When using electrical appliances, basic precauons should always
follow to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons
including the following:
Read all instrucons before
using this appliance.
1.
This appliance is hot when in
use. To avoid burns, do not let
bare skin touch hot surfaces.
If provided, use handles when
moving this appliance .Keep
combusble material. Such as
furniture, pillows, bedding,
papers, clothes and curtains at
least 3 feet (0.9m) from the
front of this appliance and keep
them away from the sides and
rear.
2.
Extreme cauon is necessary
when any heater is used by or
near children or individuals with
disabilies and whenever the
fireplace is le operang and
unaended.

If possible, always unplug this
appliance when not in use.
4.
Do not operate any heater with
a damaged cord or plug or aer
the heater malfuncons or if
it has been dropped or damaged
in any manner. Disconnect power
at service panel and have heater
inspected by a reputable electrician
before reusing.

Any repairs to this fireplace
should be carried out by a
qualified service person.

Under no circumstances
should this fireplace be
modified. Parts having to
be removed for servicing
must be replaced prior
to operang this fireplace
again.

This heater is not intended
for use in bathrooms, laundry
areas and similar indoor
locaons. Never locate heater
where it may dall into a bathtub
or other water container.

Do not run cord under
carpeng. Do not cover cord
with throw rugs, runners or
simailar covering. Arrange cord
away from traffic areas and
where it will not be tripped over.

To disconnect this appliance,
turn controls to the off posion,
then remove plug from outlet.

temperatures.
DO NOT OPERATE THE HEATER
WITH THE ALARM FLASHING.

See figure 1 for the follow
direcons. This heater is for use
on 120 volts. The cord has a plug
as shown at A. An adapter as
shown at C is available for
connecng three-blade
grounding type plugs to
two-slot receptacles. The green
grounding plug extending from
the adapter must be connected.
To a permanent ground such as a
properly grounded outlet box.
The adapter should not be used
if a three-slot grounded
receptacle is available.

1. No power, logs do not glow. 1a. Check that unit is plugged into a
standard 120 volt outlet.
1b. Press POWER switch several mes,
make sure power is set at “ON” posion.
2a. Open the rear cover, then check for any
broken light bulb or loose light bulb.
2b. Loosen and remove the burnt
out bulb and replace with new bulb.
3a. Open the rear cover, then check if
spinner motor was working. If not,
call customer service.
2. POWER switch light up,
but no flame effect.
3. Logs Glow, flame effect does
not work.
PROBLEM SOLUTION
4. Flame effect operates, but
heater does not blow warm air.

5a. Turn all switches to the “OFF” posion
and unplug the unit from the wall outlet
for 5 minutes. Aer 5 minutes plug the
unit back into wall outlet, and operate as
normal.
4a. Check the HEATER switch is in“ON”
posion. POWER switch should light up.
6. Alarm light flash and
heater funcon does not
work.
6a. The heater is geng excessively hot,
immediately turn the heater off, unplug
the unit and inspect for any and
inspect for any objects on or
adjacent to the heater that may
cause high temperatures.

When choosing a locaon for your
new fireplace, ensure that the
general instrucons are followed.
Also for best effect, install the
fireplace out of direct sunlight.
A 15 AMP, 120 Volt, 60 Hz circuit
with a properly grounded outlet is
required. Preferably, the fireplace
will be on a dedicated circuit as
other appliances on the same circuit
may cause the circuit breaker to trip
or the fuse to blow when the heater
is in operaon. The unit comes
standard with 6 fee (1.8m) three
wire cord , exing from the rear of
the fireplace. Plan the installaon to
avid the use of an extension cord. If
an extension cord must be used, it
must be a minimum 14 AWG; three
wires with grounding type plug
connector and rated not less than
1875 was. The cord shall not be
more than 20 feet (6m) in length.
Keep electrical cord, drapery, furniture
and other combusbles at least 3 feet
(0.9m) from the front of the heater and
away from the sides.
Clean the metal trim using a so
cloth, slightly dampened with citrus
oil based product and buff with a
clean so cloth. DO NOT use brass
polish or household cleaners as these
products will damage the metal trim.
Citrus oil based products can be
obtained at supermarkets or
hardware stores.

When installing this unit against a
non-insulated exterior wall or chase, it is
mandatory that the outer walls be
insulated to conform to applicable
insulaon codes.

