AVERTISSEMENT / NOTE TECHNIQUE IMPORTANTE
Veuillez lire attentivement ce mode d’emploi avant d’utiliser vos enceintes.
La garantie des enceintes est nulle si elles sont brûlées ou endommagées à
la suite d’une surcharge ou d’un écrêtage.
SURCHARGE : Le contrôle du volume de la plupart des amplicateurs et des
récepteurs est de type logarithmique, ce qui signie que la pleine puissance
nominale peut être atteinte avec la commande du volume à mi-chemin.
EN CONSÉQUENCE, UN AMPLIFICATEUR DE 30 WATTS PEUT PRODUIRE DES
NIVEAUX DE SORTIE DÉFORMÉS DE PLUS DE 100 WATTS ET PEUT ENDOMMAGER
VOS ENCEINTES.
ÉCRÊTAGE : L’écrêtage se réfère au niveau de puissance à laquelle un
amplicateur commence à déformer une forme d’onde en l’aplatissant
en haut et en bas la rendant carrée. Couplé avec des tweeters et/ou
des haut-parleurs de grave-médium, cela peut entraîner un dépassement
de leur capacité maximale de traitement de la puissance, causant
des dommages aux enceintes. L’ÉCRÊTAGE PEUT ÊTRE IDENTIFIÉ LORS DE
GRÉSILLEMENTS OU DE DÉFORMATION DU SON. SI CELA SE PRODUIT, BAISSEZ
LE VOLUME IMMÉDIATEMENT POUR ÉVITER TOUT DOMMAGE À VOTRE SYSTÈME.

enceintes. Il contient des conseils pour en tirer le meilleur prot et des instructions
pour les utiliser sans risque. Nous vous recommandons vivement de conserver
l’emballage et ce mode d’emploi pour d’éventuels usages ultérieurs.
Elipson maintient un contrôle de qualité strict, et tous les produits quittent notre usine en
parfait état. Si des dommages sont visibles ou cachés à l’ouverture, ils ont eu lieu lors de
la manutention et doivent être signalés immédiatement à votre revendeur agréé Elipson.
Retirez délicatement l’enceinte de la boîte, en faisant attention à son poids qui peut
surprendre. Conservez tous les cartons et mousses d’emballage pour une utilisation future.

II. POSITIONNEMENT DES ENCEINTES
Intégration au plafond
Idéalement, les enceintes doivent être placées de façon symétrique au dessus de la
position d’écoute, séparées d’environ 1m à 3m. Si possible, les enceintes gauche et droite
doivent être positionnées à la même distance de la position d’écoute.
Les enceintes Innite In-ceiling ont été étudiées pour restituer le plus dèlement possible
tous types de musique, à condition de respecter quelques règles an d’optimiser leurs
performances et obtenir une scène réaliste. Avant d’installer vos enceintes, prenez soin
de vérier leur futur emplacement, en tenant compte des équipements électriques, de
plomberie et d’autres appareils. Contactez votre revendeur agréé si vous avez des doutes
quant à l’emplacement que vous souhaitez pour votre installation.

Préparation des surfaces / nition des plafonds
Avant l’installation des enceintes, il est nécessaire d’installer les câbles dans l’emplacement
prévu. Contactez votre revendeur pour plus d’informations sur l’installation du câble. Une
fois le câble correctement installé, vous êtes prêt à installer vos enceintes.
IV. INSTALLATION
1. Déterminer le meilleur emplacement pour vos enceintes
L’emplacement choisi doit être libre d’obstacles tels que conduits électriques, conduits de
climatisation, ou conduites d’eau. L’accès à un grenier ou vide sanitaire peut vous aider à
localiser leur emplacement.
2. Repérer les éventuels éléments de charpente autour de l’emplacement
Pour cette étape, nous vous conseillons d’utiliser un bon appareil de détection de
charpente. Assurez-vous qu’il n’y ait pas de poutres et autres éléments de charpente autour
de l’emplacement de vos enceintes. Si vous placez les enceintes près de ces éléments,
prenez soin de prendre en compte la taille des pattes de xation qui se positionnent au-
delà du trou de découpe de montage.
3. Marquer l’emplacement
Un gabarit de découpe est prévu dans la boîte. Positionnez le gabarit à l’endroit souhaité
puis tracez le contour au crayon.
4. Découpe de montage
Attention : Cette étape est la plus importante de toute l’installation. Si vous n’êtes pas
sûr des obstacles présents dans la zone de découpe, commencez par découper un
petit trou dans la zone de découpe avec une scie à cloison sèche. Si des obstacles sont
présents, couper selon un angle de 45 degrés rendra la réparation beaucoup plus facile.
Une fois que vous vous êtes assuré qu’il n’y a aucun obstacle dans l’emplacement choisi,
découpez le mur ou le plafond selon un angle de 90 degrés par rapport à la surface.
5. Isolation
Si l’emplacement dans le mur ou le plafond n’est pas déjà isolé, ajoutez une quantité
sufsante de matériau d’isolation pour remplir la cavité. Si le matériau utilisé est recouvert
de papier, positionnez le papier éloigné de l’enceinte.
Le système de montage intégré aux enceintes permet une installation rapide et facile en
quelques étapes.
1. Retirez la grille et mettez-la de côté dans un endroit propre et à l’abri de la poussière.
2. Les connecteurs des borniers assurent un contact able pour câbles dénudés. Fixez le
câble de l’enceinte en respectant les polarités de votre amplicateur (+ avec + et - avec
-). Assurez-vous que le canal gauche de l’amplicateur est relié au canal gauche de
l’enceinte, et que le canal droit de l’amplicateur est relié au canal droit de l’enceinte.
Une inversion de la polarité donnera une image stéréo brouillée et un rendu de grave
détérioré.

