EN0546 is a device for the control of under and over voltage protection and for the visualization of the output voltage for alternators.
The a ility to select the working voltage (230V three-phase, 230V single phase, 400V three-phase) EN0546 allows a wide range of applications.
The device has 3 LEDs and a utton on the front, two trimmers and a switch on the ack, and finally a trimmer positioned ehind the front
panel.
The operation of the device in case of exceeding the maximum or minimum voltage limits must stop the supply voltage of the generator. This is
usually performed in two ways: y short-circuiting or interrupting the excitation of the alternator through a relay contact.
In the start-up phase, it is necessary to exclude the control dell'EN0546 pressing the utton on the front panel to move from the stopped state of
the machine to a state of rotation.
The device notifies you via the 3-color LED's on the front if the output voltage of the generator is correct.

Operation - overvoltage control
When you turn the LED flash to allow monitoring of their operation.
Press the utton during the startup phase of the generator until the green LED lights up permanently (which indicates that the voltage is within
the cali ration levels). At this point, release the utton; If the voltage is within limits, the state of the outputs is this: NO output 5-6 | 4-5 NC
output.
If the value of the voltage goes eyond the limits of the cali ration set has:
- MIN yellow LED lights when the voltage is lower than the set limit; MAX LED lights red when the voltage is greater than the cali ration set;
- Elapsed trip time T1, the output contact of the relay goes into alarm (5-6 NC output, output 4-5 NO).

Time adjustment of intervention
You can adjust the operating time of the device.
To adjust the tempo of intervention:
- Stop the generator and make sure that the EN0546 is no longer supplied;
- Using a flat screwdriver, remove the front keypad of the device y leveraging on
the ottom edge;
- Act using the screwdriver on the trimmer positioned etween the red LED and
green LED; the adjustment of the intervention time ranges from 0.1 to 10 seconds;
turning the trimmer clockwise, the response time is increased; turning it
counterclockwise, the trip time is decreased.
- Replace the key oard and press gently to close the tool;
- Restart the generator.

Settings
Setting limits calibration
Operate the trimmer on the ack of the instrument. The setting of limits is a
percentage of the value of working voltage (230 or 400V).
The maximum value of the voltage may vary from 0 to 20% of the working
voltage; the minimum value of the voltage varies from 0 to -20% of the working
voltage.
