Vor dem Gebrauch des RopeFix ist die
Verklebung des Gewindebolzens mit dem
Gehäuse zu überprüfen.

Die Sicherungsmutter
wird ausreichend aufgedreht,
ein Ende des Drahtseiles wird
in die Führung des RopeFix geschoben.
Adequately unscrew the safety nut and

T ritt nach einer übermäßigen Belastung (ab WLL 4-fach)
des RopeFix die Führung über das Gewinde hinaus aus dem Gehäuse aus,
wobei diese Struktur sichtbar ist, ist der RopeFix nicht weiter einsetzbar
und damit ablegereif.
Der RopeFix wechselt auch ohne die zusätzliche (nicht zwingend notwendige)
Verwendung des Überlastmoduls in den Überlastzustand, wenn die Arbeitslast
ausreichend weit überschritten wurde.
When the RopeFix has been overloaded (from 4xWLL) and its guidance exits
beyond the thread from the housing, whereupon this structure is visible, the
RopeFix is no longer applicable. The RopeFix reaches its overload-state at any
rate when the WLL has been exceeded adequately also without the use of the optional
overload-module.

Original-Betriebsanleitung - RopeFix 50 S- Stand: 01.06.2015
Der ERS RopeFix 50 Sdient dazu statische Arbeitslasten von bis zu 90 kg an
Drahtseilen mit dem Durchmesser 5,0mm abzuhängen.
Er ist vorrangig für den Einsatz im Geltungsbereich der BGV C1 konstruiert:
Veranstaltungs- und Produktionsstätten für szenische Darstellung; Messebau; etc.
Für eine sichere Verwendung muß für eine ausreichend feste Ankoppelung am oberen
Befestigungspunkt (Dübel; Haken; etc.; die Verantwortung liegt hierbei beim Anwender) gesorgt werden.
Diese Anbringung sollte von einem Fachmann übernommen werden.
Die Funktionsweise des RopeFix mit einem dafür vorgesehen Drahtseil ist wie folgt:
Die Sicherungsmutter wird ausreichend aufgedreht, ein Ende des Drahtseiles wird in die Führung des RopeFix
geschoben. (siehe Abbildung).
Sie können den RopeFix nun stufenlos nach oben verstellen, er klemmt bei Belastung in jeder Position.
Das Seil muss am Ende des RopeFix weit genug herausragen, so dass es gut sichtbar ist, ca. eine RopeFixlänge.
Nachdem sich der RopeFix an der gewünschten Stelle am Seil befindet, und die individuelle bzw. zertifizierte
Arbeitslast erreicht hat, wird die Sicherungsmutter soweit wie möglich von Hand ( ohne Werkzeug! )
festgeschraubt.
Um den RopeFix an eine andere Stelle am Seil zu verschieben, verfährt man umgekehrt: Den RopFix entlasten,
die Sicherungsmutter weit genug aufdrehen, die Führung eindrücken und den RopeFix an eine andere Position
verschieben.
Verhalten bei Überlast
Wird der RopeFix mit Überlast beaufschlagt, die ab 300kg - 3000N beginnt, wird die Überlastmechanik durch
eine Bewegung der Führung über einen kritischen Bereich hinaus ausgelöst. Damit ist der RopeFix unbrauchbar
geworden und muß ersetzt werden.
EuRope-Systems GmbH erklärt in alleiniger Verantwortung, daß die in dieser Original-Betriebsanleitung
aufgeführten Artikel mit der EG Maschinenrichtlinie (2006/42/EG) übereinstimmen, und daß folgende
Normen zur Anwendung kamen: DIN EN 13411 Teile 5 & 7.
Hinweise für die Benutzung:
Seile und RopeFix (auch die Beschriftung!) dürfen nicht beschädigt sein.
Die Führung des RopeFix muß vor der Verwendung einen spürbaren Gegendruck aufweisen.
Das einzufädelnde Seilende muß verschlossen sein (Verzinnung; Schrumpfschlauch, Verklebung,
thermisch verschlossen), um ein Aufdrehen des Seils zu verhindern.
RopeFix müssen mindestens paarweise eingesetzt werden (§7; BGV C1).
Die Seilablenkung gegenüber der Symmetrieachse der RopeFix darf maximal 5° betragen (siehe
Kennzeichnung auf dem RopeFix)
RopeFix dürfen nicht als Verbindungselemente von Sicherungsseilen eingesetzt werden.
RopeFix dürfen nicht dynamisch belastet werden.
RopeFix sind nicht für die Benutzung im Außenbereich zulässig.
Die Verwendung des RopeFix 50S ist mit folgenden Drahtseilen zulässig:
verzinktes Stahlseil ø5,0mm 6x7 + 1 FE DIN EN 12385-4 min. Festigkeit = 1770 N/mm²
verzinktes Stahlseil ø5,0mm 6x19 + 1 FE DIN EN 12385-4 min. Festigkeit = 1770 N/mm²
Die Mindestfestigkeiten der auf den RopeFix benannten Seile dürfen nicht unterschritten werden.
Wichtig: Bitte bewahren Sie diese Betriebsanleitung für spätere Verwendung an allgemein
zugänglicher Stelle auf.

The ERS RopeFix 50 suspends static loads up to 90 kg on ø5,0mm steel wire ropes.
It was designed for applications which are in compliance with the accident prevention rules described
in “DGUV BGV C1”, such as stage productions; fairs, etc.
A safe connection requires a sufficiently loadable upper attachment point. Make sure this attachment point has
been installed by a trained specialist.
The connection between RopeFix and steel wire rope is always done in an analogous manner :
The end of the wire rope is inserted into the retainer of the RopeFix.
Now the RopeFix can be randomly shifted along the wire rope. As soon as a load is attached, it grips the wire
rope. Make sure the wire rope is inserted into the RopeFix far enough to see it sticking out of the Ropefix on its
other end.
After affixing the RopeFix in the desired position, tighten the safety-nut by hand - when the individual
respectively certified working load has been reached- (don´t use tools!) as far as possible.
To affix the RopeFix to another position on the wire rope, simply reverse the procedure: take the suspended
load off the RopeFix, completely unscrew the safety-nut, press down the retainer. Now the RopeFix can again
be shifted up and down the wire rope.
Remarks and Advice:
wire ropes and RopeFixs may not be damaged including the inscription.
the RopeFixs´ spring-loaded retainer has to have a distinctly spring resistance.
the wire rope end inserted into the RopeFix must be sealed (tinning; heat-shrinkable sleeve).
always use at least 2 RopeFixs for each suspended object.
the wire ropes exit angle from the retainer may not exceed 5°
RopeFixs may not be used as connecting elements on safety ropes.
RopeFixs are not suitable for dynamic loads.
RopeFixs are not permitted for the outdoor area.
Overload
If the RopeFix is exposed to overload, starting from 300kg - 3000N , the overload mechanism is triggered by a
movement of the retainer beyond a critical region. Thus, the RopeFix has become unusable and must be
replaced.

coincide with the EC Machinery Directive (2006/42 / EC), and that the following Standards were applied:

galvanised steel wire rope ø 5.0mm 6x7+1FC, DIN EN 12385-4; rated tensile strength = 1770
N/mm²

N/mm²
The minimum tensile strengths of wire ropes used may not be lower than those inscribed on the RopeFix.
