General Description:
TheElectro-Voice®PlasmaP2isanewgenerationofhi-power
compactsubwoofers.DesignedforEV’sPlasmaP1speakers,
it’sanidealsystemextensionforPlasmaP1poweredspeakers.
A class H amplifier requires no fans for quiet operation,
lowmaintenance, andlong-term reliability. Coupledwith
signal processing for linear acoustic response, and
unobtrusive protection it delivers the power required for
high-level reinforcement. Dynamic linearity is another
benefitof amplifiersdesignedfor systemintegration with
large format transducer motors.
The Patented LPN (Low-Pass-Notch) filter compensates for
transientdistortionofdynamicsignalsandallows,thePlasma
P2 to achieve a higher acoustic output than expected from a
compactcabinet.
P1’sapplications areforwherethehighest qualitysound
is required; Theater, A/V, Stage monitoring, Sound re-
inforcement.
