1.ImportantPoints
1.1.Theunitmustbeplacedonaflatandstablesurfaceorsecurelyattachedusingthe4holes
ofthemountingplate(seeparagraph3.1.),awayfromanyheatsourceandallintensemagnetic
fields.

1.2.Neverswitchontheunitwhiletheembeddinginstructionsarenotcarefullyredand
followed(seeparagraph4).

1.3.Neverdisassembletheopticalmoduleorthepowersupplymodule.

1.4.NevertouchtheLEDorthereflectorwithfingers.

1.5.Warning:ThissourceisaAClass.Inaresidentialenvironment,thisproductmaycause
radiointerferences.Inthiscase,itmaybeaskedtheusertotaketheappropriatedactionsto
reducethesepotentialinterferences.

1.6.Cleaning:Theexternalpartsofthegeneratorcanbecleanedwithanon‐corrosive
conventionalcleaningproduct(nospray)inusingasoftcloth.Cleaningshouldbedonewiththe
lightsourceoffandnotundertakenbeforecompletecooling.
Beforeundertakinganymanipulationorcommissioningthedevice,itis
highlyimportanttonotethefollowingpoints:
 TheLEDIL2050lightsourceshavebeendevelopedto
meettheapplicationsusingopticlightguides,includingthe
museumandarchitecturelightings.
 Idealtoreplacefilamentlightsources,thisrangeoflight
sourcesisusinghighintensityLED'swithacolor
temperaturefrom3000to6500°K,overmountedbya
specificopticalreflectortoobtainaslightlydiverginglight
beam.
 ThelightintensityfromtheLEDisfactoryadjustable
from10Wto21W,theemittedintensityiscomparabletoa
halogenbulblightsourcegreaterthan100W.
 TheLEDIL2050lightsourcesareequippedwitha30mm
diameterfiberopticadapter(effectiveopticaldiameter
25mmmax).


2.Warranty

EUROSEPInstrumentswarrantsthefullsystemforaperiodof12monthsfromthedateof
delivery,whenusedstrictlyinaccordancewiththeattacheddirectivesofuse.
Thiswarrantyisstrictlylimitedtorepairingorreplacingofthedamagedproduct.Toenjoyfull
warranty,thepurchasercommitshimselftojustifyhisdemandbyawrittenrequest.Also,he
hastogivetoEUROSEPInstrumentsallhissupportinordertonoticeandrepairthedamages.
Heshouldavoidtorepairtheunitbyhimselforbysomebodyelseunlesshegotawritten
agreementfromEUROSEPInstruments.
Thiswarrantyisvoidunderthefollowingcircumstances:
‐Proximate,incidental,orconsequentialdamages,
‐Negligence,lackofsupervisionormaintenance,
‐Useoftheequipmentinnonconformitywiththedirectivesforuse,
‐Replacingandrepairingduetoafairwear.
Ourwarrantyisstrictlylimitedtotherepairortheexchangeofthesystemrecognizedas
defectivebyourtechnicalstaff.
Priortocommissioning,itisessentialtoreadthe"ImportantPoints"describedinparagraph1.


Thesurfacesofboththeoptical andofthepowersupplymodules should
becomehotduringoperation.Beforeundertakinganymanipulation,wait
fortheircompletecooling.

4.Operation

4.1.SwitchingontheSystem
TheIL2050LEDlightsourcesarefullyreadytobeused.Simplyconnecttheblueandbrown
powerwirestothemainvoltagebetween100‐240V(50‐60Hz).
Ifthedeviceispermanentlyconnected,itisadvisabletosetupaswitchoracircuitbreakerto
switchon/offthesystem.
Embedding:Thesurfacesofthesystem(exceptthemountingplate)shallbelocatedatleast5
cmawayfromanywalltoallowappropriatedcooling.Incasethesedistancescouldnotbemet,
itwillbenecessarytosetupaforcedaircoolingsystem.

4.2.HarnessImplementation
Insertthefiberharnessinfrontofandfixitbytighteningthescrewontop.Theouterdiameter
shouldbe30mm.Theeffectiveopticaldiameteris25mmmaximum.

4.3.Lightintensityadjustment
Aninternalpotentiometerlocatedonthetopofthepowersupplymoduleallowsthelight
intensityadjustmentfrom60%to100%.Frommanufacturing,thelightinsensityisadjustedat
itsmaximum.
Settingprocedure:
Removethesmallcapontherightpartofthepower
supplymodule,
InusingaPhilipsscrewdriver,turnthepotentiometer
toadjustlightoutput(counterclockwisetodecrease
theintensity),
Removethescrewdriverandreplacethecap.
