DANGER! (For babies and children)
Dispose of or store any packaging material properly! Packaging material must be
kept out of the reach of babies and children due to the risk of suffocation.
Ensure that children never use the appliance unattended! In addition, make sure
that children do not remove (small) parts from the device, as they could suffoca-
te by swallowing parts!
DANGER! (Electrical shock due to high voltages in the device)
The housing must not be removed! There are no parts to be maintained in the
device. Inside the unit there are components which are under high electrical
voltage.
Before each use, check the device for damage or the absence of components,
protective devices or housing parts. If this is the case, the device must not be
used!
Leave maintenance and repair work to a qualified service workshop or contact
your dealer. In the case of a malfunction of the device, operation must also be
stopped immediately until the device has been repaired by a specialist!
DANGER! (Electric shock due to short circuit)
Modifications to the power cord or plug are prohibited. If the power cord is
damaged, it must be replaced immediately with an original spare part from the
manufacturer.
Always make sure that the grounding of the device is maintained. Only use the
supplied power cables and always maintain the earthed protective contacts on
the side. Make sure that the sockets used have a properly functioning protective
earth.
Failure to do so may result in fire or death due to electric shock!
Hint! (Fire hazard due to overheating)
The maximum permissible ambient temperature of this device is 40°C.
Ensure that the unit is placed in a well-ventilated location away from direct heat
sources, naked flames, combustible materials, and liquids. A minimum distance
of 1 m is required.
Do not tape or cover the ventilation slots of the unit, or insert objects into the
unit.
Hint! (Operating conditions)
Due to its structural characteristics, the device is designed for indoor operation
(IP20).
Never expose the unit to rain, moisture or liquids as this may cause damage.
Vibrations, dust or sunlight can also cause damage, avoid them!

Hint! (Power supply)
This device is operated with phantom power. According to DIN 45596, phantom
power is a positive voltage of 12, 24 or 48 volts on both AF lines compared to
the cable shielding.
The phantom power usually comes from mixing consoles, sound cards or micro-
phone amplifiers, sometimes also from batteries.
If you do not use your device for a long period of time or carry out maintenance
work, disconnect the device from the power source in order to minimize danger.
Never pull the cable while phantom power is active!
Hint! (Condensation)
To avoid condensation in the unit, the unit should adapt to the ambient tempe-
rature before commissioning
Hint! (Unwanted odours)
A new product can sometimes lead to unwanted odours. This reaction is normal
and disappears after a few minutes.
Hint! (Damage to loudspeaker diaphragms due to feedback)
Avoid feedback by keeping the microphone away from activated speakers that
are simultaneously listening to the signal. If necessary, turn off the speakers
completely.
Hint! (Sensitive microphone capsule)
To avoid damage to the microphone capsule - never open the microphone
basket!
Hint! (Sound pressure level/noise level to noise distance)
Observe the specified sound pressure level/noise level spacing to prevent dest-
ruction of the diaphragm caused by extreme levels.

Installation:
Be sure to check the unit for damage before use. Use the original packaging or a suitable transport
or storage packaging to protect the product from dust, moisture, etc. when not in use.
Directional characteristics:
Microphones have one or more directional characteristics in order to achieve better sound recording
results, depending on the application. Sound arriving at the basket and capsule from certain angles
can be erased, attenuated or not influenced at all. How strong or weak these effects are depends
on the microphone. The main characteristics are omnidirectional, eight and club, while the cardioid,
wide cardioid, supercardioid and hypercardioid characteristics are mixed.
Example application 1: Omnidirectional
Since the omnidirectional characteristic has no extinctions due to the design of the microphone,
sound from all directions can be picked up almost uniformly.
Example application 2: Cardioid
Sound hitting the rear is extinguished/dampened by the cardioid characteristic. The focus here is on
the direct signal.
Equipment and use:
• 2 miniature overhead condenser microphones for cymbal pickup.
• Including plastic hard shell case.
• Built-in 10dB pad and bass roll-off switch.
• Requires Phantom Power for operation (Phantom power 48 V).
• The microphone has a wide cardioid frequency band.
• 6dB/Octave roll-off at 200Hz to compensate „Close Miking“ proximity effect, built-in selectab-
le 10dB attentuator to allow operation at high sound pressure levels.
Operation:
All connections of the device should be made before switching on. Only use high-quality, undama-
ged and as short cables as possible for the connections.

Symptoms Troubleshooting
No tone
Check the cable for damage (cuts, extreme kinks, etc.) and replace
if necessary.
Check the wiring. Connectors must be fully inserted and snap into
place!
Check if the 48V phantom power is switched on at the console/
interface.
Check the setting of the preamplifier on the console/interface/etc.
Delayed tone Change the buffer size in the DAW settings. The lower the num-
ber, the lower the latency. (Note: with a low buffer size, the ma-
chine requires higher performance. Depending on the computer,
this can lead to higher performance losses). For more information,
please refer to the manual of each digital audio workstation.
Troubleshooting:
If the specified corrections have not led to success, please contact our service staff. The contact
details can be found at www.musicstore.de
Hint! (Adjustable characteristics)
When recording, pay attention to the adjustable characteristics and read the
instructions in the operating instructions.
The adjustable low-cut filter also leads to a different recording result, as sub-
bass frequencies are filtered out.
