WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN
qLesen Sie aufmerksam die Gebrauchsanleitung, bevor Sie Ihr Gerät benutzen.
qAlle Handlungen, an und mit diesem Gerät dürfen nur insoweit ausgeführt werden, wie sie
in dieser Gebrauchsanleitung beschrieben sind.
qFalls Sie das Produkt mal einer anderen Person weitergeben möchten, legen Sie diese
Gebrauchsanleitung immer mit dazu.
qKontrollieren Sie, ob die Netzspannung mit der auf dem Gerät vermerkten
Spannung übereinstimmt, bevor Sie das Gerät benutzen.

qBenutzen Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien und bewahren Sie es an einem trockenen Platz auf.
qBenutzen Sie nur Zubehör, welches vom Lieferanten empfohlen wurde. Anderes Zubehör
stellt eine Gefahr für den Benutzer dar und das Gerät könnte dadurch beschädigt
werden.
qZiehen Sie niemals an der Anschlussleitung, um das Gerät zu bewegen. Achten Sie darauf,
dass die Anschlussleitung nicht hängen bleibt und dies zum Fall des Gerätes führen
könnte. Wickeln Sie die Anschlussleitung nicht um das Gerät, achten Sie darauf, dass die
Anschlussleitung nicht mit den heißen Teilen des Gerätes in Kontakt kommt.
qStellen Sie das Gerät auf einen Tisch oder auf eine ebene Fläche.
qBeachten Sie, dass die Platten des Gerätes und das Gerät selbst beim Gebrauch sehr heiß
werden. Benutzen Sie das Gerät mit der entsprechenden Vorsicht. Benutzen Sie die Griffe.
qEntfernen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen.
qAchten Sie darauf, dass das Gerät erkaltet ist, bevor Sie es reinigen und wegräumen.
qDie antihaftbeschichteten Platten reinigen Sie am besten mit einem weichen und
feuchten Tuch. Benutzen Sie keine metallischen, spitzen und kratzenden Hilfsmittel. Das
Gehäuse kann man ebenfalls mit einem weichen feuchten Tuch mit etwas Spülmittel
reinigen.
(*) Fachmann: Anerkannter Kundendienst des Lieferanten oder des Importeurs, der für derartige
Reparaturen zuständig ist. Wenden Sie sich für eventuelle Reparaturen an diesen