3. Assurez-vous que les pattes de xation sont tournées vers l’intérieur pour dégager
l’ouverture et insérez l’enceinte dans son emplacement.
Remarque : Le cadre de l’enceinte est conçu pour s’adapter à toutes les petites
imperfections de la paroi. Serrez les 4 vis de la façade de l’enceinte de manière à
ajuster parfaitement le cadre contre la paroi. En serrant les vis, les pattes de xation vont
automatiquement basculer vers l’extérieur, xant ainsi la paroi entre le cadre et les pattes
de xation.
Les grilles peuvent être peintes. Cependant, un grand soin doit être pris an de ne pas
obstruer les trous, car cela réduira considérablement la qualité sonore des enceintes.
Si vous envisagez de peindre vos grilles, nous vous recommandons de le faire avant toute
installation. Le tissu arrière doit être retiré avant de peindre les grilles. La surface doit être
nettoyée avec un solvant doux an d’éliminer la poussière et résidus éventuels. Elipson vous
recommande de peindre à l’aérosol avec un mélange de 5 volumes d’agent diluant pour
1 volume de peinture. Ne pas peindre la grille lorsqu’elle est encore placée sur l’enceinte.
V. PERSONNALISATION DES GRILLES
Attention : un serrage excessif peut déformer
l’enceinte, ssurer le plafond, déformer le cadre, et
rendre difcile l’installation de la grille.
4. Orientation du tweeter
Le tweeter orientable peut être dirigé vers la zone d’écoute pour permettre une précision
supérieure des aigus. Pour ce faire, il faut appuyer précautionneusement sur le berceau
plastique de celui-ci.
5. Ajustez la grille sur les enceintes
Remarque : Le cadre de l’enceinte comporte des aimants à haute résistance an de
maintenir la grille en place. Alignez simplement la grille avec le cadre de l’enceinte pour
la xer.

et expéditions. Nous vous invitons à les conserver pour un usage ultérieur. Protégez l’environnement : si vous souhaitez
vous débarrasser de l’emballage, notez que celui-ci est recyclable. Nous vous invitons à prendre les dispositions pour le
meilleur respect de l’environnement suivant les possibilités qui vous sont offertes (tri sélectif par exemple). À la n de sa
vie, cet appareil ne doit pas être jeté dans une poubelle classique. Il doit être retourné dans un centre de
recyclage pour équipements électroniques. Ce symbole sur le produit indique qu’il est conçu pour être
recyclé suivant un procédé particulier. Vous ferez ainsi un contribution très signicative pour la préservation
de l’environnement. Cet appareil respecte la directive européenne RoHS. Cela signie qu’il ne dégage
pas de substances polluantes lors du recyclage (Plomb, Mercure, Cadmium, Chrome hexavalent,
Polybromobiphenyles, Polybromodiphenyléthers).
GARANTIE
Les produits Elipson sont conçus et fabriqués suivant les meilleurs standards de qualité. Si votre produit Elipson présente un
défaut, Elipson ou un revendeur agréé pourra prendre en charge la réparation dans les limites de cette garantie.
La garantie est de 2 ans à partir de la date d’achat chez un revendeur agréé.
Dénition de la garantie
La garantie est limitée à la réparation de l’équipement Elipson. En aucun cas, le transport, les coûts associés ainsi que
l’installation ne sont couverts par la garantie.
La garantie n’est applicable qu’au premier propriétaire et n’est pas transférable.
La garantie ne s’applique pas dans les cas suivants :
- Le dommage est causé par une installation ou un branchement incorrect.
- Le dommage est causé par un usage incorrect, autre que celui décrit dans ce manuel, par négligence, ou modication
du produit par une personne non autorisée par Elipson.
- Les dommages causés par des accidents, la foudre, l’eau, le feu, une chaleur excessive ou toutes autres causes ne
pouvant être contrôlées par Elipson.
- Dans le cas d’une réparation par du personnel non autorisé. Cette garantie complète les garanties légales en vigueur
dans le pays du revendeur agréé.
Comment faire réparer un produit sous garantie
Prenez simplement contact avec votre revendeur agréé. Pour garantir un transport dans de bonnes conditions, utilisez
toujours l’emballage d’origine. Si vous utilisez un produit dans un autre pays que celui où vous l’avez acheté, prenez
contact avec l’importateur de votre pays de résidence qui vous orientera vers un centre technique agréé.

