Denota el riesgo de lesiones personales, la muerte o daños a la herramienta en caso
de no seguir y respetar las instrucciones de este manual.
Desconectar inmediatamente el enchufe de la electricidad en caso de que el cable se dañe
y durante el mantenimiento.

vas.

se trabaja madera u otros materiales. ¡No use nunca la herramienta para trabajar sobre

Instrucciones especiales de seguridad
Verifique que las ranuras de ventilación no estén bloqueadas.
Sostenga siempre la sierra con ambas manos mientras trabaja. Y nunca la use mientras está de pie en
una escalera.
Trabaje siempre sobre una plataforma cuando tenga que aserrar objetos a una gran altura.
Nunca detenga el disco de sierra aplicando presión al disco.
Nunca utilice discos de acero de alta velocidad.
Nunca utilice discos abrasivos o discos de corte. Utilice siempre el tipo correcto de disco para realizar
bien el trabajo.
Nunca use discos doblados o con dientes faltantes.
Nunca utilice discos demasiado grandes.
Verifique que la orientación del disco coincida con la dirección de rotación del motor. Los dientes del
disco siempre deben apuntar hacia arriba cuando se ven desde la parte delantera de la sierra.
Cuando manipule el disco use siempre guantes protectores. Nunca ponga sus manos debajo de la sierra
o ni tampoco trate de quitar materiales del área de trabajo mientras el disco gira. Nunca coloque los
dedos ni las manos sobre las partes que se están cortando, y tampoco las ubique delante o detrás de la
sierra mientras está en funcionamiento.
Nunca bloquee el protector del disco cuando esté abierto, excepto al cambiar el disco como se describe
a continuación:
Verifique que el protector puede moverse libremente y que el mecanismo de cierre funciona de forma
correcta antes de usarlo. No utilice la sierra si se presenta alguno de estos casos.
Utilice siempre el separador de disco, excepto cuando la sierra este siendo dirigida hacia el centro de la
parte a cortar.
Mantenga siempre el eje y las bridas a mano para ajustar las hojas de la sierra.
Nunca permita que el disco entre en contacto con la parte a cortar o con otros objetos cuando arranque
la sierra.

Verifique que no haya puntillas, tornillos u otros objetos en la pieza a cortar que puedan provocar daños
al disco y asegúrese de que la superficie debajo de la pieza no impida realizar el corte.
Nunca monte la sierra en una prensa o similares, con el disco hacia arriba ni tampoco la utilice para
cortar partes de esta forma, pueden `provocar accidentes graves.
Aserrado
Asegure siempre la pieza que va a cortar con un tornillo o algo similar. Nunca use sus manos para man-
tener firme la pieza.
Ajuste la profundidad de corte aflojando la perilla de bloqueo (3), ajuste la altura de la placa base con
respecto al disco y vuelva a apretar la perilla de bloqueo.
Si es necesario, ajuste el ángulo del bisel aflojando la perilla de ajuste de bisel (5) e incline el disco al
ángulo deseado (se puede leer en el indicador de ángulo 0-45°, con respecto a la vertical;). Vuelva a
apretar la perilla de ajuste del bisel. Coloque la guía lateral (7) en su soporte (6) en la placa base y asegú-
rela. Si necesita cortar la pieza más lejos del borde, más allá del alcance de la guía lateral, debe colocar
una regla en la pieza con ayuda de una abrazadera.
Compruebe que la sierra está correctamente ajustada y que todos los perrillas y pernos están bien apre-
tados antes de empezar a aserrar.
Presione el interruptor de seguridad (1) y el interruptor de encendido / apagado (2) ubicados en el
mango. Deje que la sierra alcance la velocidad máxima antes de comenzar a cortar la pieza.
Coloque la sección del motor de la sierra en la parte de la pieza que no está siendo cortada.
Sujete la sierra por la manija y el mango frontal y luego corte en línea recta. No fuerce la sierra lateral-
mente.
Cambiar la sierra inmediatamente si la hoja se atasca o se pegó en la pieza de corte. Si la hoja se atasca,
puede provocar que la sierra retroceda de forma violenta hacia el usuario.
Nunca quite la sierra de la pieza hasta que el disco no se haya detenido completamente y nunca coloque
la sierra a menos que el protector del disco esté completamente cerrado.
Reemplazo de la hoja
Abra totalmente el protector del disco (11) y asegúrelo en la posición de apertura utilizando un destorni-
llador o un trozo de madera.