Achtung: Bei der ersten Benutzung kann es zu einer leichten Rauch- oder Geruchsentwicklung
kommen. Dies ist ungefährlich und wird sich nach kurzer Zeit geben.
BEDIENUNG
Achtung
Ihr Gerät verfügt über zwei separat voneinander regelbaren Grillflächen.
Somit lässt sich eine große Vielfalt von Speisen zubereiten.
•Vor der ersten Benutzung empfehlen wir, die Grillplatten mit einem feuchten Tuch zu
reinigen und anschließend gut abzutrocknen.
•Öffnen Sie den Grill, um zu sehen, dass nichts auf der Grillfläche ist. Schließen Sie den Grill
und stecken Sie den Stecker in die Steckdose.
•Drehen Sie die beiden Thermostate bis die Kontrollleuchten aufleuchten. Wenn beide
Kontrollleuchten erlöschen, ist das Gerät ausreichend vorgeheizt. Weiter können Sie die
Temperatur anhand des Thermostats senken oder erhöhen. Das Licht wird entsprechend
des Heizzyklus an- und ausgehen. Damit wird gewährleistet, dass der Grill eine annähernd
gleichmäßige Arbeitstemperatur behält.
•Die Antihaftbeschichtung erlaubt es, weitestgehend auf die Verwendung von Fett, Öl
oder anderen Trennmitteln (Backspray) zu verzichten. Bei Lebensmitteln mit niedrigem
Fettgehalt, bei Gemüse und Fisch können Sie die Platten leicht mit Fett einreiben oder
Backspray einsprühen. Bei Fleisch oder marinierten Lebensmitteln können Sie komplett
darauf verzichten.
•Wenn der Grill die gewünschte Temperatur erreicht hat, öffnen Sie ihn, indem Sie die
obere Platte aufklappen. Stellen Sie die Fettpfännchen unter die Abtropfrinnen der
Grillplatten. Nun können Sie das Gerät in 3 verschiedenen Positionen verwenden:
•Position 1 (Siehe Bild 1, Seite 4): Legen Sie Ihre Lebensmittel auf die untere Grillfläche
und schließen Sie den Deckel wieder. Diese Position eignet sich am besten für Fleisch
und Gemüse.
•Position 2 (Siehe Bild 2, Seite 4): Legen Sie Ihre Lebensmittel auf die untere Grillfläche
und schließen Sie den Deckel so, dass die Grillplatten nicht aufeinander kommen,
sondern parallell bleiben. Dazu müssen Sie den Deckel zuerst senkrecht heben und
dann in die Richtung des Thermostats ziehen, damit die Stifte an den beiden Seiten
des oberen Teils des Gerätes in die dazu vorgesehenen Halterungshaken an beiden
Seiten des unteren Teils einpassen. Diese Position eignet sich am Besten für Fisch und
Pizza.
•Position 3 (Siehe Bild 3, Seite 4): Öffnen Sie das Gerät ganz, damit die beiden Platten
nebeneinander liegen. Dazu müssen Sie den Deckel zuerst senkrecht heben und
dann die obere Grillplatte nach außen drehen damit das Gerät völlig offen ist. Diese
Position eignet sich für alle Lebensmittel, außer Pizza. ( Sie können beide Grillplatten
mit unterschiedlicher Temperatur bedienen - Thermostat oben und unten ).
•Lassen Sie Ihre Lebensmittel garen. Aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Beschaffenheiten und
Größen der Lebensmittel ist eine exakte Angabe von Garzeiten nicht möglich. Nach
einigen Minuten sollten Sie den Grillprozess kontrollieren und entscheiden, ob die
Lebensmittel ausreichend gegart sind oder ob der Grillvorgang noch fortgesetzt werden
soll.
•Wenn das Grillgut ausreichend gegart ist, nehmen Sie es von der Grillfläche und legen Sie
es auf Teller oder in einen geeigneten Behälter. Benutzen Sie dazu keine spitzen
Metallgegenstände. Verwenden Sie dazu einen Holzspatel oder einen Spatel aus Plastik
bzw. Küchenzangen. Kontrollieren Sie ab und zu die Fettauffangschalen, damit diese nicht
überlaufen.

•Möchten Sie den Grillvorgang beenden, so ziehen Sie den Netzstecker und lassen Sie das
Gerät abkühlen.
HINWEISE ZUR REINIGUNG
•Bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker und lassen Sie das Gerät
ausreichend abkühlen.
•Reinigen Sie die Grillplatten mit einem feuchten Tuch bzw. Schwamm oder
Haushaltspapier. Für eine einfache Reinigung können Sie die Grillplatten abnehmen
indem Sie die Verschlussclips (4) entgegen den Grillplatten ziehen, damit sich die
Grillplatten lösen.
•Verwenden Sie keine harten oder kratzenden Gegenstände. Bei größeren
Verschmutzungen verwenden Sie ein mildes Spülmittel. Spülen Sie mit heißem Wasser
nach und trocknen Sie die Platten sorgfältig ab. Am Besten gelingt die Reinigung, wenn
die Grillplatten noch eine leichte Restwärme aufweisen. Achten Sie darauf, dass die
Ablaufrinnen für das Öl/Fett sorgfältig gereinigt sind, so dass das Öl/Fett bei späterer
Benutzung ungehindert ablaufen kann.
•Die Gehäuseflächen reinigen Sie auch mit einem feuchten Tuch, dem Sie ggf. ein mildes
Spülmittel beigeben.
•Achten Sie darauf, dass kein Wasser in das Gerät eindringt.
•Reinigen Sie das Gerät nie unter fließendem Wasser. Tauchen Sie es nicht in Wasser oder
andere Flüssigkeiten.
UMWELTSCHUTZ – RICHTLINIE 2002/96/EG
Zum Schutz unserer Umwelt und unserer Gesundheit sind Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte nach
bestimmten Regeln zu entsorgen. Dies fordert den Einsatz sowohl des Herstellers bzw.
Lieferanten als auch des Verbrauchers.
Aus diesem Grund darf dieses Gerät, wie das Symbol auf dem Typenschild bzw. auf der
Verpackung zeigt, nicht in den unsortierten Restmüll gegeben werden. Der Verbraucher hat
das Recht, dieses Gerät kostenfrei über kommunale Sammelstellen zu entsorgen; von dort aus
wird die spezifische Behandlung, Verwertung bzw. das Recycling gem. den Erfordernissen der
Richtlinie sichergestellt.

