WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN
qLesen Sie aufmerksam die Gebrauchsanleitung bevor Sie Ihr Gerät benutzen.
qAlle Handlungen, an und mit diesem Gerät dürfen nur insoweit ausgeführt werden, wie sie
in dieser Gebrauchsanleitung beschrieben sind.

legen Sie diese Gebrauchsanleitung immer mit dazu.
qKontrollieren Sie, ob die Netzspannung mit der auf dem Gerät
vermerkten Spannung übereinstimmt, bevor Sie das Gerät benutzen.

noch zu einem anderen Zweck. Geben Sie das Gerät niemals in die Spülmaschine.
qBenutzen Sie nur Zubehör, welches vom Lieferanten empfohlen wurde. Anderes Zubehör
stellt eine Gefahr für den Benutzer dar und das Gerät könnte dadurch beschädigt
werden.
qZiehen Sie niemals an der Anschlussleitung, um das Gerät zu bewegen. Achten Sie darauf,
dass die Anschlussleitung nicht irgendwo hängen bleibt und dies zum Fall des Gerätes
führen könnte. Wickeln Sie die Anschlussleitung nicht um das Gerät herum und knicken Sie
diese nicht.
qStellen Sie das Gerät auf eine stabile, ebene Fläche.
qWährend des Gebrauchs können zugängliche Teile des Gerätes eine sehr hohe
Temperatur erreichen. Berühren Sie diese Teile nicht, sondern benutzen Sie die Griffe oder
ggf. Ofenhandschuhe. Achten Sie darauf, dass das Heizelement nicht mit anderen
Gegenständen in Berührung kommt.
qEntfernen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen. Lassen Sie den
Grill komplett abkühlen, bevor Sie ihn reinigen oder wegräumen.
qEntfernen Sie immer den Stecker aus der Steckdose, wenn Sie das Gerät nicht benutzen.
qAchten Sie darauf, dass die heißen Teile während des Betriebes nicht mit leicht
entflammbarem Material, wie Gardinen, Tischdecken, usw. in Berührung kommen. Gerät
nicht auf heiße Oberflächen oder in der Nähe von offenen Gasflammen abstellen –
Gefahr der Gehäuseanschmelzung.
qBereiten Sie nur Nahrungsmittel, die zum Grillen und zum Verzehr geeignet sind.
qSie sollten das Gerät sauber halten, da es in direktem Kontakt mit Nahrungsmitteln ist.
qDieses Gerät nicht benutzen ohne den Wasserstand überprüft zu haben, da das Wasser
zum Abkühlen des Gerätes notwendig ist. Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, bevor

