INTRODUCTION
The LIMA1™ Laser Sight provides intuitive and accurate target acquisition
resulting in the ideal rail-mounted sighting solution for pistols, rifles,
carbines and shotguns. The LIMA1™ can be mounted on all M1913
Picatinny rails as well as all SIG Sauer proprietary pistol rails.
The LIMA1™ is covered by the SIG SAUER Electro-Optics Electronics &
Tritium Component Limited 5-Year Warranty.
CONTENTS:
INSTALLATION:
1. Insert the T10 TORX bit of the adjustment tool into the cross bolt Torx
head and loosen the LIMA1 cross bolt enough to allow the rail clamp and
keeper to fit completely over the firearm rail. Place the cross bolt into the
preferred rail slot.
2. While pushing the LIMA1 forward (toward the firearm muzzle), use the T10
TORX bit of the adjustment tool to tighten the cross bolt head until hand tight.
3. Using the flat screwdriver bit of the adjustment tool, unscrew the
battery cap and remove the small black rubber battery carrier.
4. Place a CR1/3N battery inside the battery carrier, with the 2 open
loops of the carrier at the positive (+) end (Fig 1).
5. Insert the battery and carrier into the LIMA1
housing, positive (+) end facing out. There
are 2 slots on the inside walls of the battery
compartment, to allow the battery carrier to slip
easily into the compartment. The carrier must
be aligned with these 2 slots. The purpose of the
battery carrier is to make battery removal easier.
6. Using the flat screwdriver bit of the adjustment
tool, tighten the battery cap until hand tight.
OPERATION:
The LIMA1 has 2 modes of operation – LATCHING (constantly on) and
MOMENTARY. To activate latching mode, press and release either
activation switch within 1 second. Another press of either activation
switch will turn the laser off. To activate momentary mode, press and
hold either activation switch for over 1 second. In momentary mode, the
laser will stay on as long as you keep pressing the activation switch and
will turn off when you release the switch.
ALIGNING THE LASER
1. Verify initial alignment by comparing the laser aiming point to the
firearm iron sights at a 10-yard target distance. The laser aiming point
should be located slightly above the front iron sight.
2. To make adjustments, insert the 1.5mm hex bit of the adjustment
tool into either the windage adjustment port or the elevation adjustment
port and slowly rotate the adjustment tool while comparing the laser
aiming point to the firearm iron sight alignment. Important: Do not force
the adjustment screws beyond their limits of travel, and do not back the
elevation screw out any further than flush with the LIMA1 housing. Doing
so may result in damage to the laser, not covered under warranty.
3. Windage Adjustment: with firearm unloaded, chamber clear and
muzzle pointing downrange insert adjustment tool into windage
port. A clockwise rotation will shift laser aiming point to the right. A
counterclockwise rotation will shift laser aiming point to the left.
4. Elevation Adjustment: with firearm unloaded, chamber clear and
muzzle pointing downrange insert adjustment tool into elevation port.
A clockwise rotation will shift laser aiming point up. A counterclockwise
rotation will shift laser aiming point down.
5. Verify laser alignment by shooting a target and making additional
adjustments as required.
NOTE: The laser may experience slight alignment shift after firing for the
first time. Recheck alignment after the first use and readjust as necessary.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT
1. Using the flat screwdriver bit of the adjustment tool, unscrew the
battery cap.
2. Use the open loops of the battery carrier to help pull the battery from
the housing. If the battery carrier is lost, needle nose pliers can be used
to gently pull the old battery out of the housing.
3. Place a fresh CR1/3N battery inside the battery carrier, with the 2 open
loops of the carrier at the positive (+) end (Fig 1).
4. Insert the battery and carrier into the LIMA1 housing, positive (+)
end facing out (Fig 1). There are 2 slots on the inside walls of the
battery compartment, to allow the battery carrier to slip easily into the
compartment. The carrier must be aligned with these 2 slots.
5. Using the flat screwdriver bit of the adjustment tool, tighten the
battery cap until hand tight.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
After repeated fire, the small lens in front of the laser may become
clouded with gunpowder residue. For best results, it is recommended
that this area be cleaned, along with the firearm, after each use. To clean
the lens, follow these steps:
1. Keep firearm pointed in a safe direction
2. Ensure firearm is unloaded
3. Confirm laser is off
4. Dampen the end of a cotton swab with isopropyl alcohol
5. Apply dampened swab to lens and polish in a small circular pattern.
Be sure to clean around the lens edge
Firearm should be cleaned and lubricated exactly as directed in your
firearm owner’s manual. The LIMA1™ laser sight should never be sub-
merged or flushed with cleaning solvents.
REMINDER: Pointing a laser beam at some objects such as watercraft, air-
craft, moving vehicles and construction equipment may be illegal. Check
local/federal laws and follow them accordingly.
WWDANGER: Laser radiation is emitted from the front aperture of this
device when the activation switch is depressed.
WWWARNING: Avoid direct eye exposure to laser beam.
NOTICE: The FDA requires warning labels to be affixed to firearm. Attach
Label 1 pointing towards laser aperture. Attach Label 2 to exterior of
