WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSVORSCHRI TEN
Lesen Sie aufmerksam die Gebrauchsanleitung, bevor Sie Ihr Gerät benutzen, und befolgen Sie
immer die Sicherheitsvorschriften und die Gebrauchsanweisung.
Wichtig: Personen (einschlie lich Kinder), die aufgrund ihrer physischen, sensorischen oder
geistigen Fähigkeiten oder ihrer Unerfahrenheit oder Unkenntnis nicht in der Lage sind, das
Gerät sicher zu benutzen, sollten dieses Gerät nicht ohne Aufsicht oder Anweisung durch eine

Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur zu Haushaltszwecken, wie in der Bedienungsanleitung
angegeben.
Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals ins Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten, weder zum Reinigen,
noch zu einem anderen Zweck. Geben Sie das Gerät niemals in die Spülmaschine.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe einer Wärmequelle. Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht
auf heiße Flächen (z.B. Herdplatten) oder in die Nähe von offenen Flammen –
Brandgefahr!
Entfernen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, und lassen Sie das Gerät erkalten, bevor Sie
es reinigen, befüllen oder wegräumen.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien und bewahren Sie es an einem trockenen Platz auf.
Benutzen Sie nur Zubehör, welches vom Lieferanten empfohlen wurde. Anderes Zubehör
stellt eine Gefahr für den Benutzer dar und das Gerät könnte dadurch beschädigt
werden.
Ziehen Sie niemals an der Anschlussleitung, um das Gerät zu bewegen. Stellen Sie das
Gerät auf einen Tisch oder auf eine ebene Fläche damit es nicht umfällt. Achten Sie
darauf, dass die Anschlussleitung nicht irgendwo hängen bleibt und dies zum Fall des
Gerätes führen könnte. Wickeln Sie die Anschlussleitung nicht um das Gerät oder knicken
Sie diese nicht.
Berühren Sie nicht die heißen Teile des Gerätes. Fassen Sie nur die Kunststoffteile an oder
heben Sie die Kanne mit Hilfe des Griffes hoch.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die heißen Teile des Gerätes nicht mit leicht entflammbarem
Material, wie Gardinen, Tischdecken, usw. in Berührung kommen. Brandgefahr!
Benutzen Sie ausschließlich kaltes oder lauwarmes (Trink-)Wasser. Benutzen Sie kein Wasser
aus Badewannen, Waschbecken oder anderen Behältern.
Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie sich nicht verbrühen, da beim Kochvorgang Dampf aus dem
Kaffeefilter austritt.
Benutzen Sie zum Entkalken ausschließlich Essig oder hierfür vorgesehene Produkte.
Benutzen Sie niemals Ammoniak oder andere Produkte, die Ihrer Gesundheit schaden
könnten.
Schalten Sie Ihren Kaffeeautomaten nicht an, ohne Wasser eingefüllt zu haben.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur, wenn die Thermokanne nicht beschädigt ist. Benutzen Sie die
Thermokanne nur für dieses Gerät. Wichtig: Stellen Sie die Thermokanne nie in die



Mikrowelle um den Kaffee aufzuwärmen, und geben Sie sie auch nicht in die
Spülmaschine um sie zu reinigen, da ansonsten Ihr Garantieanspruch erlischt. Wir
übernehmen keine Haftung für Schäden infolge des Nichtbeachtens dieser Vorschriften.
Geben Sie ausschließlich gemahlenen Kaffee in den Filter.
Vergessen Sie niemals, dass der von der Maschine zubereitete Kaffee heiß ist. Bewegen Sie
die gefüllte Kanne nur mit Sorgfalt um Spritzer zu vermeiden.
Ziehen Sie stets nach Gebrauch den Stecker aus der Steckdose!
(*) Fachmann: anerkannter Kundendienst des Lieferanten oder des Importeurs, der für
derartige Reparaturen zuständig ist. Für eventuelle Reparaturen wenden Sie sich bitte an
diesen Kundendienst.
ANWENDUNGSBEREICH/TÄTIGKEITSBEREICH
•Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur zu Haushaltszwecken, wie in der Bedienungsanleitung
angegeben.
•Dieses Gerät ist bestimmt für Haushaltsanwendungen und ähnliche Nutzanwendungen,
die von Laien in Läden, in gewerblichen Betrieben und in der Landwirtschaft verwendet
werden.
ERSTE INBETRIEBNAHME
•Vor der ersten Kaffeezubereitung führen Sie bitte 2-3 Kochvorgänge mit frischem Wasser
durch (ohne Kaffeepulver).
•Ist das Wasser durchgelaufen, schalten Sie das Gerät ab und wiederholen den Vorgang
nach ca. 5 Minuten mit frischem Wasser.
KA EEZUBEREITUNG
ENTNEHMEN SIE DEN DECKEL VON DER KANNE, WENN SIE DAS GERÄT IN BETRIEB NEHMEN.
•Öffnen Sie den Deckel des Wassertanks.
•Füllen Sie die gewünschte Wassermenge mittels der Thermokanne in den Wassertank.
Überfüllen sie den Wassertank nicht, indem Sie die Maximummarkierung auf dem
Wassertank nicht überschreiten. Die Anzahl der Tassen lesen Sie an der Wasserstandskala
ab.
•Bringen Sie den Filterträger in die Kaffeemaschine ein. Fügen Sie einen Papierfilter
(Größe 4) in den Filterträger ein und befüllen Sie ihn mit der gewünschten Kaffeemenge
(pro Tasse 1 Teelöffel, entspricht ca. 6g). HINWEIS: Falten Sie den unteren und seitlichen
Prägerand des Papierfilters so um, dass er sich optimal der Größe des Filterträgers anpasst.
•Vergessen Sie nicht den Deckel des Wassertanks zu schließen und die Kanne (ohne Deckel)
auf die Platte zu stellen bevor Sie das Gerät einschalten.
•Drücken Sie auf den Schalter um das Gerät anzuschalten. Die Kontrollleuchte des
Schalters geht an, und zeigt, dass das Gerät in Betrieb ist.
•Eine Tropf-Stoppautomatik verhindert, dass Kaffee auf die Platte tropft wenn die Kanne
entfernt wird; der Tropf-Stopp wird wieder geöffnet, wenn Sie die Kanne auf die Platte
zurückstellen.
•Nach Beendigung des Brühvorganges warten Sie, bis der Filter leergelaufen ist bevor Sie
die Kanne entfernen.
•Warten Sie, bis der Kaffee völlig durchgelaufen ist und der Filter leergelaufen ist. Schalten
Sie dann das Gerät aus, indem Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter auf Stellung "0" setzen, und ziehen
Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose.
•Entfernen Sie die Kanne und schrauben Sie den Deckel auf die Kanne. Mit der
Thermokanne können Sie den Kaffee eine geraume Zeit warm halten.