Sie Wasser in das Grillgehäuse füllen. Gießen Sie kein Wasser auf das Heizelement.
Überschreiten Sie nicht die Maximummarkierung.
qBenutzen Sie niemals Holzkohle, Grillanzünder, Flüssigkeiten für klassische Grills zum Erhöhen
der Temperatur. Dieses Gerät kann nur mit Hilfe des Heizelementes erwärmt werden.
qNiemals das Gerät abdecken.
qÖl- und Fettzubereitungen können bei Überhitzung brennen. Seien Sie äußerst vorsichtig.
qIhr Gerät darf niemals über eine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder irgendein anderes, separates
Fernbedienungssystem eingeschaltet werden.
(*) Fachmann: anerkannter Kundendienst des Lieferanten oder des Importeurs, der für
derartige Reparaturen zuständig ist. Für eventuelle Reparaturen wenden Sie sich bitte an
diesen Kundendienst.
VOR DER ERSTEN BENUTZUNG
Säubern Sie den Grill und die Zubehörteile (siehe Reinigung und Instandhaltung). Es ist ratsam,
den Barbecue-Grill ca.10 Minuten ohne Grillgut vorzuwärmen, damit sich der Eigengeruch des
Grills verliert.
INBETRIEBNAHME
•Legen Sie den Aluminiumreflektor in das Grill-Gehäuse. Befüllen Sie nun die Grillwanne mit
kaltem Wasser (zwischen Minimum- und Maximummarkierung).
•Schieben Sie das Griff- und Regelteil des Heizelementes von vorn in die Aussparung der
Grillwanne und lassen Sie Führungsstifte an der Heizschlange in die vorgesehenen
Öffnungen in der Grillwanne einrasten.
•Setzen Sie nun den Grillrost(2) auf das Heizelement.
•Das Wasser in der Grillwanne verdampft während der Benutzung langsam, es ist deshalb
ratsam das Wasser von Zeit zu Zeit nachzufüllen. Gießen Sie auf keinen Fall Wasser direkt auf
das Heizelement - es könnte beschädigt werden.
•Stecken Sie den Stecker in die Steckdose und schalten Sie das Gerät mit dem stufenlosen
Thermostat ein. Die rote Kontrollleuchte wird aufleuchten.
•Heizen Sie das Gerät ungefähr 5 Minuten mit Maximalleistung vor, und stellen Sie dann das
stufenlose Thermostat auf die von Ihnen gewünschte Regelstufe ein.
•Während des Betriebes wird die rote Kontrollleuchte zeitweilig an- und ausgehen, das ist
das normale Takten des Thermostates, wenn jeweils die gewählte Temperatur erreicht ist.
•Legen Sie das Grillgut auf den Rost.
•Die Grillzeit ist unterschiedlich und richtet sich nach Art und Beschaffenheit des jeweiligen
Grillgutes.
•Ziehen Sie den Stecker nach Gebrauch und drehen Sie den Regler in die Minimumstellung.
PRAKTISCHE HINWEISE
•Tiefgefrorenes vor dem Grillen auftauen.
•Kontrollieren Sie von Zeit zu Zeit den Wasserstand in der Grillpfanne.
REINIGUNG UND INSTANDHALTUNG
•Bevor Sie das Gerät säubern, müssen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose ziehen.
•Lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen bevor Sie es reinigen.
•Nehmen Sie dann das Griff- und Regelteil mit der Heizspirale aus der Halterung.
•Sie können nun das Gehäuse des Grills sowie die Reflektorschale und den Grillrost

abnehmen, per Hand abwaschen (nicht in der Spülmaschine) und mit einem Tuch
abtrocknen.
•Die Außenseite des Barbecue-Grills reinigen Sie nur mit einem angefeuchteten Tuch und
wischen mit einem trockenen Tuch nach.
•Keine scharfen oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel verwenden.
GARANTIE
Für unsere Produkte übernehmen wir eine Garantie von 2 Jahren ab Kaufdatum.
Innerhalb der Garantiezeit werden Mängel, welche auf Material- oder Herstellungsfehlern
beruhen, behoben. Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen
Teilen, Schäden, die durch übergemäße Beanspruchung, unsachgemäße Behandlung und
Wartung sowie durch Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchsanweisung entstehen, Schäden, welche
durch Verschleiß oder infolge normaler Abnützung entstanden sind. Ebenso weisen wir darauf
hin, dass die Garantie bei Fremdeingriff erlischt. Hierbei wird der Verkäufer im Fall eines
Schadens keine Haftung übernehmen.
Im Garantiefall geben Sie bitte das vollständige Gerät an ihrem Händler. Die Garantie gilt nur
in Verbindung mit dem zugehörigen Kassenbon und der Garantiekarte bzw. der Kopie einer
eventuellen Reparaturrechnung, die bei Inanspruchnahme der Garantie unbedingt mit
vorzulegen sind/ist.
Sie haben auch die Möglichkeit, das gesäuberte Gerät mit einer kurzen, gut lesbaren
Fehlerbeschreibung und dem Vermerk „Garantiereparatur“ zusammen mit dem
Garantiebeleg und dem Kassenbon in einer frankierten Sendung an unseren Kundendienst zu
senden.
Defekte Zubehörteile führen nicht zum Umtausch des Gerätes, sondern werden kostenlos im
Austausch zugesandt. In diesem Fall bitte nicht das Gerät einschicken, sondern nur das defekte
Zubehörteil bestellen! Glasbruchschäden sind grundsätzlich kostenpflichtig.
Sowohl Defekte an Verbrauchszubehör bzw. Verschleißteilen (z.B. Motorkohlen, Antriebsriemen,
Leuchtmittel, usw.), als auch Reinigung, Wartung oder der Austausch von Verschleißteilen,
fallen nicht unter die Garantie und sind deshalb kostenpflichtig!
NACH ABLAUF DER GARANTIEZEIT
Reparaturen nach Ablauf der Garantiezeit können kostenpflichtig von entsprechendem
Fachpersonal oder Reparaturservice ausgeführt werden.
UMWELTSCHUTZ – RICHTLINIE 2002/96/EG
Zum Schutz unserer Umwelt und unserer Gesundheit sind Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte nach
bestimmten Regeln zu entsorgen. Dies fordert den Einsatz sowohl des Herstellers bzw.
Lieferanten als auch des Verbrauchers.
Aus diesem Grund darf dieses Gerät, wie das Symbol auf dem Typenschild bzw. auf der
Verpackung zeigt, nicht in den unsortierten Restmüll gegeben werden. Der Verbraucher hat
das Recht, dieses Gerät kostenfrei über kommunale Sammelstellen zu entsorgen; von dort aus

