PREPARATION FOR USE
POWER SOURCE
This system is designed to operate on normal 120V 60Hz AC only. Attempting to operate this system from
any other power source may cause damage to the system, and such damage is not covered by your warranty.
Connect the AC adapter to the power outlet, as shown below.

UNPACKING AND SETUP
• Carefully remove the unit from the display carton and remove all
packing material from the unit.
• Unwind the AC power cord and extend it to its full length.
• Place the unit on a stable, level surface, close to an AC outlet, out
of direct sunlight, and away from sources of excess heat, dust,
moisture, humidity, or strong magnetic elds.
• Raise the lid to expose the phonograph. The phonograph has
been secured for shipment with a transit screw. Use a coin or
screwdriver to TURN THETRANSIT SCREW CLOCKWISE.This will
allow the turntable to“oat”and turn freely.
• Remove the plastic stylus cover from the phonograph stylus by
sliding it in the direction of the arrow.
• Discard the stylus cover.
• Remove the twist-tie that was used to secure the tone arm
during shipment.
• Release the tone arm lock lever.
• Connect the AC adapter to the power outlet.
RAISING AND LOWERING THE LID
IMPORTANT:
To open the lid, raise it as far as it will go until the lid support bracket "locks" in the open position.To close
the lid, lift it upward slightly and pull the bracket gently towards you until the bracket "unlocks", and then
gently lower the lid.
TO AVOID DAMAGINGTHE CABINET OR THE LID, NEVER FORCETHE LID CLOSED. ALWAYS RAISETHE LIDTO
RELEASETHE LID SUPPORT BRACKET.
PROTECT YOUR FURNITURE
This model is equipped with non-skid rubber "feet" to prevent the product from moving when you operate
the controls.These‘feet’are made from non-migrating rubber material specially formulated to avoid
leaving any marks or stains on your furniture. However, certain types of oil based furniture polishes, wood
preservatives, or cleaning sprays may cause the rubber "feet" to soften, and leave marks or a rubber residue
on the furniture.To prevent any damage to your furniture we strongly recommend that you purchase small
self-adhesive felt pads, available at hardware stores and home improvement centers everywhere, and
apply these pads to the bottom of the rubber "feet" before you place the product on ne wooden furniture.

POWERING ON THE UNIT
1. Connect the AC Adapter to the AC POWER Socket on the side of the unit.
2. To turn the system ON, rotate the POWER/VOLUME button clockwise until a "click" is heard and set the
volume to a low level.
3. When you have nished using the system, rotate the POWER/VOLUME button counter-clockwise until
a "click" is heard to turn o the unit.
AUX IN OPERATION
This unit provides an auxiliary audio signal input jack for connecting external audio devices like MP3
players, CD players and older, non-dockable iPods (except iPod shue 3rd gen) so you can listen to your
external source through the speakers of this system.
1. Set the AUX-PHONO/USB mode selector to the AUX position.
2. Use an audio cable (not included) with one 3.5 mm stereo connection on each end of the cable.
3. Plug one end into the AUX-IN jack on the main unit and the other end to the the Line-out Jack or
Headphone Jack of audio device.
4. Power ON both devices.
5. The volume level can now be controlled through the main unit. Operate all other functions on the
auxiliary device as usual.
NOTE
• If the Line Out Jack of your external device is connected, then you only need to adjust the volume
control of this system. If the Headphone Jack of your external device is connected, then you may need
to adjust both the volume control of your external device and the volume control of this system to nd
the optimal volume setting.
• The turntable still functions in AUX mode however no sound will come from the speakers.
• Make sure tone arm is securely locked to the tone arm rest to avoid any damage.
• Rotate the POWER/VOLUME button counter-clockwise until a "click" is heard to turn o the unit when
you are done. Don't forget to turn o the power on your external device as well.
PLAYING RECORDS
This system includes a full-size, 3-speed, belt-drive turntable that plays 33, 45 and 78 RPM records.
1. To turn the system ON, rotate the POWER/VOLUME button clockwise until a "click" is heard and set the
volume to a low level.
2. Set the AUX-PHONO/USB mode selector to the PHONO position. Please be sure that you have removed
the stylus cover from the stylus and have released theTone Arm Lock.
3. Set the turntable speed switch to the appropriate speed: 33, 45, or 78 RPM. Set the record onto the
turntable. If you are playing 45 RPM singles, place the 45 RPM adapter on the center spindle.
4. Raise the cue lever to lift the tone arm o its rest. Move the tone arm to the edge of the record. The
turntable will start automatically. Use the cue lever to gently lower the tone arm onto the record.
5. Adjust theVOLUME control to set the volume as desired.

