Before you start, please check you
have the following items ready

Connect one end of the supplied
phone cable into the modem ADSL
port and the other end into the
ADSL port on the line filter

You can connect a phone if required to the
phone port of the line flter and then plug
the line filter into your phone wall socket
he ADSL LED on the front will flicker for several
seconds and then light up steadily.
All phones in use will require a line filter
Connecting the

Screw in the modem antenna and plug in the
router to the mains power with the supplied
power adapter.

Connect the blue ethernet cable in to one of
the 4 Ethernet ports on the modem and the
other end into your computers Ethernet port.

Connect to 10.1.1.1
The server 10.1.1.1 at DSL - 604T Admin requires a
username and password.
Warning: This sever is requesting that our username
and password be sent in an insecure (basic authentication
without a secure connection).

The hardware setup
Youre now ready to configure the modem
settings Complete the following steps
(a-h) starting below:

Connect to settings

Enter the username admin
and the password admin.
( his password is for access to the modem
configuration process and can be changed
at a later stage of this set up process
to your own preference)

modem
Open your web browser
http://10.1.1.1
and type in the address
e.g. Internet Explorer
continue
Next
on the following screen listing
the configuration stages,
press:

Set Password
Choose a new password and then
press Next to continue
(GMT+12:00) Wellington, Auckland
Choose time zone
Choose Wellington, Auckland and
then press Next to continue
( his password is for access to this set up
process if any further changes are required
so write it down and keep in a safe place
- this is not your ihug internet password)
Set PPPoE/PPPo
Username:
your ihug [email protected]
Password:
your ihug password
type in your details then
press Next to continue
Click restart to save your settings. Your modem
will then shutdown and restart automatically.
Youre now ready to surf the internet!