•m den Kaffee auszugießen, entnehmen Sie vollständig den Deckel von der
Thermokanne.
ENTKALKUNG UND REINIGUNG
•Wenn Sie bemerken, dass der Brühvorgang länger als normal dauert, sollten Sie den
Kaffeeautomat entkalken. Warten Sie nicht, bis es noch schlimmer wird. Wie oft Sie die
Kaffeemaschine entkalken müssen, hängt von der Häufigkeit des Gebrauches und der
Kalkmenge im Wasser ab und ist daher von Benutzer zu Benutzer unterschiedlich.
•Eine regelmäßige Entkalkung führt zur Verlängerung der Lebensdauer des Gerätes.
Verwenden Sie hierzu nur handelsübliche Entkalkungsmittel und beachten Sie die
entsprechenden Gebrauchsanweisungen. Danach mit klarem Wasser zweimal ohne
Kaffeemehl nachspülen (2 Kochvorgänge) – nicht entkalkte Geräte sind von der Garantie
ausgeschlossen.
•Stellen Sie niemals das Gerät oder das Zubehör in die Spülmaschine. Reinigen Sie die
Kaffeekanne mit Seifenwasser.
•Die Plastikteile wischen Sie am besten mit einem feuchten Tuch ab.
UMWELTSCHUTZ – RICHTLINIE 2002/96/EG
Zum Schutz unserer mwelt und unserer Gesundheit sind Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte nach
bestimmten Regeln zu entsorgen. Dies fordert den Einsatz sowohl des Herstellers bzw.
Lieferanten als auch des Verbrauchers.
Aus diesem Grund darf dieses Gerät, wie das Symbol auf dem Typenschild bzw. auf der
Verpackung zeigt, nicht in den unsortierten Restmüll gegeben werden. Der Verbraucher hat
das Recht, dieses Gerät kostenfrei über kommunale Sammelstellen zu entsorgen; von dort aus
wird die spezifische Behandlung, Verwertung bzw. das Recycling gem. den Erfordernissen der
Richtlinie sichergestellt.
Gewährleistungs- und Garantiebedingungen
Für unsere Produkte gelten die gesetzlichen Bestimmungen für Gewährleistungsansprüche.
Innerhalb dieser Zeit werden Mängel, welche auf Material- oder Herstellungsfehlern beruhen,
behoben. Davon ausgeschlossen sind Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen Teilen, Schäden, die
durch übermäßige Beanspruchung, unsachgemäße Behandlung und Wartung sowie durch
Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchsanweisung entstehen, Schäden, welche durch Verschleiß oder
infolge normaler Abnützung entstanden sind. Ebenso weisen wir darauf hin, dass die
Gewährleistung bei Fremdeingriff erlischt. Hierbei wird der Verkäufer im Fall eines Schadens
keine Haftung übernehmen.
Sollten Sie einen Mangel feststellen, geben Sie bitte das vollständige Gerät an ihren Händler
bzw. Verkaufsstelle. Gewährleistungsansprüche gelten nur in Verbindung mit dem zugehörigen
Kassenbon bzw. der Kopie einer eventuellen Reparaturrechnung, die bei Inanspruchnahme
der Serviceleistung unbedingt mit vorzulegen sind/ist.
Sie haben auch die Möglichkeit, das gesäuberte Gerät mit einer kurzen, gut lesbaren
Fehlerbeschreibung zusammen mit dem Kassenbon in einer frankierten Sendung an unseren
Kundendienst in unserer Firma in Bad Blankenburg zu senden (Tel. [phone] / 70268).
Defekte Zubehörteile führen nicht zum mtausch des Gerätes, sondern werden kostenlos im
Austausch zugesandt. In diesem Fall bitte nicht das Gerät einschicken, sondern nur das defekte
Zubehörteil bestellen! Glasbruchschäden sind grundsätzlich kostenpflichtig.



