UponreceivingyournewFAGORBAREQUIPMENT,checkthepackageandthemachineforany
damagesthatmayhaveoccurredduringtransportation.Visuallyinspecttheexteriorofthe
package,ifdamaged,openandinspectthecontentswiththecarrier.Anydamageshouldbe
notedandreportedonthedeliveringcarrier’sreceipt.
Intheeventthattheexteriorisnotdamaged,yetuponopening,thereisconcealeddamageto
theequipmentnotifythecarrierimmediately.Notificationshouldbemadeverballyaswellasin
writtenform.Requestaninspectionbytheshippingcompanyofthedamagedequipment.
Retainallcratingmaterialuntilinspectionhasbeenmade.Contactthedealerthroughwhich
youpurchasedtheunit.
Checkthecompressorcompartmenthousingandvisuallyinspecttherefrigerationpackage.Be
surelinesaresecureandbaseisstillintact.

3.1 UNCRATING
Cutandremovetheouterpackaging.Cutthe(4)clampsthatholdtherefrigeratortotheskid.
Lifttheunitofftheskid.Ifmachinewaslaiddownduringthisoperationleavethecabinet
uprightfor24hoursbeforepluggingintopowersource.
3.2 SEALING
WHENSANITATIONCODESREQUIRESEALINGTOFLOOR
THISMETHODMAYBEUSED
1.Tipcabinetandapplyabeadofsiliconesealonbottomedgeofthebase.
2.Returncabinettouprightpositionandusingproperequipment,liftcabinetintolocation.
Heavyappliancesshouldnotbeusedonthesamecircuitwiththecooler.
CAUTION:Ifanextensioncordisnecessary,useonlyathreewiregroundingtypeofwire,size16
AWGorheavier;donotexceed20feetinlength.Theuseofungroundedcordsor
overloadedcircuitvoidscompressorwarranty.
3.3 CLEANINGOFCABINET
Theexteriorofthecabinetispaintedandshouldbecleanedonlywithlukewarmwater,taking
carenottoscratchthepaint.Milddetergentsarealsorecommended.Theinteriorcanbe
cleanedinasimilarmanner.THECONDENSERMUSTBECLEANEDATREGULARINTERVALS.
FAILURETODOSOCANCAUSECOMPRESSORMALFUNCTIONANDWILLVOIDWARRANTY.
Cleanapproximatelyeverysixmonths,dependinguponusage,dust,etc.Pullcabinetawayfrom
wallandthoroughlyvacuumthecondenserandsurroundingsurfaces.
Thiscoolerisdesignedtomaintainyourbeertemperaturewithinthemostdesirablerange.You
canexpectthistemperaturewiththepropertemperaturecontrolsettingandinanormal
environment.Itisimportanttounderstandthatwhenthebeerispurchased,itmustbeplaced
insidethecoolerassoonaspossibletoavoidexcessivewarm‐up.Ifthishappens,itmaytake
manyhoursforthetemperaturetobereducedtothedesirablerange.Noprovisionismadefor
rapidcoolingofbeerwhichhasbecometoowarm.
3.4 LOCATION
Unitsrepresentedinthismanualareintendedforindooruseonly.Besurethelocationchosen
hasafloorstrongenoughtosupportthetotalweightoftheunitandcontents.Forthemost
efficientoperation,besuretoprovidegoodaircirculationinsideandoutsideoftheunit.

Insidecabinet:
Thefirstcleaningmustbemadewhenyouunpacktheunitandbeforeswitchingiton.Cleanit
withwaterandamilddetergent.Whenitiscleananddry,inserttheaccessoriesinthe
appropriateplaces,forthebestuseoftheuser.
Outsidecabinet:
Besuretheunithasgoodaircirculationaroundit.Avoidhotcornersandlocationsnearstoves
andovens.Itisrecommendedtheunitbeinstallednocloserthan2”fromanywall.Theplace
wheretherefrigeratorisplacedmustbeopenandclean,avoidingthatdefanofthecondensing
unitabsorbsmaterialswhicharedepositedthenintothecondenserbladesandcoil,whichcan
producefailures.