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
qPlease read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
qOnly use the appliance in the way indicated in this instruction manual.
qShould you hand over the appliance to another user, make sure to hand over the
instruction manual together with the appliance.
qCheck that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the
appliance.
qPeople (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a
safe way, due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of
experience or knowledge, must never use the appliance without
supervision or instructions of a responsible person.
qClose supervision is necessary if children are near the appliance in order to avoid that they
use it as a toy.
qNever leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
qFrom time to time check the cord for damages. Never use the appliance if cord or
appliance shows any signs of damage. All repairs should be made by a competent
qualified electrician (*).
qMake sure the cord never comes into contact with the hot parts of the appliance.
qOnly use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these
instructions.
qNever immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever.
Never place it into the dishwasher.

qMake sure the appliance is set on a flat and stable surface.
qThe temperature of the accessible surfaces may be very high when the appliance is in
use. Never touch these surfaces and make use of the handles. Always use gauntlets when
handling the appliance. Make sure nothing comes into contact with the heating element
of the appliance.
qBefore cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the power supply. Make sure the
appliance has cooled down before cleaning or storing it.
qUnplug the appliance when not in use.
qMake sure the hot parts of the appliance never come into contact with inflammable
materials, such as curtains, cloth, etc... when it is in use, as a fire might occur. Do not put
the appliance on hot surfaces or near open gas flames as the casing might melt.
qOnly grill consumable food.
qIt is absolutely necessary to always keep this appliance clean as it comes into contact with
food.
qBefore using the appliance always check the water level in the grill tub. This water is
indispensable as it is used for the cooling of the appliance. Before filling the grill tub,
always unplug the appliance. Never spill water on the heating element and do not
exceed the maximum water level indicated in the grill tub.
qNever use fuels such as charcoal, combustibles, stimulating liquids for regular barbecues...
to increase or speed up the temperature. The only source of heat of this appliance is its
heating resistor. Do not add anything else.
qDo not cover the appliance with anything.
qBe extremely cautious as oil and fat preparations might catch fire if overheated.

