WARNING! Read all safety instructions listed here before using this appliance.
Children. Keep young children away from this appliance. Do not allow them to
play with the appliance.
Always fully uncoil any supply cord.
Do not place any item on top of the appliance.
Do not cover the appliance with any object or cloth.
Do not allow water or other liquids to be spilt onto the appliance.
Do not place any object into any opening on the appliance.
Do not use near flammable material or combustible gas.
A damaged supply cord must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or a suitably qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
Do use wet hands or operate in wet environments.
This appliance shall be installed in accordance with national wiring
regulations.
CAUTION! Always leave sufficient gaps around this appliance. A minimum of
50 cm at rear, 50 cm at top and 50 cm each side is recommended as a
minimum.
CAUTION! Do not place the appliance on an uneven surface. This may create
a hazard risk should the appliance tip over and also may cause the appliance
to make excessive noise and or cause water leakage.
CAUTION! Keep the appliance away from any heat source. Do not leave in
direct sunlight.
Always keep the appliance in a vertical position. Do not lay appliance on its
side or upside down.
WARNING! Do not use this appliance within confined spaces. When on heat
mode keep a minimum of 50 cm from any combustible surface. Keep curtains
away from the rear of the appliance as they may be drawn into the intake
vents.
The supply cord must be connected to an earthed 220-240V ~AC 50Hz power
supply socket.
This appliance is for indoor use only.
Do not attempt to service this appliance yourself. Return to a suitably qualified
person for service.

COMPONENT DESCRIPTION__________________________________
OPERATION _____________________________________________
WARNING! Before first use always allow the appliance to stand in a vertical
position for 2 hours before use if the appliance has been on its side.
Place the appliance in a suitable position on a level even surface away from
other objects and combustible material (refer to safety instructions).
Keep away from direct sunlight and other heat sources.
Connect to a suitable 10 amp 220-240V ~ AC Earthed power supply outlet.
Ensure that the supply cord is fully unwound before use. A wound supply cord
may overheat. Do not overload the circuit. It is recommended that this
appliance be used on a circuit of its own.
Ensure the water tank is placed correctly into the appliance. Note - If on first
use the “TANK FULL” lamp is on, remove the water tank and reinstall it.
Switch the power supply on to appliance.
POWER. Press “POWER” button. Operation will commence.
HUMIDITY SETTING. A setting of “60%RH” is recommended. This can be
altered by pressing the up / down buttons located on control panel (range
30% to 90%).

FAN SPEED. The fan speed can be altered by pressing the “FAN SPEED”
button located on the control panel. Automatic setting is LOW.
MODE. Display can be changed to show current temperature or humidity
reading.
HEATING. In heating mode hot air will be blown through air vents. Select heat
mode by pressing the “HEATING” pad on control board.
NOTE! Heating functions only in temperatures below 25°C
BUCKET FULL. When the water tank is full the appliance will stop and the
“BUCKET FULL” lamp will glow. Switch power off. Remove water tank and
carefully dispose of the water. Replace water tank and switch power on.
DEFROST. When in cold temperatures the appliance may freeze up and the
“DEFROST” lamp illuminate. Switch power off and wait for temperature to
rise. Note. Dehumidifiers do not work correctly in temperatures below 5°C and
above 35°C.
TIMER. The timer may be set to operate the appliance after a preset waiting
time or for a period of predetermined time. To set the appliance to commence
at a later time, in standby mode press TIMER, then using the UP/DOWN
buttons choose the desired time delay. Te set the appliance to stop after a set
time, switch on as normal, when appliance is functioning select TIMER and
set the amount of hours that the appliance will operate for before switching off
automatically.
AIR FRESHENER. Optional “Air Freshener”. A tray is located under air outlet
flap for placement of air freshener (liquid only) if desired.
WATER TANK______________ _______________________________
The water tank must be correctly installed for the appliance to operate.
To remove simply slide out as shown in Pic1 below.

CONTINUOUS DRAINAGE _______________________________
The appliance can be set to drain water continuously, thus eliminating the
need to empty the water tank.
To set continuous drainage remove the rear drainage cover (located on rear
of appliance) by turning anti clockwise.
Remove the rubber bung that covers the internal drain hole (keep both in a
safe place for latter use).
Connect a suitable length of 13mm (internal diameter) hose to the rear drain
connector, ensuring that the highest point of the hose leaving the appliance
and point of discharge is always below this drainage point. WARNING!
Failure to follow this instruction may result in incorrect drainage
resulting in water damage or damage to the appliance through incorrect
drainage.
WARNING!
Ensure drain hose is LOWER than the exit point of appliance at all times.
Ensure that hose is protected from damage or accidental removal.

MAINTENANCE ___________________________________________
Ensure the appliance is switched OFF from the power supply.
Wipe the outer shell with a damp soft cloth and dry with a dry towel.
If necessary use a small amount of detergent on the cloth to remove stubborn
dirt marks.
Do not immerse appliance, spray with liquid or other material.
Avoid harsh cleaners, solvents or similar cleaning material as they will
damage the outer case.
AIR FILTERS ___________________________________________
The air filters located on the rear of the unit collect dust contained in the air.
DO NOT operate appliance without the filters in place.
Clean the filter every two weeks to maintain efficiency of the appliance. Any
build-up of dust will effect the appliance operation.
Wipe with a soft brush or use a vacuum cleaner to clean the filters. DO NOT
wash in hot soapy water.
STORAGE__________________________________________________
If storing this appliance for any period please follow the following guidelines.
Remove any water from the water tank.
Disconnect from power supply.
Store in an upright position.

This product is guaranteed against faulty materials and workmanship for a period of twenty-four
months from the date of purchase. The obligation to the purchaser under this warranty is limited to
servicing the unit and replacing defective parts when the product is returned freight prepaid to the
retailer. This warranty becomes void if the product has been tampered with, damaged by accident,
damaged in any other way by improper use or has been purchased second hand. All production orders
have quality inspections. In the unlikely event of a deficiency, please contact the retailer from whom
this product was purchased