WARNING / IMPORTANT TECHNICAL NOTE
Please read before operating speakers. The warranty on speakers is void
if the voice coils are burned or damaged as a result of overpowering or
clipping.
OVERPOWERING : The volume control of most ampliers and receivers is
a logarithmic type, which means that full rated power may be reached
with the volume control as little as the halfway point. In addition, operating
the loudness feature or boosting the treble or bass controls increases power
output well beyond rated levels. AS A RESULT OF THE ABOVE FACTORS, A 30-
WATT AMPLIFIER CAN PRODUCE DISTORTED OUTPUT LEVELS OF OVER 100 WATT
AND MAY DAMAGE YOUR LOUDSPEAKERS.
CLIPPING : Clipping refers to the power level at which an amplier begins
to distort a waveform by attening its top and bottom into a square wave-
shape. When fed to tweeters and/or midrange speakers, this may result in
exceeding their maximum power handling capacity, causing damage to
the speaker voice coil. CLIPPING CAN BE IDENTIFIED BY FUZZ OR DISTORTED
SOUND. IF THIS IS HEARD, LOWER THE VOLUME IMMEDIATELY TO AVOID
DAMAGE TO YOUR SYSTEM. CONTINUOUS CLIPPING WILL DAMAGE OR BURN
OUT THE SPEAKERS.
I. UNPACKING
Elipson keeps to a strict quality control regimen and all factory-sealed products leave
our facility in perfect condition. If there are any damages visible or concealed they have
occurred in handling and must be reported immediately to your Elipson authorized dealer.
Carefully remove the speaker from the box, take caution as the size often deceives the
actual weight. Save all custom cartons and packaging foams for future use. They are
rather expensive and may come in handy for future upgrades.

II. PLACEMENT
In-ceiling placement
Ideally, the speakers should be placed symmetrically above the listening position, spaced
from about 1m to 3m. If possible, left and right speakers should be positioned at the same
distance from the listening position.
The In-ceiling Innite loudspeakers have been designed to reproduce all types of music
as accurately as possible, provided that a few rules should be followed to optimise
performance and achieve a realistic sound image. Before installing your speakers, you
should consider the placement carefully, taking into account the location of electrical,
plumbing and other xtures. Contact your dealer for assistance if you are not sure of the
best location in your particular room environment.

Preparation of mounting surfaces / Finishing of ceilings
Prior to start the installation of the speakers, it will be necessary to run cables to the speaker
locations. See your dealer for more information on cable installation. After the cable has
been properly installed, you are ready to mount the speakers.
IV. INSTALLATION
1. Determine the best area to mount your speakers
This area of the ceiling or wall should be free of obstructions such as electrical conduit,
HVAC ducts, or water lines. If possible, you should access to an attic or crawl space in order
to best noting the location of such obstacles.
2. Find the eventual beams / joists near the desired speaker mounting location
We highly recommend you to use a good stud-nder tool for this procedure. If you are
placing the speakers really close to some studs or other object, make sure you consider the
size of the bafes ange, which extends beyond the mounting hole.
3. Make the hole
A punch out template for setting the hole is provided in the box. Position the template in
the desired position and pencil an outline on the wall or ceiling.
4. Cutting the hole
Caution : this is the most important part of the entire installation. If you are uncertain about
obstructions in the mounting area, you should start by cutting a small hole within the
penciled area with a drywall saw. Cutting at a 45 degree angle will make drywall repair
much easier if you need to repair the hole because of unexpected obstructions. Once you
have determined there are no obstructions in your desired mounting location, start cutting
the nished hole at a 90 degree angle to the wall surface.
5. Add insulation
If the area in the ceiling or wall is not already insulated, add an adequate amount of
insulation material to ll the cavity. If the insulation material used is cover with foil or paper,
position the foil or paper away from the speaker.
The mounting-feet sytem integrated into your speaker makes its installation very quick and
easy to do, following only few steps.
1. Remove the grill and set aside in a clean dust-free environment.
2. Binding post terminals provide reliable contact for bare wire. Fix the cable of the speaker
respecting the polarity of your amplier (+ with + and - with -). Make sure the left channel of
the amplier is connected to the left channel of the speaker, and that the right channel of
the amplier is connected to the right channel of the speaker. A polarity inversion will result
in a fuzzy stereo image and a low level of bass.