6. When the tone arm reaches the end of the record it automatically returns to the tone arm rest and the
record player stops.
7. Rotate the POWER/VOLUME button counter-clockwise until a "click" is heard to turn o the unit when
you are done.
USB OPERATION
1. Set the AUX-PHONO/USB mode selector to the PHONO position.
2. Insert the USB device into the USB input on the system; the player will automatically play the rst
track on the USB device.
3. Press the Skip - or Skip + buttons to choose your desired track.
4. Press the 10+ button to choose the desired track to play and advancing 10 tracks at a time.
5. Rotate the POWER/VOLUME button counter-clockwise until a "click" is heard to turn o the unit when
you are done.
REMOVING THE USB DRIVE
Please be sure to stop playback and turn the unit o before removing the USB drive to avoid damage to the
USB and the system.
Since PHONO/USB are a combined function, when playing a record with a USB connected, the
player will default to playing the record. Stop the record player when using the USB input.
Do not turn or stop the turntable manually. Moving or jarring the turntable without securing
the Tone Arm Clamp could damage the Tone Arm.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
REPLACING THE STYLUS
1. Lift the tone arm o the tone arm rest.
2. At the front end of the tone arm, place the tip of your ngernail between the stylus holder and the
cartridge housing as shown, press down on the stylus holder until it separates from the cartridge
housing.
3. Completely remove the stylus holder with worn stylus and discard it.
4. Place the new stylus holder with stylus under the cartridge housing. First, press upward on the back
sideof the stylus holder, andthen pressup onthe frontedge of thestylusholder untilit snapsintoplace
on the cartridge housing.
TRANSPORTING THE SYSTEM
IMPORTANT!
To protect the turntable from damage during transportation, a silver transit screw is located at the upper
right of the turntable platform.
1. Before playing, please use a screwdriver to turn the transit screw in clockwise direction (screw going
down) completely to unlock the turntable.
2. To lock the turntable again for transportation, please turn screw in counter-clockwise direction.
CARE OF THE CABINET
Care of the cabinet is the same as any piece of furniture. When the cabinet is dusty, you may wipe it using
a soft, non-abrasive dust cloth. If the cabinet becomes smudged with ngerprints, you may use any good
quality commercial dusting and polishing spray cleaner. DO NOT SPRAY ANY PLASTIC OR METAL PARTS
OF THIS SYSTEM. We recommend spraying the cleaner on the cloth, not directly on the cabinet, to avoid
any over spray on any plastic or metal components.

TO REPLACE THE CARTRIDGE FROM TONE ARM PLEASE FOLLOW THE PROCEDURES BELOW.
1. Please unplug the unit before replacing
the cartridge
2. Gently lift o the tone arm from the
tone arm rest.
3. By using your left hand to hold the
tone arm and using your right hand to
hold the rear portion of the cartridge.
Then push the cartridge backwards and
downwards according to the direction
as shown to the left to separate the
cartridge from the tone arm.
4. Using either a tweezer or your ngers,
carefully unplug the terminals from
the cartridge.
5. Carefully connect the terminals to the
new cartridge (not included).
6. To re-install the new cartridge to the
tone arm. First pleaselock the front end
of the new cartridge on the hook of the
tone arm.
7. Press the rear side of the new cartridge
upwards to lock it on to the tone arm.
CAUTION: Please don’t damage the stylus when installing the new cartridge.

product cannot be repaired, we will replace the product. If the product has been discontinued, we will replace
the product with either the newest version of said product or current equivalent. Replacement parts furnished
in connection with this warranty shall be warranted to a period equal to the unexpired portion of the original
product warranty.
This warranty shall not apply to:
A. Any defects caused or repairs required as a result of abusive operation, negligence, accident, improper
installation or inappropriate use as outlined in the owner’s manual.
B. Any Electrohome product tampered with, modied, adjusted or repaired by any party other than
Electrohome.
C. Any cosmetic damage to the surface or exterior that has been defaced or caused by normal wear and tear.
D. Any damage caused by external or environmental conditions, including but not limited to transmission
line/power line voltage or liquid spillage.
E. Any product received without appropriate model, serial number and CSA /cUL /cULus /cETL /cETLus
markings.
F. Any products used for rental or commercial purposes.
G. Any installation, setup and/or programming charges.
If in any situation your purchase displays a manufacturer’s defect during the warranty period and does not
function correctly, Electrohome will repair your product and cover all parts, labour, and return costs upon
delivery of the Electrohome product together with proof of purchase. Products returned to Electrohome for
warranty service must be shipped prepaid (paid by the customer). Products must be shipped in the original
shipping container or its equivalent; in any case the risk of loss or damage in transit is to be borne by you.

