ongratulations on your purchase of the Einstein Eye Trainer. Now, you
can challenge and train your vision anywhere. Einstein Eye Trainer
offers varying levels of challenging games, easy, intuitive controls and more!
Albert Einstein is probably best known for his famous formula,
E=mc

, but this German-born theoretical physicist made unparalleled
contributions to modern scientifi c thought. In the fi eld of physics, he
introduced his special theory and general theory of relativity and, in 1921,
his work on the photoelectric effect won him the Nobel Prize in Physics.
To conserve battery life, this unit will automatically
shut off if left inactive.

BATTERY INSTALLATION

he battery compartments are

ocated on the back of the unit.
Using a small Phillips screwdriver, remove each compartment
cover.
• Install 2 fresh, alkaline AAA batteries, making sure to match the
polarity (+ and -) as shown on the diagram inside of the battery
compartments.
• Replace the covers and screw in fi rmly.
NOTE
: After inserting new batteries, if the unit does not work
properly, press
the RESET button.

STYLUS
The stylus is located on the side of the unit held in a built-in compartment.
Slide the stylus out for use and in for storage.

GAME
MODES
Eye Trainer has fi ve game modes:
• Dynamic Training
• Panorama Training
• Snap Training
• Hand-Eye Coordination
• Eye Gym
Eye Trainer has a total of 12 games. Each
training mode has two games except
for Hand-Eye Coordination and Snap
Training, which have three games each.

seconds to turn the unit off manually.
GETTING STARTED
Touch the
ON/ENTER
key to the turn
the unit on. The opening screen will be
displayed followed by a melody. The
month will be fl ashing. Set the month by
pressing or holding the UP or DOWN
key, or just touch the fl ashing icon.
For example, touch the UP key fi ve times
to set the month to JUNE. Press the RIGHT
button or touch the day and then press or
hold the UP/DOWN button to set the day.
Then set the year the same way you set the
day. Press the UP or DOWN button or touch
the icon to select the “12H” or “24H” time
system. Then set the time in same way. To
correct, press the LEFT key to move the
cursor or touch the icon you want to correct.
Touch the ENTER key to confi rm and
return to the player selection screen.

ETTING UP PLAYERS
Your Eye Trainer tracks information
for two separate users. Each user
can keep and check his or her own
scores. The following screen will be
displayed after you set the date and time.
An arrow is visible in front of PLAYER
1. Press the ENTER button to call up the
cursor. Input your name by using the UP
and DOWN buttons. Press the RIGHT
button to move the cursor forward. Press
the LEFT button to delete a letter and
move the cursor back. Or hold the LEFT
button for two seconds to delete all the
letters you input. If you do not input your
name, you canʼt proceed. You can set
the name for PLAYER 2 in same way.
Press the ON/ENTER button
to enter the main menu screen.

MAIN MENU
Scroll through this list by pressing the UP
and DOWN buttons. Then press the ON/
ENTER button to confi rm your selection.
1. DAILY TRAINING
There are fi ve games in Daily Training.
These fi ve games are randomly chosen
from 12 games. It is advised to play all
the daily games continuously to exercise
your eyes and to check your eyesight score
every day. You can play the daily games
only one time in a day. The details how
to play the game will be described below.
If you fi nish all the games in Daily
Training, your score will be displayed as
such:
The best eyesight score is 20 and the
worst eyesight score is 80. Your eyesight
score will be recorded in the DATA.
Press the ENTER button to
enter to the main menu screen.
2. SELECTIVE TRAINING
In the
MAIN MENU
screen, press the UP
or DOWN button to select the SELECTIVE
TRAINING and press the ENTER to
confi rm. There are 12 games in the selective
training. You can play these games at any
time. Your scores for each game will be
recorded in the DATA. The details how
to play the game will be described below.
3. DATA
In the
MAIN MENU
screen, press the UP
or DOWN button to select the DATA and
press the ENTER to confi rm. Press the UP/
DOWN keys to the data of daily training
and the records of selective training for 12
games. The screen will be shown as follows:
If you select the DAILY TRAINING,
you can view your eyesight score.

