INTENDED USE
TheClickFitEVOmountingsystemforsolarpanelsonstandingseamroofsisdesignedformountingsolarpanelsonpitched
roofs.Withthismountingsystem,solarpanelscanbepositionedontheroofeitherwiththeshortsideatthebottom
(portrait)orwiththelongsideatthebottom(landscape).
IMPROPER USE
Themountingsystemisnotsuitableforuseontypesofroofotherthantheonespecied.

INSTALLATION
1 PREPARATION
1 INSPECT THE ROOF
Theroofisingoodcondition.
Theroofconstructionhassucientbearingcapacitytosupporttheinstallation,takingintoaccountwindandsnow
loads.
3ThethermaleectofsometypesofEPDMandbitumenroongcanhaveanegativeeectonthewaterproong,
causingitcannotbeguaranteedoneveryroof.ConsulttheroongsuppliertodeterminewhethertheClickFit
EVOhangerboltscanbeusedwithouttakingadditionalsteps.
2 CHECK THE PROJECT PLAN AND COMPONENTS
Checktheprojectplan.Istherenoprojectplan?Thencreateoneintheonlinecalculatorbeforestartinginstallation.
Checkthatallcomponentsarepresent(page5).
Determinethepositionofthehangerbolts.Usethepurlinsortrussesifpresent.

6 DRAW THE LINES AND END POINTS FOR THE MOUNTING RAILS
4Consulttheprojectplantodeterminethepositionofthemountingrailsforyourpanel.
7 MARK THE POSITION OF THE HANGER BOLTS.
3Preferablyuseexistingscrewholesfortheinstallationofthehangerbolts,especiallyoncorrugatedroofs.Ifyouusetoo
manyscrewsinacorrugatedsheetroof,itmeansthattheroofmaterialmayhavetoolittlespacetocompensatefor
thermalexpansion/contraction.
3Whenmeasuringandmarkingtheeld,takeintoaccountthepositionofthepurlinsortrusses.
4Consulttheprojectplantodeterminethepositionofthehangerboltsforyourproject.

4UsethecrosshairsontheadapterforagoodbasicpositionoftheEVOclickconnectionandtocompensateforanyroof
irregularities.

Loosenoneorbothnutshalfaturnandclickthemountingrailintotheclickconnections.Therigidityoftherailensures
thattheadaptersandclickconnectionssetthemselvesintothecorrectposition.Thenretightenthenuts.
