The Eyezone AV USB 2.0 PRO is a compact size USB 2.0 capture box allows you to
bring it to anywhere with your notebook. The Eyezone AV USB 2.0 PRO is the best solution to
digitalize your memories. Thru the high speed USB 2.0 interface, you can easily capture picture
and directly real-time record video and audio to DivX file format from videotape, DVD, VCD
or V8 thru Video, S-Video input. The Eyezone AV USB 2.0 PRO makes you to digitize your
home video easily.

External USB 2.0 real-time video capture box.
Video and audio recording by USB 2.0 interface.

The Eyezone AV USB 2.0 PRO has passed Microsoft's WHQL and Windows DTM
(VISTA) certification.

Bundled CyberLink PowerDirector Software

6.1 Install the Microsoft DirectX 9
Microsoft DirectX 9 must be installed on your operating system, install Microsoft DirectX 9
from Driver CD first. (If you already have Microsoft DirectX 9 installed, it’s not necessary.)
6.2 Install the Driver
Windows XP
Step 1: Plug the EyezoneAV USB 2.0 PRO into the USB port of PC, then the following dialog
“Found New Hardware Wizard” will appear. Select “No, not this time”, and click the “Next”
button.
Step 2: Select “Install from a list or specific location [Advanced]”, then click the “Next” button.
Step 3: Select “Included this location in the search” and click “Browse” button to choose your CD
ROM and select the BDA32 or BDA64 folder. Click “Next” to install..
NOTE: If your system type of PC is 32bits, select the BDA32 folder to install.
If your system type of PC is 64bits, select the BDA64 folder to install.

Step 4:Click the “Finish” button to finish and close the dialog.
Step 5:Check the “Device Manager”, if the device driver has been install correctly, there should be
a “AV USB 2.0 PRO” display under “Sound, video and game controllers”.
Windows Vista
Step 1:Plug the Eyezone AV USB 2.0 PRO into the USB port of PC, then the following dialog
“Found New Hardware” will appear. Please click “Locate and install driver software
(recommended)”.

Step 2:Click “Don’t search online”, then click “I don’t have the disc. Show me other option.”
and click “Next”.
Step 3:Click “Browse my computer for driver software (advanced)”, then click “Browser” to
choose your CD ROM and select the BDA32 or BDA64 folder. Click “Next” to install.
NOTE:If your system type of PC is 32bits, please select the BDA32 folder to install.
If your system type of PC is 64bits, please select the BDA64 folder to install.
Step 4:Click “Close” to close the dialog box, then check the “Device Manager”, if the device
driver has been install correctly, there should be a “AV USB 2.0 PRO” display under “Sound, video
and game controllers”.
6.3 Install the CyberLink PowerDirector
Insert the CD provided into the CD ROM driver on your PC, then click (Setup) and follow the
on screen instructions to install the CyberLink PowerDirector on your PC.

NOTE:Confirm you have successfully connected your video device to the Eyezone AV USB 2.0
PRO, and the Eyezone AV USB 2.0 PRO has already connected to USB port of PC.
Step 1:Click the icon on your desktop to launch the CyberLink PowerDirector.
Step 2:The first time you run the PowerDirector, the “Activation” dialog box will appear. Enter the
CD-key, then click “Next”. (You CD-Key can be found on the CD cover.)
Step 3:After the PowerDirector is launched, click the “Capture” button to enter the capture mode,
and the PowerDirector will detect the Eyezone AV USB 2.0 PRO automatically and the video from
your video device will be displayed in the preview window. (If the Eyezone AV USB 2.0 PRO don’t
be detected, please refer to 6.1)
7.1 Capture Limit Options
You can set limits on the size or duration of video that PowerDirector captures. When the limit you
set is reached, capture automatically stops.

7.2 Profile Options
Click the “Profile” to open the Profile Setup dialog box. You can set the format and quality of the
capture video here.
7.3 Snapshot Function
Click <Edit> → <Preferences>, then the Preferences dialog box will appear.
- Click “Browse” of Export directory to change the destination folder.
-Click tochangethesnapshot file format (BMP/ JPG/ GIF).
Click the button, to capture the current images, then enter a name in the dialog box that
appears. The image you have captured appear in the Captured Clips area.
7.4 Capture Function
Click <Edit> → <Preferences>, then the Preferences dialog box will appear. Please click
“Browse” of Export directory to change the destination folder.
Click to begin capture, and click to stop capture.
Enter a name in the dialog box that appears. The clips you have captured appear in the
Captured Clips area.

Situation Check Point
No Video Picture 1. Connect and disconnect the cables, then try again
2. Make sure all the cables are connected correctly.
The message appears-
“High Speed
device plugged
into Full Speed
USB Port….”
1. Make sure your system features USB 2.0 support.
2. Ensure the EyezoneAV USB 2.0 PRO is plugged into a
USB 2.0 port.
3. Make sure the operating system, the EyezoneAV USB
2.0 PRO only supports Windows XP/ Vista.
Important NOTE
1. Make sure the driver for the EyezoneAV USB 2.0 PRO
has been properly installed (refer to 6.2).