Innerhalb dieser Zeit werden Mängel, welche auf Material- oder Herstellungsfehlern beruhen,
behoben. Davon ausgeschlossen sind Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen Teilen, Schäden, die
durch übermäßige Beanspruchung, unsachgemäße Behandlung und Wartung sowie durch
Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchsanweisung entstehen, Schäden, welche durch Verschleiß oder
infolge normaler Abnützung entstanden sind. Ebenso weisen wir darauf hin, dass die
Gewährleistung bei Fremdeingriff erlischt. Hierbei wird der Verkäufer im Fall eines Schadens
keine Haftung übernehmen.

Sollten Sie einen Mangel feststellen, geben Sie bitte das vollständige Gerät an ihren Händler
bzw. Verkaufsstelle. Gewährleistungsansprüche gelten nur in Verbindung mit dem zugehörigen
Kassenbon bzw. der Kopie einer eventuellen Reparaturrechnung, die bei Inanspruchnahme
der Serviceleistung unbedingt mit vorzulegen sind/ist.
Sie haben auch die Möglichkeit, das gesäuberte Gerät mit einer kurzen, gut lesbaren
Fehlerbeschreibung zusammen mit dem Kassenbon in einer frankierten Sendung an unseren
Kundendienst in unserer Firma in Bad Blankenburg zu senden.
Defekte Zubehörteile führen nicht zum Umtausch des Gerätes, sondern
werden kostenlos im Austausch zugesandt. In diesem Fall bitte nicht das
Gerät einschicken, sondern nur das defekte Zubehörteil bestellen!
Glasbruchschäden sind grundsätzlich kostenpflichtig.
Sowohl Defekte an Verbrauchszubehör bzw. Verschleißteilen, als
auch Reinigung, Wartung oder der Austausch von Verschleißteilen,
( Teleskoprohr, Saugschlauch, Bodendüse und evtl. Dauerfilter )
fallen nicht unter die Gewährleistung und sind deshalb kostenpflichtig!

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
qPlease read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
qOnly use the appliance in the way indicated in this instruction manual.
qShould you hand over the appliance to another user, make sure to hand over the
instruction manual together with the appliance.
qCheck that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the
appliance.
qNever leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
qPeople (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a
safe way, due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of
experience or knowledge, must never use the appliance without
supervision or instructions of a responsible person.
qClose supervision is necessary if children are near the appliance in order to avoid that they
use it as a toy.
qFrom time to time check the cord and plug for damages. Never use the appliance if cord,
plug or appliance shows any signs of damage.
qOnly use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these
instructions.
qNever immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever.
Never place it into the dishwasher.
qNever use the appliance near hot surfaces.
qMake sure the appliance never comes into contact with inflammable materials, such as
curtains, cloth, etc…when it is in use, as a fire might occur.
qAll repairs should be made by a competent qualified electrician(*).
qNever use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
qNever use accessories that are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute
a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.
qNever move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in
any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it. Make sure it
does not come in contact with the hot surfaces of the appliance.
qStand the appliance on a table or flat surface.
qThe temperature of the accessible surfaces may be very high when the appliance is in
use. Never touch the grill plates when the appliance is in use. Use the handles.
qBefore cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the power supply.
qMake sure the appliance has cooled down before cleaning and storing it.
qClean the non-stick coated grill plates with a damp cloth. Never use metal utensils to
clean them, as this might damage the non-stick coating. To clean the housing, you can
use a damp cloth as well, if necessary with some washing-up liquid.
(*) Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any
person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to
avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this electrician.