My new turntable will not spin or play a record – Please ensure the turntable is plugged into a
working outlet and the power is turned to the on position. Raise the lid to expose the phonograph.The
phonograph has been secured for shipment with a transit screw. Using a screwdriver, turn the transit screw
CLOCKWISE. This will allow the turntable to“oat”and turn freely. Moving the tone arm above the record
will trigger the platter to start spinning. If you are still experiencing diculties please visit http://www.

My turntable seems to wobble – It is normal for a turntable to have a slight platter wobble, however
this should not aect turntable operation. If your turntable is wobbling and you are concerned, rst make
sure you have the turntable on a at surface. Next check the transit screw to ensure it was tightened. If the
issue persists and operation is aected please visit http://www.electrohome.com/contact/ and one of our
Representatives will respond within 24 business hours.
I have poor radio reception – Ensure the FM radio wire is unravelled and is secured in a location free
from sources of interference. If AM and FM stations are still not coming in clearly try moving the unit to a
new location and test again. *Please note this feature may not be available on all models.
Tone Arm Return is not returning properly – If your unit’s tone arm return is travelling too far towards the
center or not returning to the resting cradle, please locate the tone arm adjustment instructions provided
in your user manual. If you do not have your user manual, one can be downloaded from: http://www.

Can I charge my MP3 player with the USB port? –The USB port is for playback or recording depending
on the device.The USB port will not charge a device, nor allow an MP3 player to play music. If you would
like to play audio from an iPod, iPhone, or an Android device please use the Line in port(s) on the unit.
*Please note this feature may not be available on all models.
My records play too fast or too slow -There is a speed selector switch located under the lid of the
turntable.The speed selector switch has 3 settings for dierent record sizes (33 RPM, 45 RPM or 78 RPM).
Please ensure that you have selected the correct setting based on the record you are attempting to play.To
change the speed, please adjust the selector (knob or lever switch) to the required speed for the record you
are playing.
My CD player will not play a CD – If you are experiencing diculties with your CD player, please try test-
ing the unit with a store bought CD to rule out any incompatibility issues.We also recommend attempting
to clean the CD player with a CD lens cleaning kit to ensure the lens is free of dirt and debris. *Please note
this feature may not be available on all models.
I think I need to replace my stylus -The jeweled stylus installed in your turntable by the manufacturer
at the time of purchase should last for up to 300 hours of playback with 33 RPM albums or 45 RPM 'Singles'.
If you are playing older 78 RPM records, which are made from a much harder material, the life expectancy
of the stylus will be reduced. First we would recommend ensuring that the stylus is free of debris. Using a
soft stylus cleaning brush gently cleaning the stylus may improve sound quality. If this does not improve
the sound quality a new stylus can be purchased by calling our sales line at 1-855-293-7253 and one of our
Representatives will be happy to assist you.

Mon tourne-disque ne veut pas faire tourner ou jouer mon disque vinyle – S’il vous plaît, assurez-vous que le tourne-

Mes disques vinyle jouent trop vite ou trop lentement – Il y a un interrupteur «sélecteur de vitesse» situé sous le couvercle
du tourne-disque. Le sélecteur de vitesse dispose de 3 réglages pour diérentes tailles de disques vinyle (33 tours, 45 tours ou 78
tours). S’il vous plaît, assurez-vous que vous avez choisi le bon réglage en fonction du disque vinyle que vous essayez de faire jouer.
Pour changer la vitesse de rotation, s’il vous plaît, réglez le sélecteur (bouton ou interrupteur à levier) à la vitesse requise pour le
disque vinyle que vous souhaitez faire jouer.
Mon lecteur CD ne veut pas lire un CD – Si vous rencontrez des dicultés avec votre lecteur CD, s’il vous plaît, essayez de
tester l’appareil avec un CD que vous aurez acheté en magasin pour vous assurer que vous n’êtes pas confronté à un problème
d’incompatibilité. Nous vous recommandons également de tenter de nettoyer le lecteur CD avec une trousse de nettoyage pour
lentille de lecteur CD pour vous assurer que la lentille est exempte de saleté et les débris.

