PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS
CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE
AND KEEP THEM FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
●WARNING: to avoid any risk of fire, electric shock, or
injury when using an electrical appliance, always follow
the basic safety precautions indicated below.
●This appliance is intended for domestic use only. Any
other (professional) use is prohibited.
●Never use this appliance as a deep fryer.
●Before plugging in your appliance, make sure that your
home power supply voltage matches the information
shown on the rating plate.
●Only connect your appliance to a grounded socket.
●It is recommended that the appliance be connected to a
system with a ground fault interrupter, with a trigger
current no higher than 30 mA.
●This appliance is not intended for use in domestic and
similar applications such as the following:
○staff kitchen areas in stores, offices and other
professional environments;
○farms;

○hotels, motels and other accommodation type
environments;
○bed and breakfast type environments.
●This appliance is not to be used by children aged 0 to 8
years. This appliance may be used by children aged 8
years and up, on condition that they are under adult
supervision at all times. This appliance may be used by
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or a lack of knowledge or experience, on
condition that they have supervision or have received
training in how to use the appliance safely, and have
sufficient understanding of the potential risks involved.
●Keep the appliance and its power cable out of the reach
of children under 8 years of age.
●Children must not play with this appliance.
●Cleaning and maintenance of the appliance must never
be carried out by children.
●Never leave the appliance unattended when it is
plugged in.
●Please switch off and unplug the appliance before
leaving it unattended, and before assembly,
disassembly or cleaning.
●Before using the appliance each time, check that it is in
good general condition.

●Do not use the appliance if:
○there is any damage to the appliance plug or power
cable;
○the appliance is not operating correctly;
○there is any damage to the appliance;
○the appliance has fallen into water;
○the appliance has fallen or been dropped.
●If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by
your dealer, their customer service department or
similarly qualified personnel, to prevent any danger.
●Never place the appliance, power cable or plug in water
or any other liquid.
●Never handle the appliance or the plug with wet hands.
●Never let the power cable hang over the edge of a table
or work surface, and never let it come into contact with
hot surfaces.
●Be careful never to place the appliance on the corner of
a table, to prevent it from tipping over.
●Never use the appliance as a space heater.
●This appliance must always be installed on a flat, stable
surface. Where applicable, the handles should be
positioned to ensure that they will not be splashed by
hot liquids.
●Leave a minimum clearance space of 15 cm around the

appliance when in operation.
●Never place the appliance on top of its power cable.
Never allow the power cable to become twisted or
tangled.
●When unplugging the cable, always grip the plug to
disconnect it. Never pull on the power cable itself.
●If using an extension cable, it must have a built-in earth
connection and must be able to handle the power
requirements of the appliance. Make all provisions to
ensure that nobody can tamper with the appliance.
●Keep this appliance indoors and in a dry place. Do not
operate outdoors.
●Only use the fondue pot supplied with the appliance and
only use it on the heating base for which it was designed.
Do not place the fondue pot in an oven, on a gas ring,
on electric hotplates, etc.
●Keep the appliance away from heat sources such as
radiators to avoid any deformation of the plastic parts.
●Fat can ignite at high temperatures. Never pour water
onto it.
●To put out burning fat or oil:
○In the event of any danger, immediately remove the
plug from the socket.

○Smother the flames with a metal lid, metal container
or fire blanket.
●Avoid sudden movements near the appliance during
operation, which could compromise appliance stability.
●Only use accessories supplied and recommended by
your dealer.
●This appliance is not intended to be operated by means
of an external timer or a separate remote control
system.
●In order to avoid damaging the bowl, never rub forks in
the bottom of the bowl, or cut food directly in the bowl.
Only use utensils made of metal, wood or heat-resistant
plastic.
●Never place aluminum foil or other objects between the
heating base and the fondue pot.
Risk of burns
●WARNING: Never try to move the appliance during use
(e.g. when the fondue pot is full of boiling oil, etc.).
●
WARNING: Accessible surfaces may
become very hot during operation.
●Never touch the metal parts of the appliance when
heating it or using it!
Only touch the handles and the knob.

