503) will need to
be replaced when chnaging the pre-filter does not restore proper performance.

TO REPLACE FILTERS
Filter Access.
1. Unplug FX225 from main power supply.
2. Lift off Filter lid clear of the filter package and place on a safe surface.
3. Lift out the pre-filter pad which is recessed into the combined filter enclosure.
4. Replace with a new pre-filter.(XF2501)
5. Replace lid and start up Unit.
7. Start up machine and run as normal.
FILTER REPLACEMENT
There are two separate Filters comprising from the base upwards.
(a) Combined Filter - Part Number XF2502
(b) Pre-Filter - Part Number XF2501
It may only be necessary to replace the Pre-Filter.