Caution: Some smoke or odour might escape during the first use of your appliance. This does
not represent any danger and will disappear very quickly.
OPERATION
Note
Your appliance is equipped with two separately adjustable grilling surfaces.
This allows you to prepare a large variety of foodstuffs.
•Before the first use, we advise you to clean the grill plates with a damp cloth and to dry
them carefully.
•Open the grill to make sure there is nothing on the grilling surface. Close the grill and insert
the plug into the power socket.
•Turn both thermostats until the pilot lights come on. When the pilot lights go out, it means
that the appliance has been preheated sufficiently.
•If you want to raise or lower the temperature, you can do so using the thermostat. The pilot
lights will come on and out according to the heating cycle. This will allow the grill to have
a constant temperature as long as the appliance is in use.
•The non-stick coating allows you not to make use of grease or oil for most foods. For low-
fat foods such as fish or vegetables, you can grease the grill plates, but if the fish or
vegetables are marinated, it is not necessary.
•When the grill has reached the right temperature, open it by lifting the upper plate. Put
the grease trays under the drip slots of the grill plates. You can now use the appliance in 3
different positions:
•Position 1 (See picture 1, page 4): Put the foods on the lower grill plate and close the
lid. This position is best suitable for meat and vegetables.
•Position 2 (See picture 2, page 4): Put the foods on the lower grill plate and close the
lid in such a way that both grill plates do not touch each other but stay parallel to
each other. To do so, raise the lid vertically and then pull it in the direction of the
thermostat so that the pegs on both sides of the upper part of the appliance fit in the
support hooks situated on both sides of the lower part of the appliance. This position is
best suitable for fish and pizza.
•Position 3 (See picture 3, page 4): Open the appliance totally so that both grill plates
are lying next to each other. To do so, first raise the lid vertically and then rotate it
away from the lower grill plate so that the appliance is fully stretched. This position is
best suitable for all kinds of food except pizza. (You can select a different
temperature for both grill plates with the upper and lower thermostat).
•Let the foods grill. As all foodstuffs have a different baking time, it is impossible to predict
their exact baking time. In order to avoid overcooking, check the foods regularly during
the grilling process.
•When the foods are ready, remove them from the grill and put them in the appropriate
dish. Do not use any sharp metal utensils to remove them from the grill, as this might
damage the non-stick coating. Use a wooden or plastic spatula or tongs. Regularly check
the grease trays so that they do not overfill.
•If you want to end the cooking process, pull the plug from the power socket and let the
appliance cool down.

CLEANING
•Pull the plug from the power socket and let the appliance cool down before cleaning it.
•Clean the grill plates with a damp cloth, sponge or paper towel. For easy cleaning you can
remove the grill plates. To do so, press the locking clips (4) away from the grill plates until
the latter are released.
•Do not use hard, sharp utensils. If the grill plates are very dirty, use mild washing-up product.
Rinse with hot water and dry the plates carefully. The cleaning succeeds best when the grill
plates are still slightly hot. Make sure the slots are cleaned thoroughly so that grease can be
drained properly during the next use.
•To clean the housing, use a damp cloth, if necessary with some mild washing-up product.
•Make sure no water or other liquid penetrates into the appliance.
•Never clean the appliance under running water. Never immerse the appliance in water or
any other liquid.
PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT– DIRECTIVE 2002/96/EC
In order to preserve our environment and protect human health, the waste electrical and
electronic equipment should be disposed of in accordance with specific rules with the
implication of both suppliers and users. For this reason, as indicated by the symbol on the
rating label or on the packaging, your appliance should not be disposed of as unsorted
municipal waste. The user has the right to bring it free of charge to a municipal collection point
performing waste recovery by means of reuse, recycling or use for other applications in
accordance with the directive.
TERMS OF GUARANTEE
For our products, the legal terms concerning claims under guarantee are valid. During the