●We recommend using kitchen potholders to hold the pot
handles during use.
●When you have finished using the appliance, always
turn the thermostat button to the minimum setting and
wait for the appliance to cool down completely before
handling it and cleaning it.
●The level of oil (or other substance) in the bowl must
always be between the “MIN” and “MAX” marks
indicated on the wall of the fondue pot. Never fill higher
than the maximum level, as splashes of oil or grease
could burn you.
●WARNING: Be very careful not to spill anything on the
connector.
●If the appliance is used incorrectly, there is a potential
risk of injury.
●The heating element surface may remain hot for some
time after use.
●To clean surfaces in contact with food, please refer to
the “Cleaning and Care” section at the end of these
instructions.

Disposing of used oil
●Always make sure that oil has cooled down before
disposing of it.
●Pour the oil into a suitable container (e.g. a glass bottle)
and close it tightly to prevent any leakage.
●WARNING: Never dispose of used oil with your
household waste or pour it into your home sanitation
system (toilet, sink). Check with your local authorities to
find out the appropriate method for disposing of the oil.

●Fassen Sie das Gerät oder die Steckdose nicht mit
nassen Händen an.

●Lassen Sie das Netzkabel nicht über die Kante eines
Tisches oder einer Arbeitsfläche hängen und
vermeiden Sie, dass es mit heißen Oberflächen in
Kontakt kommt.
●Achten Sie darauf, dass das Gerät nicht am Tischrand
steht, damit es nicht herunterkippt.
●Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals als zusätzliche
Heizvorrichtung.
●Dieses Gerät muss auf einer ebenen und stabilen
Oberfläche aufgestellt werden. Gegebenenfalls
müssen die Haltegriffe so positioniert werden, dass
keine heißen Flüssigkeiten darauf spritzen.
●Um das Gerät herum sollte während des Betriebs ein
Mindestabstand von 15 cm eingehalten werden.
●Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht auf das Netzkabel. Achten
Sie darauf, dass sich das Kabel nicht verdreht oder
verheddert.
●Ziehen Sie das Kabel immer am Stecker und nicht am
Kabel aus der Steckdose.
●Wenn ein Verlängerungskabel verwendet wird, muss es
mit einer integrierten Erdungsleitung ausgestattet sein
und der Leistung des Geräts standhalten. Treffen Sie
alle Vorkehrungen, damit sich niemand darin verfängt.

●Bewahren Sie dieses Gerät in Innenräumen und an
einem trockenen Ort auf. Verwenden Sie es nicht im
Freien.
●Verwenden Sie nur den mit dem Gerät gelieferten
Fonduetopf und verwenden Sie den Fonduetopf nur auf
der Heizunterlage, für die er entwickelt wurde. Stellen
Sie den Fonduetopf nicht in einen Ofen, auf eine
Gasplatte, auf eine elektrische Kochplatte usw.
●Halten Sie das Gerät von Wärmequellen wie
Heizkörpern fern, um eine Verformung der
Kunststoffteile zu vermeiden.
●Fett kann sich bei hohen Temperaturen entzünden.
Gießen Sie niemals Wasser darauf.
●So löschen Sie einen Fett- oder Ölbrand:
○Ziehen Sie im Gefahrenfall sofort den Netzstecker
aus der Steckdose.
○Ersticken Sie die Flammen mithilfe eines
Metalldeckels, eines Metallbehälters oder einer
Löschdecke.
●Vermeiden Sie plötzliche Bewegungen in der Nähe des
Geräts, während es in Betrieb ist, da dies die
Standfestigkeit beeinträchtigen kann.
●Verwenden Sie nur Zubehör, das von Ihrem Händler
geliefert und empfohlen wird.
