Cloud Core Router 1072-1G-8S+
The CCR1072 is a high-performance multicore router with eight SFP+ cages. Ports are irectly connecte to a
Tilera 72 core CPU an assiste by 16 GB of built-in ECC RAM.
First use
The Ethernet port 1 (BOOT) has a efault IP a ress for connecting: 192.168.88.1 username is a min an there is
no passwor . Please connect with your web browser to this IP a ress an choose Webfig to configure it. The
evice oesn’t have any other configuration applie by efault, please connect to it, an set up WAN IP a resses,
user passwor , firewall, etc. Please see the configuration section.
Mounting
The evice is esigne to use in oors an it can be mounte in a rackmount enclosure using provi e rack
mounts, or it can be place on the esktop. Use a Phillips screw river to attach rackmount ears on both si es of
the evice if esignate use is for rackmount enclosure:
1. Attach rack ears to both si es of the evice an tighten four screws to secure them in place, as shown on
the picture to the right;
2. Place the evice in rackmount enclosure an align with the holes so that evice fits conveniently;
3. Tighten screws to secure it in place.
The IP rating scale for this evice is IPX0. The evice has no protection from water contamination, please
ensure the placement of the evice in a ry an ventilate environment. We recommen Cat6 cables for
our evices.
Mounting and configuration of this device should be done by a qualified person.

Powering
The evice has ual removable (hot-swap compatible) power supply units AC ⏦ 110-240V (2.5 A) with stan ar
IEC compatible sockets with Maximum power consumption of 125 W.
Configuration
Once logge in, we recommen clicking the “Check for up ates” button in the QuickSet menu, as up ating your
RouterOS software to the latest version ensures the best performance an stability. For wireless mo els, please
make sure you have selecte the country where the evice will be use , to conform with local regulations.
RouterOS inclu es many configuration options in a ition to what is escribe in this ocument. We suggest
starting here to get yourself accustome to the possibilities: http://mt.lv/help. In case IP connection is not available,
the Winbox tool (http://mt.lv/winbox) can be use to connect to the MAC a ress of the evice from the LAN si e
(all access is blocke from the Internet port by efault).
For recovery purposes, it is possible to boot the evice for reinstallation, see a section Reset button.

Reset utton
The reset button has two functions:
•Hol this button uring boot time until LED light starts flashing, release the button to reset RouterOS
configuration.
•Or Keep hol ing the button for 5 more secon s until LED turns off, then release it to make the
RouterBOARD look for Netinstall servers.
Regar less of the above option use , the system will loa the backup RouterBOOT loa er if the button is presse
before power is applie to the evice. Useful for RouterBOOT ebugging an recovery.

menu /system resource. Other operating systems have not been teste .