qYour appliance must never be switched on through an external timer or any kind of
separate remote control system.
(*) Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any
person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to
avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this customer service.
UK STYLE PLUG WIRING INSTRUCTIONS (IN THE UK ONLY)
This product must only be used from a 13 amp power socket. If a BS1363 approved 13 amp
plug is used, it should be fitted with a 13 amp fuse. The wires on the power cord are colour
coded:
blue = neutral, brown = live, green or green & yellow = earth.
The blue wire must be connected to the terminal marked N or coloured in black.
The brown wire must be connected to the terminal marked L or coloured in red.
The green (& yellow) wire must be connected to the terminal marked E or coloured in green (&
yellow).
BEFORE FIRST USE
Clean the grill and the accessories (Cf. CARE AND CLEANING). It is recommended to heat up
the barbecue grill for about 10 minutes without any foodstuff in order to eliminate the grease
that may have adhered during manufacture and the «new» smell.
OPERATION
•Place the aluminium reflector into the grill casing. Fill the grill tub with cold water (between
the minimum and maximum marks).
•Insert the holder and regulator part of the heating element into the notch at the front of the
grill tub and make sure the guide pins of the heating element lock in place in the foreseen
holes of the grill tub.
•Put the grill rack (2) on the heating element.
•The water in the grill tub will evaporate during use. It is therefore necessary to refill water
from time to time. Do not spill water on the heating element, as this could be dangerous.
•Connect the appliance and switch it on using the thermostat knob. The red pilot light will
light up to indicate that the appliance has been switched on.
•Preheat the grill for about 5 minutes with maximum power and then select the cooking
temperature using the thermostat knob.
•During cooking, the red pilot light will come on and off regularly. This simply means that the
thermostat is regulating the appliance's temperature.
•Now put the foodstuffs onto the grill rack.
•The grilling times vary according to the nature of the foodstuffs and to your personal taste.
•When grilling is finished, switch off the thermostat and disconnect the appliance.
PRACTICAL HINTS
•Frozen food should always be thawed before it is grilled.
•From time to time check the water level in the grill tub.

CARE AND CLEANING
•Before cleaning any domestic electrical appliance, always make sure that the plug has
been removed from the mains supply socket.
•Allow the grill to cool down thoroughly before cleaning.
•Take off the holder and regulator part with the heating element.
•Take off the grill casing, the reflector tray and the grill rack, wash them by hand (not in a
dishwasher) and dry them afterwards with a cloth.
•Wipe the outer surfaces of the grill with a damp cloth and dry afterwards.
•Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners.
GUARANTEE
Our products are covered by a guarantee of 2 years from date of purchase.
This guarantee covers all material and manufacturing defects. No guarantee claims will be
accepted for broken accessories, defects resulting from inappropriate use, excessive wear due
to intensive use, wrong use due to the non-observance of the instruction manual, or failure to
descale where appropriate or otherwise clean/maintain your item in line with the instructions
and good practise. No guarantee claims will be accepted if the appliance has been modified
or if some attempts have been made to repair the appliance. In such case, the vendor cannot
be held responsible in case of accidents.
In the event of claim, in the first instance, please contact your vendor and return him your
complete appliance in its original packaging together with the receipt/guarantee card. The
guarantee will only be valid if the date of purchase and signature of the vendor is clearly
indicated on the guarantee card or if a copy of the receipt is sent with the appliance that
needs repair.
Or send the appliance well packed and freight prepaid to our customer service with a short
description of the default in capital letters with the mention "Repair under guarantee" together
with the guarantee card or receipt.
In case of a defective accessory, the complete appliance will not be exchanged, but only the
accessory will be sent free of charge. In such case, do not return the complete appliance but
only order the accessory! In case of glass damages, glass spare parts will be charged.
Pieces undergoing wear and tear (e.g. Motor brushes, dough hooks, driving belts, spare
remote controls, spare toothbrushes, lighting, etc.) as well as cleaning and maintenance or the
exchange of worn out pieces are not covered by the guarantee and will thus be charged!
After the guarantee period
Repairs after the guarantee period can be performed at a charge by a competent qualified
technician or a repair service.
PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT– DIRECTIVE 2002/96/EC
In order to preserve our environment and protect human health, the waste electrical and
electronic equipment should be disposed of in accordance with specific rules with the
implication of both suppliers and users. For this reason, as indicated by the symbol on the
rating label or on the packaging, your appliance should not be disposed of as unsorted
municipal waste. The user has the right to bring it free of charge to a municipal collection point
performing waste recovery by means of reuse, recycling or use for other applications in
accordance with the directive.

