cupboards.The cupboardshaveto be located
and fastened inawaythat theyarestable.
Damaged appliancesmustnotbe used.Fuselage

lure.
Repairworkat the appliancemustexclusivelybe

Safetyforchildren
When roasting,baking orgrilling the oven gets
hot. On principle,keep away small children, the-
refore.
Make use of the door-lock. Inthis casesmall chil-
dren cannotopen the oven door.

Safety atcleaning
No heating elementmustbe switched on during
the cleaning procedure.Makesurethat the oven
has cooled downin a waythatone maygetin
touchwithinteriorpartswithoutanydanger.
Always keep the oven clean.When heating up fat
splashesand spotswill causeinconvenient
odours.
The oven door must firmly close.Ensureclean
sealing surfacesatdoorand doorframe.
The cleaning of the appliancewith a steamjetor
high--pressurecleanerisnotallowed because of
the requirementsofelectricalsafety.
Howtoavoid damages on the appliance
Do notusethe oven forthe purpose ofspace
heating.
The oven bottom mustnotbe covered with alu-
foil.Pots,pansand vesselsmustnotbe placed on
the oven bottom.The heatwill accumulate and
may cause damage tothe material.
Makesurethatno aceticliquids,such as vinegar,
lemon ordeliming meansgetaccess tothe
enamelled cavity,asthiswouldresultinmat
spots.Usethe deep enamelled universalpan for
preparationslikefruitcake etc.
Do’ntkeep bread ordampfood inthe oven cavity.
The opened oven door mustnotbe burdened too
heavily,do notsitorstep on it.
Afterusemakesurethat the applianceis
switched off.

Disposalofpacking material

Oven doorlocking /
Childrensafetymechanism
Bymeansofan interlocking mechanismforthe oven
you can preventplaying children fromgetting access
toit.
Activating ofdoorlock
Forinterlocking of the oven doorpull the interlocking
tongue out.
Opening and closing of theoven doorwithactiva-
tedinterlocking mechanism.
To open the doorpushthe tongue upwards, the door
can easilybe opened.Make use of thermo-glovesorof
a potclothincasethe appliancewill be hot.
When closing the doorthe interlocking tongue will auto-
matically catchin.
Deactivating ofdoorlock
Pushthe tongue in.Nowthe oven mayalways be ope-
ned.
Activation (pull out)ordeactivation (pushin)of the
interlocking mechanismare always to be realized with
the dooropen.
In orderto avoid anyburnsdo onlyactivate or
deactivatethe oven doorinterlocking mecha-
nismwiththe applianceincoldstate.
Ovencooling fan
The applianceisfitted with a cooling fan thatwill auto-
matically switchonincase ofheatbeeing developed
and,ifneed be,continue torun afterswitch-off of the
appliance.

explanatoryinformation you will find inthe following chapter

Daytime setting
The appliancemustbe switched off when setting or
resetting the daytime.Afterconnection tothe power
supplyoraftera powerfailure12 00 will flashforabout
5secondsinthe display.Afterwards12 00 will remain
on and between the indicatorforhoursand minutes
will flash.The actualdaytime between 0.00 -23.59
hourshastobeset.
Aslong as12 00 isflashing:
bymeansofpushing thebuttons and
set thedaytime.
With 12.00 alreadyremaining on inthe displayand with
flashing:
At firstdo simultaneouslypushthebuttons
(cooking duration)and (switch--off
time) forabout5 seconds since 12 00 flashes,
then bymeansofbuttons and thenset
thedaytime.
After5secondsthe timewill remaininthe displayand
isflashing between the indication ofhoursand minu-
tes.The setting procedureis completed.
Incase ofcorrectionsof time(Summer/Wintertime,
powerfailure,etc.)proceed insamemanner.
Firstcleaning
Toremove anypossible production remnants, the ap-
plianceshouldbecleaned before use.
Remove anypossiblyexisting labelsand protectivefo-
ilsfromcontrolpaneland oven door.
Clean controlpaneland oven doorwithwarm water
and a cleanserand dryafterwards.
Removethe accessoriesfromthe oven and rinsethem.
Clean the oven and the doorwithwarm waterand a
cleanserand dryafterwards.
Withthat the oven lightmaybe switched on:
Push button (on/off) forswitching on
theovenlightand forswitching off.