TRAINING, you can view the by day, by
month or best record for 12 games. The
screen will be shown as follows

1. EYESIGHT SCORE
(Daily Training)
After youʼve selected the EYESIGHT
SCORE, press ENTER to confi rm your
eyesight score histogram. Up to 15 days
will be displayed. The eyesight score
histogram of current day will fl ash. You
can press the LEFT or RIGHT button to
view the eyesight score of the other days.
You can press the LEFT and RIGHT
button to view the detail eyesight score
for the selected day. The histogram you
selected will fl ash and the score will
display on the screen. If you have not
played the game, the histogram for that
day is empty and the word “NIL” will
display on the screen. If your score is 0%,
the histogram for that day is empty and the
score “0%” will also display on the screen.

2. RECORDS
(Selective Training)
After youʼve selected the SELECTIVE
TRAINING, press ENTER to confi rm.
Then you can select to view the day score,
month score and best record for 12 games.
A. BY DAY (LAST 10 DAY)
In the BY DAY record screen, the
histogram shows your % score of each day
for the current month. Press the LEFT or
RIGHT key to view the detail record for
other days. The detail day and score will
display on the right top of the screen. Up to
10 day records can be displayed on a page.
Press the LEFT or RIGHT key to select
another day to view. If you havenʼt played
the game in several days, your score on
the upper-right corner of the screen
will be
empty
when you press the LEFT or RIGHT
key to view it. If you play the game more
than once per day, the unit will show your
best score for that day. The screen will
look similar to the eyesight score screen.
In the
BY DAY
histogram screen, the
BY DAY histogram screen, the BY DAY
histogram for the current day will fl ash.
You can press the LEFT and RIGHT
button to view the detailed score for
a particular day. The histogram you
selected will fl ash and the score will be
displayed on the screen. If you have not
played the game, the histogram for that
day is empty and the word “NIL” will be
displayed on the screen. If your score is
0%, the histogram for that day is empty
and the score “0%” will also be displayed
on the screen, similar to the following:

B. BY MONTH (LAST 12 MONTHS)
In the BY MONTH record screen, the
histogram shows your average % score
for each day you played during a specifi c
month. Press the LEFT or RIGHT key to
select another month to view. The detail
month and score will be displayed on the
right top of the screen. Up to 12 months

of records can be displayed on a page. If
you havenʼt played the game in a month,
your score for that month is empty.
In the monthly histogram screen, the
histogram for the current month will fl ash.
You can press the LEFT and RIGHT
to view a detailed score for a particular
month. The histogram you selected
will fl ash and the average score will be
displayed on the screen. If you have not
played the game, the histogram for that
month is empty and the word “NIL” will
be displayed on the screen. If your score is
0%, the histogram for that month is empty
and the score “0%” will also be displayed
on the screen, similar to the following:

C. BEST RECORD
In the BEST RECORD screen, you
can view your overall best Eye Trainer
record. Press the BACK button
to return to the previous screen
4. SET UP
If you select the SETUP menu option,
will bring up a list of setup features that
you can change to suit your needs. You
can edit your name, delete data, edit
the time and date, turn the sound off
or on, show correct answer, adjust the
scrolling speed and adjust the contrast.
Select the SETUP menu option from
the main menu to display the following:
1. NAME EDIT
If you select the NAME EDIT menu
option, you can change the current playerʼs
name. Press ENTER to confi rm and enter
to the name editing screen. A warning
message “DATA WILL BE LOST!”
will be shown when you enter NAME
EDIT. You can select “Y” to confi rm
that you want to change your name and
clear your records. Press “N” to cancel
and keep your name and your records.
2. DELETE DATA
If you select the DELETE DATA
menu option, you can delete
all data for the current player.
3. TIME & DATE
If you select the TIME & DATE menu
option, you can view the date and time
or press the ENTER to change the date
and time. All data will be cleared if you
change the day, the month or the year. Your
score is kept if you only change the time.
4. SOUND
If you select the SOUND menu option,
you can turn the sound on or off.
5. SHOW CORRECT ANSWER
If you select the SHOW CORRECT
ANSWER menu option, you can see the
correct answer when you select the wrong
answer while playing the game.