IMPORTANT SA EGUARDS
Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance, and always follow the
safety and operating instructions.
Important: People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a safe way,
due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of experience or knowledge,
must never use the appliance except if they are supervised by a person responsible for their
safety or if they previously received instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance.
Close supervision is necessary to prevent children from using the appliance as a toy.
Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the rating plate of the
appliance.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
From time to time check the appliance for damages. Never use it if the appliance or its
cord shows any signs of damage but have it repaired by a competent qualified
electrician (*). Should the cord be damaged, it must be replaced by a competent
qualified electrician (*).
Make sure the power cord does not come into contact with the hot parts of the
appliance.
Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these
instructions.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever.
Never place it into the dishwasher.
Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
Before cleaning, refilling, or storing always unplug the appliance from the power supply
and let it cool down.
Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
Never use accessories that are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute
a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.
Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Stand the appliance on a stable surface
so that it cannot fall. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the
cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
Never touch the hot parts of the appliance, only touch the plastic parts and take the
thermos flask by the handle.
Make sure the appliance never comes into contact with inflammable materials such as
curtains, textiles... when it is in use as they might catch fire.
Only use fresh cold or lukewarm drinkable water. Never use water coming from a bathtub
or wash stand or other containers.
When removing lime scale, only use a special product for the removal of lime scale. Never
use ammonia or any other substance that might damage your health.
Never operate the appliance without water.
Be careful not to get burned by the steam evaporating from the coffee filter or when
opening the thermos flask.
Do not use the appliance if the thermos flask is damaged. se the thermos flask only for
this appliance.
Important: your thermos flask cannot be put in the microwave oven to warm up the
coffee or in the dishwasher to clean it. We shall not be held responsible for any damages
caused by the non-observance of these instructions.
Only put ground coffee in the filter.
Never forget that the coffee coming out of the appliance is very hot. Only move the
thermos flask very carefully to avoid splashing.
Always unplug the appliance after use!



(*) Competent qualified electrician: after-sales department of the producer or importer or any
person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to
avoid all danger. In case of need you should return the appliance to this electrician.
IELD O APPLICATION/O OPERATION
•se the appliance for domestic purposes only and in the way indicated in these
instructions.
•This appliance is intended to be used for domestic applications and similar applications
such as:
Kitchen corners reserved for personnel in shops, offices and other professional
environments.
Farms.
The use by clients of hotels, motels and other environments with a residential
character.
Environments of the “bed and breakfast” type.
INITIAL OPERATION
•For a perfect taste, carry out 2 or 3 boil-processes with fresh water (without coffee). These
boil-processes are absolutely necessary.
•Once all the water has passed through, switch the appliance off and let it cool down
during 5 minutes. Then repeat the process with fresh water.
PREPARATION O CO EE
WHEN YOU OPERATE YOUR APPLIANCE, MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT PUT THE LID ON THE THERMOS
LASK.
•Open the lid of the water tank.
•sing the thermos flask, pour the desired amount of water into the water tank. Make sure
not to overfill by respecting the maximum level indicated on the water tank.
•Place the filter holder into the coffee maker. Insert a paper filter (size 4) in the filter holder
and add the desired quantity of ground coffee (1 teaspoon per cup, approximately 6g).
Please note: fold the bottom and the side edges of the paper filter in such a way that it fits
perfectly in the filter holder.
•Never forget to close the lid of the water tank and to place the carafe without its lid on
the plate before switching on your coffee maker.
•Press the “power” button to switch on the coffee maker. The pilot light of the switch will be
illuminated, indicating that your appliance is working.
•When you remove the jug from the appliance, a non-drip valve will automatically operate
to stop any drops of coffee dripping. Replacement of the carafe automatically opens the
non-drip valve and allows remaining coffee to filter through into the jug.
•Wait until the brewing process is finished and the filter has run empty before removing the
jug.
•Wait for the coffee to be brewed and for the filter to be empty. Switch off the appliance
by putting the ON/OFF switch on “0” and unplug the appliance.
•Take off the thermos flask and screw the lid on the thermos. The thermos flask allows you to
keep the coffee warm for some time.
•To pour coffee, you have to remove the lid of the thermos flask.