Firstwarming up
The oven mustonce be heated up priortofirstuse.
When firstheating up takecareforasufficient
spaceventilation.
Push button (on/off).
The switch--on controland the oven indicator
lampwill come on.
Then pushthebutton (oven function)for
severaltimes,and setposition (Top/bottom
heat),
the function symbol lightsup inthe displayand
the temperaturindicatorshows200 aspre--set
temperature.
Pushthetemperaturebutton and
bymeansofbutton set theoven
temperatureto250 oC.
Afterabout5secondsthe oven function will switch on.
Inthis setting operatethe emptyand closed oven for
about60 minutes.
Switch--off: push button (on/off).
The controland oven indicatorlampwill go out.
The cooling fan continuestorun until the oven is
considerably cooled down.

Adding dual--circuitofcooking orgriddlezone
Turnthe switchknob tothe right. Continue turning
beyond position 9 tosymbolto a clearlynoti-
ceablestop (Attention!Do notexceed when tur-
ning).
Afterwardsturnthe setting knob back tothe set-
ting desired.Danach die gewünschteGarstufe

Fortermination of the cooking procedureswitch
back tothe OFF--position.
When switching on againthe cooking zone and
griddlezone the greaterheating elementhasto
be added again.
Check afterusewhetherthe applianceis swit-

The electronicoven control isprovided with a safety
switch-off deviceforthe casewherefunction and
temperature aresetwithoutanylimitation of time
(cooking time,switch-off time).Depending on the
intensityof the temperatureset the oven will be
switched off automatically.

Othertemperaturesettingsare possible between 30

The actualoven temperaturewill be displayed upon
actuation of the temperature button .After5
secondsthe displaywill jump back tothe set

Upon reaching the set temperatureinthe oven,a
sound signal will resound.The temperatureinthe oven
will nowremainconstantanytime,asthe heating
elementsareswitched on when falling belowor
switched off when exceeding thistemperature.

Childrensafetydevice
Withthe children safetydevice activated therecannot
be anyunintended settingsof the electronic control
system (e.g.byplaying children).Make use of this
device alsoincase oflong--termed absence.
The children safetydevicewill onlybe effectivewiththe
applianceinswitched off condition,in orderto prevent
children fromswitching on the oven.
Switch-on of the childrensafetydevice:
At the sametime keepthebuttons
(temperature)and pushedforatleast5
seconds.Ashortsound signal will resound
and apointwill appearinthedisplay beneath
theminutefigures.
Switch--on,setting ofa baking function or
tem--peraturewill notbe possiblefromthistime on.
Settingsof time are possible,will howevernotresultin
automatic switch--on of the oven.
Exception:Short--term alarm,can be used asusual.
Switch-off of the childrensafetydevice:
At the sametimepushthebuttonsof
(temperature)and foratleast5 seconds
until the sound signal will resound and a
pointdisappearsinthedisplay beneath
theminutefigures.
Nowthe oven isreadyagainforusualoperation.

Short term-alarm
Withthe short--term alarm thereisno switching
function forthe appliance.Itmaybe used forobserving
and controlling ofcooking timesand sequencesinthe
kitchen,alsoindependentof the oven orin parallel with
automatic settings.
Push button (short-term alarm).
The display shows000 and the control lamp above
the button flashes.
then push buttons and and set the
desiredtime.
(between 1 minute and 19 hours59 minutes).
5secondsaftersetting the daytimeshowsup inthe
displayagain, the control lampforthe short-term alarm
is shining.
During the sequence of timethe remaining timecan be
checked bypushing the short-term alarm button.
The dualdoubletone resoundsafterexpiration.
This signalcanatonce be switched off by
pushing the short-term alarm button .
Aslong asthe signalresounds, the control lampforthe
short-term alarm ison.
The sound signal will automatically stop after3minutes
and the control lamp goesout.
If you want tocancelorcorrectatimesetting before
end ofsequence,pushthe short-term alarm button
and bymeansofbutton setback to 0 correctby
meansofbuttonsor.

Automaticprograms
Priortothe setting ofautomaticprogramsthe
appliance mustbe switchedon(button )as well
as ovenfunction and temperaturehas to be set.
Without these settings anyprogramming will not
have aneffecton theoven.
Cooking duration
-Setting of thetimeofcooking -
The roasting,baking orgrilling timefordishes
according torecipes,chartsorownselection is setby
the programcooking time.The duration ofcooking
startsatonce, the oven function remains switched on
until automatic switch-off.