qNe jamais utiliser l’appareil sans avoir, au préalable, vérifié le niveau d’eau du réservoir du
grill. Cette eau est indispensable car elle sert au refroidissement de l’appareil. Lors du
remplissage de ce réservoir, veuillez d’abord toujours débrancher l’appareil. Ne renversez
pas de l’eau sur la résistance. Ne dépassez pas le niveau Max. indiqué sur le réservoir du

qNe faites jamais usage de combustibles tels que charbon de bois, blocs de combustion,
liquides stimulants pour barbecue classiques,... pour accélérer ou augmenter l’élévation de
la température. Cet appareil ne peut avoir que comme source de chaleur sa résistance
chauffante. N’y ajoutez rien.
qNe couvrez pas cet appareil avec quoi que ce soit.
qLes préparations à l'huile ou à la graisse peuvent s'enflammer si elles sont surchauffées.
Soyez donc extrêmement prudent.
qVotre appareil ne doit jamais être mis en fonctionnement par le biais d’une minuterie
extérieure ou d’un autre système de commande à distance séparé.
(*) Service qualifié compétent: Service après vente du fabricant ou de l'importateur ou une
personne qualifiée, reconnue et habilitée à faire ce genre de réparation afin d'éviter tout

AVANT LA PREMIERE MISE EN MARCHE
Nettoyer le grill et les accessoires (Cfr. NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN). Il est conseillé de faire
chauffer le grill pendant 10 minutes sans aliments afin d'éliminer des restants éventuels de grais-
se et l'odeur du «neuf».
CONSEILS D’UTILISATION
•Poser le réflecteur en aluminium dans le support grill. Remplissez d’eau froide le réservoir
du grill (entre les marques minimum et maximum).
•Insérez le support et la partie réglable de l’élément chauffant dans l’encoche située à
l’avant du réservoir du grill et assurez-vous que les ergots de fixation de l’élément
chauffant se mettent bien en place dans les trous prévus à cet effet.
•Placer la grille de cuisson (2) sur la résistance.
•Attention: veiller à ce qu’il ne manque pas d’eau pendant toute la durée de la cuisson
car celle-ci aura tendance à s’évaporer. Eviter de verser de l’eau sur la résistance pour
éviter tout danger.
•Maintenant, brancher l’appareil. Mettre l’appareil en marche à l’aide du thermostat. Le
témoin lumineux rouge apparaîtra pour indiquer que l’appareil est en marche.
•Préchauffer le grill pendant environ 5 minutes à puissance maximale et alors mettre le
thermostat à la température désirée.
•Pendant la cuisson, le témoin lumineux rouge s'éteindra et se rallumera régulièrement.
Cela signifie simplement que le thermostat règle la température de l'appareil.
•Maintenant ajouter les aliments sur la grille.
•Le temps de cuisson dépend de la nature des aliments et de votre goût personnel.
•Après utilisation, éteindre le thermostat et retirer la prise.
CONSEILS PRATIQUES
•Faire dégeler les aliments congelés avant de les griller.
•Contrôlez de temps en temps le niveau d’eau du réservoir du grill.
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
•Avant de nettoyer tout appareil électrique, retirer d'abord la prise.
•Laisser refroidir le grill avant le nettoyage.

