WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN
Lesen Sie aufmerksam die Bedienungsanleitung,
bevor Sie Ihr Gerät benutzen, und befolgen Sie
immer die Sicherheitsvorschriften und die
Gebrauchsanweisung.
Wichtig: Das Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren
und von Personen mit einer körperlichen,
sensorischen, geistigen oder motorischen
Behinderung oder einem Mangel an Erfahrung und
Kenntnissen verwendet werden, sofern diese
Personen beaufsichtigt oder über den sicheren
Gebrauch des Geräts unterrichtet wurden und die
damit verbundenen Gefahren verstanden haben.
Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht
durch Kinder durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie
sind älter als 8 Jahre und beaufsichtigt. Lassen Sie
Ihr Gerät und sein Netzkabel nie unbeaufsichtigt
und in Reichweite von Kindern jünger als 8 Jahre
oder unverantwortlichen Personen, besonders
wenn es an der Steckdose hängt oder wenn es
abkühlt.
Kontrollieren Sie, ob die Netzspannung mit der
auf dem Gerät vermerkten Spannung
übereinstimmt, bevor Sie das Gerät benutzen.
Lassen Sie Ihr Gerät niemals beim Gebrauch

Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig, dass das Gerät nicht
beschädigt ist. Bei Beschädigung der
Anschlussleitung oder des Gerätes, letzteres
nicht benutzen, sondern von einem
Elektrofachmann(*) überprüfen bzw. reparieren
lassen. Eine beschädigte Anschlussleitung muss
von einem Elektrofachmann(*) ausgewechselt
werden, damit jede Gefahr gemieden wird.
Dieser Haartrockner ist ausschließlich zum
Trocknen und Frisieren von menschlichem
Naturhaar konzipiert. Kunsthaar darf mit dem
Haartrockner nicht behandelt werden. Der
Haartrockner ist für den Privatgebrauch
konzipiert. Für die gewerbliche Nutzung, z.B. in
Frisiersalons oder Schönheitsstudios, ist er nicht
geeignet. Verwenden Sie den Haartrockner nur
wie in dieser Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben.
Jede andere Verwendung gilt als nicht
bestimmungsgemäß und kann zu Sachschäden
oder sogar zu Personenschäden führen. Der
Haartrockner ist kein Kinderspielzeug. Der
Hersteller oder Händler übernimmt keine Haftung
für Schäden, die durch nicht
bestimmungsgemäßen oder falschen Gebrauch
entstanden sind.
Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder
andere Flüssigkeiten, weder zum Reinigen, noch
zu einem anderen Zweck. Geben Sie das Gerät

niemals in die Spülmaschine. Sonst kann das
Gerät beschädigt werden.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe einer
Wärmequelle.
Entfernen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose,
bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen um Elektroschocks
zu vermeiden.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien und
bewahren Sie es an einem trockenen Platz auf.
Als zusätzlicher Schutz wird die Installation einer
Fehlerstrom-Schutzeinrichtung (RCD) mit einem
Bemessungsauslösestrom von nicht mehr als 30
mA im Badezimmerstromkreis empfohlen.
Fragen Sie Ihren Installateur um Rat.
Benutzen Sie nur Zubehör, welches vom
Lieferanten empfohlen wurde. Anderes Zubehör
stellt eine Gefahr für den Benutzer dar und das
Gerät könnte dadurch beschädigt werden.
Ziehen Sie niemals an der Anschlussleitung, um
das Gerät zu bewegen. Achten Sie darauf, dass
nicht zufälligerweise die Anschlussleitung
irgendwo hängen bleibt und dies zum Fall des
Gerätes führen könnte. Wickeln Sie die
Anschlussleitung nicht um das Gerät oder
knicken Sie sie nicht.
Achten Sie darauf, dass keine Wasserspritzer
auf das Gerät kommen und benutzen Sie Ihr
Gerät nicht in der Badewanne, unter der Dusche
oder im Allgemeinen wenn Sie in Kontakt mit

