Before operating your new appliance, please read all instructions carefully and keep
for future reference

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed as
below:
1. Read all instructions carefully before using any appliance.
2. Always ensure that the voltage on the rating label corresponds to the mains
voltage in your home.
3. Incorrect operation and improper use can damage the appliance and cause injury
to the user.
4. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety. Children should
be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
5. Check the power cord and plug regularly for any damage. If the cord or the plug
is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or qualified person in order
to avoid an electrical hazard.
6. Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped or damaged in any way. In case
of damage, take the unit in for examination and/or repair by an authorized service
agent.
7. Never immerse the unit in water or any other liquid for cleaning purposes.
8. Remove the plug from the socket by gripping the plug. Do not pull on the cord to
disconnect the appliance from the mains. Always unplug the unit when not in
use, before cleaning or when adding or removing parts.
9. The use of accessory attachments that are not recommended or supplied by the
manufacturer may result in injuries, fire or electric shock.
10. A short cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from becoming
entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
11. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter. Ensure that the cord
is not in a position where it can be pulled on inadvertently.
12. Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces and do not place on or near a hot gas
or electric burner or in a heated oven.
13. Do not use the appliance on a gas or electric cooking top or over or near an open
flame.
14. Use of an extension cord with this appliance is not recommended. However, if it
is necessary to use an extension lead, ensure that the lead is suited to the power
consumption of the appliance to avoid overheating of extension cord, appliance
or plug point. Do not place the extension cord in a position where it can be pulled
on by children or animals or tripped over.
15. This appliance is not suitable for outdoor use. Do not use the appliance for
anything other than its intended use.
16. Do not carry the appliance by the power cord.
17. Do not leave the appliance unattended during use. Always unplug the unit when
not in use or before cleaning.

18. Always operate the appliance on a smooth, even, stable surface. Do not place
the unit on a hot surface.
19. Ensure that the unit is switched off after use.
20. The manufacture does not accept responsibility for any damage or injury caused
by improper or incorrect use, or for repairs carried out by unauthorized
personnel.
21. In case of technical problems, switch off the machine and do not attempt to
repair it yourself. Return the appliance to an authorized service facility for
examination, adjustment or repair. Always insist on the use of original spare
parts. Failure to comply with the above mentions precautions and instructions,
could affect the safe operation of this product.
22. CAUTION: DO NOT OVER-FILL THIS KETTLE.
23. NEVER ATTEMPT TO MOVE OR CLEAN THIS PRODUCT UNTIL IT HAS
COMPLETELY COOLED.
24. DO NOT USE AUTOMATIC TIMERS IN CONJUNCTION WITH THIS PRODUCT.

THIS PRODUCT IS FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY!
NOTE: A short power cord is provided to reduce the risk of personal injury resulting from
becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Longer power-supply cords or
extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an
extension cord is used: (1) the marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at
least as great as the electrical rating of the product; (2) the extension cord should be
arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can
unintentionally be pulled on or tripped over by
children or pets.
CAUTION – To ensure continued protection against risk of electric shock, connect to
properly grounded outlets only.
If this appliance has a
three-prong plug
(meaning there are three prongs to fit into a
power outlet), please follow the below instructions:
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a three-prong power
outlet only in one direction. If it does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt
to modify the plug in any way.

PARTS & FEATURES
BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove all packaging materials before using. Wipe clean the interior and exterior of the
machine with a damp cloth. When using the kettle for the first time, it is recommended
that you clean your kettle before use by boiling a full kettle of water twice and then
discarding the water.
NOTE:
1. Use only cold water when filling the device.
2. Use only filtered water to reduce lime scale buildup.
3. The water level must be between the MAX. and MIN. marks.
4. Switch the kettle off before removing it from the 360° swivel base.
5. Always make sure that the lid is tightly closed.
6. The swivel base and exterior of the kettle must never become wet.
7. Kettle body used must match the 360° swivel base.

HOW TO USE
HOW TO USE:
1. Open the lid by pressing the Lid Lock Release Button (Figure 1).
Fill the kettle with water. Fill the kettle to the desired level. Do
not overfill. Be sure not to exceed the MAX line. To close the
lid, push down until it snaps into place.
2. Always place the 360° swivel base on a flat, level surface.
3. Place the kettle on the 360° swivel base (Figure 2).
•Check if the voltage at your location is the same as that
of the kettle. Details can be found on the label on the base of
the kettle.
4. Switch the kettle to position ‘1’ (Figure 3).
IMPORTANT: Never open the lid while water is boiling.
5. After boiling, the kettle switches off automatically. Disconnect
the kettle from the electric supply.
Warning: Be careful when opening the lid, the water is
very hot. Wait a few minutes for condensation to evaporate.
After boiling water, the outside of the kettle can be very
hot. Only grasp by the handle.
Do not try to lift kettle body with both hands.
Do not open the lid when pouring.
If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected. The
kettle is only to be used with the base provided.

Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning. Never immerse
the base area or cord in water, or allow moisture to contact with these parts.
NOTE: Lime Scale forms over time when water is heated. Though scale is natural and
harmless, it may produce a powdery substance or mineral-like chunks that can get
into your hot beverages and affect the taste. While the concealed heating element in
this kettle is designed to help reduce scale buildup, the filter helps prevent particles
from pouring into your beverage
Removal of mineral deposits and Lime Scale
Mineral deposits in tap water may cause the kettle interior to discolor .To remove this build-
up, use Liquid De-scaler, a simple to use, non-toxic cleaner.
Alternatively:
1. Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar and the remainder with water and be allowed
to stand overnight. DO NOT BOIL!
2. Empty the solution from the kettle, any stains remaining inside the spout can be
removed by rubbing with a damp cloth. Fill the kettle with clean water, bring to boil and
then discard the water. Repeat and the kettle will then be ready to use.
The outside of the kettle can be wiped over with a damp cloth.
Cleaning appearance of housing
Wipe the appearance of housing with a damp cloth or cleaner, never use harsh chemical
cleansers.
Cleaning the filter
Remember to clean the filter with a damp cloth at intervals. The Filter can be detached for
easier cleaning simply by pulling it out. To attach, insert the Filter into the support dent.
CAUTION: Do not use chemical, steel, wooden or abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of
the kettle.

WARRANTY IS ONLY VALID WITH A DATED PROOF OF PURCHASE
1. Your small kitchen appliance is built with precision, inspected and tested before
leaving our factory.
2. It is warranted, to the original purchaser to be free from any manufacturing
defects under normal use and conditions for one (1) year, cord excluded. This
Warranty applies only to the original purchaser of this product.
3. If you need to exchange the unit, please return it in its original carton, with a sales
receipt, to the store where you purchased it. If you are past the stores allowed return
policy period, please see the enclosed Warranty.
4. If you use your appliance for household use and according to instructions, it should
give you years of satisfactory service.
5. During the one-year warranty period, a product with a defect will be either
repaired or replaced with a new or reconditioned comparable model (at our option)
when the product is returned to our Service Center. (See the “Returns”section
below).
6. The repaired or replacement product will be in warranty for the remaining balance
of the one-year warranty period and an additional one-month period.
7. This limited warranty covers appliances purchased and used within the 50
contiguous states plus the District of Columbia and does NOT cover:
- Damages caused by unreasonable use, neglect, normal wear and tear, commercial
use, improper assembly or installation of product.
- Damages caused in shipping.
- Damages caused by replacement or resetting of house fuses or circuit breakers.
- Defects other than manufacturing defects.
- Breakage caused by misuse, abuse, accident, alteration, lack of proper care and
maintenance, or incorrect current or voltage.
- Lost or missing parts of the product. Parts will need to be purchased separately.
- Damages of parts that are not electrical; for example: cracked or broken plastic or
glass.
- Damage from service or repair by unauthorized personnel.
- Extended warranties purchased via a separate company or reseller.
- Consumer’s remorse is not an acceptable reason to return a product to our Service
Center.
*One Year Limited Warranty valid only in the 50 contiguous states plus the District of
Columbia, excluding Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the USA;
product usage which is in violation of the written instructions provided with the unit
will void this warranty.
For international warranty, please contact the local distributor.

RETURN INSTRUCTIONS
RETURNS:
A. Any return of defective merchandise to the manufacturer must be processed
accordingly by first contacting customer service (contact information shown below)
to obtain an RA # (Return Authorization Number). We will not accept any returns of
merchandise without an applicable RA #.
B. IMPORTANT RETURN INSTRUCTIONS. Your Warranty depends on your following
these instructions if you are returning the unit to Maxi-Matic USA:
1. Carefully pack the item in its original carton or other suitable box to avoid
damage in shipping.
2. Before packing your unit for return, be sure to enclose:
a) Your name, full address with zip code, daytime telephone
number, and RA#,
b) A dated sales receipt or PROOF OF PURCHASE,
c) The model number of the unit and the problem you are having
(Enclose in an envelope and tape directly to the unit before the box is
sealed,) and
d) Any parts or accessories related to the problem.
3. Maxi-Matic USA recommends you ship the package U.P.S ground service
for tracking purposes. We cannot assume responsibility for lost or damaged
products returned to us during incoming shipment. For your protection,
always carefully package the product for shipment and insure it with the
carrier. C.O.D shipments cannot be accepted.
4. All return shipping charges must be prepaid by you.

6. Once your return has been received by our warehouse, Maxi-Matic USA
will repair or replace the product if it is defective in material or
workmanship, subject to the conditions in paragraph B.
7. Maxi-Matic will pay the shipping charges to ship the repaired or
replacement product back to you.

seguirse, incluyendo las siguientes.
1. Lea todas las instrucciones cuidadosamente antes de usar el aparato.
2. Siempre asegúrese de que el voltaje gravado en la etiqueta del aparato,
corresponda con el voltaje de su casa.
3. El uso incorrecto e impropio puede causar daños al aparato o personales al
usuario.
4. Este aparato no está diseñado para uso de personas, incluyendo niños física o

1) Se incluye un cordón eléctrico corto en este aparato con el propósito de reducir

aparato, o que éste pueda ser jalado por niños o sus mascotas.
Ésta tiene un enchufe polarizado. Significa que una de las dos navajas que componen el
enchufe es más ancho que el otro, favor de seguir las siguientes recomendaciones:
Para reducir el riesgo de una descarga eléctrica. Este enchufe solo se conecta de una
sola manera en la toma de corriente eléctrica, si el enchufe no entra en el receptáculo
inviértalo y trate de introducirlo de nuevo, si aún no entra en el receptáculo, contacte a un
electricista calificado. No intente modificar el enchufe de ninguna manera.
