INSTALLING BATTERIES
Your Wooden World Series of
Poker Shuffler requires 4 AA batter-
ies. Be sure to review “Battery
Information” on page 4. To install
batteries, carefully turn Wooden
World Series of Poker™Shuffler over
so that the curved side is face-down
on a soft surface, such as a towel or
magazine. You’ll find the battery
compartment on the unit’s back.
Use a small Phillips screw driver to
remove the screw. Lift off the battery
compartment lid. Install 4 AA batter-
ies, making sure to match the polarity
(+ and -) with the diagram inside the
battery compartment. Place the bat-
tery door tabs in their slots and snap
the compartment door back on.
Replace the screw and gently tighten
it.
SHUFFLING CARDS
Your Wooden World Series of
Poker Shuffler can automatically
shuffle up to two full decks of stan-
dard-size playing cards. Just divide
the deck or decks into roughly equal
halves and place each half onto a
SHUFFLE SHELF at the top of the
Wooden World Series of Poker™
Shuffler. (Please see “Wooden WSOP
Shuffler Layout,” below, left.)
Press and hold the SHUFFLE
BUTTON at the bottom, middle of
the unit. All the cards are shuffled into
the CARD RETURN TRAY, which
can be pulled out to retrieve the deck
easily.
Feed the cards through Wooden
World Series of Poker Shuffler two to
three times for a thorough, profes-
sional shuffling.

HISTORY OF WORLD SERIES OF POKER
From a fledgling, high-stakes
poker marathon with just two
players in the summer of 1949,
the idea of an ultimate World
Champion of Poker has grown
into a cultural phenomenon
involving 2,576 players in the
2004 World
Series of Poker No-Limit
Texas Hold `Em Championship
at the famous Horseshoe®Casino
in Las Vegas. The whole world
watched on TV as the winner
scooped up the final pot of more
than $25,000,000 in chips and
walked away with the
$5,000,000 prize fund and the
world title.
Now you can play the most
popular casino games in the
world any time, under the official
World Series of Poker license!