accessory will be sent free of charge. In such case, do not return the complete appliance but

Attention: Lors de la première utilisation il se peut que l’appareil dégage une légère fumée ou
une odeur. Ceci est inoffensif et disparaîtra rapidement.
UTILISATION
Attention
Votre appareil dispose de deux surfaces de cuisson réglables individuellement.
Par conséquent, vous pouvez préparer une grande diversité d’aliments.
•Avant la première utilisation nous vous conseillons de nettoyer les plaques à l’aide d’un
chiffon humide et de bien les sécher.
•Ouvrez le grill pour vérifier qu’il n’y a rien sur la surface de cuisson. Fermez le grill et
branchez l’appareil.
•Tournez les deux thermostats jusqu'à ce que les témoins lumineux s’allument. Quand les
témoins lumineux s’éteignent, cela signifie que l’appareil a atteint la température
nécessaire pour préchauffer l'appareil.
•Vous pouvez augmenter ou diminuer la température à l'aide du thermostat. Le témoin
s’allumera et s’éteindra pendant la cuisson en fonction de la température. Cela permet
au grill de maintenir une température plus ou moins constante pendant l’utilisation.
•Le revêtement antiadhésif permet de cuisiner sans ajout de graisse ou huile. Lors de la
cuisson d’aliments pauvres en graisse tels que du poisson ou des légumes, vous pouvez
légèrement graisser les plaques. Par contre, pour cuire de la viande ou des aliments
marinés, il n’est pas nécessaire d’ajouter de la graisse.
•Quand le grill a atteint la température nécessaire, ouvrez-le en soulevant la partie
supérieure. Mettez les plateaus collecteurs de graisse en dessous de la rainure
d'égouttement des plaques grill. Vous pouvez maintenant utiliser l'appareil dans 3
positions possibles:
•Position 1 (voir image 1, page 4): Mettez les aliments sur la plaque inférieure et fermez
l'appareil. Cette position est particulièrement appropriée pour la viande et les
légumes.
•Position 2 (voir image 2, page 4): Mettez les aliments sur la plaque inférieure et fermez
l'appareil de façon à ce que les plaques ne se touchent pas mais restent parallèles
l'une à l'autre. Pour cela, soulevez d'abord la partie supérieure verticalement et tirez
ensuite en direction du thermostat pour que les ergots de part et d'autre de la partie
supérieure entrent dans les crochets de support de part et d'autre de la partie
inférieure de l'appareil. Cette position est particulièrement appropriée pour le poisson
et les pizzas.
•Position 3 (voir image 3, page 4): Ouvrez l'appareil entièrement afin que les deux
plaques grill soient l'une à côté de l'autre. Pour cela, soulevez la partie supérieure
verticalement et faites pivoter la partie supérieure vers l'extérieur afin que l'appareil
soit totalement ouvert. Cette position est appropriée pour tous types d'aliments sauf
les pizzas. (Vous pouvez régler une température différente pour les deux plaques à
l’aide des thermostats supérieur et inférieur).
•Laissez les aliments griller. Etant donné que les aliments ont un temps de cuisson différent, il
est impossible de prédire le temps de cuisson exact. Contrôlez donc régulièrement les
aliments en cours de cuisson afin d’évaluer si la cuisson doit être interrompue ou
continuée.
•Quand les aliments sont cuits, retirez-les de la surface du grill et mettez-les dans un
récipient adéquat. N’utilisez pas d’ustensiles métalliques ou pointus pour retirer les
aliments, mais faites plutôt usage d'une spatule en plastique ou en bois. Vérifiez
régulièrement les plateaus collecteurs de graisse pour qu'ils ne débordent pas.

