Safety Warnings
To avoid any damage, please consider the following safety warnings:
Never place the device near to heaters, furnaces, other heat sources or under direct solar irradiation.
Operate the device only in locations providing the tolerable operating temperature range -20°C ~ 70°C
/ -4°F ~ 158°F.
Make sure that the device‘s ventilation slots are not covered or sheeted.
For cleaning, make sure the device is plugged off and only use a damp cloth without acid detergent. Do
NOT use cleaning fluids based on alcohol, methylated spirit, or ammonia. The glass plate has a hard
surface coating to prevent scratches. However, the use of strong chemical cleaning agents may
damage this coating. Use only a mild soap or detergent and water or specially formulated cleaners
made for cleaning glass panels.
Install the device only in dry and dustproof surroundings. Protect the device against any liquid‘s
penetration.
Avoid the penetration of any artefacts, e.g. through ventilation slots.
In case of malfunction, contact your local installer or dealer. Unauthorized opening of the device will
annul the warranty claim!

1. Introduction
The EX784B 7”TFT-LCD monitor is designed for vehicle use, which can withstand temperature between
-20°C ~ 70°C / -4°F ~ 158°F. The model can be installed in the vehicle with a bracket.

5. OSD Setup Menu
You can use the buttons on the front panel to control and set up the OSD Settings of the monitor.

You can press the “MENU”button to:
1. Enter the OSD Setup Menu.
2. Select among the sub-menu.
3. Confirm setting.

You can press the “+”button to:
1. Select among the main-menu (Picture, Option, System, Preset).
2. On the main-menu, press the button to the very right to close the OSD Setup Menu.
3. Adjust the value of the sub-menu.

You can press the “-”button to:
1. Select among the main-menu (Picture, Option, System, Preset)..
2. On the main-menu, press the button to the very left to close the OSD Setup Menu.
3. Adjust the value of the sub-menu.
For example, if you want to set up the ZOOM (display ratio) function:
1. Press the “MENU”button to enter the OSD Setup Menu.
2. Press the “+”button to select the Option menu.
3. Press the “MENU”button to select the ZOOM function. The ZOOM function will be highlighted in red
with a finger mark on the left-side.
4. Press the “+”or “-”button to select between 16:9 or 4:3.
5. Press the “MENU”button to confirm the selection.
To go to the main-menu from the sub-menu:
Press the “MENU”button to the very end until all the sub-menu wordings display all white, and then you
can press the “+”or “-”button to select among the main-menu.
To manually close the OSD Setup Menu:
On the main-menu, press the “+”button to the very right or press the “-”button to the very left to close
the OSD Setup Menu.

Brightness: Adjust the brightness value (0~100).
Contrast: Adjust the contrast value (0~100).
Color: Adjust the color value (0~100).
Reset: Press “Reset”to reset all the settings on this page to default
value.

Language: Select a language.
Flip/Mirror: Press the button to flip or mirror the screen view.
Ratio: Select a display ratio between 16:9 and 4:3.
V1V2-3S: This function is currently reserved as the system only
supports one video source at preset. Turn on or turn off the
sequence function (3 sec. dwell time). The system will switch
between AV1 and AV2 continuously.
BC2-AV1: This function is currently reserved. Turn on or turn off the
parking mode. The system will switch from AV1 to rear camera when
reversing vehicle.
Auto DIM: Turn on or turn off the auto dimming function.

The functions in the System menu are designed for Vehicle
Reversing. Functions in the System menu are currently reserved.
SYS Format: Switch among Auto, PAL or NTSC for the connected
camera.
Parking Lines: Turn on or turn off the parking lines when reversing.
ACC1-Time: Adjust the reversing alarm dwell time (0~10 sec.).
ACC2-Time: Adjust the reversing alarm dwell time (0~10 sec.).
5.4 Sleep
S l e e p
SLEEP 0
Sleep: Set up a monitor sleep mode time (min.) for the monitor to
automatically turn off when the time is up. To turn on the monitor,
press the “Power”button. To disable the monitor sleep mode
function, select “0”. Note that this function is one-time activation.
After activating the function, the monitor will automatically set up
the value to “0”, which means, no monitor sleep mode.

6. Panel Backlights Dim
You can connect the Panel Backlight Control cable to you head light. When head lights on, the panel
backlight will dim for comfortable night view experiences.
