Remove lower front panel by removing two side screws.
Tilt out, lift up and remove panel.
If installing wheel kit, attach wheels to base plate (P/N E989512).
Flip base plate over. Slide wheels onto back edge of base
plate, then fasten using six screws from “Wheel Kit” bag.

Single-Sided Install
(For Double-Sided Installs, skip to step 6)
Caution: While tilting the stand onto or off the
wheels, support base plate with one foot to
prevent rollback.

Install stand to base plate as shown. Fasten by installing
twelve screws from “Base Mounting Screws” bag. Use L-
Key included with stand to tighten socket head screws.
Level base plate by adjusting feet (turning it counter-
clockwise lowers the foot, turning it clockwise raises the
foot).
Install backer board (P/N E990854) to stand by removing eight screws
on back cover (discard screws and back cover) and installing backer
board with screws and washers included with backer board.

Unscrew display door thumbscrews. Open door and engage prop in
hole.

Remove lower front panel from 1st stand by removing two
side screws. Tilt out, lift up and remove panel. Repeat on
2nd stand.
Double-Sided Install

Install 1st stand to double base plate (P/N E989705) as shown. Fasten
by installing eight screws from “Base Mounting Screws” bag. Use L-Key
included with stand to tighten socket head screws. Level double base
plate by adjusting feet (turning it counter-clockwise lowers the foot,
turning it clockwise raises the foot).

Install one spacer (included with double base) onto each
stand by removing eight screws on back cover (discard back
cover) and installing spacer using the same screws. Both
spacers (1 per stand) are required if no backer board is
used.
For optional backer board (P/N E990151), discard one
spacer and use backer board in place of one of the spacers.

Unscrew display door thumbscrews on 1st stand. Open door

Install 2nd stand to double base plate as shown. Fasten by
installing eight screws from “Base Mounting Screws” bag.
Use L-Key included with stand to tighten socket head
screws.

Fasten stands together using screws from double base kit,
“Upper Mounting Screws” bag. Install one screw from
each direction.
Proceed to step 12, performing steps 12-57
on 1st stand, then repeating on 2nd stand.

Remove cable cover doors from display. Attach VESA
Spacer to back of display using 14mm screws from “VESA
Spacer and Screws” bag. Note display orientation and
correct mounting holes for I-Series (ESY models). Skip to
step 16.

For Windows I-Series, it is necessary to install the power
adapter to the display before attaching the VESA adapter.
Remove the display cable cover. Thread the power adapter cable
through the circular hole in the display door as shown and connect
it to the display. Reassemble the display cable cover.

Attach VESA Spacer to back of display using 22mm
screws from “VESA Spacer and Screws” bag. Note
display orientation and use correct mounting holes for
I-Series (ESY models). Skip to step 16.

15 24”/27” Monitors
Remove cable cover doors from display. Attach VESA
Spacer to back of display using 18mm screws from “VESA
Spacer and Screws” bag. Note display orientation and
correct mounting holes for I-Series (ESY models) vs.
monitors (ET models). Proceed to step 16.

Loosely install two pan head screws from
“VESA Spacer and Screws” bag in upper
threaded holes of VESA Spacer.

Assemble display to display door. Use upper set of keyholes for 24” or 27”
displays. Use lower set of keyholes for 22” displays. Install two additional pan
head screws from “VESA Spacer and Screws” bag in screw holes as shown.
Fully tighten upper screws.

Install power supply in right bay. Secure power supply
with velcro strap.

Route the DC cable from the power supply to the
display as shown. Use cable ties to tie off cable where
indicated by blue arrows.
For E534462 model, power strip is not included. Mount
power strip to bracket using included large cable ties.
For E989314 model, power strip is included.
Use the included 0.3m power cable (either C5 or C13,
depending on the power supply) to connect the power
supply to the power strip.
Note: Schurter power strip P/N 4747 (or
equivalent) is suggested for E534462 model.

If using I-Series, route USB-A cable from USB hub to I-
Series. Use cable ties to tie off cable where indicated by
blue arrows.

If using monitor, connect HDMI cable to monitor and route into
stand as shown, for connection to compute module later. Connect
USB-A to USB-B cable to monitor and to USB hub. Use cable ties to
tie off cables where indicated by blue arrows.

Disengage printer door latch by sliding upward. Pull
printer door open.

Remove mid cover by loosening two screws, then
rotating cover out and pulling down.

Remove printer cage by tilting out and lifting up.

For E534462 model, power cable is not included. Purchase a 1.8m to
5m (depending on length needed) C13-style power cable for your
region. For E989314 model, choose correct 4.5-5.0m power cable
(NA/EU/UK) from the included cables.
If routing power from wall source, route power cable from wall outlet
through base, lower stand, and access hole in rear of printer bay, and
connect to bottom of power strip. Use cable ties to tie off power
cable where indicated by blue arrows.
Note: If using ceiling pole kit (P/N E989893),
STOP and follow UM600659 before proceeding.

If routing LAN cable from wall source, route cable through base,
lower stand, access hole in rear of printer bay, and upper stand.
If using I-Series, connect cable to I-series. If using monitor, use
cable ties to tie off as shown but leave unconnected.

I-Series Monitor
Install AudioNav Printer Door by guiding tabs into
holes in door, then sliding inwards. Reinstall screw as
shown.
Storm AudioNav or Assist Button Kit Installation
(if not installing either, skip to step 31)
Remove door cover screw shown. Slide printer door
cover out and down to remove. For Assist Button Kit,
skip to step 30.

Install Assist Button Kit (Elo P/N E284334) by guiding tabs
into holes in door, then sliding inwards. Reinstall screw as
shown.
Connect USB cable (included with Assist Kit) and tie off
cable where indicated by blue arrow. Attach braille
“Help” label to front of door below button.
29 Note: This stand supports AudioNav 6-key
keypads (not included). MiniUSB cable required
(StarTech USB2HABM6LA suggested).
Connect USB cable to AudioNav. Install AudioNav device
using screws from “Printer Door (AudioNav)” bag and tie
off cable where indicated by blue arrow. Skip to step 31.