Wasser sind, oder sich in der Nähe eines mit
Wasser gefüllten Waschbeckens oder Behälters
befinden. Sollte Ihr Gerät trotzdem ins Wasser
fallen:
- ziehen Sie dann sofort den Stecker aus der
Steckdose
- halten Sie nicht Ihre Hand ins Wasser
- lassen Sie Ihr Gerät von einem Elektro-
Fachmann prüfen(*), bevor Sie es erneut
benutzen.
Wenn der Haartrockner in einem Badezimmer
verwendet wird, ist nach Gebrauch der Stecker
zu ziehen, da die Nähe von Wasser eine Gefahr
darstellt, auch wenn der Haartrockner
ausgeschaltet ist.
Überprüfen Sie, ob Ihr Gerät nicht nass ist
(Spritzwasser…) und benutzen Sie es nicht mit
nassen Händen um Elektroschocks zu
vermeiden.
Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, wenn
Ihr Gerät nicht benutzt wird oder falls Sie es kurz
hinlegen.
Das Gitter an der Luftaustrittsöffnung wird bei
Gebrauch sofort warm. Achten Sie darauf, dass
die Anschlussleitung nicht mit dem Gitter in
Kontakt kommt.
Die Luftein- und -austrittsöffnungen dürfen nicht
verstopft sein. Falls der Luftstrom dennoch
behindert wird, springt die eingebaute

Abschaltautomatik sofort an. Warten Sie dann
einige Minuten bis das Gerät abgekühlt ist, bevor
Sie es erneut benutzen.
Das Sicherheitsgitter an der Lufteintrittsöffnung
verhindert, dass Haare angesaugt werden. Wenn
Sie nach einiger Zeit bemerken, dass sich Staub
am Gitter absetzt, dann reinigen Sie es bitte.
Entfernen Sie den Staub nicht, dann nimmt der
Luftstrom ab, wodurch das Gerät beschädigt
wird.
Vermeiden Sie jeglichen Kontakt Ihres Haares
mit den direkten Rändern der Lufteintrittsöffnung.
(*) Elektrofachmann: anerkannter Kundendienst des
Lieferanten oder des Importeurs, der für derartige
Reparaturen zuständig ist. Für eventuelle
Reparaturen wenden Sie sich bitte an diesen
Kundendienst (www.ggv-service.de).
BITTE BEACHTEN SIE FOLGENDES
Die Heizspirale ist von einer Schutzschicht umgeben. Beim ersten Gebrauch kann durchaus
Rauch entstehen, wenn die Schutzschicht erwärmt wird. Dies stellt jedoch keine Gefahr dar für
den Benutzer und weist auch nicht auf einen Defekt am Gerät hin. Nach ca. 30 Sekunden
entsteht kein Rauch mehr und Sie können das Gerät ungehindert weiter benutzen.
GEBRAUCH DES 'STYLE' HAARTROCKNERS
Luftstromschalter Temperaturwähler Kaltlufttaste
0 = AUS I = mäßig EIN = kalt
= Schwach II = warm AUS = warm
= Stark III = heiß
Um die gewünschte Luftstromstärke zu wählen, oder um das Gerät auszuschalten, drücken Sie
den Schalter in die gewünschte Stellung. Gehen Sie auf dieselbe Weise vor um die Temperatur
zu wählen. Um die Kaltluftfunktion anzuschalten, stellen Sie die Luftstromstärke auf 1 oder 2, und
halten Sie die Kaltlufttaste gedrückt.