DECALCI ICATION AND CLEANING
•When you notice that the coffee making process is longer than it should be, it is probably
time to decalcify the appliance. Do not wait until the situation gets worse. The
decalcifying frequency depends on the amount of lime in the water and therefore can
be different from family to family. Therefore it is important to pay attention to this.
•We advise you to descale the coffee maker to prolong its life span. For descaling only use
products especially made for the descaling of coffee makers and follow their instruction
manual. Then rinse the appliance twice with fresh water, without coffee powder.
Guarantee claims will not be accepted for appliances that have not been descaled.
•Never use a dishwasher to clean the appliance or its accessories. Just clean the thermos
flask in soapsuds.
•To clean the plastic parts of the appliance, use a damp, non-abrasive cloth.
PROTECTION O THE ENVIRONMENT – DIRECTIVE 2002/96/EC
In order to preserve our environment and protect human health, the waste electrical and
electronic equipment should be disposed of in accordance with specific rules with the
implication of both suppliers and users. For this reason, as indicated by the symbol on the
rating label or on the packaging, your appliance should not be disposed of as unsorted
municipal waste. The user has the right to bring it free of charge to a municipal collection point
performing waste recovery by means of reuse, recycling or use for other applications in
accordance with the directive.
TERMS O GUARANTEE
For our products, the legal terms concerning claims under guarantee are valid. During the
legal period, all material and manufacturing defects are covered. No claims will be accepted
for broken accessories, defects resulting from inappropriate use or care, excessive wear due to
intensive use, wrong use due to the non-observance of the instruction manual, or normal wear
and tear. No guarantee claims will be accepted if the appliance has been modified or if
attempts have been made to repair the appliance. In such case, the vendor cannot be held
responsible in case of accidents.
If you detect a defect, please contact your vendor or shop and return your complete
appliance in its original packaging together with the receipt. Claims under guarantee will only
be valid if the receipt or a copy of a repair bill is handed over with the appliance that needs
repair.

AVANT LA PREMIERE UTILISATION
•Lorsque vous utilisez votre appareil pour la première fois, versez de l’eau dans le réservoir
(sans mettre de café) et mettez l'appareil en fonctionnement. Cette opération est
nécessaire et ne doit pas être délaissée.
•Dès que l’eau est passée, éteignez l’appareil et répétez cette opération 2 fois
successivement en respectant un temps de refroidissement de 5 minutes minimum entre
chaque opération.
POUR AIRE LE CA E
LORSQUE VOUS AITES ONCTIONNER VOTRE APPAREIL, VEILLEZ A NE PAS METTRE LE COUVERCLE
SUR LA VERSEUSE.
•Soulevez le couvercle du réservoir.
•Versez la quantité d’eau désirée dans le réservoir en utilisant la verseuse. Ne dépassez pas
la valeur maximale indiquée car le café déborderait de la verseuse.
•Placez le porte-filtre dans la cafetière. Mettez un filtre papier (taille 4) dans le porte-filtre et
remplissez-le avec la quantité de café moulu désirée (une cuillère à café par tasse, plus
ou moins 6 g). Attention: pliez le fond et les bords du filtre papier de façon à ce qu’il
s’insère parfaitement dans le porte-filtre.
•N’oubliez jamais de refermer le couvercle du réservoir et de placer la verseuse (sans le
couvercle) sur la plaque avant de mettre l’appareil en marche.
•Ensuite, allumez la cafetière à l’aide de l’interrupteur. Le témoin lumineux de l'interrupteur
s’allumera vous indiquant que votre appareil est en fonctionnement.
•Lorsque vous retirez la verseuse de l’appareil, une valve anti-gouttes se ferme
automatiquement pour éviter que toute goutte de café ne tombe. La remise en place de
la verseuse ouvre automatiquement le système anti-gouttes et permet au café restant
dans le filtre de passer dans la verseuse.



•Lorsque le réservoir d’eau est vide, attendez que le café cesse de couler avant de retirer
la verseuse.
•Attendez que le café soit passé et que le filtre se soit vidé. Eteignez l’appareil en mettant
l’interrupteur ON/OFF en position "0" et débranchez-le.
•Retirez la verseuse, vissez le couvercle sur la verseuse. La verseuse isolante vous permet de
maintenir le café au chaud pendant un certain temps.
•Pour verser le café il est nécessaire de dévisser et enlever le couvercle de la verseuse
isolante.
DETARTRAGE ET NETTOYAGE
•Lorsque vous constatez une augmentation du temps de passage du café, effectuez un
détartrage complet de votre appareil et n’attendez surtout pas que la situation
s’aggrave. La fréquence de détartrage est fonction de la dureté de l’eau et varie par
conséquent selon les foyers. Il est par conséquent important de porter une attention
particulière au phénomène d’entartrage. L’entretien de votre cafetière est important
pour sa durée de vie. Pour cela, utilisez un détartrant pour cafetières électriques que vous
trouverez dans le commerce et conformez-vous à son mode d’emploi. Le remplacement
d’une résistance entartrée ne sera pas pris en compte dans le cadre de la garantie.
•Nous vous conseillons de détartrer votre appareil régulièrement pour le garder en bon
état. Pour cela, utilisez un détartrant pour cafetières électriques que vous trouverez dans
le commerce et conformez-vous à son mode d’emploi. Rincez ensuite l'appareil deux fois
à l'eau claire, sans café. n appareil qui n'a pas été détartré ne sera pas couvert par la
garantie.
•Ne mettez aucune partie de votre cafetière dans le lave-vaisselle. Nettoyez la verseuse à
l’eau chaude savonneuse et rincez-la à l’eau claire.
•Pour les parties plastiques, utilisez une éponge non abrasive ou un chiffon humide.
PROTECTION DE L’ENVIRONNEMENT – DIRECTIVE 2002/96/CE
Afin de préserver notre environnement et notre santé, l’élimination en fin de vie des appareils
électriques et électroniques doit se faire selon des règles bien précises et nécessite
l’implication de chacun, qu’il soit fournisseur ou utilisateur. C’est pour cette raison que votre
appareil, tel que le signale le symbole apposé sur sa plaque signalétique ou sur
l'emballage, ne doit en aucun cas être jeté dans une poubelle publique ou privée destinée
aux ordures ménagères. L'utilisateur a le droit de déposer l'appareil gratuitement dans des lieux
publics de collecte procédant à un tri sélectif des déchets pour être soit recyclé, soit réutilisé