•Démonter le support grill, le plateau réflecteur et la grille de cuisson, lavez-les à la main
(pas au lave-vaisselle), puis les sécher.
•Nettoyer les surfaces extérieures du grill avec un chiffon légèrement humide et puis les
sécher.
•Ne pas utiliser des détergents agressifs.
GARANTIE
La garantie est valable pendant 2 ans à partir de la date d’achat de votre appareil.
Pendant cette période, les vices de fabrication et de matériaux sont couverts. Ne sont pas
couverts par la garantie, les bris de pièces ou d’accessoires, les défauts liés à un usage
détourné de l’appareil, à des usures excessives résultant d’usages intensifs et à tout autre
usage contraire aux instructions fournies. La garantie devient caduque lorsque le produit a été
modifié ou que des tentatives de réparation ont visiblement été faites. Ces manipulations
dégagent dans le même temps, la responsabilité du vendeur en cas d’accidents.
Pour toute intervention sous garantie, adressez-vous à votre revendeur et retournez-lui
l'appareil complet dans son emballage d'origine ainsi que la carte de garantie/le ticket de
caisse. La garantie est uniquement valable si la date d'achat et la signature du vendeur
figurent sur la carte de garantie ou si la copie du ticket de caisse est jointe.
Ou envoyez l'appareil bien emballé et dûment affranchi avec une courte description du
défaut en majuscules avec la mention "Réparation sous garantie" à notre service après-vente
en joignant également votre carte de garantie dûment complétée ou votre ticket de caisse.
Si des accessoires sont défectueux, l'appareil complet ne sera pas remplacé, mais les
accessoires seront échangés gratuitement. Dans ce cas, ne renvoyez donc pas l'appareil
complet mais commandez seulement l'accessoire défectueux!
En cas de verre cassé, le remplacement de l'accessoire concerné est payant.
L'endommagement des accessoires soumis à l'usure (par exemple les balais du moteur, les
fouets, les engrenages, les télécommandes de rechange, les brosses à dents de rechange, les
luminaires etc.) ainsi que le nettoyage et l'entretien ou l'échange de pièces usées ne sont pas
couverts par la garantie et l'échange de ces pièces sera donc payant!
Après la période de garantie
Les réparation après la période de garantie peuvent être effectuées par un service qualifié
compétent ou par un service de réparation moyennant payement.
PROTECTION DE L’ENVIRONNEMENT – DIRECTIVE 2002/96/CE
Afin de préserver notre environnement et notre santé, l’élimination en fin de vie des appareils
électriques et électroniques doit se faire selon des règles bien précises et nécessite
l’implication de chacun, qu’il soit fournisseur ou utilisateur. C’est pour cette raison que votre
appareil, tel que le signale le symbole apposé sur sa plaque signalétique ou sur
l'emballage, ne doit en aucun cas être jeté dans une poubelle publique ou privée destinée
aux ordures ménagères. L'utilisateur a le droit de déposer l'appareil gratuitement dans des lieux
publics de collecte procédant à un tri sélectif des déchets pour être soit recyclé, soit réutilisé
pour d’autres applications conformément à la directive.

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
qLees de gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig alvorens u uw toestel gebruikt.
qHet toestel mag enkel gebruikt worden zoals in deze gebruiksaanwijzing beschreven is.
qWanneer u dit toestel aan een andere gebruiker overhandigt, gelieve
altijd deze gebruiksaanwijzing bij te sluiten.
qControleer of de netspanning overeenkomt met deze van het toestel
vooraleer het te gebruiken.
qPersonen (kinderen inbegrepen) die wegens hun fysieke, sensoriële of
mentale capaciteiten, of wegens hun gebrek aan ervaring of kennis,
het toestel niet veilig kunnen gebruiken, mogen dit toestel niet zonder