•Si vous voulez mettre fin à la cuisson, débranchez l’appareil et laissez-le refroidir.
CONSEILS DE NETTOYAGE
•Débranchez l’appareil et laissez-le refroidir avant de le nettoyer.
•Nettoyez les plaques à l’aide d’un chiffon humide, d’une éponge ou d’essuie-tout. Pour
faciliter le nettoyage, il vous est possible de retirer les plaques. Pour cela, éloignez les clips
de blocage des plaques (4) afin que les plaques puissent être détachées.
•N’utilisez pas d’objets durs ou griffants. Si les plaques sont très sales, vous pouvez utiliser un
détergent doux. Rincez à l’eau chaude et séchez les plaques soigneusement. Le
nettoyage est plus facile si vous nettoyez les plaques quand elles sont encore tièdes.
Assurez-vous que les rainures soient bien nettoyées pour que la graisse s’écoule bien lors
de la prochaine utilisation.
•Nettoyez l’extérieur de l’appareil avec un chiffon doux humide, si nécessaire à l’aide
d’un détergent doux.
•Assurez-vous qu’il n’y ait pas d’eau qui pénètre dans l’appareil.
•Ne nettoyez jamais l’appareil sous de l’eau courante. N’immergez jamais l’appareil dans
de l’eau ou dans tout autre liquide.

Afin de préserver notre environnement et notre santé, l’élimination en fin de vie des appareils
électriques et électroniques doit se faire selon des règles bien précises et nécessite

CONDITIONS DE GARANTIE
Pour nos produits, les conditions légales concernant les réclamations dans le cadre de la
période de garantie sont d’application.
Pendant la période légale, les vices de fabrication et de matériaux sont couverts. Ne sont pas
couverts par la garantie : les bris de pièces ou d’accessoires, les défauts liés à un usage ou
entretien détourné de l’appareil, à des usures excessives résultant d’usages intensifs et à tout
autre usage contraire aux instructions fournies. La garantie devient caduque lorsque le produit
a été modifié ou des tentatives de réparation ont visiblement été faites. Ces manipulations
dégagent dans le même temps la responsabilité du vendeur en cas d’accidents.

Ou envoyez l'appareil nettoyé, bien emballé et dûment affranchi avec une courte description
du défaut en majuscules à notre service après-vente dans notre firme à Bad Blankenburg en
joignant également votre ticket de caisse.
Si des accessoires sont défectueux, l'appareil complet ne sera pas remplacé, mais les
accessoires seront échangés gratuitement. Dans ce cas, ne renvoyez donc pas l'appareil
complet mais commandez seulement l'accessoire défectueux! En cas de verre cassé, le
remplacement de l'accessoire concerné est payant. L'échange des accessoires soumis à
l'usure ainsi que le nettoyage et l'entretien ou l'échange de pièces usées ne sont pas couverts

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN

qZet het toestel op een tafel of op een voldoende stabiel oppervlak zodat het niet valt.
qWanneer het toestel in werking is, kunnen toegankelijke delen ervan een zeer hoge
temperatuur bereiken. Raak de warme platen niet aan maar gebruik de handvaten van
de grill.
qVerwijder de stekker uit het stopcontact vooraleer u het toestel reinigt.
qWacht tot het toestel volledig is afgekoeld alvorens het te reinigen of op te bergen.
qDe antiaanbaklaag van de platen reinigt u best met een vochtige doek. Gebruik geen
metalen of scherpe voorwerpen, deze zouden de antiaanbaklaag beschadigen. De
behuizing kunt u ook met een vochtige doek reinigen, en eventueel wat afwasmiddel.