CONDITIONS DE GARANTIE
Pour nos produits, les conditions légales concernant les réclamations dans le cadre de la
période de garantie sont d’application.
Pendant la période légale, les vices de fabrication et de matériaux sont couverts. Ne sont pas
couverts par la garantie: les bris de pièces ou d’accessoires, les défauts liés à un usage ou
entretien détourné de l’appareil, à des usures excessives résultant d’usages intensifs et à tout
autre usage contraire aux instructions fournies. La garantie devient caduque lorsque le produit
a été modifié ou des tentatives de réparation ont visiblement été faites. Ces manipulations
dégagent dans le même temps la responsabilité du vendeur en cas d’accidents.

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRI TEN
Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig alvorens u uw toestel gebruikt, en respecteer altijd de
veiligheids- en de gebruiksvoorschriften.
Belangrijk: Personen (kinderen inbegrepen) die wegens hun fysieke, sensoriële of mentale
capaciteiten, of wegens hun gebrek aan ervaring of kennis, het toestel niet veilig kunnen
gebruiken, mogen dit toestel niet zonder toezicht of instructies van een verantwoordelijke
persoon gebruiken. Houd kinderen goed in het oog om te vermijden dat ze met het toestel
spelen.
Controleer of de netspanning overeenkomt met deze van het toestel.
Laat uw toestel tijdens het gebruik nooit zonder toezicht.
Controleer regelmatig of het toestel niet beschadigd is. Gebruik het toestel niet indien het
snoer of het toestel zelf beschadigd is maar laat het in dit geval herstellen door een
bekwame gekwalificeerde dienst(*). Een beschadigd snoer dient te worden vervangen

Gebruik het toestel enkel voor huishoudelijk gebruik en op de wijze zoals vermeld in de
gebruiksaanwijzing.
Dompel het toestel nooit onder in water of in enige andere vloeistof, noch om het te
reinigen, noch om welke andere reden ook. Steek het nooit in een afwasmachine.
Gebruik het toestel niet in de nabijheid van warmtebronnen.
Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het toestel afkoelen vooraleer u het reinigt, vult
of opbergt.
Gebruik het toestel niet buiten en berg het op in een droge ruimte.
Gebruik geen accessoires die niet door de fabrikant aanbevolen werden. Dit kan
gevaarlijk zijn voor de gebruiker en het toestel beschadigen.
Trek nooit aan het snoer om het toestel te verplaatsen. Plaats het toestel op een stabiel
oppervlak zodat het niet kan vallen. Zorg ervoor dat het elektriciteitssnoer nergens kan
achterhaken en daardoor de val van het toestel veroorzaken. Draai het snoer niet rond
het toestel en plooi het niet.
Let erop dat u de warme onderdelen van het toestel niet aanraakt. Raak alleen de plastic
onderdelen aan en neem de thermoskan enkel bij het handvat vast.
Zorg ervoor dat het toestel nooit in contact komt met ontvlambare stoffen zoals gordijnen
en dergelijke wanneer het in gebruik is om brand te vermijden. Plaats het toestel niet op
een warm oppervlak of in de buurt van een vlam, want de behuizing zou kunnen smelten.
Gebruik enkel koud of lauw (drinkbaar) water. Geen water gebruiken uit baden, wastafels
of andere recipiënten.
Gebruik dit toestel enkel indien de thermoskan geen enkele beschadiging vertoont.
Gebruik de thermoskan enkel met dit toestel.
Laat uw koffiezetapparaat niet werken zonder water.
Pas op dat u zich niet verbrandt aan de stoom die boven de koffiefilter en bij het openen
van de thermoskan ontsnapt.
Gebruik voor het ontkalken enkel een speciaal hiertoe bestemd product. Gebruik geen
ammoniak of andere stof die uw gezondheid zou kunnen schaden.
Belangrijk: zet de thermoskan nooit in een microgolfoven om de koffie op te warmen of in
een vaatwasmachine om de thermoskan te reinigen. We kunnen niet aansprakelijk
worden gehouden voor schade ten gevolge van het niet naleven van deze instructies.
Schep enkel gemalen koffie in de filter.
Vergeet nooit dat de temperatuur van uw bereide koffie hoog is. Behandel de kan
voorzichtig om spatten te voorkomen.
 Trek na het gebruik altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact!



