MG25 is a flight controller especially designed for small size quadcopters, it’s compact,
easy to use and quite stable on flying.
● Compact size, lightweight design, especially suitable for 250 size quadcopter which has
limited space and weight.
● 32-bit ARM processor, powerful computing capability.
● High-precision MEMS sensor embedded 3-axis gyroscope and 3-axis accelerometer.
● Supports SBUS receiver, simplify wiring.
● Advanced attitude and control algorithms, excellent performance.
● Supports auto level, manual modes, made it suitable for both beginners and advanced pilots.
● Uses a separate input channel to select flight modes.
● Easy to use, users can simply set and fly.
● PC client software provides a rich set of parameters for high-end users.
● Supports FC53 programming card, makes setting on field more convenient.

8.First time setup
● Basic setting
Please select appropriate‘Frame type’, ‘Receiver type’and‘Idle speed’via PC
software according to your quadcopter and transmitter.
● Transmitter setting
Please set the model type to general airplane on your transmitter.
Please connect MG25 AUX to the 5th channel of your transmitter, and use a
double-stage switch to sleect different flight modes, the corresponding flight modes to
switch position are shown in the table below
● Power on instruction
Please strictly follow the instructions below to power on the MG25.
Note: When using SBUS receiver, transmitter channels must be distributed
as shown in the table below.

● Arming and disarming
After power on the copter correctly, execute the arming gesture (move the sticks and
hold for 1 second as shown in figure below), the copter will be armed (green light on), all
motors will begin to spin slowly, you can raise the throttle to take off; if throttle keeps down
over 3 seconds, the copter will disarm again (red light on, all motors stop).
Note: If you execute arming gesture when MG25 is armed, MG25 will disarm
again immediately.
!
● MG25 stick range calibration & ESC calibration
Stick range calibration makes control of MG25 more precise, MG25 provides a simple
way to calibrate stick range: Turn on the transmitter, put the throttle stick at maximum
position, and then connect the battery, both red and green LED on MG25 will on, that
means MG25 has entered stick range calibration mode. After that, pull the throttle stick
down to its minimum position until all LEDs are off, stick range calibration is finished.
Note:
1.All channels must be set to a same travel.
2.During this process, all MG25 outputs are same as your throttle, so you can connect all
ESCs to MG25 outputs so that ESC throttle calibration can be done at the same time.
9.Settings
MG25 can be connected to PC via USB link module, connect these as shown in figure
below.

● Basic gain: Most crucial parameters, direct affect flying performance. Usually, larger
copter needs larger basic gains. The default settings are optimized for 250 size
quadcopters.
● Angular rate limit: These parameters decide maximum rotating speed your copter can
reach on manual mode. The higher these parameters are set, the more manoeuvrable you
copter will be. If you want do flips and rolls, it’s better to set over 300.
● Angle limit: Maximum angle of each axis of your copter can achieve on auto level
mode, you can increase these if you want fast fly on auto level mode.
● Attitude gain: You can get quick response of the copter to your controls if you increase

these parameters.
● Angle trim: These parameters are used to compensate angle bias on auto level flying
(usually caused by inaccuracy of the mounting surface). During auto level flying, if you
put aileron stick on its neutral but the copter still drift left, you can increase roll angle
trim to eliminate this, otherwise the opposite; if you put elevator stick on its neutral but
the copter still drift backward, you can increase pitch angle trim to eliminate this,
otherwise the opposite
MG25 can also be connected with FC53 programming card for field setting. Please
refer FC53 instruction manual for more details.