function and temperatureto be set.
Push button (cooking duration).
The display shows000 and the control lamp
abovethe button flashes.
Bymeansofpushing thebuttonsor
set thedesired duration ofcooking
(between 1 minute and 9 hours59 minutes),
example:3 hours20 minutes.
The display showsthe daytime again, the control lamp
forprogramcooking duration is shining.
The running off duration ofcooking maybe displayed
bypushing button .The switch--off timemaybe
checked bybutton .
Correctionsof the duration ofcooking are possible
after repeated pushing ofbutton and pushing
buttonsortoset the desired time.
Bymeansofbutton you may switch off the
appliance atonce, the automaticprogramsetting
is cancelled at the sametime.
Asound signalresoundsafterexpiration of the duration
ofcooking.The oven isautomatically switched off and
the oven lightgoesout. The displaynowshowsthe
daytime and the control lamp ofisflashing.
The sound signalcan be cancelled bypushing any
button,all lightindicatorswill atonce go out-or
afterabout3minutesthe sound signal, the control
lampsand the function symbol will automaticallygo
out. The display showsthe actualdaytime.

Switch-off time
-Setting of the end ofcooking time-
Byprogramswitch-off time you set thetime end
forcooking procedures.Theduration ofcooking
starts atonce,theovenfunction remainson forthe
time setuntil automatic switch-off.
Switch--on ,

Push button (switch--off time)
and withthebuttonsorselect thedesired
end ofcooking time.
Example:10.00.
(=the time atwhichthe mealshouldbeready).
The end ofduration ofcooking mustbe withinthe 24
hoursnext tofollow.
The control lampforflashes.After5secondsthe
oven function is switched on.
The daytimeshowsup inthe displayand the control
lampsforprogramduration and end ofprogramare
shining.
The running off duration ofcooking can be displayed by
pushing button and the switch-off time bypushing
button .
Correctionsof the switch-off time are possible after
repeated pushing ofbutton and with button or
pushing.
You can atonceswitch off the appliancewith
button , the automaticprogramsetting is
cancelled atatime.
Atriplesound signal indicatesthe end ofcooking time,
the oven isautomatically switched off and the oven light
goesout.

Bythe combination ofprograms cooking time and switch-off
timethe oven can automaticallybe switched on atalatertime
and be switched off afterthe cooking procedure atatimefixed
before.The description isbased on the following example:
Setting ofautomaticfunctions:8.00 o’clock.The mealshould
be readyat12.30 h,a duration ofcooking of1 hour20 minutes
isneeded forthe preparation.

Then bymeansofpushing thebuttonsor
set thedesired duration ofcooking.

The end of the duration ofcooking mustbe withinthe
24 hoursnext tofollow.
The oven function and lightareswitched off afterthe
setting procedure.The display showsthe daytime and
the control lampsabove buttonsand shining.
The startof the duration ofcooking is calculated from
switch-off timeminusduration ofcooking (example:
10.40 hours).At thistimethe desired function will be
switched on.
During the duration ofcooking the control lampfor
programis shining.
Timesettings can be checked bypushing the buttons
and .
Forcorrection of the duration ofcooking orswitch-off
time pushthe corresponding button and change the
timesettingsbypushing the buttonsor.
Bymeansofbutton you can atonceswitch off
the appliance, the automaticprogramsetting is
cancelled at the sametime.

Meatprobe
Exclusivelymake use oforiginalparts supplied or
aftercomplaintsoriginalspareparts.
When cooking the temperatureinthe centerof the food
(=coretemperature)ismeasured bymeansof the
meatprobe and the duration ofcooking will
automaticallybe ended upon reaching the temperature
set.
The meatprobe can be used withthe functionstop and
bottomheat, hot-air,pizzasetting, turbo-grill,separate
bottomheatand separatetop heat.
The functionsinfrared grill and large-surface grill
remainswitched off with plugged inmeatprobe and will
be jumped overinthe operating sequence ofoven
functions.
With plugged inmeatprobe time-controlled automatic
programs can infactbe set, the function,however,will,
independentof the timesetting,be switched off upon
reaching the coretemperatureinthe food.
The plug-insocket forthe meatprobe islocated inthe
right-hand oven side wall.
Completelyinsert the meatprobe up tothe handleinto
the centerof the food,intothe pectoralmusclewith
poultry.The tip of the meatprobe mustnot touch any
bone, fatwill alsomisrepresent the temperatureshown
inthe display.

Byactuation ofbutton temperaturethe different
temperaturesettingsand the temperaturevalues

The sound signalcan atonce be cancelled byactuation
ofanybutton.Itendsafter3minutesand all indicators
go out.
Thus,you removethe itemcooked fromthe oven:
At firstwithdrawthe plug of the meatprobe fromthe
socketinthe oven side wall (HOT:use potcloth or
thermo-gloves),afterwardsremovethe itemcooked
fromthe oven
Push button forcompletely switching--off.
The meatprobe notin usemustnotbe keptinside the
oven.
