Important Safety Information
WARNING!
Before using this unit or starting any exercise program, consult your physician. This is
especially important for persons over the age of 35 and/or persons with pre-existing health
problems. The manufacturer or distributor assumes no responsibility for personal injury or
property damage sustained by or through the use of this product.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND TIPS
1. It is the owner's responsibility to ensure that all users of this unit have read the Owner's
Manual and are familiar with warnings and safety precautions.
2. This unit has a user maximum capacity of 100 kg.
3. The unit should only be used on a level surface and is intended for indoor use only. The
unit should not be placed in a garage, patio, or near water and should never be used
while you are wet. We recommend a mat be placed under the unit to protect floor or
carpet and for easier cleaning.
4. Wear comfortable, good-quality walking or running shoes and appropriate clothing. Do
not wear sandals, socks or stockings.
5. Always examine your unit before using to ensure all parts are in working order.
6. Allow the unit to fully stop before dismounting.
7. Pets should never be allowed near the unit.
8. Do not leave children unsupervised near or on the unit.
9. Never operate the unit where oxygen is being administered, or where aerosol products
are being used.
10. Neverinsert any object or body parts into any opening.
11. For safety and to prevent damage to your unit, no more than one person should use the
unit at a time.
12. Service to your unit shouldonly be performed by an authorized service representative,
unless authorized and/or instructed by the manufacturer.
13. Failure to follow these instructions will void the unit warranty.

Before You Start
Thank you for purchasing this new EXCEED TREADMILL! This quality product you have chosen
was designed to meet your needs for cardiovascular exercise. Before you start, please read the
Owner's Manual and become familiar with the operation of your new unit.
Remember to take the time to perform the stretching exercises provided to avoid injury.
If you are taking medication, consult your physician to see if the medication will affect your
exercise heart rate. If you have heart problems, you are not active, and/or are over the age of
35 years, do not start an exercise program without first contacting and receiving approval from
your physician.
To avoid the risk of electrical shock, always keep the console dry. Do not spill liquids on the
console. We recommend a sealed water bottle for beverages consumed while using the unit

USING THE METER DESCRIPTION
POWER ON ●Pedal movement or push the MODE bu on.
POWER OFF ●Automa c shut offa er four minutes of inac ty.
MODE BUTTON ●Press to select display func ons, include SCAN, TIME, SPEED, DISTANCE, CALORIES and
HEART RATE.
●Press and hold for three seconds to reset all func s to zero.
FUNCTIONS DESCRIPTION
SCAN ●Autom cally scans each n to e, speed, distance, calories, and heart rate in
sequence with change every four seconds. Press and release the MODE bu on un l
SCAN appears on the display.
TIME ●Display the me for one second up to 99:59 minutes.
SPEED ●Display the current speed from zero to 999.9 KM per hour.
DISTANCE ●Display the distance from zero to 99.99 KM.
CALORIES ●Display the calories consum n from zero to 999.9 kcal.
●The calories readout is an es mate for an average user. It should be used only as a
comparison between workouts on this unit.
HEART RATE ●Display your heart rate in beats per minute. To display heart rate, select the heart rate
mode and grasp the pulse sensors on the handlebars, one in each hand. The heart
symbol will begin flashing when the meter senses your heart rate. Your heart rate will be
displayed approximately five seconds r the heart icon is displayed. If you do not
place your hands correctly and 60 seconds passes without a heart rate reading, the
meter will turn offthe heart rate circuit. If this occurs, press the MODE bu on to restart,
place your hands back on the pulse sensors correctly, and the heart rate readout will
appear.
Ba eries Installa on:
1. Dismount the meter from the meter.
2. Open the b ry door on the back of the meter.
3. The meter operates with 2pcs AA ba eries.
Note:
Do not mix a new ba ery with an old ba ery.
Use the same type of ba ery. Do not mix an alkaline
ba ery with another type of ba ery.
Rechargeable ba eries are not recommended.

Please read and retain this manual as it will assist with identification for parts and service.
LIMITED WARRANTY
EXCEED warrants its TREADMILL T228 to be free from defects in material and workship under normal
use and service conditions for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase of this article.
Evidence of unfair usage or incorrect adjustment by the owner will void this promise.
All warranty coverage extends only to the original retail purchaser from the date of purchase.
EXCEED obligation under this Warranty is limited to replacing or repairing the product, at the discretion
of our authorised service centre. Any enquiries relating to warranties or spare parts must first be directed
to our Freecall 1800 465 070 who will then assist you in the appropriate action to be taken. For efficient
processing of your enquiry please have proof of purchase, retailer name you purchased the item from
and the brand on the product.
This warranty does not extend to any damage to a product caused by abuse, improper or abnormal
usage, or repairs not provided by EXCEED. Nor does this warranty extend to products used for commer-
cial or rental purposes.This warranty does not cover ordinary wear, tear and weathering, failure to follow
directions, improper installation, improper maintenance or acts of God (such as damage caused by
storms, lightning and by snow or ice). No other Warranty beyond that specifically set forth above is
authorised by EXCEED.
Our sales and service centre has been set up to provide assembly assistance, replacement parts and
accessories, and to efficiently handle all warranty related matters.