OHNE STYLINGDÜSE: Wenn Sie Ihre Haare einfach trocknen wollen, ohne "Styling", machen Sie
Hin-und-her-Bewegungen oder kreisförmige Bewegungen über den feuchten Zonen, aber
bleiben Sie nicht zu lange an derselben Stelle, so dass Sie sich nicht verbrennen. Sie können mit
Hilfe der Hände oder mit einem Kamm die Haare aufheben um überall gleichmäßig zu
trocknen. Die Wahl der Luftstromstärke hängt von der Empfindlichkeit und von der Dicke und
der Länge des Haares ab. Wenn Sie Ihre Haare nachher noch frisieren möchten, dann
empfiehlt es sich, die Haare ein bisschen feucht zu halten.
Um Ihre Haare zu frisieren können Sie auch wie oben beschrieben vorgehen, und gleichzeitig
kämmen, damit kein widerborstiges Haar entsteht.
MIT STYLINGDÜSE: Stülpen Sie die Stylingdüse einfach auf, und trocknen Sie Ihre Haare. Mit der
Stylingdüse können Sie den Luftstrom genau richten auf die Zone, die Sie trocknen wollen. Mit
einem kleinen Luftstrom können Sie Ihr Haar mit Hilfe einer Bürste oder eines Kammes frisieren.
Die Stylingdüse ist insbesondere für feines Haar geeignet, um mehr Volumen zu bewirken.
Richten Sie den Luftstrom daher direkt gegen den Haaransatz.
BEI GEBRAUCH: Ab und zu die verdrehte Anschlussleitung gerade ziehen, damit sie sich nicht zu
sehr verfängt.
KALTLUFTFUNKTION: Diese Funktion lockert die Haare, so dass Sie sie dann besser frisieren
können und um ihnen mehr Volumen zu besorgen. Die kalte Luft versteift ebenfalls die Frisur.
PFLEGE: Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen.
Achten Sie vor jedem Gebrauch darauf, dass die Luftansaugöffnung und der Luftauslass frei
sind. Um das Gitter zu reinigen verwenden Sie am besten einen Staubsauger, oder einen
scharfen Gegenstand, mit dem Sie die Löcher reinigen können. Achten Sie aber darauf, dass
Sie den scharfen Gegenstand nicht zu weit ins Gerät drücken, weil dies die inneren Teile des
Gerätes beschädigen könnte.
Die äußeren Teile des Gerätes können Sie mit einem feuchten Tuch reinigen, aber achten Sie
darauf, dass das Gerät völlig trocken ist, bevor Sie es erneut verwenden.
AUFBEWAHRUNG
Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen, und räumen Sie es
weg. Wickeln Sie die Anschlussleitung nicht um das Gerät. Verwenden Sie die Anschlussleitung
nicht um das Gerät aufzuhängen, sondern verwenden Sie die Aufhängeöse. Ziehen Sie die
verdrehte Anschlussleitung vor und nach jedem Gebrauch gerade.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Please read these instructions carefully before
using the appliance, and always follow the safety
and operating instructions.
Important: This appliance can be used by children
over 8 years old and people with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capacities or with a lack of
experience or knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instructions concerning the safe use
of the appliance and the risks involved. Children
shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless
they are older than 8 years and supervised. Never
leave the appliance and its cord unsupervised and
within reach of children less than 8 years old or
irresponsible persons, especially when it is plugged
into the wall or when it is cooling down.
Check that your mains voltage corresponds to
that stated on the appliance.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in
use.
From time to time check the appliance for
damages. Never use the appliance if cord or

This hairdryer has been designed exclusively to
dry and dress natural human hair. Artificial hair
should not be treated with the hairdryer. The
hairdryer has been designed for private use. It is
not suitable for commercial use, e.g. in
hairdressing salons or beauty salons. Only use
the hairdryer in the way indicated in these
instructions. Any other use is considered as
improper and can lead to property damage or
even personal injury. The hairdryer is not a
child’s toy. The manufacturer or distributor will
not assume any responsibility for damage
resulting from inappropriate or wrong use.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any
other liquid for any reason whatsoever. Never
place it into the dishwasher. Otherwise the
appliance may be damaged.
Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance
from the power supply to avoid electric shocks.
Never use the appliance outside and always
place it in a dry environment.
To ensure a major security, it is recommended to
set up a current flight jump of 30 mA in the
electric circuit that supplies the bathroom. Ask
your electrician for advice.

