Safety Rules
This product was designed for certain applications
only. Elecor strongly recommends that this product
not be modified and/or used for any purpose other
than that for which it was designed.
CAUTION
Use care when lifting the Multi-Purpose Wire Cart.
Unload spools first. Do not use as a step or ladder.
Capacity
Holds up to six 2,500’ spools up to 16” in diameter, or
fifteen 500” spools, 7” diameter by 5” wide.
Tools Required for Assembly
7/16-inch wrench or socket. Channel lock or vise grip
pliers.

One Year Limited Warranty
Elecor will repair or replace, at its expense and at its option, any Elecor product or accessory which in normal use
has proven to be defective in workmanship or material, provided that the customer notifies his supplying distributor of
the alleged defect within one year from the date of delivery. If requested by Elecor customer must provide
reasonable opportunity to verify the defect by inspection. Elecor will not be responsible for any asserted defect
which has resulted from misuse, abuse, repair or alteration. Under no circumstances will Elecor be liable for
incidental or consequential damages resulting from defective products. This warranty is Elecor’s sole warranty and
sets forth the customer’s exclusive remedy with respect to defective products; all other warranties, expressed or
implied, whether of merchantability, fitness for purpose, or otherwise, are expressly disclaimed by Elecor.

Hardware
The hardware for assembling the Multi-Purpose Wire
Cart is enclosed in the MH8220-I Hardware Kit (bag).
The kit contains the items shown below.
Assembly Instructions
1With Support Frame (A) on flat surface, push
down firmly on Frame Connector (C) until Ball
Pin in Support Frame (A) snaps into hole in Frame
Connector (C)as shown in Figure 1. Repeat for the
second Frame Connector.

2Line up Support Frame (B) over the Frame
Connectors (C). Push down until Ball Pins in
Support Frame (B) snap into the holes in the Frame
Connectors (C) as shown in Figure 2.
3With Wire Guide facing down, position the Top
Frame Connector (D) in between the Support
Frames (A and B). Secure using the 1/4-20 x 1-1/2”
Carriage Bolt (1), 1/4 “x 1/2” Flat Washer (2), and ¼-
20 Nylon-Insert Locknut (3) as shown in Figure 3.
4With the unit in a horizontal position, insert the
Bottom Frame Connector (E) into the holes in
the Support Frames (A and B). Push down equally on
both sides until Ball Pins in the Bottom Frame
Connector (E) snap into the holes in the Support
Frames (A and B) as shown in Figure 4.
5Stand the unit in a vertical position. Insert the
Zinc Plated Wheel Axle (G) through the bottom
hole of Support Frame (A). Using Wheels (H), 3/4” x
1-1/2” Flat Washers (4), 1-1/2” Cotter Pins (5) secure
Wheels and Axle as shown in Figure 5.
NOTE: After inserting 1-1/2” Cotter Pins (5) through
holes in
Wheel Axle
(G), bend
both sides of
Cotter Pin
upward to
lock in place.
6Insert the Zinc Plated Reel Shafts (F) through
the holes in the front of Support Frames (A
and B),
secure using
3 x 65 Hitch
Pin Clips (6)
as shown in
Figure 6.