3.5 DATAPLATE
Thedataplateinlocatedinsidetheunit,nearthetopfrontleftcorner.Undernocircumstances
shouldthedataplateberemovedfromtheunit.Thedataplateisessentialtoidentifythe
particularfeaturesofyourunitandisofgreatbenefittoinstallers,operatorsandmaintenance
personnel.Itisrecommendedthat,intheeventthedataplateisremoved,youcopydownthe
essentialinformationinthismanualforreferencebeforeinstallation.
3.6 ELECTRICALCONNECTIONS
RefertotheamperagedatainthismanualorondataplateandyourlocalcodeortheNational
ElectricalCodetobesureunitisconnectedtotheproperpowersource.Verifycorrectincoming
voltageaccordingtotheDataPlateinformation.
HEAVYAPPLIANCES
Aprotectedcircuitofthecorrectvoltageandamperagemustberunforconnectionofthe
supplycord.UnitmustbegroundedandconnectedinaccordancewithNECArticle422
Appliances.
DANGER: Power must be turned off and disconnected from the power source
whenever performing maintenance, repair or cleaning the condensing unit.
If machine still running when power is off, disconnect power at the circuit breaker
before unplugging the machine.

3.8DIVIDERINSTALLATION
1) Hookthedividerstotheirproperplacesoyouhavedivisionwithinyourcabinet.
4 OPERATION
VerifythermostatisintheOFFpositionpriortoconnectingtheunittoitspowersource.Failure
todosocouldleadtoelectricalfailures.Keepinmindtheevaporatorfansandlightswillstill
havepowerwhilethethermostatintheOFFposition.Connectunittopowersupply.
Temperaturecontroller(insidethecabinet)goesfrom0(OFFPosition)to7(CoolestPosition).
Setcontrolatposition5fortemperatureaverageof35ºF.
4.1DEFROST
The unit will not require defrosting if the door is only opened for a minimum time. Defrosting should
be done when the box is empty and periodically. To do this unplug the unit and leave the door open
for fifteen minutes. Defrost water will accumulate in a pan under the evaporator and will
drain to a plastic container in the storage area under the unit.
Do not use a pick, knife, etc., to pry ice from evaporator as this could puncture evaporator or damage
the finish.
4.2 TROUBLESHOOTING
Sometimes,workingfailuresareduetosimplecauseswhichcanbesolvedbytheuser.Before
askingforthehelpofaqualifiedtechnician,youhavetodosomeverification.Thesefailuresare
notcoveredbythewarranty:
1.Refrigerationdoesn´twork.
a.Checktheunitisstillconnectedtopowersupply.
2.Refrigeratordoesn’treachtemperature.
a.CheckthethermostatisnotinOFFposition.
b.Checkthethermostatisatposition5orhigher.
c.Checktheunitisnotondefrostcycle.
d.Checkgasketisingoodconditionanddoorissealed.
e.Checkfanismoving.Openthedoorpressandholddoorswitchforverification.
f.Don’tputanyfoodinsideuntilunitisattemperature.
g.Besurecastorsorlegswereinstalled.
3.Thereiswaterundertherefrigerator.

StainlessSteelCareandCleaning:
Propercleaningofstainlesssteelrequiressoftclothsorplasticsouringpads.Neverusesteel
pads,wirebrushesorscrapers!
Cleaningsolutionsneedtobealkalineornon‐chloridecleaners.Anycleanercontainingchlorides
willdamagetheprotectivefilmofthestainlesssteel.Chloridesarealsocommonlyfoundinhard
water,salts,andhouseholdandindustrialcleaners.Ifcleanercontainingchloridesareusedbe
suretorinserepeatedlyanddrythoroughlyuponcompletion.
Routinecleaningofstainlesssteelcanbedonewithsoapandwater.Extremestainsorgrease
shouldbecleanedwithanon‐abrasivecleanerandplasticscrubpad.Therearealsostainless
steelcleanersavailablewhichcanrestoreandpreservethefinishofthesteelsprotectivelayer.