Never use accessories that are not
recommended by the producer. They could
constitute a danger to the user and risk to
damage the appliance.
Never move the appliance by pulling the cord.
Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any
way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance
and do not bend it.
Never expose the appliance to possible water
splashes and never use the appliance in bath,
shower or more generally when you are in
contact with water or near a sink or other
receptacle filled with water! However, should the
appliance happen to fall into the water:
- immediately unplug it
- do not put your hands into the water
- make sure your appliance is verified by a
competent qualified electrician(*) before
using it again.
When using the hairdryer in the bathroom,
always unplug it when not in use as the proximity
of water could constitute a danger even when the
hairdryer is switched off.
Always make sure your appliance is not wet
(water splashes…) and never handle it with wet
hands to avoid electric shocks.
Unplug the appliance when not in use or even if
you put it down only for a moment.

Inevitably the air intake grille becomes hot when
using the appliance. Make sure the cord does not
come into contact with the air intake grille when
using the appliance.
The air intake and outgoing openings must never
be blocked. However, should the air ventilation
get blocked, the safety device will stop the
appliance immediately. The latter will restart
when it has cooled down. You will have to wait a
couple of minutes.
The safety grille in the air intake opening prevents
the hairs from being sucked in. If you notice after
some time that the grille gets blocked by dust, you
have to clean it. If you don't clean it, the air flux will
progressively decrease and the appliance might
get damaged.
Make sure the hair does not come into direct
contact with the air intake opening.
(*) Competent qualified electrician: after-sales
department of the producer or importer or any
person who is qualified, approved and competent to
perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all
danger. In case of need you should return the
appliance to this electrician (www.ggv-service.de).
SPECIAL ATTENTION
Your new appliance is designed with a protective coating around the heating coils. When
plugged in and operating for the first time, there may be a little momentary smoking while this
coating is initially heated. This presents no danger to the user and does not indicate a defect in
the unit. When using for the first time, allow the appliance to continue running until the smoke
dissipates. This should last only about 30 seconds.

HOW TO USE YOUR STYLING DRYER

To select the desired speed setting or to switch off the appliance, push the button on the
handle. Do the same to select the desired temperature. To select the cool shot function, put
the speed selector to the setting 1 or 2 and keep the cool shot button pressed.
WITHOUT CONCENTRATOR NOZZLE: If you want to dry your hair without styling it, make back and
forth or circular movements above the humid areas, but make sure you do not insist too long
on the same area in order not to get burned. You can use your hands or a comb to raise your
hair in order to dry equally everywhere. The choice of the speed setting depends on your
sensitivity and the thickness and length of your hair. If you want to style your hair afterwards, it is
advisable not to dry your hair totally.
You can also dry your hair as described above, but combing it at the same time to avoid tufts.
WITH CONCENTRATOR NOZZLE: The concentrator nozzle attaches easily onto the barrel of your
dryer and allows you to direct the airflow on a small section of hair at a time as you style and
shape the hair with a vent brush or comb. You can also build body and fullness into fine, thin
hair by directing the airflow against the natural growth of the hair.
WHILE USING: Untwist the cord from time to time to avoid tangling.
COOL SHOT FUNCTION: Use this function to make your hair more flexible and shape it as you
want. This function will strengthen the shape you gave to your hair when styling it.
CLEANING AND CARE: Unplug the appliance and let it cool down. Make sure the air inlet and
outlet grilles are free. To clean the grilles, use a vacuum cleaner or a sharp object to unblock
the holes. Make sure you do not insert the sharp object too far in the appliance, as it might
damage the appliance and even catch fire.
You can clean the housing of the appliance with a soft damp cloth. Make sure the appliance
is completely dry before using it again.
STORAGE: Unplug the appliance, allow it to cool, and store it in its box or in a dry place. Never
store it while it is hot or still plugged in. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance.
Never hang the unit by the cord - use the hanging ring provided. Disentangle the cord before
and after use.
PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT –DIRECTIVE 2012/19/EU
In order to preserve our environment and protect human health, the waste electrical and
electronic equipment should be disposed of in accordance with specific rules with the
implication of both suppliers and users. For this reason, as indicated by the symbol on the
rating label or on the packaging, your appliance should not be disposed of as unsorted
municipal waste. The user has the right to bring it to a municipal collection point performing
waste recovery by means of reuse, recycling or use for other applications in accordance with
the directive.

