IMPORTANT
Before you begin: Open, i entify an count all parts prior to assembly. Lay out parts on a flat an
non-abrasive surface. You will nee the parts i entifie on page 5 an 6 of this instruction manuals.
NOTE: IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO USE GLUE WITH DOWELS. EXCESS GLUE CAN BE WIPED
OFF WITH DAMP CLOTH.
Insert the owel at least half way by tapping lightly with a rubber mallet, IF NECESSARY.
CAM LOCK SYSTEM OPERATION
HOW THE KNOCK DOWN (KD) ASSEMBLY SYSTEM WORKS
1. Screw the Cam Bolt into the threa e inserts on the panel. Connect both panels together; making sure Cam
Bolt goes into the pre- rille hole on the en of panel for Cam Lock.
2. Insert the Cam Lock into the pre- rille large hole on the panel. Make sure the arrow on the face of Cam
Lock faces out an points towar s Cam Bolt.
3. Take a Phillips screw river an rotate the Cam Lock clockwise to lock the Cam Bolt in place.
You are now rea y to assemble the KD unit.

Dra er Assembling
NOTE: Please o not fully tighten all bolts until you finish assembling all parts. Once assemble , go
back an fully tighten all bolts. This will make the assembly easier.
1. Unpack the unit an confirm that you have all the har ware an require parts. Assemble the unit on a
carpete floor or the empty carton to avoi any scratch.
2. Securely screw the Cam Bolts (3) into the esignate small holes on the Drawer Front (R) using a
Phillips screw river. DO NOT over tighten the cam bolts.
3. Fasten the Drawer Back Panel (S) between the Drawer Si es (T an U) with four 38 mm Screws (5).

4. Sli e the Drawer Bottom Panel (V) into the grooves on the Drawer Si es (T an U) until fully inserte
into the Drawer Back Panel (S).
5. Attach the Drawer Front (R) to the Drawer Si es (T an U) by engaging four Small Cam Locks (1).
(Refer to page 3 on Cam Lock system operation supplement).

6. Attach the Drawer Pull (12) to the top si e of the Drawer Front (R) with two 12 mm Flat Hea Screws
(13).
7. Securely screw the Cam Bolts (3) into the esignate small holes on the Top Baffles (L, M an N) using
a Phillips screw river. DO NOT over tighten the cam bolts.

8. Glue the Woo Dowels (4) into the inner holes on the Back Baffle an Top Panel (L an K) respectively
as shown.
NOTE: It is very important to use a small amount of glue on both en s of owels.
9. Align an attach the Back Baffle (L) to the Top Panel an secure it in place with four Large Cam Locks
(2).

10. Align an attach the Si e Baffles (M an N) to the previous assembly by engaging eight Large Cam
Locks (2).
11. Securely screw the Cam Bolts (3) into the esignate small holes on the Drawer Box Left Panel (C) an
the Fixe Shelf (O) using a Phillips screw river. DO NOT over tighten the cam bolts.

12. Glue the Woo Dowels (4) into the inner holes on the Right Si e Frame (B), the Drawer Box Left Panel
(C) an the Drawer Box Back Panel (D).
13. Fit the Crossbar (J) onto the mi le front U-shape bracket on the Right Si e Frame (B).
14. Insert one 15 mm Bolt (8) with the Lock Washer (10) an Flat Washer (11) through the metal tube an
screw into the U-shape bracket.
15. Repeat the same proce ure to attach the Drawer Box Back Panel (D) to the back post of the Right Si e
Frame (B).

16. Procee to insert one 12 mm Pan Hea Screw (6) through the metal tab an screw into the Drawer Box
Back Panel (D).
17. Using the inserte woo owel as a gui e, attach the Drawer Box Left Panel (C) to the Drawer Box Back
Panel (D) an the Crossbar (J) with two 32 mm Bolts (9) an two Washers (10 an 11).
18. Fasten the Drawer Box Left Panel (C) to the Drawer Box Back Panel (D) by engaging two Large Cam
Locks (2).

engaging six Large Cam Locks (2).
20. Orient an fit the Back Supports (H an I) between the Back Stretchers (E an F) an fasten them into
place with four 15 mm Bolts (8) an four Washers (10 an 11).

Si e Frame (B) into the Back Stretchers (E an F) an fasten them into place with two 15 mm Bolts (8)

22. Insert one 32 mm Bolt (9) with one Lock Washer (10) an one Flat Washer (11) through the metal tube
on the Drawer Box Left Panel (C) an screw into the Back Right Support (I).

23. Fit the Top Front Stretcher (G) onto the U-shape bracket on the Right Si e Frame (B) an fasten it in
place by using one 15 mm Bolt (8) with one Lock Washer (10) an one Flat Washer (11).

25. Fit the U-shape brackets on the Left Si e Frame (A) into the Stretchers (E, F an G) an secure them in
place with three 15 mm Bolts (8) an three Washers (10 an 11).
26. Stan the assemble unit upright.

Align an attach the Back Panels (P an Q) between the Back Stretchers (E an F) an the Back Supports
(H an I) with the 12 mm Pan Hea Screws (6).

28. Attach 2 Cable Wheels (W) to the Back Panels (P an Q) with four 12 mm Bolts (7).
NOTE: You can use the Cable Wheels to help keep your esk’s cables an cor s organize .
29. Place the assemble Top Panel (K) onto the previous assembly. Make sure that the mounting holes of the
metal tabs overlap the threa e inserts un erneath the Top Panel (K).

Insert the 15 mm Bolts (8) with the Washers (10 an 11) through the metal tabs an screw into the Top
Panel (K).

31. Insert the Grommet (14) to cover the hole in the Top Panel (K).
32. To insert the assemble rawer into the frame, exten the Ball Bearing Sli e Tracks on the unit all the
way forwar (inclu ing ball bearing cart), then align the Sli e Runners on the assemble rawer with the
Sli e Tracks an push the rawer carefully insi e until it stops.
NOTE: If the rawer oes not go in smoothly, please take it out an repeat the step. If you nee to
remove the rawer, please pull the rawer all the way out, then simultaneously pushes the plastic release
lever of the ball bearing sli es up on one si e an own on the other si e, an then pull it completely out.

Assembly Instructions
Tools require (not inclu e ): Phillips screw river, stu fin er, tape measure, pencil, power rill an 1/8” rill bit.
33. Position the assemble unit at the esire location against a wall. If necessary, a just the Floor Levelers
at the bottom of the Si e Frames to level the unit.
34. Now, follow the instructions printe on the plastic bag containing the Tipping Restraint Har ware to
attach the tip-over restraints to the unit an the wall.
NOTE: The tipping restraint har ware inclu e is for woo en stu wall construction. It must be attache
to a wall stu . Depen ing upon your wall construction, ifferent anchor har ware maybe require . Please
contact your local har ware store for assistance. Young chil ren can be seriously injure by tipping
furniture. You must install the tipping restraint har ware with the unit to prevent the unit from tipping,
causing any acci ents or amage. The tipping restraints are inten e only as a eterrent, they are not a
substitute for proper a ult supervision. The tipping restraints are not earthquake restraints. If you wish to
a the extra security of earthquake restraints, they must be purchase an installe separately .