TOEPASSINGS-/GEBRUIKSDOMEIN
•Gebruik het toestel enkel voor huishoudelijk gebruik en op de wijze zoals vermeld in de
gebruiksaanwijzing.
•Dit toestel is bestemd om te worden gebruikt voor huishoudelijke toepassingen en
gelijkaardige toepassingen zoals:
Keukenhoeken voorbehouden voor het personeel in winkels, kantoren en
andere professionele omgevingen.
Boerderijen.
Het gebruik door de klanten van hotels, motels en andere omgevingen met een
residentieel karakter.
Omgevingen van het gastenverblijf-type.
EERSTE INGEBRUIKNAME
•Laat het apparaat eerst 2 maal met zuiver water doorlopen (zonder koffie). Deze
procedure is absoluut noodzakelijk.
•Wanneer het water doorgelopen is, schakel het apparaat dan uit, laat het 5
minuten afkoelen en herhaal de procedure.
KO IE ZETTEN
LET OP DAT U HET DEKSEL NIET OP DE KAN ZET WANNEER U HET TOESTEL IN GEBRUIK NEEMT.
•Open het deksel van het waterreservoir.
•Giet de gewenste hoeveelheid water in het reservoir met behulp van de koffiekan.
Overschrijd het maximumpeil niet, want anders zal de koffiekan overlopen.
•Zet de filterhouder in het koffiezetapparaat. Doe een papieren filter (maat 4) in de
filterhouder en vul deze met de gewenste hoeveelheid gemalen koffie (1 theelepeltje per
kopje, ca. 6 g). Opgelet: vouw de onderste rand en de zijrand van de papierfilter zo om dat
hij perfect in de filterhouder past.
•Vergeet nooit het deksel van het waterreservoir te sluiten en de kan op de plaat te zetten
(zonder deksel) alvorens het toestel aan te zetten.
•Schakel het koffiezetapparaat in aan de hand van de schakelaar. Het lichtje van de
schakelaar zal branden om aan te duiden dat het toestel in werking is getreden.
•Wanneer u de kan wegneemt, zal het antidrupklepje zich automatisch sluiten zodat geen
enkele druppel op de plaat valt. Het terugplaatsen van de kan opent automatisch het
antidrupsysteem en laat toe dat de overgebleven koffie in de filter verder in de kan loopt.
•Wacht na het doorlopen van het warme water tot de filter is leeggelopen vooraleer u de
koffiekan weghaalt.
•Wacht tot de koffie is doorgelopen en de filter is leeggelopen. Schakel dan het toestel uit
door de aan-/uitschakelaar op stand “0” te zetten en trek de stekker uit het stopcontact.
•Neem de kan weg en schroef het deksel op de kan. De thermoskan laat u toe de koffie
een geruime tijd warm te houden.
•Om de koffie uit te gieten is het nodig om het deksel van de thermoskan te verwijderen.
ONTKALKEN EN REINIGEN
•Indien u merkt dat de koffie trager doorloopt, ontkalkt u best het apparaat. Wacht
in geen geval tot het erger wordt. De ontkalkingsfrequentie hangt af van het

kalkgehalte van het water en varieert bijgevolg van gezin tot gezin. Het is dus heel
belangrijk om de kalkaanslag in het oog te houden.
•Wij raden u aan het apparaat regelmatig te ontkalken. Dit verlengt de levensduur van het
apparaat. Gebruik hiervoor in de handel verkrijgbare ontkalkingsmiddelen en volg hun
gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig. Spoel daarna het toestel met zuiver water, zonder koffie.
Een toestel dat niet werd ontkalkt, wordt niet door de garantie gedekt.
•Plaats geen enkel onderdeel van uw koffiezetapparaat in de vaatwasmachine. Reinig de
thermoskan in een warm sopje.
•Gebruik een vochtige doek om de plastieken delen te reinigen.
MILIEUBESCHERMING – RICHTLIJN 2002/96/EG
Om ons milieu en onze gezondheid te beschermen, moet afgedankte elektrische en
elektronische apparatuur in overeenstemming met welbepaalde regels weggegooid worden.
Dit vergt zowel de inzet van de leveranciers als van de gebruikers. Om deze reden mag uw
apparaat, zoals op het typeplaatje of op de verpakking aangegeven door het symbool ,
niet met het gewone huisvuil weggegooid worden. De gebruiker heeft het recht het toestel
gratis naar een gemeentelijk centrum van gescheiden inzameling te brengen waar het
overeenkomstig de richtlijn hergebruikt, gerecycleerd of voor andere doeleinden gebruikt zal
worden.
GARANTIEVOORWAARDEN
Voor onze producten gelden de wettelijke bepalingen wat betreft aanspraken op de
waarborg. Tijdens de wettelijke periode worden materiaal- of fabrieksfouten gedekt. Op de
waarborg kan geen aanspraak worden gemaakt voor breekbare onderdelen, of voor
defecten ten gevolge van gebruik voor verkeerde doeleinden of van slecht onderhoud, van
overmatige slijtage door intensief gebruik, of van foutief gebruik wegens de niet-naleving van
de gebruiksaanwijzing, of voor defecten ten gevolge van normale slijtage. Op de waarborg
kan ook geen aanspraak worden gemaakt indien het toestel gewijzigd werd of indien er
pogingen tot herstelling werden uitgevoerd. In dit geval kan de verkoper ook niet aansprakelijk
worden gehouden in geval van ongevallen.
Indien u een defect vaststelt, gelieve contact op te nemen met de verkoper of winkel waar u
het toestel gekocht hebt en overhandig het volledige toestel in zijn oorspronkelijke verpakking
samen met uw kasticket. Aanspraken op de garantie gelden enkel indien het kasticket of een
kopie van een eventuele herstelfactuur bijgesloten wordt.
Of stuur uw toestel gereinigd, goed verpakt en gefrankeerd met een korte, duidelijk leesbare

