(GB) User instructions and safety hints
Your Reciprocating saw has many features that will make your job faster and easier. It was
designed for cutting wood and metal using saw blade. Safety, performance and
dependability have been given top priority in the design of this tool, make it easy to maintain
and operate.

General safety rules for all power tools
For safe operations:
1) Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas and benches invite injuries.
2) Consider work area environment. Do not expose power tools to rain. Do not use
power tools in damp or wet locations. Keep work area well lit. Do not use power tools
where there is risk to cause fire or explosion.
3) Guard against electric shock. Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces
(e.g. pipes, radiators, ranges, refrigerators).
4) Keep children away. Do not let visitors touch the tool or extension cord. All visitors
should be kept away from area.
5) Store idle tools. When not in use, tools should be stored in a dry, high or locked up
place, out of reach of children.
6) Do not force the tool. It will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was
intended.
7) Use the right tool. Do not force small tools or attachments to do the job of a heavy duty
tool. Do not use tools for purposes not intended; for example, do not use circular saws
to cut tree limbs or logs.
8) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry; they can be caught in moving
parts. Rubber gloves and nonskid footwear are recommended when working outdoors.
Wear protecting hair covering to contain long hair.
9) Use safety glasses. Also use face or dust mask if the cutting operation is dusty.
10) Connect dust extraction equipment. If devices are provided for the connection of dust
extraction and collection facilities ensure these are connected and properly used.
11) Do not abuse the cord. Never carry the tool by the cord or yank it to disconnect it from
the socket. Keep the cord away from heat, oil and sharp edges.
12) Secure work. Use clamps or a vice to hold the work. It is safer than using your hand
and it frees both hands to operate the tool.
13) Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
14) Maintain tool with care. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean for better and safer
performance. Follow instructions for lubrication and changing accessories. Inspect
tool cord periodically and if damaged have it repaired by an authorized service facility.

Inspect extension cords periodically and replace, if damaged. Keep handles dry,
clean and free from owl and grease.
15) Disconnect tools. When not in use, before servicing and when changing accessories
such as blades, bits and cutters.
16) Remove adjusting keys and wrenches. Form the habit of checking to see that keys
and adjusting wrenches are removed from the tool before turning it on.
17) Avoid unintentional starting. Do not carry a plugged- in tool with a finger on the switch.
Ensure switch is off when plugging in.
18) Use outdoor extension leads. When tool is used outdoors, use only extension cords
intended for outdoor use.
19) Stay alert. Watch what you are doing. Use common sense. Do not operate tool when
you are tired.
20) Replace damaged cords immediately. Use of damaged cords can shock, burn or
electrocute.
21) Check damaged parts. Before further use of the tool, a guard or other part that is
damaged should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and
perform its intended function. Check for alignment of moving parts, free running of
moving parts, breakage of parts, mounting and any other conditions that may affect its
operation. A guard or other part that is damaged should be properly repaired or
replaced by an authorized service center unless otherwise indicated in this instruction
manual. Have defective switches replaced by an authorized service facility. Do not
use the tool if the switch does not turn it on and off.
22) Warning! The use of any accessory or attachment, other than those recommended in
this instruction manual, may present a risk of personal injury.
23) Have your tool repaired by a qualified person. This electric tool in accordance with the
relevant safety requirements. Repairs should only be carried out by qualified persons
using original spare parts; otherwise this may result in considerable danger to the
user.
Specific safety rules for reciprocating saws
1) Hold tool by insulated gripping surfaces when performing an operation where the

cutting tool may contact hidden wiring or its own cord. Contact with a “live” wire will
make exposed metal parts of the tool “live” and shock the operator.
2) Check that the switch is “off” before plugging the tool in. Accidental starting could
cause injury.
3) Secure material before cutting. Never hold it in your hand or across legs. Small or thin
material may flex or vibrate with the blade, causing loss of control.
4) Never touch the saw blade after immediate use. It may be hot after prolonged use.
5) Keep hands away from cutting area. Do not reach under the material being cut.
6) Do not use dull or damaged saw blades and accessories.
7) Always pull out the mains plug before changing saw blade and /or adjusting the saw
base.
8) The saw blade must be locked in its mount absolutely. Check if it is securely seated.

Attaching the saw blade
1) Pull out the mains plug. Use the wrench supplied
with the tool to loosen holding screw on the saw
blade holder.
2) Insert saw blade of suitable type into the slot to
the stop so that the back is securely seated in the
slot. Retighten the holding screws. See Fig. 2.