qGebruik het toestel enkel voor huishoudelijk gebruik en op de wijze zoals vermeld in de
gebruiksaanwijzing.
qDompel het toestel nooit onder in water of in enige andere vloeistof, noch om het te
reinigen, noch om welke andere reden ook. Steek het nooit in een afwasmachine.
qGebruik geen accessoires die niet door de fabrikant aanbevolen werden. Dit kan
gevaarlijk zijn voor de gebruiker en het toestel beschadigen.
qTrek nooit aan het snoer om het toestel te verplaatsen. Zorg dat het elektriciteitssnoer
nergens kan achterhaken en daardoor de val van het toestel veroorzaken. Draai het
snoer niet rond het toestel en plooi het niet.
qZet het toestel op een effen, stabiel oppervlak.
qWanneer het toestel in werking is, kunnen toegankelijke delen ervan een zeer hoge
temperatuur bereiken. Let erop dat u die delen niet aanraakt en gebruik de handgrepen
of pannenlappen. Zorg ervoor dat niets het verwarmingselement aanraakt tijdens de
werking.
qHaal de stekker uit het stopcontact vooraleer u het toestel reinigt. Wacht tot het toestel
volledig is afgekoeld alvorens het te reinigen of op te bergen.
qTrek de stekker uit het stopcontact als het toestel niet in gebruik is.
qZorg ervoor dat de warme onderdelen van het toestel in gebruik niet in aanraking komen
met gemakkelijk ontvlambare materialen, zoals gordijnen, een tafelkleed,… en dergelijke
vermits deze in brand zouden kunnen vliegen. Plaats het toestel niet op hete
oppervlakken of in de buurt van open gasvlammen vermits de behuizing zou kunnen
smelten.
qKook enkel etenswaren geschikt om te grillen en voor consumptie.
qHet is noodzakelijk om dit toestel proper te houden vermits het in direct contact komt met
etenswaren.
qDit toestel nooit gebruiken zonder bij voorbaat het waterpeil van de grillkuip te hebben
gecontroleerd. Dit water is onmisbaar voor het afkoelen van het toestel. Trek steeds de
stekker uit het stopcontact alvorens de grillkuip te vullen. Mors geen water op het
verwarmingselement. Overschrijd het maximumpeil niet dat in de grillkuip aangegeven
staat.

qGebruik nooit brandstoffen zoals houtskool, brandblokken, stimulerende vloeistoffen voor
klassieke barbecues om de temperatuur te verhogen. Dit toestel kan enkel verwarmd
worden met zijn verwarmingsweerstand. Voeg hieraan niets toe.
qBedek dit apparaat nooit.
qOlie- of vetbereidingen kunnen in brand vliegen bij oververhitting. Wees dus zeer
voorzichtig.
qUw toestel mag nooit worden aangezet door middel van een externe timer of een
separaat systeem met afstandsbediening.
(*) Bekwame gekwalificeerde dienst: klantendienst van de fabrikant of de invoerder, die
erkend en bevoegd is om dergelijke herstellingen te doen zodat elk gevaar vermeden wordt.
Gelieve het toestel bij problemen naar deze dienst terug te brengen.
VOOR HET EERSTE GEBRUIK
De barbecue-grill inclusief de hulpstukken eerst reinigen (zie REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD). Bij het
aanzetten kunnen er geurtjes en rook ontstaan. Dit is normaal, het zijn resten van oliën die bij
fabricage niet verwijderd werden. Het is daarom aangeraden het toestel ongeveer 10 minuten
te laten werken zonder voedsel te bereiden.
RAADGEVINGEN VOOR DE MONTAGE EN HET GEBRUIK
•Plaats de aluminium reflector in de grillhouder. Vul de grillkuip met koud water (tussen de
minimum- en maximummarkering).
•Schuif het houder- en regeldeel van het verwarmingselement vooraan in de uitsparing
van de grillkuip en zorg ervoor dat de pinnen aan de verwarmingsspiraal in de daartoe
voorziene openingen in de grillkuip bevestigd worden.
•Leg nu het grillrooster (2) op het verwarmingselement.
•Zorg ervoor dat tijdens het gebruik het waterpeil behouden blijft (dit kan door
verdamping verminderen). Indien nodig bijvullen. Giet in geen enkel geval water
rechtstreeks op het verwarmingselement – het zou hierdoor beschadigd kunnen worden.
•Steek de stekker van het toestel in het stopcontact en schakel het toestel aan met de
traploze thermostaat. Het rode controlelampje licht op.
•Laat de grill nu ongeveer 5 minuten voorverwarmen op de hoogste stand. Zet dan de
thermostaat op de door u gewenste stand.
•Tijdens het gebruik zal het rode controlelampje regelmatig aan- en uitgaan. Dit betekent
dat de thermostaat de juiste temperatuur regelt.
•Leg de etenswaren op het rooster.
•De grilltijd is verschillend en wordt bepaald door het soort vlees dat u er op legt.
•Na beëindiging de thermostaat naar de minimumstand draaien en de netstekker uit het
stopcontact verwijderen.
PRAKTISCHE TIPS
•Diepgevroren etenswaren voor gebruik ontdooien.
•Controleer van tijd tot tijd het waterpeil in de grillkuip.
REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD
•Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact vooraleer u het toestel reinigt.
•De grill laten afkoelen.
•Neem het houder- en regeldeel met de verwarmingsspiraal uit de grillhouder.