3. Make sure the mounting feet are turned inward to clear the opening and insert the
speaker into the ceiling. Position the speaker into the hole.
Note : The ange of the speaker is designed to ex and conform to any small imperfections
in the wall surface. Tighten the 4 screws on the front of the bafe only enough to make
the ange become snug against the ceiling or wall. As you tighten the screws, the feet will
automatically ip into an outward position, thereby clamping the drywall between the feet
and the ange.
The grills can be painted. However, great care should be taken not to clog the holes, as this
will severely reduce the sound quality of the speakers.
If you plan to paint your grills, it should be done before the installation. The scrim cloth
backing must be removed prior to painting the grills. The surface should be cleaned with a
light solvent to remove any dust or residue. Elipson recommends a light spray-painting using
5 parts thinning agent to 1 part paint. Do not paint the grill while they
are attached to the speaker.
V. PAINTING INSTRUCTIONS
5. Secure the grill into place.
Note : The speaker ange incorporates high strength magnets to secure the grill into place.
Simply line the grill with the speaker ange.
4. Tweeter adjustment
The steerable tweeter can be directed to the listening area for superior treble and stereo
image accuracy.
Caution : Over-tightening may warp the bafe, crack
the ceiling, cause the ange to distort, and make the
grill difcult to install.

The packaging (box and packing) was designed for effective protection of your ELIPSON speaker during transportation and
shipping. Please save them for later use. Protect the environment : if you wish to dispose of the packaging, please do so
in the most environmentally responsible manner possible according to available measures (for example, sorted recycling).
At the end of its life, this device should not be disposed of the same way as household refuse. It should
be returned to a center for the recycling of electronic equipment. This symbol on the product indicates
that it has been designed so that it can be recycled according to specic procedures. You will therefore
be making a signicant contribution to the protection of the environment. This device respects the RoHS
European directive. This means that it does not emit polluting substances when it is recycled (such as lead,
mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybromobiphenyles, polybromdiphenylethers).
WARRANTY
Elipson products have been designed and manufactured to the highest quality standards. If something goes wrong with
your product, Elipson or its authorized distributor / dealer will handle the service and repair under these limited warranty
terms. This limited warranty is valid for a 2-year period from original purchase date from an authorized Elipson dealer.
Terms of limited warranty
The warranty is limited to equipment repair. Neither transportation, nor any other costs, nor any risk for removal,
transportation and installation of products is covered by this warranty. The warranty is only valid for the original purchaser
and is not transferable. The warranty will not apply in cases other than defects in materials and / or workmanship at the
date of purchase and will not be applicable in the following cases :
- Damages caused by wrong or incorrect installation or connection.
- Damages caused by incorrect use, other use than the one described in the owner’s manual, negligence, unauthorized
modication or use of parts or of accessories that are not authorized by Elipson.
- Damages caused by unauthorized, unsuitable or faulty ancillary equipment.
- Damages caused by accidents, lightning, water, re, heat or any other disturbance that would not be under Elipson
control or responsibility.
- For products, which serial number has been altered, deleted, removed or made illegible.
- In case of repair and service executed by an unauthorized service person.
This warranty complements any national/federal/regional law obligations of local distributors/dealers and does not affect
your statutory rights as a customer.
To claim repair under warranty
To claim repair or service under warranty you simply have to contact your local Elipson dealer, from whom your equipment
has been purchased. To ensure that you will be able to ship your damaged product in correct manner, always retain the
original packaging of your Elipson equipment. If you cannot contact your original dealer, or if you are using your Elipson
product outside the purchase country, you should contact Elipson national distributor in the residence country, who will
advise where the equipment can be serviced.