Adjusting the fence
Use the wrench to loosen holding screws on the
fence holder. Move in or move out the fence to a
fitting position so that the length of blade outside
the fence can be adjusted. See Fig. 3.

Switch operation
1) To turn tool on, press the switch trigger
inward and it can be locked in the ON
position by pressing the lock-on button. To
turn tool off, press the trigger again.
2) The speed can be adjusted by the
speed-adjusting knob. It can be adjusted
continuously from 1 to 6 setting.

Before cleaning or performing any maintenance, power supply shall be disconnected from
tool. Compressed dry air blow may be the most effective cleaning method. Always wear
safety goggles when cleaning tools with compressed air.
Ventilation openings and switch must be kept clean. Do not attempt to clean by inserting
pointed objects through openings.
No chemical agent is allowed to be used in cleaning the power tool.

Store temperaturforskjeller kan lede til kondens på strømførende deler. Vent til
maskinen har fått romtemperatur før bruk.
Bruk maskin og tilbehør kun til det den er kontruert for.
Sett fast arbeidstykket. Bruk skrustikke, tvinge eller lignende

Ikke bruk smykke eller klesplagg som kan hekte seg fast. Beskytt langt hår med
hårnett eller pannebånd. Bruk arbeidshansker.
Bruk maske og briller ved kapping av materialer som splintrer og/eller lager støv.
Bruk hørselvern.
Beskytt el-verktøyet mot regn og fukt.
Ved arbeid utendør må kun godkjente kabler og utstyr brukes.
Må aldri brukes i rom med eksplosjonsfare.
Reparasjoner må utføres av fagpersonell.
OBS: Bruk aldri el-verktøy etter inntak av alkohol, sykdom, trøtthet, feber eller
lignende!
Hold el-verktøy utilgjengelig for barn.
Når el-verktøyet ikke brukes, ved pauser, bytte av tilbehør osv skal kontakten tas ut.
Bruk aldri verktøy på nettkabelen. Ikke dra i ledningen for å få kontakten ut av
støpselet.
Unngå at motoren stanser ved belastning.
Hold orden! Rot skaper ulykker!!
Unngå utilsiktet oppstart av el-verktøyet.
Ikke la nøkler eller annet innstillingsverktøy sitte på ved oppstart.
Sikkerhetsanvisninger ved håndering av tigersag
yVed arbeid nære strømførende ledninger er det viktig å holde sagen i det isolerte
håndtaket for å unngå støt.
yKontroller at strømbryteren er slått av før nettkontakten settes i. Utilsiktet start av
sagen kan forårsake ulykker.
yLås fast arbeidsstykket før arbeidet begynner. Hold aldri arbeidsstykket med kun
hendene.
yIkke rør sagbladet direkte etter arbeidets slutt. Bladet blir ekstremt varmt etter
langvarig bruk.
yBruk alltid vernebriller, hørselvern og støvmaske under bruk av sagen.
yHold aldri hendene på undersiden av arbeidsstykket under arbeidets gang.

yIkke bruk skjeve eller utslitte sagblad.
yDra alltid ut nettkontakten før bytte av sagblad skjer.
yKontroller at sagbladet sitter fast ordentlig før arbeidet starter.

Montering av sagblad
1) Dra ut nettkontakten. Bruk
sekskantnøkkelen for å skru løs låseskruene til
sagbladet.
2) Sett inn passende sagblad, og skru til
låseskruene.

Justering av støtteplate
Bruk sekskantnøkkelen til å skru løs låseskruen til
støtteplaten. Juster støtteplaten til ønsket
plassering beroende på hvor langt sagbladet skal
stikke ut bak støtteplaten og skru til.

På- og avslåing
1) Trykk inn strømbryteren for å starte sagen,
for å ha permament drift – trykk inn
låseknappen.
For å slå av maskinen trykkes strømbryteren inn
igjen.
2) Hastigheten på sagen kan justeres trinnløst
fra trinn 1 til 6. Se bilde 4.

Vedlikehold
Dra ut netkontakten før justeringer, service eller vedlikehold utføres på maskinen.
Rengjøring
Dra ut nettkontakten før rengjøring starter. Det er best å rengjøre sagen ved hjelp av
trykkluft. Bruk alltid vernebrillerved regjøring med trykklyft.
Ventilasjonshullene på sagen må alltid holdes rene og åpen. Ikke bruk spisse objekt slik at
maskinen skades innvendig.
Rengjør maskinen med en fuktig klut – ikke bruk rengjøringsmiddel. Tørk maskinen godt
etterpå.
