QuadroCS

Epygi Technologies, Ltd. extends
its product line with the Con-
ference Server QuadroCS, a low
cost, feature rich alternative to
costly conferencing services or
expensive conferencing systems.
The Conference Server unies voice communi-
cations between the PSTN, isolated SIP islands
and commercial IP gateway services provided
by Internet Telephone Service Providers (ITSP).
One Conference Server can be shared across mul-
tiple global workgroups.The unifying value of the
Conference Server accelerates the adoption-cycle
of SIP voice communications allowing disparate
installations to conveniently interconnect in a
QuadroCS conference.
Unifying Voice Communications
It no longer matters that different people have
different set ups. Everyone can reach the QuadroCS.
Also, with its outbound calling capability the
QuadroCS can dial out to anyone using a combi-
nation of IP calls or PSTN calls through an ITSP or
Quadro SIP router.
The QuadroCS has 3 levels of administration and
access with appropriate privileges depending on
the type of user: Network Administrator, Confer-
ence Moderator or Conference Participant.
Using the QuadroCS
is easy. A simple GUI
as well as special
commands available
from the telephone
user interface mod-
erate the confer-
ence.
The user experience
goes far beyond a
simple conference
bridge.
The Conference Server works with all existing
Epygi Technologies products including the “All In
One Box” Quadro2x, 4x or 16x solution and the E1/
T1 gateway. Incorporating a QuadroE1/T1 allows
the QuadroCS to be used in conjunction with ex-
isting PBX systems.
Quadro “All In One Box” solutions connect your oce, the
local PSTN and the Internet into a single voice network.
Phones in the local PSTN connect to the QuadroCS through
any Quadro IP telephony product.
Phones in the local PSTN (analog or digital) also connect
to the QuadroCS through an Internet Telephone Service
Provider (ITSP).
Any phone in the local PSTN may be called from a QuadroCS
through an ITSP or through a Quadro SIP router.
Any SIP phone is call compatible with the QuadroCS.
Legacy PBX’s use an IP gateway such as the Quadro E1/T1
to reach the QuadroCS.

Increasing Productivity
Establish your own personal conference number
and in an instant notify participants by email of
a global conference call. Then talk as long as you
want. The QuadroCS Conference Server allows
voice conferencing of up to 25 participants in one
or more simultaneous call clusters. Everyone can
be reached inbound and outbound. It’s like hav-
ing your own global chat room.
Automatic dial-out to participants - Automatically
connects conference rooms and participants in mul-
tiple locations for regularly scheduled conferences.
Record a conference - Records a conference for a per-
manent record. A USB interface for a memory stick
allows unlimited record keeping.
Password protect conferences - A critical feature in a
security conscious era.
Lecture mode- Enables the moderator to allow only
one person to speak. This feature, popular for ana-
lyst calls and CEO state of the union addresses, is of-
ten found only in much more costly systems.
Participant request to speak feature - In lecture
mode, participants can request to ask questions.
Mute participants- Moderator controls the confer-
ence through the web interface.
Email notication and reminder of scheduled confer-
ences - Automatically generates emails and remind-
er notications.
Lock a conference - Security feature that does not al-
low more participants to join.
Conference Schedule - Automatically schedules a re-
occurring conference.
Cluster geographically dispersed CS units for larger