Je pense que je dois remplacer mon stylet – Le stylet «pointe de diamant» installé sur le bras de lecture de votre tourne-
disque par le fabricant au moment de l’achat devrait durer jusqu’à 300 heures si vous ne faites jouer que des albums 33 tours ou
des simples 45 tours. Si toutefois vous faites jouer des 78 tours plus âgés qui sont fabriqués à partir d’un matériau beaucoup plus
dur, l’espérance de vie de service du stylet sera réduite. Premièrement, nous vous recommandons de vous assurer que le stylet est
exempt de débris. Pour ce faire, utilisez une brosse douce conçue spécialement pour le nettoyage du stylet et nettoyez-le soigneu-
sement. De plus, le fait de nettoyer le stylet peut améliorer la qualité sonore de vos disques vinyle. Si cette procédure ne vous a
pas permis d’améliorer la qualité sonore, un nouveau stylet peut être acheté en contactant notre service des ventes au 1-855-293-
7253, et l’un de nos représentants se fera un plaisir de vous aider.

1. Veuillez débranchez l'appareil avant de remplacer
la cartouche.
2. Soulevez délicatement le bras de lecture
du support.
3. En utilisant votre main gauche pour tenir le
bras et à l’aide de votre main droite pour tenir
la partie arrière de la cartouche, poussez la
cartouche vers l’arrière et vers le bas selon le
sens indiqué dans le schéma à la droite pour
séparer la cartouche du bras de lecture.
4. En utilisant une pince à épiler ou vos doigts,
débranchez soigneusement les bornes de la cartouche.
5. Branchez soigneusement les bornes à la nouvelle
cartouche (non inclus).
6. Pour réinstaller la nouvelle cartouche pour le
bras de lecture, veuillez tout d’abord, verouillez
l’extrémité avant de la nouvelle cartouche sur le
crochet du bras de lecture.
7. Appuyez sur le côté arrière de la nouvelle cartouche
vers le haut pour la verrouiller sur le bras de lecture.
AVERTISSEMENT: Veuillez prendre soin de ne pas endommagez pas la pointe de lecture lors de
l’installation de la nouvelle cartouche.

REMPLACER LE STYLET
1. Levez le bras de lecture du support.
2. Sur l’extrémité du bras de lecture, placer le bout de votre ongle entre le porte-stylet rouge et le boîtier
de cartouche noir comme dans le schéma, appuyer sur le porte-stylet rouge jusqu'à ce qu'il se sépare
du boîtier de cartouche.
3. Retirez complètement et jetez le porte-stylet rouge et le stylet usé.
4. Placez le nouveau porte-stylet rouge et stylet neuf sous le boîtier de cartouche. Appuyez (vers le haut)
sur le côté arrière du porte-stylet puis appuyez sur sur le bord avant du porte-stylet jusqu'à ce qu'il
clic en place dans le boîtier de la cartouche.
TRANSPORTER LE SYSTÈME
IMPORTANT!
An de protéger la plaque tournante de tout dommage pendant le transport, une vis de transport argentée
se trouve en haut à la droite du plateau.
1. Avant de jouer un disque, veuillez utiliser un tournevis pour tourner la vis de transport dans le sens
horaire pour (la vis descendant) complètement pour déverrouiller le plateau tournant.
2. Pour verrouiller le plateau à nouveau pour le transport, veuillez tourner la vis dans le
sens anti-horaire.
ENTRETIEN DU BOÎTIER
L' entretien du boîtier est le même que d'autres meubles. Lorsque le boîtier est poussiéreux, vous pouvez
l'essuyer avec chion à poussière doux, non-abrasif. Si le boîtier a des traces de doigts, vous pouvez
utiliser n'importe quel nettoyant commerciale de bonne qualité pour le dépoussiérage et le polissage. NE
PAS VAPORISER LES PIÈCES DE CE SYSTÈME EN PLASTIQUE OU EN MÉTAL. Nous recommendons
d'appliquez le nettoyant sur le chion plutôt que sur le boîtier,pour prévenir la surpulvérisation sur les
pièces en plastique ou en métal sur ce système.

