POWER SOURCE
This system is designed to operate
on normal 120V 60Hz AC only.
Attempting to operate this system
from any other power source may
cause damage to the system, and
such damage is not covered by
your warranty.
Note: This system is equipped with a polarized AC power plug having one
blade wider than the other. This is a safety feature. If this plug does not t into
your existing AC outlet, do not try to defeat this safety feature by altering the
wide blade to make it t into your outlet. If this plug will not t into your outlet,
you probably have an outdated non-polarized AC outlet. Have the obsolete
outlet changed by a qualied licensed electrician.
PREPARATION FOR USE
UNPACKING AND SETUP
• Carefully remove the unit from
the display carton and remove all
packing material from the unit
• Unwind the AC power cord and
extend it to its full length
• Unwind the FM Antenna wire and
extend it to its full length
• Place the unit on a stable, level
surface, close to an AC outlet,
out of direct sunlight, and away
from sources of excess heat,
dust, moisture, humidity, or strong
magnetic elds
• Raise the lid to expose the phonograph. The phonograph has been
secured for shipment with a transit screw. Use a coin or screwdriver to
TURN THE TRANSIT SCREW CLOCKWISE. This will allow the turntable
to “oat” and turn freely
• Remove the opaque white plastic
stylus cover from the phonograph
stylus by sliding it in the direction of
the arrow.
• Discard the stylus cover.
• Remove the twist-tie that was used to
secure the tone arm during shipment.
• Release the tone arm lock lever.
• Connect the plug to your AC outlet, as
shown below.

PREPARATION FOR USE
RAISING AND LOWERING THE LID
IMPORTANT:
To open the lid, raise it as far as it will go until the lid support bracket
‘locks’ in the open position. To close the lid, lift it upward slightly until the
lid support bracket ‘unlocks’ , and then gently lower the lid.
TO AVOID DAMAGING THE CABINET OR THE LID, NEVER FORCE
THE LID CLOSED. ALWAYS RAISE THE LID TO RELEASE THE LID
SUPPORT BRACKET.
PROTECT YOUR FURNITURE
This model is equipped with non-skid rubber ‘feet’ to prevent the product
from moving when you operate the controls. These ‘feet’ are made from non-
migrating rubber material specially formulated to avoid leaving any marks
or stains on your furniture. However, certain types of oil based furniture
polishes, wood preservatives, or cleaning sprays may cause the rubber ‘feet’
to soften, and leave marks or a rubber residue on the furniture. To prevent any
damage to your furniture we strongly recommend that you purchase small
self-adhesive felt pads, available at hardware stores and home improvement
centers everywhere, and apply these pads to the bottom of the rubber ‘feet’
before you place the product on ne wooden furniture.
HEADPHONES
For private listening, plug headphones into the headphone jack on the front
panel of the player. The speakers will be disconnected when headphones are
plugged in.

OPERATION
LISTENING TO THE RADIO
1. Rotate the OFF/VOLUME control clockwise until a click is heard to turn the
unit on. The LED power indicator will light.
2. Rotate the AM/FM/PH/CD switch to the AM or FM position as desired.
The backlight behind the AM/FM dial will light.
3. Rotate the tuning control to select a station. If tuned to a strong FM
station, the FM Stereo indicator will light and the sound will be in stereo.
4. Rotate the OFF/VOLUME control to set the volume as desired. Rotate
the OFF/VOLUME control counterclockwise until a click is heard to turn
the unit off.
AM Note:
The AM antenna is inside the cabinet. If reception is unsatisfactory try
repositioning the cabinet slightly for the strongest signal.
FM Note:
The wire antenna is located on the back cabinet. If necessary adjust the
position and direction of this antenna for the best reception.
INSERTING AND PLAYING A CD
1. Rotate the OFF/VOLUME control clockwise until a click is heard to turn
the unit on. The LED power indicator will light.
2. Rotate the AM/FM/PH/CD switch to the CD position. ‘- -’ will appear in
the display.
3. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD tray. Place a CD in the
tray, with the printed label facing up. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button
again to close the CD tray.
4. The disc will spin for a few seconds while the player is reading the disc
and the total track number will appear in the display. Press the PLAY/
PAUSE button to start playing the rst track of the disc. Adjust the OFF/
VOLUME control to set the volume as desired.
5. To skip forward or backward through the tracks on the disc, press the
SKIP REV or SKIP FWD buttons. To search forward or backward through
the tracks, press and hold the SKIP REV or SKIP FWD button.
6. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to pause playback. The PLAY/PAUSE
indicator will blink in the display. Press again to resume playback. When
the disc is through playing, it will stop rotating.
7. To stop playback entirely, press the STOP button.
Note:
• As each track is played, the track number is shown in the display.
• The PLAY/PAUSE indicator will appear in the display during CD playing.