Asegure la hoja para evitar que gire durante su reemplazo insertando un destornillador o pieza similar a
través de uno de los agujeros de la hoja.
Desatornillar el perno de bloqueo (13) girándolo en sentido contrario a las manecillas del reloj, Quite el
tornillo de bloqueo y la brida exterior (12) y luego el disco. No deseche el disco viejo en la basura domés-
tica. Deséchelo de forma correcta de acuerdo a las leyes locales.
Retire las virutas o aserrín de alrededor del eje y de las bridas.
Coloque eñ nuevo disco, la brida exterior y el perno de bloqueo. Asegúrese de colocar disco correcta-
mente con respecto a la dirección de rotación, vea la indicación en la hoja.
Verifique que el disco toca los bordes cuando se sustituye. Apriete el perno de bloqueo, pero no lo apriete
demasiado.
Agarre el protector de la hoja y quite la herramienta o pieza de madera que sostiene el protector abierto.
Compruebe que el protector de la hoja funciona correctamente.
Limpieza y mantenimiento
Para limpiar la sierra, limpie sus partes externas con un paño húmedo. De vez en cuando, lubrique las
partes móviles con aceite.

tienda de distribución autorizada Elite, Centros de Servicio Corporativo, Autorizado u otro punto de venta Elite para que sea reparado gratuitamente
(o reemplazado si la reparación resulta imposible).

Esta garantía NO APLICA por mantenimiento inapropiado, la vida de un
motor depende de las condiciones en las que es operado y el cuidado que
reciba. En algunas aplicaciones como en construcción y trabajo continuo en
campamentos, las plantas eléctricas son usualmente utilizadas en medios
donde hay polvo e impurezas, lo que puede causar un desgaste prematuro.
Tal desgaste, cuando es causado por impurezas, polvo, residuos de la limpie-
za, o cualquier otro material abrasivo que haya entrado en el motor por
causa de un mantenimiento inapropiado no es cubierto por la garantía
La garantía incluye en el mismo tiempo partes mecánicas como electrónicas
siempre y cuando no se incurra en una negación de garantía.
* Para que la garantía sea efectiva durante 2 años, se debe efectuar una
revisión de mantenimiento anual, antes de nalizar cada año en curso
de uso del equipo, en esta revisión se realizará una evaluación del
equipo y se le entregará un visto bueno al equipo para prolongar la
garantía durante 1 año más.
La garantía podrá no ser renovada si el equipo se encuentra muy
deteriorado. La revisión del primer año, no tiene costo en mano de obra
para el usuario / propietario del equipo. Esta revisión no incluye los
elementos que deben ser sustituidos por desgaste y/o mal uso.*
* Se excluye de este tiempo de garantía generadores, compresores,
hidrolavadoras y aspiradoras de marca ELITE, los cuales gozarán de
1 año de garantía*
- Las baterías son consideradas piezas de desgaste y no las cubren los 3 años de garantía, pero ante cualquier falla otorgamos un tiempo de 90 días a
partir de la compra para que se acerque a cualquier Centro de Servicio corporativo o autorizado de nuestra marca para la respectiva revisión.
- Las herramientas que son trabajadas en ambientes de polvo y alta contaminación por partículas que tengan contaminación interna, se recomienda su
eliminación con aire comprimido (máx. 3 bares).
- Incluye un mantenimiento preventivo gratuito durante el primer año de garantía, el mantenimiento no incluye piezas de desgaste.