UTILISATION
6. Lorsque le bras de lecture atteint la n du disque, il retourne automatiquement au support du bras de
lecture et le tourne-disque s'arrêtera.
7. Tournez le bouton ARRÊT/Réglage du volume dans le sens antihoraire jusqu'à ce qu'un « clic » est
entendu pour désactiver l'appareil.
FONCTIONNEMENT USB
1. Réglez le sélecteur de fonction AUX-PHONO/USB à la position PHONO.
2. Insérez la clé USB dans l'entrée USB du système; le lecteur commencera à jouer la première chanson
de la clé USB.
3. Appuyez le bouton Skip - ou Skip + pour sélectionner une piste.
4. Appuyez le bouton 10+ pour sélectionner une piste et pour avancer 10 pistes à la fois.
5. Tournez le bouton ARRÊT/Réglage du volume dans le sens antihoraire jusqu'à ce qu'un « clic » est
entendu lorsque vous avez terminé.
ENLEVER LA CLÉ USB
Assurez-vous d’arrêter la lecture et éteindre l’appareil avant de retirer la clé USB pour éviter d’endommager la
clé USB et le système.
Ne pas tourner ou arrêter la platine manuellement. Déplacer la platine sans sécuriser le bras de
lecture peut endommager le bras de lecture ou le stylet.
Puisque les fonctions PHONO/USB sont combinés, le système lit le disque par défaut, donc, il
faut arrêtez le tourne-disque lorsque vous utilisez l'entrée USB.

ALIMENTER L'APPAREIL
1. Branchez l`adaptateur CA à l'entrée d'alimentation CA sur le côté de l'appareil.
2. Pour activer le système, tournez le bouton ARRÊT/Réglage du volume dans le sens horaire jusqu'à ce
qu'un « clic » est entendu et réglez le volume à un niveau bas.
3. Lorsque vous avez ni d'utiliser le système, tournez le bouton ARRÊT/Réglage du volume dans le sens
antihoraire jusqu'à ce qu'un « clic » est entendu pour désactiver l'appareil.
OPÊRATION AUX IN
Cet appareil ore une prise d'entrée auxiliaire audio pour connecter les périphériques audio externes tels
que les MP3, les lecteurs CD et les iPod non conçus pour stations d'accueils plus âgés, (sauf iPod shue
3ème génération) pour écouter votre source de musique externe via les haut-parleurs de ce système.
1. Réglez le sélecteur de fonction AUX-PHONO/USB à la position AUX.
2. Utiliser un câble audio (pas inclus) avec une connexion stéréo de 3,5 mm à chaque extrémité du câble.
3. Branchez un bout à la prise AUX-IN sur l'unité principale et l'autre bout à la prise de sortie audio ou
pour les écouteurs du périphérique audio externe.
4. Assurez-vous que les deux appareils sont allumés.
5. Le niveau de volume peut maintenant être contrôlé par l'unité principale. Utilisez toutes les autres
fonctions du périphérique externe comme d'habitude.
NOTE
• Si la prise de sortie de votre appareil externe est connecté, il vous sut de régler la commande de
volume de l'appareil. Si la prise d'écouteurs de votre appareil externe est connecté, vous devez
peut-être régler le contrôle du volume de votre périphérique externe et le contrôle du volume de ce
système pour trouver le réglage du volume optimal.
• Le tourne-disque fonctionne toujours en mode AUX cependant aucun son ne sort des haut-parleurs.
• Assurez-vous que le bras de lecture est bien verrouillé au support pour éviter tout dommage.
• Tournez le bouton ARRÊT/Réglage du volume dans le sens antihoraire jusqu'à ce qu'un « clic » est
entendu pour désactiver l'appareil. N'oubliez pas d'aussie éteindre votre périphérique externe.
JOUER DES DISQUES
Ce système comprend un tourne-disque à pleine grandeur, 3 vitesses, à transmission par courroie qui joue
des disques 33, 45 et 78 tours.
1. Pour activer le système, tournez le bouton ARRÊT/Réglage du volume dans le sens horaire jusqu'à ce
qu'un « clic » est entendu et réglez le volume à un niveau bas.
2. Réglez le sélecteur de fonction AUX-PHONO/USB à la position PHONO. Assurez-vous que vous avez
retiré la couverture du stylet et que vous avez libéré le bras de lecture.
3. Réglez le sélecteur de vitesse à la bonne vitesse: 33, 45, ou 78 tours. Placez le disque sur la platine. Si
vous jouez un disque 45 tours, placez l'adaptateur pour 45 sur l'axe central.
4. Levez le levier pour sortir le bras de lecture. Déposez le bras de lecture vers le bord du disque. La platine
démarrera automatiquement. Utiliser le levier pour baisser doucement le bras de lecture sur le disque.
5. Réglez la commandeVOLUME pour régler le volume au niveau désiré.