Opgelet: Bij het eerste gebruik kan een lichte rook of geur ontsnappen. Dit is niet gevaarlijk en
zal snel verdwijnen.
GEBRUIK
Opgelet
Uw toestel beschikt over twee afzonderlijk regelbare grilloppervlakken.
Bijgevolg kunt u een grote verscheidenheid aan gerechten bereiden op uw grill.
•Voor het eerste gebruik raden wij u aan de grillplaten met een vochtige doek te reinigen
en goed af te drogen.
•Open de grill om te zien of er niets op het grilloppervlak ligt. Sluit de grill en steek de
stekker in het stopcontact.
•Draai beide thermostaten totdat de controlelampjes branden. Wanneer beide
controlelampjes uitgaan, betekent dit dat de nodige temperatuur bereikt is en het
voorverwarmen beëindigd is.
•U kunt nu de temperatuur aan de hand van de thermostaat verhogen of verlagen.
Tijdens de grilltijd zal het controlelampje aan- en uitgaan. Zo kan de grill een min of meer
constante temperatuur behouden tijdens het gebruik.
•De antiaanbaklaag maakt het mogelijk van het gebruik van vet of olie af te zien. Voor
voedingsmiddelen met een laag vetgehalte zoals groenten en vis kunt u de grillplaten
lichtjes invetten. Voor vlees en gemarineerde voedingsmiddelen is dat daarentegen niet
nodig.
•Wanneer de grill de nodige temperatuur heeft bereikt, kunt u hem openen door de
bovenste plaat op te heffen. Plaats de vetopvangschaaltjes onder de afdruipgleufjes
van de grillplaten. U kunt het toestel nu in 3 verschillende posities gebruiken:
•Positie 1 (Zie afbeelding 1, pagina 4): Plaats de voedingsmiddelen op de onderste
grillplaat en sluit het deksel weer. Deze positie is uiterst geschikt voor vlees en
groenten.
•Positie 2 (Zie afbeelding 2, pagina 4): Plaats de voedingsmiddelen op de onderste
grillplaat en sluit het deksel zodanig dat de grillplaten elkaar niet aanraken maar
parallel boven elkaar blijven. Daarvoor moet u het bovenste deel van het toestel
eerst verticaal heffen en dan in de richting van de thermostaat trekken zodat de
stiften aan beide kanten van het bovenste gedeelte in de haakjes aan beide kanten
van het onderste gedeelte passen. Deze positie is uiterst geschikt voor vis en pizza.
•Positie 3 (Zie afbeelding 3, pagina 4): Open het toestel volledig zodat beide
grillplaten naast elkaar liggen. Hiertoe moet u eerst het bovenste gedeelte verticaal
opheffen en dan naar buiten doen draaien. Op die manier is het toestel volledig
open en liggen de grillplaten naast elkaar. Deze positie is geschikt voor alle
voedingsmiddelen behalve voor pizza. (U kunt beide grillplaten met een verschillende
temperatuur bedienen met behulp van de bovenste en onderste thermostaat).
•Laat de voedingsmiddelen bakken. Aangezien alle voedingsmiddelen een verschillende
baktijd hebben, is het onmogelijk de exacte baktijd te voorspellen. Controleer daarom
regelmatig of de voedingsmiddelen al dan niet genoeg gebakken zijn.
•Wanneer de voedingsmiddelen genoeg gebakken zijn, verwijder ze dan van het
grilloppervlak en leg ze op een bord of een geschikte schotel. Gebruik hiervoor geen
scherpe metalen voorwerpen maar eerder een plastieken of houten spatel of een
keukentang. Controleer regelmatig de vetopvangschaaltjes om te vermijden dat deze
overlopen.
•Indien u het grillproces wilt beëindigen, hoeft u enkel de stekker uit het stopcontact te
trekken en het toestel te laten afkoelen.

