PAIRING YOUR DEVICE VIA BLUETOOTH®
(REQUIRED FOR OPERATION):
1. Ensure your streaming device has Bluetooth® enabled and
that power is applied to the EXMC1. (The red LED indicates the
EXMC1 is powered on and the blue LED will blink blue to indicate
it is in pairing mode.)
2. Within your streaming device’s Bluetooth® setup menu, select
“EXILE-BT2” from the list of pairable devices. No Pin Code is
required.
3. When successfully connected, the Blue LED on the EXMC1 will
stop blinking and remain lit. Once a device is paired then each
time the device is seen by the EXMC1 it will automatically
reconnect to that device. If no devices are present the EXMC1
automatically goes into pairing mode and will present itself as
discoverable for the next device present.
LIMITED WARRANTY
Exile warrants this product to be free from defects in material and
workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from date of
original purchase when purchased from an Authorized Exile Dealer. If the
product is labeled B Stock/Refurbished and purchased from an Authorized
Exile Dealer, it is warranted for 90 days from date of purchase, regardless
of place of installation. Should service be necessary under this warranty for
any reason due to manufacturing defect or malfunction during the warranty
period, Exile will replace or repair (at its discretion) the defective merchandise
with equivalent merchandise at no charge. Warranty replacements on
B-Stock merchandise may have cosmetic scratches and blemishes.
Discontinued products may be replaced with more current equivalent
products. This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is not
extended to owners of the product subsequent to the original purchaser.
Any applicable implied warranties are limited in duration to a period of the
express warranty as provided herein beginning with the date of the original
purchase at retail, and no warranties, whether express or implied, shall apply
to this product thereafter. Some states do not allow limitations on implied
warranties, therefore these exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty
gives you specic legal rights; however you may have other rights that vary
from state to state. This warranty is only valid within the USA, for warranties
outside of the USA consult the appropriate international distributor.
The Bluetooth®word mark and logos are owned by the
Bluetooth SIG, Inc. and any use of such marks by Exile Audio is
under license.

CONNECTION DIAGRAM
FLUSH MOUNT INSTRUCTIONS
1. Drill a 1 1/8” (30mm) diameter hole.
2. Unscrew the locking nut from the
back of the device and remove one
of the rubber gaskets.
3. Slide the device through the hole
and reattach the rubber gasket
and locking nut. Orientation can be
adjusted simply by loosening the
locking nut and rotating the device.

REMOTE IN CONNECTION
Connect the Blue, with white stripe, wire (Remote in) to the remote wire from
a head unit or other device that controls ON/OFF for the system. When the
EXMC1 is used in this method the ON/OFF button is bypassed and will not
function. The unit will be turned ON/OFF via the head unit or other controller.
REMOTE OUT CONNECTION
Connect the Blue wire (Remote out) to an amplier remote in to turn the
amplier ON/OFF via the EXMC1. When you press the Power/Aux button for
3 seconds the EXMC1 will turn ON or OFF and also power the amplier ON or
OFF.
Note: When using the Remote in connection the Remote out feature goes into
pass through mode. If an amplier is connected to the remote out wire it will
turn ON/OFF via the Remote in connection
TURNING THE EXMC1 ON/OFF
1. Connect the red wire (Power +12v Constant) and black wire
(Ground -12v) to power and ground securely.
2. Press and hold the Power/Aux button for 3 seconds until you see
the Red LED indicator on the front of the unit light up (ON)
or turn o (OFF).
AUX INPUT / OUTPUT
• Connect Aux input with any media player using a standard
3.5mm stereo jack.
• Double tap the Power/Aux Button rapidly to switch between the
Bluetooth® source and the AUX input source. When the EXMC1
is switched to the AUX input the yellow LED on the front of the
device stays on.
