1.2 Voordat je begint
Trek de stekker van je pc uit het stopcontact en ontkoppel alle kabels welke
aangesloten zijn op de computer voordat je begint met de installatie.
2.0 Installatieprocedure hardware
1. Haal de stekkers van je computer uit het stopcontact.
2. Verwijder alle aan de computer aangesloten bekabeling.
3. Schroef de kast van je computer open.
4. Verwijder het deksel.
5. Zoek een vrij PCI slot (de korte, witte aansluiting op het moederbord)
LET OP! Gebruik niet de onderste 2 PCI sloten. Dit ivm de snelheid en werking
van het product.
6. Steek de kaart stevig en recht in het vrije PCI slot.
7. Plaats het deksel terug op je computer.
8. Schroef het deksel vast.
9. Sluit alle kabels aan.
10. Start je computer op.
3.0 Installatieprocedure software
3.1 Installatieprocedure software 2000/XP
1. Plaats de meegeleverde CD-ROM in het CD-ROM of DVD station van je
computer.
2. De CD start automatisch
3. Selecteer de juiste taal
4. Klik op “Volgende”
5. Selecteer “EM4028 Windows 2000/XP”
6. Klik op “Volgende”
7. Sluit de installatieprocedure af met behulp van de aanwijzingen op het scherm
Je kunt ook handmatig de wizard starten, mocht de installatie niet automatisch
beginnen. Klik op "Start", selecteer "Uitvoeren", typ dan "x: \ wizard.exe" (de "x" staat
voor de stationsletter van je cd-of dvd-station) en druk op Enter.
3.2 Windows Vista/7/8
1. Plaats de meegeleverde CD-ROM in het CD-ROM of DVD station van je
computer.

6.0 Waarschuwingen en aandachtspunten
Vanwege wet- en regelgeving bepaald door het Europese parlement, kan sommige

7.0 Garantievoorwaarden
De garantietermijn van vijf jaar geldt voor alle Eminent producten, tenzij anders
aangegeven op het moment van aankoop. Bij aankoop van een tweedehands Eminent
product resteert de garantieperiode gemeten vanaf het moment van de aankoop door
de eerste eigenaar. De Eminent garantieregeling is van toepassing op alle Eminent
producten en onderdelen onlosmakelijk verbonden met het betreffende product.
Voedingen, batterijen, accu’s, antennes en alle andere producten niet geïntegreerd in
of direct verbonden met het hoofdproduct of producten waarvan redelijkerwijs mag
worden aangenomen dat deze een ander slijtagepatroon kennen dan het
hoofdproduct vallen derhalve niet onder de Eminent garantieregeling. De garantie
vervalt tevens bij onjuist of oneigenlijk gebruik, externe invloeden en/of bij opening van
de behuizing van het betreffende product door partijen anders dan Eminent. Eminent
kan gereviseerde materialen gebruiken bij het herstellen of vervangen van uw defecte
product. Eminent is niet aansprakelijk voor veranderingen in de netwerkinstellingen
door internet providers. Eminent biedt geen garantie voor het niet functioneren van
een netwerkproduct dat veroorzaakt wordt door wijzigingen in de netwerkstructuur
en/of protocollen van een internetaanbieder. Tevens kan Eminent niet aansprakelijk
gesteld worden voor het niet functioneren van web services, apps en andere inhoud
van derden die beschikbaar is via producten van Eminent of Ewent. Producten van
Eminent met een interne vaste schijf hebben een beperkte garantieperiode van twee
jaar op de harde schijf. Eminent is niet aansprakelijk voor gegevensverlies. Zorg er

1.2 Before you start
Unplug the power cord and disconnect all cables connected to the computer before
you begin the installation.
2.0 Installing the hardware
1. Remove all cabling connected to your computer.
2. Remove the computer’s housing.
3. Remove the lid.

4. Find an unused PCI slot (the short, white connector on the mainboard).
5. Insert the card firmly and straightly into the PCI slot.
6. Do not insert the card in the last two PCI slots, as this could result in performance
conflicts.
7. Place the computer’s cover back on.
8. Reconnect the cabling.
9. Start your computer.

