Nehmen Sie mit Ihrer zuständigen Endress+Hauser
Vertriebsfirma oder mit der zuständigen Behörde Kontakt
auf, um möglichst einen Rücknahmeweg im Land zu finden.
Falls die Rücknahme im Land nicht möglich ist, muss die
weitere Vorgehensweise mit der jeweiligen Endress+Hauser
Vertriebsfirma/Vertretung abgestimmt werden.
Der Bestimmungsflughafen für eine Rücksendung ist
Frankfurt, Deutschland.
Bedingungen
Vor der Rücksendung müssen folgende Bedingungen erfüllt
werden:
• Ein Abnahmeprüfzeugnis, das nicht älter als drei Monate
ist und die Dichtigkeit der Strahlenquelle bestätigt, muss
Endress+Hauser vorliegen (Wisch-Test-Zertifikat).
• Seriennummer der Strahlerkapsel, Typ der Strahlenquelle
(60Co oder 137Cs), Original-Aktivität und Bauart der
Strahlenquelle müssen angegeben werden. Diese Daten
finden Sie in den Dokumenten, die zusammen mit der
Strahlenquelle geliefert wurden.
• Die Rücksendung muss in der typgeprüften
Typ-A-Verpackung erfolgen.

Contact your Endress+Hauser Sales Centre or the
appropriate authority to find a way of returning the radiation
source nationally. If return is not possible domestically, the
further procedure must be agreed with the Endress+Hauser
sales centre concerned.
The destination airport for returns is Frankfurt, Germany.
Conditions
The following conditions must be met before returning the
material:
• An inspection certificate no more than three months old
confirming the leak-tightness of the radiation source must
be in the possession of Endress+Hauser (wipe test
certificate).
• The serial number of the source capsule, type of radiation
source (60Co or 137Cs), initial activity and model of the
radiation source must be specified. This data may be found
in the documents supplied with the radiation source.
• The material must be returned in the type-tested
type-A packaging.

Verpackung und Versand
• Beachten Sie die Sicherheitshinweise der Bedienungsanlei-
tung des Strahlenschutzbehälters.
• Drehen Sie den Präparathalter in AUS-Position.
• Sichern Sie die AUS-Position mit dem Schloss des Strahlen-
schutzbehälters.
• Befestigen Sie den Strahlenschutzbehälter fest an der Boden-
platte der Typ A-Verpackung mit den mitgelieferten Schrau-
ben und Muttern (siehe Abb. 1).
• Stülpen Sie die Haube der Typ A-Verpackung über die Boden-
platte und sichern Sie diese fest mit Stahlbändern gemäß Abb. 2.
• Benutzen Sie die Handgriffe nur zum Tragen und Heben des
Packstückes.

• Beschriften Sie das Packstück gemäß geltender IATA-Regeln
und anzuwendender nationaler Vorschriften.
Falls notwendig, führen Sie Kontrollmessungen durch, gemäß
anzuwendender nationaler und internationaler Vorschriften.
• Ziehen Sie im Zweifelsfall Ihre zuständige Behörde oder eine
sachkundige Stelle zu Rate.
Achtung!
Die Typ-A-Beschriftung am Strahlenschutzbehälter selbst, die
für Anlieferung benutzt wurde, ist für die Rücksendung
ungültig.

Packaging and Shipment
• Observe the safety instructions in the operation manual of the
source container.
• Turn the source insert of the source container in OFF
position.
• Secure the OFF position with the lock of the source container.
• Assemble the source container firmly to the base plate of the
Type A package by the means of the provided screws and nuts
(See Fig. 1)
• Put the cover of the Type A package on the base plate and
secure the cover firmly by steel belts according to Fig. 2.
• The handles shall only be used for lifting and carrying of the
package.
• Label the package according to the valid IATA rules and
applicable national regulations.
If required, conduct check measurements according to
applicable national and international regulations.
• In case of doubt, consult your responsible regulator or a
competent consultant.
Note!
The type-A-labelling at the radiation container itself used for
delivery is invalid for the return of the device.
