ISWITCH MULTIBOX OFF LINE
Before installing and using the iSWITCH energy saver, please read these instructions
carefully and keep them for future reference.
GENERAL WARNINGS AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE
To ensure that our product works properly in its installation, please follow
the following rules:
Installation and use of the purchased product must be carried out
in accordance with the technical operating conditions set out in the corresponding
manual.
The customer is responsible for appropriate use of the product.
After receiving the material, please inspect the packaging and the material itself for
any signs of damage. Also check that all items (accessories, documentation, etc.)
have been delivered.
If the packaging has been damaged during transportation or you suspect that it
may have been damaged or could be faulty, the material must not be put into
service. Please contact us if this is the case.
Installation and handling of our products must be carried out by authorised
personnel. In particular, electrical connections must only be carried out by
qualified specialists.
Do not attempt to repair any faulty or damaged material or put it back into service.
It is essential that you contact us in such cases.
No liability will be accepted for any loss or damage caused as a result of improper
use.
Make sure that the cover plate is closed and the securing screw is correctly
positioned before using the equipment.
This appliance is not suitable for outdoor use and should only be used indoors.
Do not remove any cover panels from the appliance; you could be exposed to
dangerous voltage.
Do not expose this unit to rain, damp, extreme temperatures,
dust or any splashing or dripping.
All warranties will be invalidated if you use the system inappropriately or have opened,
altered or repaired it yourself. The distributor will not accept liability for any improper use
of the product or when the product has been used for any purpose other than that
specified. The distributor will not accept any liability for additional loss or damage other
than that covered by the statutory product liability.

Description
The iSWITCH energy saver is an electronic unit which allows you to control and
manage electric power in residential and hotel environments.
It allows the power in a room to be activated after reading or detecting that a card
has been inserted, for as long as the card is left in the unit.
The unit is able to distinguish different types of cards, enabling different elements
of the room to be controlled electronically.
The unit is powered directly from the mains in accordance with its characteristics
and wiring manual.

Each box of energy savers also includes a wiring and start-up manual.

Installation safety information
Read these instructions carefully before installing and starting up the iSWITCH
energy saver.
A diagram has been included to make the connections easier. Any improper
connections shall be the full liability of the installation assembler and will invalidate
any existing warranties. If you have any questions, please contact your nearest
distributor.
1. Please read the installation instructions before installing the
unit in order to avoid any errors.
2. Our products must be installed and handled by authorised personnel. In
particular, the electrical connections must only be carried out by qualified
specialists.
3. Only use your unit with the type of power source shown on the marking
label. If you are not sure of the type of power source your installation has,
check with your electricity company.
4. Disconnect the unit from the supply source before starting any operation
for the maintenance or modification of the installation.
5. Any connection which is not correctly carried out could cause personal
injury and/or irreparable damage to the product.
6. The electrical connection of the appliance must be carried out in
accordance with valid standards and directives and applicable legislation.
7. The electrical installation must include a device which cuts off the power
supply in the event of overcurrents caused by a malfunction in the unit.
8. Once the installation has been completed, the unit must be closed and the
cover plate fitted in order to protect the user from possible electric shocks.

ISWITCH MULTIBOX OFF LINE system’s starting up
CONNECTION & TEST:
1.- Check that the iSWITCH Energy saver is connected according to the
connection diagram.
2.- Power on to the Energy saver.
3.-Check the pilots are green steadily.
4.- Introduce the construction card and check that pilots turn off and that the 2
relays are on.
Remove the construction card and check that the green pilots blink and that the
relays turned off after one minute thus leaving the units with the position pilots on
(green) .
UNIT INITIALIZATION:
5.- Introduce the programming card (created according to the specifications),
check that the green lights turned off.
6.- Remove the card from the energy saver and check that the unit makes a set of
lights (red-green)alternatively, during the set of lights introduce the hotel card, the
unit will turn the lights off and the relays will go on depending on the type of card
introduced.
The card will be initialized with the card’s installation number and the construction
card will no longer work.
In order to configure other parameters in the unit (courtesy time) the special cards
created for that will be used.
NOTE: The construction card used before the energy saver’s starting up will be
useless after the initialization.
NOTE: This starting up process has to be done only the first time that the units are
installed.

In accordance with FCC part 15.105, this equipment has been tested and found
to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the
FCC rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against
harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses
and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in
accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. However, there is no guarantee that the interference will not
occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference
to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment
off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or
more of the following measures:
Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that of the
receiver.
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
In accordance with FCC part 15.19, this device complies with Part 15 of the FCC
Rules and with Industry Canada licence-exempt RSS standards.
Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
(1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and
(2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that
may cause undesired operation.
In accordance with FCC part 15.21, changes or modifications made to this
equipment not expressly approved by party responsible for compliance could void
the user´s authority to operate this equipment.
FCC RF Radiation Exposure Stamen:
This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an
uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with
minimum distance of 20 cm between the radiator and your body. This transmitter
must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or
transmitter.

Industry Canada (IC) Radiation Exposure Statement
This equipment complies with IC radiation exposure limits set forth for an
uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with a
minimum distance of 20 cm between the radiator and your person. This
transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other
antenna or transmitter.