Neveruseandacidbasedcleaningsolution!Manyfoodproductshaveanacidiccontentwhich
candeterioratethefinish.BesuretocleantheALLfoodproductsfromanystainlesssteel
surface.Commonitemsincludepeppers,tomatoesandothervegetables.
CleaningtheCondenserCoil
DANGER:Powermustbeturnedoffanddisconnectedfromthepowersource
wheneverperformingmaintenance,repairorcleaningthecondensingunit.
Disconnectmachine.Removefrontbottompanelandcarefullyslideoutthecondensingunit.
Thecondensercoilrequiresregularcleaning;recommendedevery30‐60days,dependingof
theaccumulationofdustandgrease.Ifthebuilduponthecoilconsistsofonlylightdustand
debristhecondensercoilcanbecleanedwithasimplebrush.Heavierdustbuildupmay
requireavacuumorevencompressedairtoblowthoughthecondensercoil.Ifheavygreaseis
presenttherearede‐greasingagentsavailableforrefrigerationuseandspecificallyforthe
condensercoils.Thecondensercoilmayrequireaspraywiththede‐greasingagentandthen
blownthroughwithcompressedair.
Besureallelectricalandmechanicalpartsaredrybeforeturningonthepower.
Neveruseahighpressurewaterwashforthiscleaningprocedureaswatercandamagethe
electricalcomponentslocatednearoratthecondensercoil.Donotplacefiltermaterialin
frontofcondensercoil.Thismaterialblocksair‐flowtothecoilsimilartohavingadirtycoil!
IfyoukeeptheCondensercleanyouwillminimizeyourserviceexpenseandloweryour
electricalcosts.Failuretomaintainacleancondensercoilcaninitiallycausehightemperatures
andexcessiveruntimes.Continuousoperationwithdirtyorcloggedcondensercoilscanresult
incompressorfailures.

Neglecting the condenser coil cleaning procedures WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY
associated with the compressor or cost to replace the compressor!
Toputbackthecondensingunitinitsplace,slideintheunitcarefully.BESUREDRAINPIPEIS
LOCATEDOVERTHEPAN.Replacefrontbottompanel.
GasketMaintenance
Gasketsrequireregularcleaningtopreventmoldandmildewbuildupandalsotokeepthe
elasticityofthegasket.Gasketcleaningcanbedonewiththeuseofwarmsoapywater.Avoid
fullstrengthcleaningproductsongasketsasthiscancausethemtobecomebrittleandprevent
properseals.Also,neverusesharptoolsorknivestoscrapeorcleanthegasketwhichcould
possiblytearthegasketandripthebellows.
Gasketscaneasilybereplacedanddonotrequiretheuseoftoolsorauthorizedservicepersons.
Thegasketscanbepulledoutofthegroveinthedoorandnewgasketscanbe“pressed”back
intoplace.
DrainMaintenance
Eachunithasadrainlocatedinsidetheunitwhichremovesthecondensationfromthe
evaporatorcoilandevaporatesitatanexternalcondensateevaporatorpan.Eachdraincan
becomelooseordisconnectedfrommovingorbumpingthedrain.IFYOUNOTICEEXCESSIVE
WATERACCUMULATIONONTHEINSIDEOFTHEUNITbesurethedraintubeisconnectedfrom
theevaporatorhousingtothecondensateevaporatordrainpan.IFWATERISCOLLECTED
UNDERNEATHTHEUNITyoumaywanttocheckthecondensateevaporatordraintubetobe
sureitisstilllocatedinsidethedrainpan.Thelevelingoftheunitisimportantastheunitsare
designedtodrainproperlywhenonalevelsurface,ifyourfloorisnotlevelthiscanalsocause
drainproblems.Besurealldrainlinesarefreeofobstructions;typicallyfoodproductisfound
blockingdrainlinescausingwatertobackupandoverflowthedrainpans.