OPERATION
RANDOM PLAYBACK
During CD-R/RW stop mode, press the RANDOM button once; the random
indicator will light and the unit will then play the tracks in a random order. Press
the STOP button to cancel the random setting and the random indicator will
turn off.
Note:
During RANDOM playback, press the REPEAT button once to activate repeat
1 playback. The REPEAT LED indicator will blink and the RANDOM LED
indicator will light solid. the player will play your selected track repeatedly till
you cancel the REPEAT function by pressing the REPEAT button twice, the
repeat LED indicator will go out. RANDOM function cannot be used during
repeat 1 mode.
REPEAT PLAYBACK
1. To repeat a single track, press the REPEAT button once, the repeat LED
indicator will blink, press the SKIP REV button or SKIP FWD button to
select the desired track, press the PLAY/PAUSE button to begin repeat
playback of the selected track.
2. To repeat all of the tracks on a disc continuously, press the REPEAT
button twice, the repeat LED indicator will light solid. Press the PLAY/
PAUSE button to begin repeat playback of the entire disc.
3. To cancel repeat playback, press the REPEAT button until the repeat LED
indicator turns off.
4. Repeat playback is also canceled by pressing the STOP button, or setting
the AM/FM/PH/CD switch the to the AM, FM or PH position.
PROGRAMMED PLAYBACK
The CD player in this unit has a 20 - track programmable memory that allows
you to program the disc to playback songs in any desired order.
1. While in STOP mode of CD playback, press the PROGRAM button; “0”
will appear in the display and the program LED indicator will blink.
2. Select the rst track to be programmed using the SKIP REV or SKIP FWD
button.
3. Press the PROGRAM button again to conrm it, when the desired track
appears in the display. Repeats steps 2 and 3 to program up to 20 tracks.
You may program the same track more than once.
4. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to begin programmed playback; the
program LED indicator will blink. Player will begin with the rst track you
programmed and will continue until the last programmed track has played.

OPERATION
5. Press the SKIP REV or SKIP FW button to select a specic track in the
programmed tracks. After the last track has played, the player will stop.
However, the program sequence remains in the memory. The program
indicator will turn off.
6. To repeat the programmed sequence, press the PROGRAM button and
then press the PLAY/PAUSE button. The programmed sequence may be
cancelled by pressing the STOP button while in stop mode.
Notes:
• Programming is the ability to pre-select the order in which a series of
tracks will be played
• The CD player will stop after all programmed tracks have been played or
the STOP button is pressed
• “--“ and the program indicator will blink when you have programmed 20
tracks
• During PROGRAMMED playback, press REPEAT button twice to
activate repeat all feature. The REPEAT inidcator will light and all tracks
in your programmed sequence will be repeated continuously. To cancel
programmed repeat playback press the STOP button until both the
program and repeat LED indicator go out
PLAYING RECORDS
This system includes a full-size, 3-speed, belt-drive turntable that plays 33,45
and 78 RPM records.
1. With the unit on, rotate the AM/FM/PH/CD switch to the PH position.
Make sure that you have removed the stylus cover from the stylus and
have released the Tone Arm Lock (See Page 7)
2. Set the turntable speed switch to the appropriate speed: 33, 45, or 78
RPM. Set the record onto the turntable. If you are playing 45 RPM singles,
place the 45 RPM adapter on the center spindle.
3. Raise the cue lever to lift the tone arm off its rest. Move the tone arm to
the edge of the record. The turntable will start automatically. Use the cue
lever to gently lower the tone arm onto the record.
Notes:
• Adjust the OFF/VOLUME control to set the volume as desired.
• IMPORTANT: Make sure that you have removed the stylus cover from
the stylus and have released the Tone Arm Lock (see page 7).
• Do not turn or stop the turntable manually. Moving or jarring the turntable
without securing the tone arm clamp could result in damage to the tone
arm or stylus.