•U kunt nu de grillhouder, de reflectorschaal en het grillrooster demonteren, met de hand
afwassen (niet in een vaatwasmachine) en met een doek afdrogen.
•Reinig de buitenkant van de barbecue-grill enkel met een vochtige doek en droog
daarna af met een droge doek.
•GEEN agressieve of schurende schoonmaakmiddelen gebruiken.
GARANTIE
De garantie dekt onze producten gedurende twee jaar na aankoopdatum.
Tijdens deze garantieperiode worden materiaal- of fabrieksfouten gedekt. Op de waarborg
kan geen aanspraak gemaakt worden voor breekbare onderdelen, of voor defecten ten
gevolge van gebruik voor verkeerde doeleinden, van overmatige slijtage door intensief
gebruik, of van foutief gebruik wegens de niet-naleving van de gebruiksaanwijzing. Op de
waarborg kan ook geen aanspraak worden gemaakt indien het toestel gewijzigd werd of
indien er pogingen tot herstelling werden uitgevoerd. In dit geval kan de verkoper ook niet
aansprakelijk worden gehouden in geval van ongevallen.
Voor herstellingen die door de waarborg gedekt worden, gelieve contact op te nemen met
de verkoper waar u het toestel gekocht hebt en overhandig hem het volledige toestel in zijn
oorspronkelijke verpakking samen met uw kasticket/garantiekaart. De garantie geldt enkel
wanneer de aankoopdatum door stempel en handtekening van de verkoper op de
garantiekaart aangeduid is of indien een kopij van het kasticket bijgesloten wordt.
Of stuur uw toestel goed verpakt en gefrankeerd met een korte beschrijving van de defecten
in blokletters met als aantekening "Herstelling onder garantie" samen met de garantiekaart
en/of kasticket naar onze klantendienst.
Defecte accessoires leiden niet tot het omruilen van het toestel, maar gratis vervangen.
Gelieve in dit geval niet het toestel terug te sturen, maar enkel de defecte accessoires.
Gebroken glas kan mits betaling vervangen worden.
Accessoires die defect zijn wegens slijtage (bijvoorbeeld motorborstels, kneedhaken,
drijfriemen, vervangafstandsbedieningen, vervangtandenborstels, verlichting enz.) evenals
reiniging, onderhoud of het vervangen van onderdelen die aan slijtage onderhevig zijn
worden niet door de garantie gedekt en moeten dus betaald worden.
Na afloop van de garantieperiode
Herstellingen na afloop van de garantieperiode kunnen mits betaling door bekwame
gekwalificeerde vaklui of herstellingsdiensten uitgevoerd worden.
MILIEUBESCHERMING – RICHTLIJN 2002/96/EG
Om ons milieu en onze gezondheid te beschermen, moet afgedankte elektrische en
elektronische apparatuur in overeenstemming met welbepaalde regels weggegooid worden.
Dit vergt zowel de inzet van de leveranciers als van de gebruikers. Om deze reden mag uw
apparaat, zoals op het typeplaatje of op de verpakking aangegeven door het symbool ,
niet met het gewone huisvuil weggegooid worden. De gebruiker heeft het recht het toestel
gratis naar een gemeentelijk centrum van gescheiden inzameling te brengen waar het
overeenkomstig de richtlijn hergebruikt, gerecycleerd of voor andere doeleinden gebruikt zal
worden.