We, GGV Handelsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG, hereby confirm that our product meets the
requirements of regulation 1275/2008/EC. Admittedly, our product does not dispose of a
function to minimize the power consumption, which should according to regulation
1275/2008/EC put the product in off or standby mode after finishing the main function, but this
is practically impossible, as it would compromise the main function of the product so strongly,
that using the product would no longer be possible!
For this reason we always tell the customer in our instruction manual to unplug the appliance
immediately after use.

appliance in its original packaging together with the receipt. Claims under guarantee will only

In case of a defective accessory, the complete appliance will not be exchanged, but only the

only order the accessory! In case of glass damages, glass spare parts will be charged.
Pieces undergoing wear and tear as well as cleaning and maintenance or the exchange of
worn out pieces are not covered by the guarantee and will thus be charged!
AFTER THE LEGAL PERIOD OF GUARANTEE
Repairs after the guarantee period can be performed at a charge by a competent qualified
technician or a repair service.

Vérifiez régulièrement l’état de votre appareil et s’il
est endommagé de quelque façon que ce soit, ne
l'utilisez pas mais faites-le vérifier et réparer par un
service qualifié compétent(*). Si le câble est
endommagé, il doit être obligatoirement remplacé
par un service qualifié compétent(*) afin d’éviter
tout danger.
Ce sèche-cheveux est conçu uniquement pour
sécher et coiffer des cheveux naturels humains.
Les cheveux artificiels ne peuvent pas être traités
avec le sèche-cheveux. Le sèche-cheveux est
conçu pour l‘usage privé. Il n’est pas approprié
pour l’usage commercial, par exemple dans des
salons de coiffure ou des salons de beauté.
Utilisez le sèche-cheveux uniquement de la
manière indiquée dans la notice. Toute utilisation
sortant de ce cadre sera réputée non conforme
et peut causer des dégâts matériels ou même
des dommages corporels. Le sèche-cheveux
n’est pas un jouet. Le fabricant ou le distributeur
n’accepte aucune responsabilité pour dommages
résultant d’une utilisation inappropriée, abusive
ou impropre.
Ne plongez jamais votre appareil dans l'eau ou
dans tout autre liquide ni pour son nettoyage ni
pour toute autre raison. Ne le mettez jamais au
lave-vaisselle. Sinon l’appareil pourrait être
endommagé.

L’appareil doit obligatoirement être débranché et
totalement refroidi lors de son nettoyage afin
d’éviter des chocs électriques.
Veillez à ne pas utiliser l'appareil à l'extérieur et
entreposez-le dans un endroit sec une fois qu’il est
totalement refroidi.
Ne pas utiliser des accessoires non recommandés
par le fabricant, cela peut présenter un danger pour
l’utilisateur et risque d’endommager l’appareil.
Ne déplacez jamais l’appareil en tirant sur son
cordon d’alimentation. Veillez à ce que le cordon
d’alimentation ne puisse être accidentellement
accroché et ce, afin d’éviter toute chute de
l’appareil.
Pour assurer une protection complémentaire, il est
conseillé d’installer dans le circuit électrique
alimentant la salle de bain, un dispositif à courant
différentiel résiduel (DDR) de courant différentiel de
fonctionnement assigné n’excédant pas 30 mA.
Votre appareil ne doit jamais être soumis à des
projections d'eau et ne doit surtout pas être utilisé
dans une baignoire, sous une douche ou plus
généralement lorsque vous êtes en contact avec
de l'eau ou que vous vous situez à proximité d'un
point d'eau ou d'un récipient contenant de l'eau. Si
toutefois votre appareil tombe dans l’eau:
- retirez immédiatement la fiche de la prise de
courant.