WARRANTY
LimitedWarranty
OneYearParts&LaborWarranty:FagorCommercial,Inc.(“Fagor”)Warrantstothefist‐end‐userpurchaser(the“User)that
theFagorbrandequipmentsoldhereunder,exceptforpartsandaccessorieswhichcarrythewarrantyofasupplier(the
“Equipment”)willbefreefromdefectsinmaterialandfactoryworkmanshipundernormalconditionsofuseandmaintenance
foraperiodofone(1)yearsfromthedateofinstallation(Warrantycommencementdate),butinnoeventtoexceedeighteen
(18)monthsfromthedateofshipmentfromthefactory.WarrantyisNotTransferable.
WarrantyCoverage:IfthereisadefectinmaterialorfactoryworkmanshipcoveredbythisWarrantyreportedtoFagorduring
theperiodtheapplicableWarrantyisinforceandeffect,Fagorwillrepairorreplace,atFagor’soption,thatpart(ground
shippingonly)oftheEquipmentthathasbecomedefectiveandwillcoverlaborcost(straighttimeonly)withinthe
correspondingwarrantyperiodoftimeFagorshallbearalllaborcosts(straighttimeonly)inconnectionwiththeinstallationof
thesereplacementparts,providedthat,theinstallationisconductedbyFagororitsauthorizedrepresentative.Chargesfor
warrantytraveltimeroundtrip,totaltwo(2)hoursorupto100milestotal.Anychargesexceedingthosestatedhereinmust
havepriorauthorizationbyFagor.Traveloutsideofthetwo(2)hoursor100miles,andanyworkperformedatovertimeor
weekendrates,wouldbetheresponsibilityoftheowner/user.InthecaseFagordeemstheequipmentnon‐repairable,said
equipmentwillbereplacedandthereplacementunit(s)willcarrythesamewarrantyperiodfromtheoriginalunit’sinstallation
date(originalWarrantyCommencementDate).
AdditionalThreeYearCompressorPartWarranty:Inadditiontothewarrantysetabove,Fagorwarrantsthesealedcompressor
(partonly)foranadditionalfour(4)yearsbasedontheinstallationdate.Thiswarrantyisfordefects,bothinworkmanshipand
material,underthenormalandproperuseandmaintenanceservice.Thefour(4)yearextendedwarrantyonlyappliestosealed
partsofthecompressoranddoesnotapplytoanyotherpartorcomponent,including,butnotlimitedtocabinet,temperature
control,refrigerant,motorstartingequipment,fanassembly,oranyotherelectricalormechanicalcomponent.
ExclusionsfromandConditionstoWarrantyCoverage:ThisWarrantydoesnotcoverpartsoraccessories,which(a)carrythe
warrantyofasupplieror(b)areabused.ApplicationofthisWarrantyisfurtherconditioneduponthefollowing:
Installation:TheEquipmentmustbeproperlyinstalledinaccordancewithFagor’sinstallationproceduresandbya
professionaltechnician.
NoAlteration:TheEquipmentmustnothavebeenmodifiedoralteredfromitsconditionatthedateoforiginalinstallation.
Use:FAGOREQUIPMENTISNOTDESIGNEDFORPERSONAL,FAMILY,ORHOUSEHOLDPURPOSES,ANDITSSALEFORSUCH
PURPOSESISNOTINTENDED.INTHEEVENTTHEEQUIPMENTISSOUSED,THISWARRANTYSHALLBENULLANDVOID,
ANDTHEEQUIPMENTSHALLBEDEEMEDTOHAVEBEENSOLD“ASIS‐WHEREIS”WITHOUTANYWARRANTYOFANY
KIND,INCLUDINGWITHOUTLIMITATIONANYWARRANTYOFTITLE,NON‐INFRINGEMENT,MERCHANT‐ABILITYOR
FITNESSFORAPARTICULARPURPOSE.
ProperMaintenanceandOperation:TheEquipmentmustbeproperlymaintainedandoperatedinaccordancewithFagor’s
maintenanceandoperatingprocedures.Allservice,laborandpartsmustbeacquiredfromFagororitsauthorized
servicerepresentativefortheUser’sarea.
Thiswarrantyisvoidiffailureisadirectresultofhandlingand/ortransportation,fire,water,accident,misuse,actsofgod(s),
attemptedrepairbyunauthorizedpersons,improperinstallation,ifserialnumberhasbeenremovedoraltered,orif
unitisusedforpurposeotherthanitwasoriginallyintended.