Denotes the risk of personal injury, death or damage to the tool if you do not follow and follow

Special safety instructions
Check that the ventilation slots are not blocked.
Always hold the saw with both hands during use. and never use it while standing on a ladder.
Always stand on an approved working platform when sawing objects at a great height.
Never stop the saw blade by applying pressure to the saw or to the side of the blade.
Never use high-speed steel blades.
Never use abrasive discs or cutting discs. Always use the correct type of saw blade for the job.
Never use blades that are bent or have teeth missing.
Never use oversized blades.
Check that the orientation of the blade matches the rotation direction of the motor. The blades teeth must
always point upwards when viewed from the front of the saw.
Always use protective gloves when handling the blade. Never put your hand under the saw or try to
remove material from the working area while the blade in rotating. Never place your fingers or hand on
the item being cut in front of or behind the saw while it is running.
Never lock the blade guard in its open position except when changing blades as described below.
Check that the guard can be moved freely and that the closures mechanism works correctly before use.
Do not use the saw if this is not the case.
Always use the riving knife, except when the saw is being forwarded onto the centre of the item to be cut.
Always keep the spindle and flanges for fitting saw blades clean.
Never allow the blade to be in contact with the item to be cut or other objects when starting the saw.
Check that there are no nails, screws or other objects that could damage the blade in the item to be cut,
and that the surface under the item will not hinder cutting.
Never mount the saw in a vice or similar with the blade uppermost to cut items in this way. Serious acci-
dents can occur.

Sawing
Always secure the item to be cut in a vice or similar. Never use your hand to keep the item steady.
Adjust the cutting depth by loosening the lock knob (3), adjust the height of the base plate in relation to
the blade and retighten the lock knob.
If necessary, adjust the bevel angle by loosening the bevel adjustment knob (5) and tilting the blade to the
required angle (0-45° to the vertical; can be read off the angle gauge). Retighten the bevel adjustment
knob.
Fit the side guide (7) in its bracket (6) on the base plate and secure. If you need to cut in item further from
the edge, beyond the reach of the side guide, you must attach a straightedge to the item using a clamp.
Check that the saw is set up correctly and that all knobs and bolts are correctly tightened before starting
to saw.
Press the safety switch (1) and the on/off switch (2) on the handle. Allow the saw to reach full speed
before starting to cut the item.
Place the motor section of the saw on that part of the item not being sawn off.
Hold the saw by the handle and front grip and cut in a straight line. Do not force the saw sideways.
Switch the saw off immediately if the blade jams or gets stuck in the item being cut. If the blade gets stuck,
it may cause the saw to kick back violently towards the user.
Never lift the saw from the item until the blade has come to a complete stop and never put the saw down
unless the blade guard is fully closed.
Blade replacement
Open the blade guard (11) fully and secure it in the open position using a screwdriver or a piece of wood.
Secure the blade to prevent it turning during replacement by inserting a screwdriver or similar item throu-
gh one of the holes in the blade.
Undo the lock bolt (13) by turning it anticlockwise

Remove the lock bolt and outer flange(12) and then the blade. Do not dispose of the old blade in your
domestic refuse. Dispose of it correctly in accordance with local guidelines.
Remove any chips or sawdust from around the spindle and flanges.
Fit the new blade, outer flange and lock bolt. Be sure to fit the blade correctly with regard to direction of
rotation see the markings on the blade.
Check that the blade touches the blanges when replaced. Tighten the lock bolt, but do not overtighten.
Take hold of the blade guard and remove the tool or piece of wood holding the guard open. Check to
ensure that the blade guard works correctly.
Cleaning and maintenance
To clean the saw wipe its external parts with a damp cloth.
From time to time lubricate moving parts with oil.

This warranty DOES NOT APPLY for improper maintenance, the life of an
engine depends on the conditions in which it is operated and the care it
receives. In some applications such as construction and continuous work in
camps, power plants are usually used in environments where there is dust
and impurities, which can cause premature wear.
Such wear, when caused by impurities, dust, cleaning debris, or any other
