Beforecleaning,makesurethe hob iscoolanddiscon-

Neveruse aggressive orabrasive agents,such
asoven sprays,stain or rustremovers,scouring
powder,orspongeswith an abrasive effect.
Specialcleaning agents such asVitroclen andceramic
scrapersare availablefromdepartementstores,elec-
tricalspecialistshops,and in drug and grocery stores.
Cleaning aftereach use
SSlight, non-burntsoiling can be wiped off with a
dampcloth.
SBurntsoiling hastoberemoved withascraper.
Afterwardswipe off the ceramicglass surfacewith
a dampcloth,and Vitroclen.
Stainremoval
SLightmetallic stains(aluminium residues)can be
removed fromthe cooking zone with a ceramichob
cleaning agentsuch asVitroclen when cool.
SSugarsolutions, food stuffswithahigh sugarcon-
tent, plastics,orkitchen foil - mustbe removed
immediatelywithascraper. If thistype ofsoilage is
notremoved immediatelyitcan causeirrepairable
damage tothe ceramicglass surface.When the
surfacehas cooledwipe overwith a dampclothand
Vitroclen.
SBeforeusing anydetergentorcleaningagentonthe
ceramicglass top,ensuretheyarerecommended
bythe manufacturerforuse on ceramicglasshobs.
SDo notapplyany cleaning agentsto hotcooking
zones.Ensureanyresiduesarewipedoffbeforethe
cooking zonesare used again.
Specialproblems
ifa chemicalcleanerproves inadequate.... Check whetherthe use ofascraperismore effective.
when darks stainsoccur.... If the use ofascraperand a stainless steelcleaning
agentprovesunsuccessful,yourdecorsurface has
mostlikelybeen abraded byusing unsuitablecleaning
agents,orbypan bottomswithascouring effect. This