FailuretocomplywithanyoftheseconditionswillvoidthisWarranty.Inaddition,thisWarrantydoesnotcoverdefectsdueto
apparentabuse,misuseoraccident.

PartsWarrantyCoverage:FagorwarrantsallnewmachinepartsproducedorauthorizedbyFagortobefreefromdefectsin
materialandworkmanshipforaperiodof90daysfromtheWarrantyCommencementDate.Ifanydefectinmaterialand
workmanshipisfoundtoexistwithinthewarrantyperiod,Fagorwillreplacethedefectivepartwithoutcharge.Defectiveparts
becomethepropertyofFagor.
FagorwillhavenoresponsibilitytohonorclaimsreceivedafterthedatetheapplicableWarrantyexpires.Notwithstandingthe
foregoing,anyclaimwithreferencetotheEquipmentoranypartsthereforeforanycauseshallbedeemedwaivedunless
submittedbytheUsertoFagorwithin(30)daysafterthedatetheUserdiscovered,orshouldhavediscovered,theclaim.In
connectionwithallclaimsunderthisWarranty,Fagorwillhavetheright,atitsownexpense,tohaveitsrepresentativesinspect
theEquipmentattheUser’spremisesandtorequestalloftheUser’srecordspertainingtotheEquipmenttodetermine
whetheradefectexists,whethertheconditionssetforthinthisWarrantyhavebeensatisfied,andwhetherornotthe
applicableWarrantyisineffect.
THEFOREGOINGWARRANTYISINLIEUOFANDEXCLUDESALLOTHERWARRANTIESNOTEXPRESSLYSETFORTHHEREIN,
WHETHEREXPRESSORIMPLIEDBYOPERATIONOFLAWOROTHERWISE,INCLUDINGBUTNOTLIMITEDTOANY
REPRESENTATIONOFPERFORMANCEANDANYIMPLEDWARRANTIESOFTITLE,NON‐INFRINGEMENT,MERCHANTABILITYOR
FITNESSFORAPARTICLULARPURPOSE.NOOTHERWARRANTIESAREAUTHORIZEDONBEHALFOFFAGORUNLESS
SPECIFICALLYISSUEDBYFAGOR.
Fagorshallhavenoliabilityforincidentalorconsequentiallosses,damagesincludingwithoutlimitationorexpenses,lossof
sales,spoiledfood,profitsorgoodwill,claimswhetherornotonaccountofrefrigerationfailureorpunitiveorexemplary
damagesdirectlyorindirectlyarisingfromthesale,handlingoruseoftheEquipmentorfromanyothercauserelatingthereto,
whetherarisingincontract,tort,warranty,strictliabilityorotherwise.Fagor’sliabilityhereunderinanycaseisexpresslylimited,
atFagor’selection,torepairorreplacementofEquipmentorpartsthereforeortotherepaymentof,orcreditingtheuserwith,
anamountequaltothepurchasepriceofsuchgoods.
Prices&Specifications:Fagorreservestherighttochangethepricesandspecificationsoftheequipmentand/ormaterial
withoutnotice.PricesareFOBFagorwarehouses.AllordersaresubjecttoacceptancebyFagorCommercial,Inc.
Terms:Allordersaresubjecttocreditapproval.AllInvoicesnotpaidwithinthespecifiedtermswillbesubjecttoa1.5%per
monthdelinquencycharge.Buyeragreestopayallcostsofcollectionincludingsuchattorney’sfeesasmaybeallowedbylaw.
Taxes:ThispricelistdoesnotincludeanyFederal,State,CityorLocaltaxes,whichmayapplyandaresubjectthereto.
Shipment:Requestedcarrierwillbeuseduponrequest.Fagorhastherighttoshipviaanyresponsiblecarrierifrequested
carrierisunavailable.Shippingchargesarepayablebyconsigneeandanyclaimsarisingassuchchargesshallberesolved
betweenthecarrierandtheconsignee.Shippingdatesareapproximates.Fagorisnotresponsibleforanydelaysindeliveries