REINIGING
•Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het toestel afkoelen vooraleer u het reinigt.
•Reinig de grillplaten met een vochtige doek, een spons of keukenpapier. Voor een
gemakkelijke reiniging kunt u de grillplaten ook verwijderen door de vergrendelingsclipjes
(4) weg van de grillplaten te duwen tot de grillplaten loskomen.
•Gebruik geen harde of krassende voorwerpen. Indien de grillplaten erg vuil zijn, kunt u
eventueel gebruik maken van een mild afwasmiddel. Spoel met warm water en droog
de platen zorgvuldig af. Het is gemakkelijker de grillplaten te reinigen wanneer ze nog
lauwwarm zijn. Zorg ervoor dat de groeven voor de vetafvoer goed gereinigd worden
zodat het vet bij het volgende gebruik goed kan afvloeien.
•Reinig de behuizing eveneens met een vochtige doek, eventueel met wat afwasmiddel.
•Zorg ervoor dat geen water in het toestel binnendringt.
•Reinig het toestel nooit onder lopend water. Dompel het toestel nooit onder in water of
enige andere vloeistof.
MILIEUBESCHERMING – RICHTLIJN 2002/96/EG
Om ons milieu en onze gezondheid te beschermen, moet afgedankte elektrische en
elektronische apparatuur in overeenstemming met welbepaalde regels weggegooid worden.
Dit vergt zowel de inzet van de leveranciers als van de gebruikers. Daarom mag uw apparaat,
zoals op het typeplaatje of op de verpakking aangegeven door het symbool , niet met
het gewone huisvuil weggegooid worden. De gebruiker heeft het recht het toestel gratis naar
een gemeentelijk centrum van gescheiden inzameling te brengen waar het overeenkomstig
de richtlijn hergebruikt, gerecycleerd of voor andere doeleinden gebruikt zal worden.
GARANTIEVOORWAARDEN
Voor onze producten gelden de wettelijke bepalingen wat betreft aanspraken op de
waarborg. Tijdens de wettelijke periode worden materiaal- of fabrieksfouten gedekt. Op de
waarborg kan geen aanspraak worden gemaakt voor breekbare onderdelen, of voor
defecten ten gevolge van gebruik voor verkeerde doeleinden of van slecht onderhoud, van
overmatige slijtage door intensief gebruik, of van foutief gebruik wegens de niet-naleving van
de gebruiksaanwijzing, of voor defecten ten gevolge van normale slijtage. Op de waarborg
kan ook geen aanspraak worden gemaakt indien het toestel gewijzigd werd of indien er

aansprakelijk worden gehouden in geval van ongevallen.
Indien u een defect vaststelt, gelieve contact op te nemen met de verkoper of winkel waar u
het toestel gekocht hebt en overhandig het volledige toestel in zijn oorspronkelijke verpakking
samen met uw kasticket. Aanspraken op de garantie gelden enkel indien het kasticket of een
kopie van een eventuele herstelfactuur bijgesloten wordt.
Of stuur uw toestel gereinigd, goed verpakt en gefrankeerd met een korte, duidelijk leesbare
beschrijving van de defecten samen met het kasticket naar onze klantendienst in onze fabriek
in Bad Blankenburg.

Defecte accessoires leiden niet tot het omruilen van het toestel, maar worden gratis
vervangen. Gelieve in dit geval niet het toestel terug te sturen, maar enkel de defecte
accessoires. Gebroken glas kan mits betaling vervangen worden.
Accessoires die defect zijn wegens slijtage evenals reiniging, onderhoud of het vervangen van
onderdelen die aan slijtage onderhevig zijn, worden niet door de waarborg gedekt en moeten
dus betaald worden!
NA AFLOOP VAN DE WETTELIJKE GARANTIEPERIODE
Herstellingen na afloop van de garantieperiode kunnen mits betaling door bekwame
gekwalificeerde vaklui of herstellingsdiensten uitgevoerd worden.