- ne mettez surtout pas votre main dans
l’eau.
- faites vérifier votre appareil par un service
qualifié compétent(*) avant de le réutiliser.
Lorsque le sèche-cheveux est utilisé dans la salle
de bain, débranchez-le après usage car la
proximité de l'eau peut présenter un danger même
lorsque le sèche-cheveux est arrêté.
Assurez-vous toujours que votre appareil n’est
pas mouillé (éclaboussures d’eau…) et ne
l’utilisez pas si vos mains sont mouillées afin
d’éviter des chocs électriques.
Débranchez toujours votre appareil lorsqu’il n’est
pas en utilisation même si vous le posez pour
peu de temps.
Les ouvertures d’arrivée et de sortie d’air ne
doivent jamais être obstruées. Si toutefois cela
se produisait, un dispositif de sécurité arrête
automatiquement l’appareil. Ce dernier se
remettra en route lorsqu’il aura refroidi après
quelques minutes d’arrêt.
La grille d’entrée d’air située à l’arrière de
l’appareil empêche les cheveux d’être aspirés.
Après quelque temps, si vous constatez que des
poussières ou d’autres particules obstruent la
grille, il faut la nettoyer. Si vous n’effectuez pas
de nettoyage, le flux d’air va progressivement
diminuer, ce qui peut endommager l’appareil.

ATTENTION
Lors de la première utilisation de la fumée peut se dégager. Ceci ne constitue aucun danger
pour l'utilisateur et n'est pas du tout un signe de défaut de l'appareil. Après environ 30
secondes la fumée cessera. Si ceci se prolongeait, faites appel au service après-vente le plus
proche de votre domicile pour une vérification.
UTILISATION DE VOTRE SECHE-CHEVEUX 'STYLE'

Pour vous placer sur la vitesse désirée ou pour arrêter votre appareil, appuyez sur les
interrupteurs le long de la poignée. Procédez de la même façon pour sélectionner la
température. La fonction air froid est actionnée en vous plaçant sur la vitesse 1 ou la vitesse 2,
puis en maintenant le bouton d'air froid enfoncé.
SANS CONCENTRATEUR: Si vous souhaitez sécher vos cheveux sans effectuer de mise en forme,
effectuez des mouvements de va-et-vient ou des mouvements circulaires sur les zones humides
mais surtout n’insistez pas trop longtemps sur un endroit précis car vous risqueriez de vous
brûler. Vous pouvez vous aider de la main ou d’un peigne afin de soulever les cheveux et d’en
sécher simultanément le dessus et le dessous. Le choix de la vitesse et de la température
dépend à la fois de la sensibilité de chacun mais aussi de l’épaisseur ou de la longueur des
cheveux. Il est recommandé pour ce type de séchage de conserver une certaine humidité sur
les cheveux si l’on veut ensuite les coiffer pour les mettre en forme.
Vous pouvez aussi procéder de la façon décrite précédemment mais en coiffant les cheveux
simultanément afin d’éviter les épis et les cheveux emmêlés.
AVEC CONCENTRATEUR: Fixez simplement votre concentrateur sur le bout de votre sèche-
cheveux. Cet accessoire permet d’orienter le flux d’air chaud directement sur la zone à sécher
ou à coiffer afin d’en augmenter son efficacité. Par exemple, lorsque vous faites un brushing,
roulez les cheveux sur la brosse et séchez-les en utilisant le concentrateur de façon à conserver
soit les boucles soit l’ondulation selon le choix. Vous pouvez vous placer sur la position 1 ou 2
avec cet accessoire.
