Please follow the outlined instructions and operational tips.
Configuration
1. Install the SafeAir device and the ASTM Add-on as instructed:
SafeAir Mavic/ SafeAir Phantom.
2. In order to update your SafeAir device, pair it with the remote control
together with the Professional Kit, please follow these instructions.
Make sure your device is updated to its latest version:

3. Charge the system for at least 1 hour.
Before Takeoff
If this is the first installation of the system on the drone follow the instructions in
the manual.
1. When powering up the system check that a green LED appears initially
(indicating the battery is full)
2. After system finishes boot up sequence the LED changes to blue (if the RC is
turned off or not configured, a flashing yellow LED appears)
3. Press the trigger button and check that the system LED blinks in yellow
(might be blue and yellow). Since the SafeAir is not armed, the parachute will
not deploy)
After Takeoff
When reaching an altitude of 10 m/33 ft. wait for 3 seconds. At this point the
system should be armed. The buzzer should beep once.
After Landing
After landing wait 3 seconds. At this point the system should disarm and the
buzzer should beep twice

Important note for SafeAir Mavic:
The ASTM cable, which connects the ASTM Add-on to the SafeAir Mavic, should
pass between the two right rubber band loops (as shown on the right photo). Do
not loop or tie the ASTM cable underneath the two rubber band loops (as shown
on the left photo), as doing so will hinder parachute performance.