OPERATION
CHANGING THE STYLUS
The jeweled stylus that was installed in your turntable at the time of purchase
will last for up to 300 hours of playback with 33 RPM albums or 45 RPM
singles. If you are playing older 78 RPM records, which are made from a
much harder material, the stylus life expectancy may be reduced.
When the playback sound becomes distorted and unsatisfactory, rst check
to see if any dust or lint has accumulated on the stylus. If you see any visible
matter on the tip of the stylus, remove it very carefully with a soft stylus-
cleaning brush.
If there is no visible foreign matter on the stylus and the sound is still
unsatisfactory, the stylus is worn and needs to be replaced. If you continue
playing your records with a worn stylus, you may eventually cause damage to
the records themselves.
To replace the stylus:
IMPORTANT: Avoid touching the stylus itself.
1. Lift the tone arm off the tone arm rest.
2. At the front end of the tone arm, place the tip of your ngernail between
the red stylus holder and the black cartridge housing as shown, press
down on the red stylus holder until it separates from the cartridge housing.
3. Completely remove the red stylus holder with worn stylus and discard it.
4. Place the new red stylus holder with stylus under the cartridge housing.
First, press upward on the back side of the stylus holder, and then press
up on the front edge of the stylus holder until it snaps into place on the
cartridge housing.

ELECTROHOME product, when shipped in its original container and sold or distributed in Canada by BlueTronics Group or
by an Authorized ELECTROHOME Dealer:
BlueTronics Group warrants that this product is free, under normal use and maintenance, from any defects in material
and workmanship. If any such defects should be found in this product within the applicable warranty period, BlueTronics
Group shall, at its option, repair or replace the product as specied herein. Replacement parts furnished in connection
with this warranty shall be warranted for a period equal to the unexpired portion of the original equipment warranty.
This warranty shall not apply to:
a. Any defects caused or repairs required as a result of abusive operation, negligence, accident, improper installation
or inappropriate use as outlined in the owner’s manual.
b. Any ELECTROHOME product tampered with, modied, adjusted or repaired by any party other than BlueTronics
Group or ELECTROHOME’s Authorized Service Centres.
c. Damage caused or repairs required as a result of the use with items not specied or approved by BlueTronics
Group, including but not limited to head cleaning tapes and chemical cleaning agents.
d. Any replacement of accessories, glassware, consumable or peripheral items required through normal use of the
product including but not limited to earphones, remote controls, AC adapters, batteries, temperature probe, stylus,
trays, lters, cables, paper, cabinet, cabinet parts, knobs, buttons, baskets, stands, shelves, cookware and cooking
utensils.
e. Any cosmetic damage to the surface or exterior that has been defaced or caused by normal wear and tear.
f. Any damage caused by external or environmental conditions, including but not limited to transmission line/power
line voltage or liquid spillage.
g. Any product received without appropriate model, serial number and CSA /cUL /cULus /cETL /cETLus markings.
h. Any products used for rental or commercial purposes.
i. Any installation, setup and/or programming charges.
Should this ELECTROHOME product fail to operate during the warranty period, warranty service may be obtained upon
delivery of the ELECTROHOME product together with proof of purchase and a copy of this LIMITED WARRANTY statement
to an Authorized ELECTROHOME Service Centre. In-home warranty service may be provided at BlueTronics Group’s
discretion on any ELECTROHOME television with the screen size of 27” or larger. This warranty constitutes the entire express
warranty granted by BlueTronics Group and no other dealer, service centre or their agent or employee is authorized to extend,
enlarge or transfer this warranty on behalf of BlueTronics Group. To the extent the law permits, BlueTronics Group disclaims
any and all liability for direct or indirect damages or losses or for any incidental, special or consequential damages or loss of
prots resulting from a defect in material or workmanship relating to the product, including damages for the loss of time or use
of this ELECTROHOME product or the loss of information. The purchaser will be responsible for any removal, reinstallation,
transportation and insurance costs incurred. Correction of defects, in the manner and period of time described herein, constitute
complete fulllment of all obligations and responsibilities of ELECTROHOME Electronics to the purchaser with respect to the
product and shall constitute full satisfaction of all claims, whether based on contract, negligence, strict liability or otherwise.