The electric fireplaces use one bulb to
make the effect, if the bulb is burnt.
You can replace it.
Turn the POWER switch off, and then UNPLUG
the power cord from the wall outlet.
If fireplace has been operang, Let the unit
cool at least 2 hours.
Unscrew the 6 screw then remove the back
plate (figure 1 and 2)
Pull the bulb fixing spring to loosen the bulb
and rotate the bulb. Then remove the bulb.
Replace the bulb and use the fixing spring to
fixing the bulb.
Screw the back plate and enjoy your fireplace.
NOTE: Light bulb may become loose during shipping. If the flame effect is
dim or does not work, please check that light bulb is finger ght in socket.
See about instrucons for replacing bulb.

TO ACCESS CONTROL PANEL - Control panel can be accessed at upper-right
corner of insert.
POWER – Press this buon for main power and flame effect. The indicator
light will turn on.
HEATER – Press this buom for heat funcon turn on.
WARNING:
During any service of this appliance, the power to the unit must be turned off.
First press the main power switch to off. Then remove the electrical plug from
the wall outlet.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical sensory or mental capabilies, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they’ve been given supervision or instrucon concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
The adult should supervise the children to guarantee they won’t play the
product.
OPERATION BY THE CONTROL PANEL
IMPROTANT: THE HEATER MUST BE PROPERLY INSTALLED BEFORE IT IS USED.

WARNING: During any service of this appliance, the power to the
unit must be turned off. First turn the main power switch to the
“OFF” posion. Then remove the electrical plug from the wall
outlet.
MAINTENANCE
The motors used on the fan and the flame generator assembly are pre-lubricated
for extended bearing life and require no further lubricaon. However, periodic
cleaning / vacuuming of the fan / heater unit is recommended. Make sure the unit
is turned OFF and unplugged and that the heang element of the heater is cool.
Whenever you are cleaning the heater or fireplace.
WARNING: Make sure the power is turned off before
proceeding. Any electrical repairs or rewiring of this unit
should be carried out by a licensed electrician in accordance
with naonal and local codes
If repairing or replacing any electrical component or wiring, the
original wire roung, color coding and securing locaons must
be followed.
WARNING: Electrical outlet wiring must comply with local
building codes and other applicable regulaons to reduce the
risk of fire, electrical shock and injury to persons.
WARNING: Do not use this fireplace if any part of it has been
under water. Immediately call a qualified service technician
to inspect the fireplace and replace any part of the electrical
system.
WARNING: Disconnect power before aempng any
maintenance or cleaning to reduce the risk of fire, electrical
shock or personal injury.

Prokonian Inc. (hereinaer referred to collecvely as the (“Company”)
warrants that your new Prokonian Electric Fireplace is free from
manufacturing and material defects for a period of one year from date of
purchase. Subject to the following condions and limitaons.
This electric fireplace must be installed and operated at all mes in
accordance with the installaon and operang instrucons furnished
with the product. Any unauthorized repair, alteraon, willful abuse,
accident, or misuse of the product shall nullify this warranty.
This warranty is non-transferable, and is made to the original owner,
provided that the purchase was made through an authorized supplier of
the company.
The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of part(s) found to
be defecve in material or workmanship, provided that such part(s) have
been subjected to normal condions of use and service, aer sad defect
is confirmed by the Company’s inspecon.
This warranty does not cover the light bulb included with the Prokonian
Electric Fireplace.
The Company may, at its discreon, fully discharge all obligaons with
respect to this warranty by refunding the wholesale price of the
defecve part(s).
Any installaon, labor construcon, transportaon, or other related
costs/expenses arising from defecve part(s), repair, replacement, or
otherwise of same , will not be covered by this warranty, nor shall the
Company assume responsibility for same.
The owner/user assumes all other risks. If any including the risk of any
direct, indirect or consequenal loss or damage arising out of the use. Or
inability to use the product, except as provided by law.

All other warranes – expressed of implied – with respect to the prod-
uct, its components and accessories, or any obligaons/ liabilies on the
part of the Company are hereby expressly excluded.
The Company neither assumes, nor authorizes any third party to
assume, on its behalf, any other liabilies with respect to the sale of the
Prokonian product.
The warranes as outlined within this document do not apply to non
Prokonian accessories used in conjuncon with the installaon of this
product.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other
rights which vary from state to state.

a. The fireplace is subjected to prolonged periods of dampness or
condensaon.
b. Any unauthorized alteraon, willful abuse, accident, or misuse of the
product.