Defecte accessoires leiden niet tot het omruilen van het toestel, maar worden gratis
vervangen. Gelieve in dit geval niet het toestel terug te sturen, maar enkel de defecte
accessoires. Gebroken glas kan mits betaling vervangen worden.
Accessoires die defect zijn wegens slijtage evenals reiniging, onderhoud of het vervangen van
onderdelen die aan slijtage onderhevig zijn, worden niet door de waarborg gedekt en moeten
dus betaald worden!

Herstellingen na afloop van de garantieperiode kunnen mits betaling door bekwame
gekwalificeerde vaklui of herstellingsdiensten uitgevoerd worden.



CONSEJOS DE SEGURIDAD
Lea detenidamente el modo de empleo antes de utilizar el aparato, y siempre siga las
medidas de seguridad y el modo de funcionamiento.
Importante: Las personas (incluidos niños) con incapacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales, o
sin experiencia o conocimiento nunca deben utilizar el aparato, salvo si están bajo la
vigilancia de una persona responsable de su seguridad o si recibieron previamente
instrucciones con respecto al uso seguro del aparato.
Es necesario vigilar a los niños para que no jueguen con el aparato.
Antes de utilizar el aparato, compruebe que el voltaje de la red eléctrica coincide con el
indicado en la placa de características del aparato.
No deje nunca su aparato sin vigilancia cuando esté en marcha.
Compruebe de vez en cuando que el aparato no esté dañado y no utilice su aparato si
el cable o el aparato están dañados por el motivo que sea. Cualquier reparación debe
ser realizada por un servicio cualificado competente(*). Si el cable está dañado, debe ser
reemplazado por un servicio cualificado competente(*).
Procure que el cable no entre en contacto con las superficies calientes del aparato.
tilice el aparato únicamente para usos domésticos y de la manera indicada en el modo
de empleo.
No sumerja nunca el aparato en el agua o en cualquier otro líquido ni para su limpieza ni
por cualquier otra razón.
No utilice el aparato cerca de fuentes de calor.
Desenchufe el aparato y déjelo enfriar antes de limpiarlo, recogerlo o llenarlo.
Procure no utilizar el aparato en el exterior y colóquelo en un sitio seco.
No utilice accesorios no recomendados por el fabricante, ello puede conllevar un riesgo
para el usuario y dañar el aparato.
No mueva nunca el aparato estirando del cable. Coloque el aparato sobre una mesa o
un soporte lo suficiente estable y procure que el cable no se enganche en alguna parte,
a fin de evitar posibles caídas del mismo. Evite enrollar el cable alrededor del aparato y
no lo tuerza.
No toque nunca las partes calientes del aparato, solo toque las partes de plástico y tome
la jarra isoterma por su asa.
Procure que el aparato no entre en contacto con materiales fácilmente inflamables
como cortinas, tejidos, etc., cuando esté en funcionamiento, ya que podría provocar un
incendio.
Sólo utilice agua fresca y potable, fría o tibia. No utilice nunca agua viendo de una
bañera, de una lavadora o de otros contenidores.
Si quiere eliminar la cal del aparato utilice solamente un producto especialmente
concebido para este fin. No utilice amoniaco o cualquier otro producto que pueda
perjudicar la salud.
No haga funcionar la cafetera sin agua.
Cuidado: no se queme con el vapor que sale por el filtro o cuando abre la jarra.
No utilice nunca el aparato si la jarra está dañada. tilice la jarra solo para ese aparato.
IMPORTANTE: nunca ponga la jarra en un microondas para calentar el café o en el
lavavajillas para limpiarla. Rehusamos cualquier responsabilidad si no respete esta
instrucción.
Ponga sólo café molido en el filtro.
No olvide nunca que el café saliendo del aparato es muy caliente. Sólo mueve la jarra
con mucha prudencia para evitar salpicaduras.
Siempre desenchufe el aparato después del uso!