1. Insert the CD-rom into the CD-rom drive of your computer.
2. The CD will start automatically
3. Select the right language
4. Click “Next”

The five-year Eminent warranty applies to all Eminent products, unless mentioned
otherwise before or during the moment of purchase. After buying a second-hand
Eminent product the remaining period of warranty is measured from the moment of
purchase by the product’s initial owner. Eminent warranty applies to all Eminent
products and parts, indissolubly connected or mounted to the product it concerns.
Power supply adapters, batteries, antennas and all other products not directly
integrated in or connected to the main product or products of which, without
reasonable doubt, can be assumed that wear and tear during use will show a different
pattern than the main product, are not covered by the Eminent warranty. Products are
not covered by the Eminent warranty when exposed to incorrect/improper use,
external influences or when opening the service parts of the product by parties other
than Eminent. Eminent may use refurbished materials for repair or replacement of
your defective product. Eminent cannot be held responsible for changes in network
settings by internet providers. We cannot guarantee that the Eminent networking
product will keep working when settings are changed by the internet providers.
Eminent cannot guarantee the working of web services, apps and other third party
content that is available through Eminent products. Eminent products with an internal
hard disk have a limited warranty period of two years on the hard disk. Eminent could
not be held responsible for any data lost. Please make sure that if the product stores
data on a hard drive or other memory source, you will make a copy before you return
the product for repair.

1.1 Contenu de la boîte
La boîte devrait contenir les pièces suivantes :
•Adaptateur PCI 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet.
•CD-rom avec logiciels de commande et manuels.

1.2 Avant de commencer
Retirez la fiche de votre ordinateur de la prise de contact et déconnectez tous les
câbles connectés sur votre ordinateur avant de commencer la procédure
d’’installation.
2.0 Procédure d’installation du hardware
1. Dévissez le chassis de votre ordinateur.

2. Enlevez le chassis.
3. Cherchez un slot PCI libre (connexion courte et blanche sur la carte-mère).
Attention ! Utilisez de préférence ni le premier ni le dernier slot PCI ! L’emploi du
premier ou dernier slot PCI peut engendrer des confilts au niveau du hardware !
4. Placez la carte solidement et droit dans le slot PCI libre.
5. Remettez le chassis sur votre ordinateur.
6. Revissez le chassis.
7. Reconnectez tous les câbles qui ont été enlevés sur votre ordinateur.
8. Remettez la fiche de l’ordinateur dans la prise de courant.
9. Redémarrez votre ordinateur.
3.0 Procédure d’installation du logiciel
3.1 Windows 2000/XP
1. Placez le CD-rom dans le lecteur de CD-rom.
2. Le CD-rom démarre automatiquement.
3. Sélectionnez "Français".
4. Cliquez sur "Next".
5. Sélectionnez "EM4028 Windows 2000/XP".
6. Cliquez sur "Next".
7. Suivez les étapes à l'écran jusqu'à ce que l'installation soit achevée.
Si le programme d'installation ne démarre pas automatiquement, vous pouvez
également lancer manuellement le programme d'installation du CD-rom. Cliquez sur
"Start", cliquez sur "Exécuter", tapez "x:\wizard.exe" (dans lequel "x" est la lettre code
de votre lecteur de CD-rom) et appuyez sur "enter".
3.2 Windows Vista/7/8

La garantie d’Eminent de cinq ans s’applique à tous les produits d’Eminent, sauf
mention contraire formulée avant ou au moment de l’achat. Après achat d'un produit
Eminent de seconde main, la période restante de la garantie se calcule à partir de la
date d’achat du produit par le propriétaire d'origine. La garantie Eminent s'applique à
tous les produits et pièces Eminent connectés ou installés sur le produit concerné. Les
adaptateurs d’alimentation secteur, les batteries, les antennes et tous les autres
produits non intégrés directement au produit principal, ou non connectés directement
au même produit, et/ou les produits associés qui sans aucun doute sont soumis à une
usure différente, ne sont pas couverts par la garantie Eminent. Les produits ne sont
pas couverts par la garantie Eminent lorsqu’ils ont été soumis à une mauvaise

autres contenus tiers disponibles via les produits Eminent. Les produits Eminent avec
disque dur interne ont une période de garantie limitée de deux ans sur le disque dur.