PREPARATION POUR L’UTILISATION
DÉBALLAGE ET INSTALLATION
• Retirer avec précaution l’unité du carton
d’emballage et retirer tous les emballages de
l’unité.
• Dérouler le câble d’alimentation jusqu’à sa
longueur maximale.
• Dérouler le câble d’antenne FM jusqu’à sa
longueur maximale.
• Placer l’unité sur une surface stable et nivelée,
proche d’une prise secteur, sans lumière du
soleil directe, et loin de sources de chaleur
excessive, de poussière, de moisissure,
d’humidité ou de champs magnétiques
puissants.
• Élever le couvercle pour exposer le phonographe. Le phonographe a été
sécurisé pour l’envoi avec une vis de transport. Utiliser une pièce ou un
tournevis pour TOURNER LA VIS DE TRANSIT VERS LA DROITE. Cela
permettra à la platine de « otter » et de tourner librement.
• Retirer la protection du stylet en plastique blanc
opaque du phonographe en le faisant glisser
dans la direction de la èche.
• Retirer la couverture du stylet.
• Retirer le ruban à fermeture par torsade utilisé
pour sécuriser le bras de lecture pendant le
transport.
• Libérer le levier de fermeture du bras de lecture.
• Connecter la prise dans votre prise secteur,
comme montré ci-dessous.

SOURCE D’ALIMENTATION
Ce système est prévu pour une utilisation avec
une prise normale 120V 60Hz seulement.
Essayer d’utiliser ce système sur une quelconque
autre source d’alimentation peut causer des
dommages au système, et de tels dommages ne
sont pas couverts par votre garantie.
Note: Ce système est équipé d’une prise secteur polarisée avec une lame
plus large que l’autre. Ceci est une fonction de sécurité. Si cette prise ne
convient pas à votre prise murale existante, n’essayez pas de contrarier cette
fonction de sécurité en altérant la lame large pour qu’elle tienne dans votre
prise. Si cette prise ne convient pas, vous avez certainement une prise murale
obsolète et non polarisée. Faire changer cette prise par un technicien qualié.

PRÉPARATION POUR L’UTILISATION
LEVER ET BAISSER LE COUVERCLE
IMPORTANT:
Pour ouvrir le couvercle, le lever au maximum jusqu’à ce que la baguette de
support se « bloque » sur la position ouverte. Pour fermer le couvercle, le
soulever légèrement jusqu’à ce que la baguette de support se « débloque »,
et ensuite baisser doucement le couvercle.
AFIN D’ÉVITER D’ENDOMMAGER LE COFFRET OU LE COUVERCLE,
NE JAMAIS FORCER LE COUVERCLE FERMÉ. TOUJOURS LEVER
LE COUVERCLE POUR LIBÉRER LA BAGUETTE DE SUPPORT DU
COUVERCLE.
PROTÉGER VOS MEUBLES
Ce modèle est équipé de « pieds » de gomme antidérapant pour éviter que le
produit ne se déplace lorsque l’on utilise les touches. Ces « pieds » sont fait
à partir d’un matériau de gomme antidérapante spécialement créé pour éviter
de laisser des marques ou des tâches sur vos meubles. Cependant, certains
types de vernis pour meubles à base d’huile, de préservateurs de bois, ou
de sprays nettoyants peuvent ramollir les « pieds » de gomme, et laisser des
marques de résidu de gomme sur le meuble. Pour éviter tout dommage sur
vos meubles nous vous recommandons fortement d’acheter des languettes
de feutre auto-adhésive, disponibles dans des magasins de bricolage ou dans
des centres d’aménagement intérieur, et de les placer en dessous des « pieds
» de gomme avant de placer le produit sur des meubles en bois de qualité.
ÉCOUTEURS
Pour une écoute privée, brancher les écouteurs dans la prise écouteur sur
la façade de votre lecteur. Les Haut-Parleurs se déconnecteront lorsque les
écouteurs seront branchés.