6. SCROLL SPEED
If you select the SCROLL SPEED
menu option, you can adjust the speed
of menu items that are too long to fi t on
the screen at once. There are 6 scrolling
levels you can select. Use LEFT and
RIGHT to select your scrolling speed.
7. CONTRAST
If you select the CONTRAST menu
option, you can select the correct contrast
for reading in any light. There are 6
contrast levels you can select. Use LEFT
and RIGHT to select your contrast.
PLAYING THE GAMES
MODE 1: DYNAMIC TRAINING
GAME 1: VISUAL ACCURACY
The objective of this game is to guess where
the die is when all the cups stop moving.
The cups and die will change position more
and more quickly to confuse your eyes.
Finally you must point out where the die is.
GAME 2. HOW MANY
The objective of this game is to
watch the numbers as they scroll then
disappear. You must remember how
often a selected number was displayed.
For example, in the picture above, these

select the correct answer in this example.
MODE 2: PANORAMA TRAINING
GAME 1: FIND THE SAME
The objective of this game is to fi nd the
fi gure that matches the fi gure in the middle.
For example in the above picture,
all the fi gures will appear on the
screen for 0.5 seconds then disappear
except for the fi gure in the middle.
Touch the position where the matching
fi gure was. In this case, it is the fi gure
that to the right of the center of the screen.
GAME 2. FIND THE RECTANGLE
The objective of this game is to fi nd the
rectangle out of the fi gures that appear.
Figures will appear on the screen for
a short time then disappear. Only one

fi gure will be a complete rectangle.
For example, in the above picture,
touch the second fi gure position on
the fi rst line to select the correct
answer after all the fi gures disappear.
MODE 3: SNAP TRAINING
GAME 1: COUNT THE SHAPE
The objective of this game is to
remember the different fi gures and
give a total count of a specifi ed fi gure.
For example, in the previous
picture, different fi gures will appear
on the screen and then disappear.
A question will be displayed as in the
following picture. You can simply touch
the number 3 to select the correct answer.
GAME 2: CONCENTRATION
The objective of this game
is to snap the picture.
First, picture A will appear and disappear.
Then picture B will appear and disappear.
Finally, either picture A or picture B
will be displayed and you will be asked
which picture it is: A or B. Touch the
corresponding letter to select your answer.
If you select the wrong answer the correct
answer will be displayed. Touch any button
to view picture A, B and the correct answer.
For example, in the top picture, the
picture A appears on the screen for 0.5
seconds and disappears after which
picture B appears on the screen for
0.5 seconds and disappears. You must

elect which picture is shown

GAME 3: SNAP
The objective of this game is
to remember the numbers and
input them as they were shown.
For example, the numbers “10023” appear
on the screen for 0.5 seconds and disappear.
Remember the numbers and input them
in the order in which they were shown.
MODE 4:
HAND-EYE COORDINATION
GAME 1: SEQUENCE
The objective of this game is
to remember and fi gure out the
letter position from ʻAʼ to ʻZʼ.
For example, some letters will
display upside-down or reverse.
You must quickly remember the
order of the characters from A to Z.
GAME 2: CATCH THE BUTTERFLY
The objective of this game is to
quickly catch the fl ying butterfl y
within a certain amount of time.
A fl ying butterfl y will appear on the
screen and fl y to different positions. You
must catch it quickly. Your score depends
on how fast you catch the butterfl y.
Use the stylus to catch the butterfl y.

GAME 3: EYE TEST

The objective of this game is to remember
the fi gures that scroll from right to left.
Some fi gures will scroll from the left to
right on the fi rst line of the screen. You
must remember the direction of these
fi gures, and press the corresponding
direction button as your answer. The game
is over if you select the wrong answer.
Your score will be displayed on the screen.

according the fi gure direction on the fi rst
line, you can simply press the “LEFT, UP,
DOWN, RIGHT, LEFT” button to select.

MODE 5: EYE GYM TRAINING
GAME 1: SIMON-GYM
The objective of this game is to see
and remember the fi gures in sequence.
Eight different fi gures will appear at
random during play. 3-4 fi gures will appear
in each question. The 8 fi gures are below:
For example, in the top picture, the
fi rst fi gure appears on the left top of
the screen and disappears. Then the
second fi gures appear on the right top
of the screen and disappears. And then
the third fi gure appears on the lower
portion of the screen and disappears.
Touch the fi gure in the above picture
in sequence to select the answer.
GAME 2: EYE GYM
The objective of this game is to
quickly view the different fi gures
and judge if they are the same.
For example, a fi gure on the left-top
corner will appear for 0.25 second and
then disappear, then the fi gure on the
lower left corner will appear, you must
touch the “√” or “X” to answer if these
two fi gures are the same. Then a fi gure
on the right-top corner will appear for
a certain time and then disappear, then
the fi gure on the lower right corner will
appear, you must touch the “√” or “X” to
answer if these two fi gures are the same.
