Technologysystemisanonboardintelligenceplatformtohelpincreasefuelefciency.Itenablescommunication
andresponsebetweenkeysystemsonthemower.TheselectableoperatingmodesonREDequippedmowers
enableoperatorstomatchpowertospecicmowingconditions.EfcientModeofferspeakperformancepower
withreducedfuelconsumption,emissions,noise,andoverallwearonthemachine.MaxModeprovides
increasedpowerforoperatingindemandingconditions.LowModeenablesoptimaloperationinwetconditions

Whenthealarmsounds,theerrormessagewill
displayandtheLEDwillturnred.
•Afastchirpsoundindicatescriticalerrors.
•Aslowchirpingsoundindicateslesscriticalerrors,
suchasrequiredmaintenanceorserviceintervals.

9.AutoIdleDownMode
Iftheoperatorleavestheseatandthesafety
interlocksallowtheenginetoremainrunning,the
systemwillentertheautoidlemodeandautomatically
settheenginespeedtothelowtransportspeed.
Whentheoperatorreturnstotheseat,thesystemwill
automaticallyreturntothepreviouslyselectedengine
speedmodeIftheoperatorselectsanotherengine
speedsetting,thesystemwillexittheautoidlemode
andtheenginewillrunattheselectedspeed.
10.ErrorMessages
Ifanerroroccurs,amessagewilldisplayinplaceof
theenginetemperature,enginerpm,andfuellevel.In
additiontodisplayingthefaultastext,thesystemwill
turntheLEDredandsoundtheaudiblealarm.

and/ordisengagetheclutchwhichallowsthe
machinetobedrivenontoatrailerorreturnedtoa
servicearea.
Thereareveerrors:
1.ClutchOvercurrent
Ifanovercurrenteventoccurs,thesystem
willlimittheenginespeedtothedefault
EfcientTransportModespeedandplace
themachinein“SafeTransportMode”.Safe
TransportModelimitstheenginespeed,
locksoutthePTO,anddisengagesthe
clutch;a“ClutchOvercurrent”errormessage
willdisplay.Cyclingthekeyswitchto“OFF”
andthentothe“ON”positionwillclearthe
fault.
2.SystemOvervoltage>16VDC
Ifthevoltageexceeds16volts,thesystem
willdisengagetheclutchanddisplay
a“SystemOvervoltage>16VDC”error
message.
3.SystemUndervoltage<9VDC
Ifthevoltageislessthan9volts,the
systemwillnotallowclutchengagement
andwilldisplaytheerror“System
Undervoltage<9VDC”.Iftheclutchwas
engagedbeforetheerroroccurred,the
systemwillallowtheclutchtoremain
engaged;however,lowvoltagemaycause
theclutchtodisengageitself.
4.LowOilPressure
Iflowengineoilpressureisdetected,the
systemwilllimitenginespeedtothedefault
EfcientTransportModespeedandplace
themachinein“SafeTransportMode”.Safe
TransportModelimitstheenginespeed,
locksoutthePTO,anddisengagesthe
clutch;a“LowOilPressure”messagewill
display.Cyclingthekeyswitchto“OFF”and
thentothe“ON”positionwillclearthefault.
5.EngineOverTemperature
Whentheenginebeginstooverheat,the
systemwillashtheenginetemperaturebar
graphandchirptheaudiblealarm.Ifthe
temperaturerisesabovetheupperlimit,the
systemwillrestricttheenginespeedtothe
defaultEfcientTransportModespeedand
placethemachinein“SafeTransportMode”.
SafeTransportModelimitstheengine
speed,locksoutthePTO,anddisengages
theclutch;an“EngineOverTemperature”
messagewilldisplay.Thefaultwillclear
oncethetemperaturefallsbelowasafelimit.
