2.0 POWER SUPPLY
The TZW 203+ unit is powered only via the AC/AC adapter code ADM 101 provided
The unit does not have any ca ibrations or presettings inside.
Any operations on the machine must be carried out by qua ified personne .
The adapter must be inserted in an 220-240V - 50Hz AC current outlet

3.0 INSTALLATION
a) Check that all the units to be installed are OFF.
b) Connect the 2 sources to the sub-D 15 v. f. HD IN1 and IN2 conn. ith 2 VGA m/m
cables.
c) Connect the destination to the sub-D 15 v. f. HD conn. ith the cable provided.
d) Connect the stereo audio in output from the 2 sources to the 2 RCA sockets, AUDIO IN 1
and 2.
e) Tap the balanced stereo audio in output from the BALANCED terminal and connect it
to a sound amplification and broadcast system.
f) Connect the AC po er supply as described in chap 2.0 and check that the built-in led of
key 1 on the front panel of the unit lights up
4.0 LOCAL CONTROL
The TZW 203+ s itcher can be controlled using 2 keys on the front panel of the unit.
The built-in led s itches on to indicate hich source is s itched on the output.
At po er-on, the source 1 is s itched automatically.

5.0 CONTROL VIA DRY CONTACTS AND TALLY
The TZW 203+ s itcher can be controlled using 2 dry contacts connected to the sub-D
15 v.f. REMOTE connector on the back of the machine.
T o external signals are provided for s itching on of the 2 talley leds connected as
indicated in the figure belo .

6.0 AUXILIARY FUNCTIONS
The TZW 203+ switcher has two auxiliary functions that are activated with 2 dry contacts
connected to the sub-D 15 v f REMOTE conn located on the back of the machine
The function remains active as long as the related pin is at ground (pin 7)
6 1 AUTOSWITCHING
The active source is displayed on the VGA/XGA output
If both sources are active, source 1 has priority
6 2 RGB MUTE
No source is switched on the output
This feature is particularly useful when, between one switching and the next, the images
to be displayed are to be prepared on the computer

7.0 COMPUTER CO TROL
All the functions of the TZW 203+ switcher can be computer-controlled simply sending a
hexadecimal character.
RS 232 standard transmission must be at 8 bits
1 stop bit, no parity. Speed is 9600 baud.
The character must be sent to pin 2 of the sub-D 15 v. f. REMOTE conn. located on the
back of the machine, The ground is pin 7.
The correspondence between the code sent by the computer and the functions activated
on the TZW 203+ is shown in the table below.
The AUTOSWITCHING and RGB MUTE commands are de-activated repeating the
command or sending the code of another command.
Pressing a key on the built-in keyboard, the
AUTOSWITCHING and RGB MUTE commands are de-activated.
In this case, the input of the key pressed will be switched on the output.

This product is guaranteed for 2 years from the date of purchase.
If the fault in the product is due to improper use or operations
carried out by third parties, the warranty is forfeited.
During the warranty period, Elpro will repair the faulty units free of charge.
The faulty units must be sent CARRIAGE FREE to the Elpro offices in Turin with a regular
accompanying note.
The units repaired will be returned CARRIAGE FORWARD to the addressee.
Outside the warranty period, Elpro will repair the faulty units EX its Turin offices, charging
the cost of the repair to the customer.