(*) Servicio técnico cualificado: servicio técnico del fabricante o del importador o una
persona cualificada, reconocida y habilitada a fin de evitar cualquier peligro. En cualquier
caso devuelva el aparato al servicio técnico.
CAMPO DE APLICACIÓN/DE UNCIONAMIENTO
•tilice el aparato sólo para usos domésticos y de la manera indicada en el modo de
empleo.
•Este aparato está diseñado para uso doméstico o aplicaciones similares como:
Cocinas reservadas para personal en tiendas, oficinas y otros profesionales.
Granjas.
El uso por clientes de hoteles, moteles, y otros con un carácter residencial.
Profesionales tipo de “camas y desayunos”.
ANTES DE LA PRIMERA UTILIZACIÓN
•Antes de utilizar el aparato por primera vez, eche agua en el depósito (pero sin poner
café) y ponga el aparato en funcionamiento. Esta operación debe efectuarse sin falta.
•Repita esta operación 2 o 3 veces y espere unos 5 minutos entre dos operaciones para
que el aparato enfríe.
PARA HACER CA É
CUANDO HACE UNCIONAR SU APARATO, COMPRUEBE QUE NO PONGA LA TAPA EN LA
JARRA.
•Levante la tapa del depósito.
•Con la jarra, eche el agua deseada en el aparato. No supere el nivel máximo indicado,
ya que el café podría desbordarse.
•Coloque el porta-filtro en la cafetera. Ponga un filtro de papel (tamaño 4) en el porta-
filtro y llénelo después con la cantidad de café deseada (1 cucharilla de café por taza,
aproximadamente 6g). Por favor tome nota: pliege la parte inferior y los bordes laterales
del filtro de papel de tal manera que encaje perfectamente en el soporte del filtro.
•No olvide cerrar la tapadera del depósito y coloque la jarra (sin tapa) en la placa antes
de encender su cafetera.
•Enciende el aparato, pulsando en el interruptor. El interruptor luminoso se enciende para
indicarle que el aparato funciona.
•Cuando retire la jarra del aparato, una válvula antigoteo se cierre automáticamente
para evitar que caiga alguna gota de café sobre la placa. Cuando vuelve a poner la
jarra, el sistema antigoteo se detiene y el café que queda pasa en la jarra.
•Cuando ya no haya agua en el depósito, espere que el café deje de pasar antes de
retirar la jarra.
•Espere que el café haya pasado y que el filtro esté vacío. Apague el aparato poniendo
el interruptor ON/OFF en la posición “0” y desenchufe el aparato.
•Saque la jarra isotérmica, entornille la tapa en la jarra. La jarra isotérmica le permite
guardar el café caliente por un tiempo.
•Para verter café, hace falta destornillar la tapa.
DESCALCI ICACIÓN Y LIMPIEZA
•Cuando empiece a notar que el café tarda en pasar más tiempo de lo habitual,
decalcifique su aparato y no espere, sobre todo, a que la situación se agrave. La
frecuencia de desincrustación depende de la dureza del agua y varia entonces de una

casa a otra. Es muy importante comprobar regularmente que no se forme cal en su
cafetera.
•Le aconsejamos desincrustar su aparato con regularidad para conservar la cafetera en
buen estado. Para ello, utilice un desincrustante para cafeteras eléctricas que venden en
el mercado y siga sus instrucciones. Después enjuague el aparato con agua fresca, sin
café molido. La garantía no cubre los aparatos que no hayan sido desincrustadas.
•No ponga nunca su aparato y sus accesorios en un lavavajillas. Sólo limpie la jarra con
agua jabonosa.
•tilice un paño ligeramente húmedo y no abrasivo para las partes de plástico.
PROTECCIÓN DEL MEDIO AMBIENTE – DIRECTIVA 2002/96/CE
Para poder preservar nuestro medio ambiente y proteger la salud humana, los residuos
eléctricos y equipos electrónicos deberían ser destruidos de acuerdo con unas normas
especificas con la implicación de ambos proveedores y consumidores. Por esta razón, como
indica el símbolo en la placa de datos técnicos, su aparato no debería ser tirado en un
contenedor municipal sino que debería ser devuelto a la tienda, o dejado en un punto de
recolección para ser reciclado o usado para otras aplicaciones conforme a la directiva.
CONDICIONES DE GARANTIA
Para nuestros productos, las condiciones legales tocando a reclamaciones durante la
garantía están válidas. Durante el periodo legal, todo el material y defectos de fabricación
están cubiertos. No se aceptará reclamaciones por accesorios rotos, defectos resultante de
un uso inapropiado o de una falta de cuidado, un desgaste excesivo debido a un uso
intensivo, mal uso debido a la falta de respeto del manual de instrucciones, o desgaste
normal. No se aceptará reclamaciones si el aparato ha sido reparado o modificado. En tal
caso, el vendedor no puede estar responsable de eventuales accidentes.
Si detecta un defecto, contacte su vendedor o punto de venta y devuelva el aparato
completo en su embalaje de orígen así que la prueba de compra. Reclamaciones bajo
garantía estarán válidas sólo si la prueba de compra o una copia de reparaciones acompaña
el aparato que necesita reparación.
Puede también enviar el aparato limpio, en un buen embalaje con una descripción corta y
fácil de leer del defecto así que una prueba de compra a nuestro servicio posventa en
nuestra firma en Bad Blankenburg.
En caso de accesorio defectuoso, el aparato no estará cambiado, pero sólo el accesorio le
estará enviado, sin suplemente. En tal caso, no devuelva el aparato completo pero sólo el
accesorio. En caso de daños al cristal, las piezas de reemplazamiento estarán a su carga.
Las piezas desgastadas por el funcionamiento, el mantenimiento o la limpieza no están
cubiertas por la garantía y por eso estarán a su coste.
DESPUES DEL PERIODO LEGAL DE GARANTIA
Reparaciones después del periodo legal de garantía pueden hacerse a coste del cliente por
un técnico cualificado competente.
