Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Das Grenzflächenmikrofon ECM-300B ist ein
kompaktesElektret-MikrofonmitKugelcharakte-
ristik. Es läßt sich besonders gut als Tischmikro-
fon einsetzen und eignet sich optimal für
Sprachaufnahmen, z.B. bei Konferenzen, Inter-
views, Theatervorführungen, Ansprachen etc.
Das Mikrofon wird über das angeschlossene
Audiogerät gespeist, d.h. der Mikrofoneingang
amAudiogerätmußübereinePhantomspeisung
(9–48V ) verfügen. Für den Anschluß des
Mikrofonswird der optional erhältlichePhantom-
speisungsadapter EMA-300P aus dem Pro-
gramm von „img Stage Line“ benötigt.
Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Das Mikrofon entspricht der EMV-Richtlinie für
elektromagnetischeVerträglichkeit89/336/EWG.
●Das Mikrofon ist nur zur Verwendung im
Innenbereich geeignet. Schützen Sie es vor
Feuchtigkeit und Hitze (zulässiger Einsatz-
temperaturbereich 0–40°C).
●Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein
trockenes, weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall
Chemikalien oder Wasser.
●Wird das Mikrofon zweckentfremdet, falsch
angeschlossen oder nicht fachgerecht repa-
riert, kann für eventuelle Schäden keine Haf-
tung übernommen werden.
●Soll das Mikrofon endgültig aus dem Betrieb
genommen werden, übergeben Sie es zur
Entsorgungeinem örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.
Inbetriebnahme
Für den Anschluß des Mikrofons an das Audio-
gerät(z.B.Mischpult,Verstärker) wird derAdap-
ter EMA-300P aus dem Programm von „img
Stage Line“ benötigt.
Das Mikrofonkabel an den Mini-XLR-Stecker
desAdaptersanschließen,undden XLR-Stecker
des Adapters mit einem symmetrischen XLR-
Mikrofoneingang am Audiogerät verbinden. Der
Mikrofoneingang muß mit einer Phantomspei-
sung von 9–48V ausgestattet sein, anderen-
falls ist kein Mikrofonbetrieb möglich.

Boundary Microphone
Applications
The boundary microphone EMC-300B is a com-
pact electret microphone with omnidirectional
characteristic. It is particularly useful as a desk
microphone and is ideally suited for picking up
speech, e.g. at conferences, interviews, theatre
performances, lectures, etc.
Power supply of the microphone is effected
via the connected audio unit, i.e. the micro-
phone input on the audio unit must be provided
with a phantom power (9–48V ). For connect-
ing the microphone, the phantom power adapter
EMA-300P is required which can be ordered
separately from the “img Stage Line” range.
Safety Notes
The microphone corresponds to the directive for
electromagnetic compatibility 89/336/EEC.
●Themicrophoneissuitableforindooruse only.
Protect it against humidity and heat (admis-
sible ambient temperature range 0–40°C).
●For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, by no
means chemicals or water.
●If the microphone is used for other purposes
than originally intended, if it is not correctly
connected or not repaired by authorized per-
sonnel, no liability for any damage will be
accepted.
●If the microphone is to be put out of operation
definitively, take it to a local recycling plant for
disposal.
Setting into Operation
For connecting the microphone to the audio unit
(e.g mixer, amplifier), the adapter EMA-300P
from the “img Stage Line” range is required.
Connect the microphone cable to the mini
XLR plug of the adapter and connect the XLR
plug of the adapter to a balanced XLR micro-
phone input on the audio unit. The microphone
input must be provided with a phantom power of
9–48V , otherwise operation of the micro-
phone will be impossible.
